dont know abt his more recent works with dgs but takumis 2000-2010 works Does Not Like Women i think fandom including tumblr overhype their ability to recognize sexism in fiction bc aa + ghost trick is sooooo 💀 but its bc its not sexist in a conventional way ppl seem to think its not that bad.. conventional as in theres never a romance between the main male protag and female deuteragonist, but that.. does not mean the female deuteragonists are necessarily well written 😭

#i think lynne is better written than maya at the very least i think takumi made a snails pace of progress at slowlyy #getting better at writing women #but lynne and kamila still get sidelined in the ending and thats nawt.... great #i also admittedly fell into this line of thinking tht gts sexism isnt that bad bc i was wowed by the fact that *Spoilers Incoming*#this game has been about a kitty cat and a puppy Omg #but when i think back + read other peoples thoughts its like... yeah this game was not that awesome sauce
