Day 15 - "Are you jealous?"
Pairing: Satoru Gojo x F!Reader Word Count: 2.5k (WHOO) Content: Fluff, fighting a curse (no one gets severely injured :D), Gojo's past, Reader is Kaori's younger sister, somewhat canon compliant Tuna-Tober 2024 Masterlist <- check out the other fics posted this month!
A/N: Another taste of my upcoming series that I’m hoping to put out once I finish Tuna-Tober! I do some liberties from canon since we don’t know that much about Kaori before. . . y’know. . . Let me know if you want to be tagged in the series if you enjoyed this little preview! And as always be sure to like, reblog and comment if you'd want to see more! - Yours Truly
June 7, 2007
Apparently after the stunt you pulled during the Exchange Event a few weeks ago your sister’s clan reached out to her, accepting you both into the clan. You had to go back home to Sendai and deal with negotiations with her. They would never accept that Kaori married a human, not even capable of jujutsu, nor their son.
You talked to Yaga a few days ago and he agreed to let either Gojo or Geto take your missions for you while you were gone. As you step back into your house you remember the words Yaga mentioned.
A cursed object went missing in Sendai not long ago. We’re sending some sorcerers there but given you’re up for promotion, keep an eye out.
“Auntie!!” Your nephew runs up to you as soon as you walk through the front door.
“Yuji!!” You match his excitement, kneeling down to pick him up. Once he’s in the air he’s giggling holding onto you.
“Goodness you’re getting so big now, I can barely. . .” You slowly drop to your knees dramatically, “Lift you up anymore. . .” You set him on the ground and collapse on the floor. Yuji keeps giggling at you and tries to turn you to your side.
“Come on, Auntie!” You keep your eyes closed, but you stick out your tongue like you’re dead. “I know you’re okay. Get up!!” He laughs and you can’t help but to smile along with him. You suddenly grab him, pulling him into a hug and you're both laughing.
You hear someone clear their throat and you look up to see Wasake, Kaori, and Jin looking down at the two of you. Yuji squirms out of your hold and runs up to his dad, his smile never waning.
“She’s home! She’s home!” Yuji tells him as you start to stand up.
“Welcome home.” Your sister says, her smile not reaching her eyes.
“Thank you,” You try to give her a reassuring smile back but she turns to Wasuke before she could notice.
“My sister and I have business to take care of tonight. Don’t worry about saving dinner for us, we won’t be home until late.”
Wasuke gives her a tense look but nods his head.
“I understand. Jin, can you take her suitcase up to her room?”
“Of course,” Jin walks over and picks up your suitcase while holding Yuji in his other arm. “It’s nice to have you home.” He whispers to you.
“It’s nice to be back.” You reply.
Kaori crosses between you two and opens the front door, “Let’s go, it’s rude to keep our guests waiting.”
You straighten up and look towards Jin. He shrugs while Yuji gives you and Kaori a huge wave, “Bye Mommy! Bye Auntie!!”
“Goodbye sweetheart,”
“See ya kiddo!” You give him an enthusiastic wave back as you leave. Once the door closes the air suddenly feels tense. Kaori walks a few paces in front of you as you make sure you have everything on you.
You were meeting the clan head and a few members of their board to go over the negotiations so you were both dressed modestly, but nice. You were wearing a dress that Gojo had bought for you for your two month anniversary and heels that matched. The meeting place wasn’t far from your home so walking there wasn’t a pain.
Kaori stops in front of a house that’s behind a set of gates, and as soon as you're by her side she rings the buzzer. The gate doors swing open and you both walk side by side up to the front door. You bow your heads and when you bring your head up you see the clan head looking down at you both with a curiosity you haven’t seen before.
You keep your face straight as you make eye contact with him.
“So she’s the one with the inherited technique?” A voice asks from behind him, “My future wife?”
Your eyes widen and you look behind the Elder. A boy, possibly a year younger than you, gives you and Kaori a disgusted look as he crosses his arms behind him. He looks weak and pathetic, his hair slightly greasy and he looks like he hasn’t bathed himself in days.
“The girl with that ugly scar on her head?”
“No child, the younger one.” The clan head’s voice was rough and showed his age.
