actually before i watch my episode of tv can i take a second to complain about books. ok thanks team let’s get into it. so you know me i’m one of the leading appreciators of children’s/middle grade books so of course i figured i’d like to see some classics of the juvenile fiction mystery genre. meaning of course. nancy drew and the hardy boys. and i of course respect a classic and a trailblazer i don’t mean to come across as not respectful but can i keep it real. some of this stuff sucksss… i read a nancy drew and it wasn’t bad but these hardy boys… wowie are they pissing me off lowkey like why are they cops. i didn’t know they were so affiliated with cops… nancy drew wasn’t a cop she was just a nosy weirdo who loved the game. trixie belden was never with the cops she was just constantly caught up in some shit out of the kindness of her heart… even sherlock holmes was never a cop he just called those guys for backup sometimes and then called them all stupid cunts for not figuring shit out. the hardy boys are literally like. teen cops. their dad is a cop and they work for him. this is like in riverdale when jughead made all the serpents work for the police. also. working for your dad? get a life frank and joe 🙄 anyway. girl whatever
