I've only been able to play through a little of the indigo disk but the pervasiveness of gen 5 in it so far has me crafting a tinfoil hat called "black and white 3"

Vessel AU: Pecharunt's Rot

The vessel au is about powerful legendary/mythical pokemon taking up human hosts/confidants e.i like Resirham and Zekrom would want hosts that embody their ideals for comfort and human connection or e.i like Arceus needing a helping hand in the form of turning someone into a puppet and guiding them along. Could be malicious, could be co-habitable and comfortable.

Kieran draws the short end of the stick.

Kieran finds Pecharunt before returning to the blueberry academy in Unova and strikes a deal. A devil's bargain.

Kieran is given strength and more willpower to become the best and strongest trainer, in turn, Pecharunt in brought to new lands and hitches a ride with Kieran.

Pecharunt isn't strong enough to just dip in and out of physical reality, it's no legendary, but it takes the form of Kieran's hair band and a 'scarf' instead to stay close.

While Kieran trains to become the champion, Pecharunt spread's the toxic chain to the pokemon in the terrarium. It corrupts the pokemon and infects the pokemon with malice and poison. The pokemon get stronger, but they also get weaker.

So does Kieran. He sleeps less, eats less, he's so unlike himself that Carmine can't even recognize her little brother anymore.

Unbeknownst to both Kieran and Pecharunt, their bond and traits are so similar, they blend into one another. Fusing into an amalgamation of toxic mentality of winning and never accepting losing, of take take take until they're nothing left.

Kieran starts to look stranger, act stranger.

(Also I threw in Volo because the main story of the vessel au has him getting no attention whatsoever from any cool possessive dieties so I had to give him more L's)

Scarlet x Violet

Like with Sword x Shield, I decided to share the highlights from Ansy & Ikrit’s Paldean adventure, Scarlet x Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero! If you’d like to see the whole story, please visit my Instagram at parasol_lady_ansy 🌧️

While I did enjoy Scarlet & the DLC’s (going back to Unova in Blueberry Academy was a treat!), I didn’t like Scarlet nearly as much as I like (LOVE!) Sword, so this was a much shorter series, mostly focusing on the Indigo Disk DLC.

Important headcanons for this story: Ansy & Ikrit ended up on parallel timelines when they came to Paldea - Ansy was on the Scarlet timeline (Naranja Academy, Koraidon) while Ikrit was on Violet timeline (Uva Academy, Miraidon). They could still communicate across spacetime via their Rotom phones & Union Circle (spots where the timelines blur & they can meet up).

Being around all these kids really brought up Ansy’s maternal instincts, as she “adopted” Penny & Arven lol (she would still check on how they’re doing).

Professor Sada / Turo similarly fell into the parallel timeline years ago, though each concluded the other “left” following an incident with the Time Machine (the reason the timeline split in the first place). These two timelines converged in the endgame climax, & the Paldea that exists now is a combination of the two. The academies became Uva-Naranja Academy, & everyone has a combination of memories from the two timelines.

in the au Black is like half siblings with Carmine and Kieran because

A) thought the hair was similar (pointy)

B) the highly isolationist town of mossui town would absolutely DESPISE this loud half-unovan illegitimate child and it would be really really funny

Idk exactly how itd be like but probably their dad went to Unova for higher education and messed around and ended up having Black with Black's mother. The two were friends then and are still on good-enough terms but nowadays Black's father has a family back in Kitakami and Black visits once a year (to the dismay of his grandparents)

But idk i guess their father and kieran/carmine's mother are probably dead or something now so… family reunions are awkward

Kieran would idolise Black, and Carmine would lowkey dislike him, not as much as the player but still wouldn't really be able to relate to him that much

maybe post-black’s-hisui-adventures they could all go to blueberry academy like in the drawing, wouldn’t that be cute