“Your father might have had one too many whores, but at least this child was able to inherit our technique.” He gestures vaguely at you and your hand tightens into a fist. You try to center your breath so you don’t immediately fight these stupid-
“The eldest and I will have a conversation inside; Masamune,” The clan head points to the boy, “She’s your future wife, keep her safe.” The boy rolls his eyes and sighs walking down the steps and meets you face to face.
Kaori walks past the boy and sticks her tongue out behind his back, only for you to see.
You bring a hand up to cover your laugh, but it doesn’t go unnoticed. “What are you laughing at, wife?”
You grimace, “I’m not your wife, and I remembered something a friend of mine told me about clan meetings.” You can feel your phone buzzing in your pocket but you choose to ignore it.
“Oh and what was that?”
“To always skip them.”
Masamune scoffs, “Must be some fourth grade if she skips meetings.”
You hold back another laugh, “I wouldn't consider him a fourth grade sorcerer.”
“Him!?” He raises an eyebrow at you. “No, you’re not allowed to have any male friends if we’re going to be married.”
“Then it’s a good thing we’re not getting married.” You state simply, trying not to let your phone ringing for the umpteenth time annoy you.
Before Masamune can reply a loud ringtone plays out from your pocket, willing itself to be heard.
“I’m sorry I have to take this.” You give him a fake smile and look down at your phone to see Nanami’s phone number lighting up the front. You flip it open, turning away from Masamune.
“This better be good.” You mutter into the phone.
“You’re in Sendai right?!” You overhear a loud crash over the speaker and someone yelling to Nanami.
“Yeah, why?”
You can barely hear Haibara ask, “Did she answer?”
“We’re fighting a special grade curse- need your help. Gojo is on his way but you’ll get to us faster.”
“I- I can’t I. . . “ You look over at Masamune who’s giving you a frustrated look.
“Never mind, I can. Send me a pic of your location and I’ll be there soon.” You hear a loud crashing sound a few blocks away from you.
“Wait, are you nearing a forest?”
“Yes!”
Oh God. Instinct kicks in as you shut your phone closed.
“Hello?” Masamune calls out and you give him a look.
“Can’t explain, special grade curse-” You turn and run out the gate running towards the street.
You’re standing in the middle of the road, eyes searching for the curse’s presence. At first, you're unable to feel anything but you suddenly hear a loud roar coming from a block away.
You look up to see a curse as big as a whale barreling down the street, jaws wide open to eat you. You can see Nanami and Haibara trailing not far behind it, calling out for you to move.
Your head tilts down slightly as you allow yourself to pool your cursed energy into your hands. You bring your hands in front of you. You can feel the pulse of the curse and something inside it.
“Cursed blood technique: convergence!” You yell out as purple liquid trails out of the curse and in front of you. Its blood wraps around your hands as you clasp them together, letting the blood form a laser focus. The curse splits in two right as it reaches you, its body falling to either side of you.
Once it’s completely down, you stumble forward, dropping your focus.
“What the hell?!” You glance over at Masamune who is hiding behind the gate.
“Guys?” You yell out to Nanami and Haibara who are still running at you at full speed.
“It’s not-!” Nanami starts but it’s already too late. The curse is somehow reforming itself. . . you didn’t exorcize it yet.
“Shit.”
You run out of its way and it fully reforms itself, giving the three of you a murderous look.
“What kind of curse-?” You start.
“It’s like a hydra.” Haibara finishes. Nanami brings up his blade in front of you all.
“We need Satoru.”
“No shit,” Nanami mutters. The curse roars again and you all get ready for the fight.
“It’s a good thing I’m here then~”
Nanami looks behind him and gives Gojo an incredulous look.
“Now’s not the time,” You tell Nanami. The curse throws its head back, a disgusting hacking sound coming out of its mouth, “All of you, I’m going to line up the shot; Nanami, you need to cut its head off; Haibara, help me line it up, and Satoru?”
“Yeah Pretty?”
“Don’t destroy this street, my nephew lives down the road.” He gives you a smile before kissing you, “You got it, sweetheart.”
You hear Nanami gagging but there wasn’t any time to deal with the aftermath of your classmates learning that you and Gojo were officially dating. That can come once you all finish off the curse.
You and Haibara run in opposite directions, both trying to get the curse’s attention. Nanami and Gojo disappear from your vision but you soon hear a familiar whistle that you and Nanami came up with.
Once you’re far enough away from the curse, you turn to face it. Centering your focus on its body. You feel your cursed energy seeping out of you as you bring your hands in front of you once more, this time your right arm extending farther than your left. You focus on its heartbeat, the blood it has that keeps itself alive.
You’ve never controlled this level of curse before, but you had no time to worry if doing this would hurt you.
You tense your right hand and mutter, “Cursed blood manipulation: Marionette.”
The curse stills and its body contorts as you gain control of it. You only had a limited amount of time before you would lose consciousness. You turn your right hand slowly towards you and the curse turns on its left shoulder. You can feel it trying to fight against your technique but you hold out. Your right arm straightens out as your left hand goes in the opposite direction.
The curse’s head is a meter away from yours as its body lays flat against the street, your hands start wavering as it starts thrashing against your hold on it.
“Any day now!!” You yell out and suddenly Nanami slices through its neck, splitting it perfectly.
Before it has the chance to reattach its head, Gojo quickly walks through the path between the curse’s head and body, taking his hands across the wound, and cauterizing it with a very limited version of his technique reversal.
You drop down to your knees as you fight to stay awake.
“Hey hey, come on now sweetheart.” Satoru quickly appears at your side, bringing an arm around your torso, and helping you stand up. “We got an audience.”
You try to get your eyes to focus as you look up to see your sister looking at you with mild amusement, the clan head giving you an unamused look and Masamune’s mouth hanging agape.
Haibara runs over towards Nanami helping him up and they both walk over towards you and Gojo.
“Thank you for the help,” Nanami says to you, “I don’t know why they sent us on this mission.”
You give Nanami a smile, glancing back at the curse’s body as it starts to disappear. “I think I know why it was a higher grade than you expected.” You nod in the direction of the object that it left behind. . . one of Sukana’s fingers.
Haibara quickly picks it up before anyone else can, “We better take this back to Jujutsu High.”
Nanami takes out his phone to call one of the assistant supervisors, “We’ll be on our way, we’ll see you soon.” He says to you and you wave goodbye to him. You bring your attention back to Kaori who is starting to walk back home.
“We’re not joining their fucking clan.” She calls out.
“You were going to join their clan?” Satoru looks down at you and you avoid his gaze. “They had offered a lot of protection for my sister and her family.”
“At what cost? If anything you should just marry me and bam you’re a Gojo and no one will fuck with either of us.” You push away from him, a blush creeping onto your face.
“Don’t say things like that if you don’t mean it, Satoru.”
“Wait! No, she's marrying me!” Masamune stomps over to you two. You give him a confused look, “I’m not even joining your clan asshole, fuck off.” You tell him, but he doesn’t falter. He keeps looking at Gojo waiting for an explanation.
“Are you jealous? She’s dating me, the Satoru Gojo, and not you, you pathetic piece of shit.” Gojo’s eyes flicker down at him, his face disgusted. “I should kill you right where you stand.”
“Enough,” You try to sound serious but your smile is on Satoru's shoulder. Masamune looks like he’s about to shit himself and you can’t help but laugh at him.
“Please forgive my son’s behavior Gojo,” The clan head’s voice rings out, “He doesn’t know his place.”
“Clearly.” Satoru snarks, “Let’s get you home sweetheart.”
Within a blink, you’re suddenly in front of your house with Satoru, your hands on his chest. You look up at him and he gives you a soft smile.
“I meant what I said by the way. We should get married.”
You roll your eyes at him and lightly tap his chest, “Okay Toru, whatever you say.” You say sarcastically. He lets go of you reluctantly and you go to open the front door.
Kaori arrives a few moments before Gojo leaves. She sees him kiss you for a few moments before disappearing in front of you.
You and Kaori make eye contact as a blush reappears on your face, “We were just-!”
“It’s okay, I think it’s sweet.” She tells you as she pats your shoulder.
You were in for a lecture from Yaga once you returned to Jujutsu High since none of you put down a veil around the curse. It was worth it though since you got multiple recommendations for First Grade along with Nanami and Haibara after fighting that curse. Things are starting to look up for you guys.

The Lost Sister - Part 15
Synopsis: Xaden is known as an only child due to his sister who 'died' during the Rebellion. Little do they know she didn't die and has been so close this entire time.
Garrick Tavis x OC The Lost Sister Masterlist | Masterlist
I could still feel my cheeks burning with embarrassment as I made my way up to the flight field. Imogen’s question had caught me off guard. She had merely laughed at my reaction of going wide eyed and my cheeks turning a deep shade of red that almost matched my hair before releasing my arm and turning back to her food.
Now dressed in my new flight leathers, I was ready to get that interaction out of my head by going for a flight on Mealladh. I knew Kaori would push us today, see if we we’re really fit to ride our dragons. With the bonds still so fresh, it would be easy for a dragon to sever the bond and find another out of the forty one unbonded. As I stand in front of Mealladh next to Tairn and Violet, I can’t help but notice the looks and whispers the other cadets give us. As well as the wide berth. You could easily fit another dragon or two between us and the next dragon. The only other dragon I had seen that was bigger than ours was Melgren’s. The only other black dragon. I had never seen his dragon around others, but I almost knew the other dragons would give him a wider berth as well. Kaori confirms my suspicions on the unbonded riders as he projects his voice to us. They would definitely kill to be in our position. And right now Violet and I had the biggest targets on our backs with both dragons not being known to be up for bonding yesterday.
You have nothing to worry about little one. I will make sure that doesn’t happen. Though you are more than capable of protecting yourself. Mealladh says through the bond.
I’m not who I am worried about. I say back as Mealladh looks over to Violet and Tairn.
Tairn will look after her. Don’t forget she also has Sgaeyl and your brother to look after her. That bond ties them all together. She tries to assure me.
And that’s what worries me more. Her life is tied to his, and his to hers. Keeping her alive is also my business.
I can’t see her, but I can tell she has nodded by the movement of her shadow and can feel her approval of my words through the bond. Kaori says our bonds are at our weakest, but right now my bond to her feels so strong. Every time I centre myself as Melgren and the teachers assigned me taught me, I can see her there as if she’s always been there. And if I tug at it, it feels strong and stable.
Kaori’s speech drags me from my thoughts. “Now, we’re going to mount, then follow a series of specific manoeuvres your dragons already know. Your orders are simple today. Stay in your seat.” As he finishes he turns and runs towards his dragon, making the vertical climb to mount.
I walk forward and turn, running as fast as I can and climbing Mealladh’s leg with ease. I turn to watch Tairn kneel for Violet. He was adapting to her needs. He would know how weak she was through the bond. I see the other dragons look at him as if shocked at what he is doing. Any other dragon would have made her climb the normal way. Deemed her not worthy of being a rider. But Tairn had. Kaori’s dragon launches into the sky, Tairn following close behind, and Mealladh following. Not long into the ride after following a few of the manoeuvres, I hear a distance scream. The first of many riders to lose their spot today. Something tells me their dragon had not tried to save them. As we bank left my heart nearly jumps out of my chest as Violet falls from Tairn’s back.
She’ll be fine. Watch. Mealladh says to me, obviously sensing my distress.
And watch I do as Tairn catches her in his claws, placing her back on his back. He had not done what the other dragon had done with their rider and watched them fall to their death. Throughout the ride I watched multiple times as Violet looses her seat. To the point I almost don’t even get phased by it. Tairn catches her every time. Tairn saves my brothers life every time.
By the time I’m walking of out of history I feel like I am dragging my feet. Flight training this morning had really taken it out of me followed by gym. And I could tell my class mates we’re the same. The professor must have taken pity on us as they let us go nearly 10 minutes early. I’m so exhausted I don’t even hear the footsteps behind me and my loud yelp echoes off the walls of the corridor as a hand settles on my waist. A familiar laugh fills my ears, and I turn to see Garrick looking down at me.
”Sorry didn’t mean to scare you.” He says with a smile as he pulls me into his side, his hand resting on my waist
”It’s ok.” I tell him with a smile as I lean into him. “Didn’t hear you with how exhausted I am.”
”I’ll go easier on you next time.” He teases, his laughter echoing off the walls as I playfully smack his chest.
”You are not the issue. It’s the flight training followed by gym that’s kicked my ass today.” A yawn escaping my lips as I finish my sentence.
”Well from what I heard from Kaori, you nailed flight training. Told Xaden and I you nailed everything he put you through. Don’t think I’ve ever heard him praise a first year like that, especially not on their first flight training class.” He tells me proudly.
He leads me over to the wall as my squad heads inside the classroom for battle brief. We still had plenty of time and I knew Rhiannon or Violet would spare my seat for me. I rest my head on his shoulder, taking relief in the few moments I have before going into another class.
“Hopefully he doesn’t praise me too much. I don’t need a bigger target on my back.”
Garrick shifts next to me and I don’t need to look to know he would be looking at me confused. “What is that suppose to mean? Why would you have a target on your back?”
I open my eyes and look at him. “You know exactly why. It’s the same reason Violet has a target on hers. Our dragons and Xaden. I saw the way you looked at us at breakfast. You’re worried. Both of you are.”
The way his shoulders sag tells me I’m right. And when his eyes meet mine it confirms it anymore. His face hides his emotions but his eyes scream worry for what’s happened.
”Yes, we are. But we have it under control. Nothing is going to happen to either of you. We’ll make sure of it.” He assures me, his hand squeezing my waist.
”I can handle myself.” I tell him sternly.
He chuckles. “I have no doubts about that. But we’re just going to definitely make sure it doesn’t happen.”
”And how do you plan on doing that?” I ask.
He looks around as the rest of the quadrant starts arriving for battle brief. “Just trust me ok?”
The comment hurts, and I know he sees me slightly recoil at it. “I do Garrick, you know I do. But I’m not that little girl who doesn’t know how to defend herself.”
”I know you aren’t. But you just gotta let me and Xaden handle this.” He tells me sternly as his eyes scan the hallway.
His gaze hardens and I look over to see Xaden standing next to the door to battle brief. Xaden had told him not to say anything. The way he was looking at Garrick said it all. They had a plan and I wasn’t to be apart of it. Xaden was his wing leader, and he would do as Xaden said.
”Fine.” I admit with defeat, but he knew I wasn’t buying it. “Will I see you tonight?”
He smiles down at me but it doesn’t meet his eyes. “I’d love to but Xaden and I have something to do. If I’m not back too late I will come by.”
Another hidden truth. I watch as he nervously swallows as I scan his face and look between him and Xaden. Even Xaden looks nervous at the interaction. But I know if I ask Garrick won’t budge.
”Fine, don’t stay out too late.” I say before slipping out of his grip and walking past Xaden into battle brief.
I don’t miss the look the look the two of them share. And Garrick did not come to my room that night. Part 16 Tag List: @riorgail @going-through-shit @fw-gt @bbkissme99 @xceafh @leptitlu

Yeah, I think the issue I have with people who criticize Yuji is that they focus too much on what he can do that they don't actually stop and really look at his character.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think I'm a Yuji expert. And I don't think what he can do isn't amazing because damn it, I'm living for my boy hitting those Black Flashes!! Yes, to those claws!!
But at the same time, what really reeled me in is how Yuji behaves. It's his personality. It's how he thinks, what he says, what he does that captured my attention and honestly? I think that's what Gege wants the audience to focus more on. Not Yuji's physical capabilites, but his actual character.
Not saying it's completely true, but that's my guess.
A lot of what happens in the story isn't because these characters have awesome ass abilities. It's because of their own behaviors. Their drive to do whatever it is because of their personalities, their experiences, their beliefs.
Think about why they're able to use cursed energy. Their emotions. Why curses exist? Emotions.
Yuji being able to do all these techniques actually isn't something that just came out of nowhere.
It was already hinted at way in the beginning. Gojo did make that remark that Yuji would be able to use Sukuna's technique. Turns out, he was right! Yuji is now able to use his own version of Shrine. (I also have other thoughts about those other techniques but for now I'm keeping that on the backburner. But I don't think that was the only hint. That's for another day though!)
Let's stop and think why, storywise, Yuji can now do the techniques.
Here's my guess!
Because they weren't a vital part of his character to begin with. His abilities are part of his character, but they're not the focus. If so, Yuji would have expressed jealousy over others doing techniques. If so, Yuji would have expressed his goal to getting stronger so that he can be the best. If so, we would have gotten a training montage of each ability. But no!
Yuji's most important part of his character is the fact that he is selfless. It's the fact that he has this good heart. His biggest strength is his ideals. Sukuna hates that. Sukuna has started to really lose his composure once he realizes why he hates Yuji so much. Sukuna never expressed anger until now and who is the cause? Yuji. Sukuna never had to question why he was feeling conflicted. The cause? Yuji, it's Yuji again.
And again, it's not because of his abilities. It's because of how Yuji is.
I think back to what Yuji's grandfather told him.
"You're a strong kid so try to help others."
At first, I did think he meant that Yuji is physically strong. But then the more I think about it, the more I do not think that is just it. Wasuke may not just be referring to only his physical strength. It may have also meant his strong character. (Personally, I feel like Wasuke can read people and probably why he just knew something was up with Kaori because she wasn't herself, but that's for another day.)
Yuji has that strong heart, that strong resolve, that good nature. Because of that good nature Wasuke wanted his grandson to be able to have people care about him not because of what he can do, but because of who he is. He wanted Yuji to show that to people. Think about what happens after. Yuji did start to put himself on the line to help because he took his grandfather's words to heart. He risked saving Megumi, someone who he didn't even know like that, because he is a good kid.
It's why Megumi wanted Gojo to do what he can to save Yuji from execution.
Think about his relationships with the other characters. Him and Nobara practically act on the same wavelength. What was it that got Todo to even declare himself as Yuji's best friend? Similar interests. How about what allowed him to be accepted into Jujutsu High? His test of character.
To simply put, Yuji is just more than what he can do physically. I think some people are so used to "action this and action that" and "MC has amazing abilities and can kick ass" that, no matter the genre, people who engage in this stories don't care to actually stop and examine the other traits the character has.
No, people are so focused on "Left, Right, Good Night", that anything else Yuji has done and said gets looked over.
I don't think Yuji is a "weak protagonist" and sometimes I do take the time out to reread over Gege's writing because it just feels like there's more than what is being shown.
I actually hate the whole thing of comparing mangakas' work to criticize because even if they're taking inspiration from one another, they're not trying to be like that other mangaka exactly. They have their own each individual style and some styles take more time to understand.
You don't have to like it or you're being forced to.
In the case of JJK and with Yuji Itadori, sometimes, how about don't stop at the techniques?
#like maybe yuji isn't a weak protagonist 🙄 maybe you're stuck at the surface level of things#not saying gege's writing is perfect but damn#how about trying to understand the story and its characters???#like if yuji was all about his fucking abilities I'm sure his abilities would be emphasized on#damn step out of the box sometimes!!#with this new age manga and anime I'm starting to realize that it's not all about fighting anymore#just kiya's thoughts#jjk#jujutsu kaisen#itadori yuji#yuji itadori#yuuji itadori#itadori yuuji#jjk manga spoilers#jjk spoilers

Kenjaku’s original body being AFAB would be interesting considering the amount of suffering and humiliation they inflicted to other AFAB bodies. Violence against women was integral to their plan after all. It’s gets even more disturbing when you think about the nature of that violence : using their wombs. Kaori’s death couldn’t even save her from the expectation to produce a child for her husband. (Jin you imbecile). And let’s not forget their dreadful experiments as Noritoshi Kamo.
#the same Kenjaku that was playing yaoi with Takaba played with a woman’s uterus 150 years ago#is that what we call range?#kaori itadori#kenjaku#noritoshi kamo#jjk#jujutsu kaisen

Nishidake: Chapter 6, Part 1
The mountain is calling us
The Nishidake home in Yukimatsu, the level of Mt Komorebi that is perfect for a snowboarder like Kaori. We’re going to be doing a bit of speeding through the week because the main thing these women need to do is up their rock climbing skill. I want them to reach the summit and of course I’ve decided they’re not going to adopt any kids until after they do that so here we are, stuck in a bit of a needing to upskill rut.
Crucial steps before rock climbing. 1, check it’s not icy. 2, do pre climb stretching to limber up. 3, dust your hands with chalk. 4, put on climbing shoes. 5, wonder how your dog broke out of your enclosed property to come run after you and cheer you on. I love you Clover!
Can’t forget step 6, reset the tourists so you and your wife can use the climbing walls. We’re locals, we get first dibs! Clover continues to cheer on her mummies like a good girl and Kaori gives me my favourite rock climbing peeking animation! Then Amabelle, a cop, comes over and tells Clover off for barking? This is a free country lady!
Apparently I am wrong and it is not a free country judging by how this other tourist, a coworker of Suzanna’s, came over and scolded Clover again. Seriously? It’s too much for Clover who sits down and tries to puzzle how her life became this. Leave my dog alone townies!!! Justice for Clover?
We head to Willow Creek for more rock climbing practice! Then I save, hit pause and go to set up my spreadsheet which I had not done for this household yet only to find I didn’t actually hit pause… you’ll see in a Behind The Screen what happened. Then Charlie had work so Kaori took Clover for her walk. Yes I am still obsessed with these pet boots. When back home Kaori cooked up some dinner.
Bit of woohoo, bit of sleep, roll on the next day! Charlie is up and at ‘em early to take Clover on a run before her shift. She is showing off her “I won the spice contest” t-shirt today. Is it objectively not warm enough for the snow? Maybe but she doesn’t turn blue so we’re good.
While that happens Kaori is enjoying her favourite hobby, flying snowboarding. I do love getting pictures of her in the air. Growl time though, why can’t my sim earn more from snowboarding? She gets a flat rate of 150 simoleons for each POV video she uploads and there’s no in game contests for her to win prizes. It’s ridiculous to me.
Speaking of ridiculous we head to the one and only fishing spot in the whole world as Kaori has an offer to do another, no fish left behind video. She’s working on editing it when she is joined by the best co-editor, Clover. Then she gets a call from the grumpy Del Sol Eatery host offering her a job at level 5 of the astronaut career. Kaori has not been to university. She is level 2 logic. She knows no rocket science. We accept the job.
When she gets home Charlie is stoked to hear her wife has a high paying job considering how little they get from her snowboarding skill. Kaori is materialistic so for her an offer of income was to be accepted.
Charlie has the next day off while Kaori heads to her first day of work ever. Following tidying the garden Charlie decides to take Clover for a nice long jog. She must have been gone an awful long time because when she gets back she could swear the house looks different. Ignoring it she goes to fix a broken sink when there’s a ring at the door.

Hiya! 💗💋🍓🌸Sweetness*POP🌈🍭💀🌟 here!
I would love to share this idea to you PlayStation gamers!
I recently had been imagining what would it be like if in the mid or late 2020s there were to be an upcoming and unexpected Playstation crossover game starring 3 female characters:
Talwyn Apogee of Ratchet & Clank
Keira Hagai of Jak & Daxter
& Carmelita Fox of Sly Cooper
Either for the PS5 or upcoming PS6.
The 3 main voice actresses:
Ali Hillis as Talwyn Apogee
Hillis voiced Talwyn in Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus. Her other roles include Dr. Liara T'Soni of Mass Effect series, Audrey Gassenarl of Valkyria Chronicles II, Karin of Naruto Shippuuden, Andra Cressen of Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011), Presa of Tales of Xilla (2013), Dr. Ariel Hanson of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, Black Cat/Felicia Hardy of The Amazing Spider-Man Video Game (2012), and Lightning Farron of Final Fantasy series.
Erica Lindbeck as Keira Hagai
Imagine when J&D franchise makes surprising return, some of the characters will have new VAs. And Keira's 3rd VA will be Lindbeck. Her other roles include Sayaka Igarashi of Kategurui, Kaori Miyazono of Your Lie in April, Eli Ayase of Love Live! School Project, Futaba Sakura of Persona 5, Cassie Cage of Mortal Kombat 11, Daki of Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba), Lady Nagant of My Hero Academia, Emira of The Owl House, and Loona of Helluva Boss.
& Alésia Glidewell as Carmelita Fox
Glidewell voiced Carmelita and Constable Neyla in Sly 2: Band of Thieves. Her other roles include Zoey of Left 4 Dead (2006), Sedna of Demigod (2009), Alma Wade of F.E.A.R. 2: Project & F.E.A.R. 3 (2009-2011), Chell of Portal, Krystal of Star Fox Assault, Metroid's main protagonist Samus Aran in Super Smash Bros series.
The rating of this game would be ESRB T (Teen) in North America, CERO C (Ages 15 and up) in Japan, and PEGI 12 (Suitable for ages 12 and up) or even PEGI 16 (For ages 16 and up) in Europe.
The content of the game:
Fantasy violence, Blood, Language, Suggestive themes, Mild use of drugs of alcohol, & Sexual themes. Oh yeah, there would be certain reasons why this game would be rated T/C/12(or 16) with this kind of content. Remember when Ratchet & Clank games use to be rated T and toned down to E10+? Or remember that Jak & Daxter was franchise for a teen audience? But do you remember how the Sly Cooper series was always rated E and E10+.
The game would be action/adventure filled with female empowerment.
Plus, a very interesting and sweet storyline were while being the unexpected ones to save and protect their worlds as some unknown force is what mixing their universes dangerously, the 3 heroines help each other out and blossom a close, strong, deep and loving bond together.
Do you all know what would also be cool? If Richard Steven Horvitz (roles include Daggert of The Angry Beaver, Zim of Invader Zim, Billy of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Raz of Psychonauts, Kaos of Skylanders, and Moxxie of Helluva Boss) were to have a voice role the game either as a badass close ally/handler or one of the villains to the 3 heroines!
What if it will be a huge extremely, unexpected surprise that this game will turn out to sell really good around the globe?! It'll be the one crossover game that fans have never asked for! Plus, imagine in the one country, this upcoming PlayStation game will be selling even better. And that one country will be Japan! Japan would end up making lots of advertising with entertaining commercials and 3D digital billboards in Shibuya of Tokyo, and merchandise like figures and anime-style posters. Hell, there could even be a Japanese dub for the game too!
Imagine these brand new seiyuus (who are also singers) for the "PlayStation Move Heroines":
Marina Inoue as Talwyn Apogee
Inoue's roles include Armin Arlert of Attack on Titan, Yoko Littner of Gurren Lagann, Yumiko Miura of Oregairu (My Youth Romantic Comedy is Wrong as I expected), Rei Miyamoto of HighSchool of the Dead, Tohka Yatogami of Date A Live, Momo Yaoyorozu of My Hero Academia, and Mai Zenin of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Rie Takahashi as Keira Hagai
Takahashi's roles include Takagi of Karakai Jouzou no Takagi-San (Teasing Master Takagi-San), Emilia of Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Megumin of KonoSuba, Tomo Aizawa of Tomo-Chan is a Girl!, Anzu Hoshino of Romantic Killer, and Ai Hoshino of Oshi no Ko.
& Yoko Hikasa as Carmelita Fox
Hikasa's roles include Rias Gremory of High School DXD, Emilia Justina of The Devil is a Part-Timer!, Hwaryun of Tower of God, Utahime Iori of Jujutsu Kaisen, Kyoko Kirigiri of Danganronpa, and Yoh Asakura of Shaman King (2021)
Our heroines would even have a special color to always represent them in their together crossover game. Talwyn-yellow💛, Keira-pink🩷, and Carmelita-light blue🩵. (Hehe just like idol groups☺✨)
💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

This ideal PS game could also give the 3 supporting characters who are the love interests of Ratchet (Talwyn), Jak (Keira) and Sly (Carmelita) the spotlight and recognition that they should deserve to have.
My question for all of you is that if Sony were to make this happen someday in the future, then should this be canon to the PlayStationVerse?
So what do you Playstation fans think? And 1 more thing, imagine seeing the first official image looking like this:
The 3 Playstation Femme Fatales standing next to each other. Talwyn in the center, Keira in the right, and Carmelita in the left. And they happen to be wearing what look like hooded black suits that are similar to the skydiving stealth suits of Deku (Izuku Midoriya), Dynamight (Katsuki Bakugou) and Shoto (Shoto Todoroki) from the movie My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission, but only combined together with what looks like the black catsuit of Nancy Makuhari aka Miss Deep of Read or Die. Talwyn: black with yellow trim and black hoodie with yellow striped black lombax ears. Keira: black with pink trim and black hoodie with top pink/bottom black crystal horns (similar to the dark horns of Dark Eco Jak), and Carmelita: black with light blue trim and black hoodie with black raccoon tails as ears with sky blue ring stripes. Talwyn Apogee, Keira Hagai and Carmelita Fox looking like beautiful, hot, dangerous, sexy and badass Playstation ladies in the image.
Here is the post to my ideal concept for them to wear for the FINAL SHOWDOWN!
And this happens to be from my YouTube comment on a video showing PlayStation Move Heroes cutscenes. (I am TETSUSakura91)
Please share feel free to share your comments and opinions on this idea for a PlayStation crossover.
Thank you.😘

ive been thinking lately of tengen's and kenjaku's techniques being two sides of the same coin.. both of them using others' bodies to prolong their lives. this is kind of word vomit and aimless, but it makes me think about that one dialogue between mahito and kenjaku about techniques dictating their worlds... both of their goals are kind of similar too, though where tengen seeks the upholding of foundation, kenjaku seeks to unravel it. these two have so much unexplored drama. what are your thoughts ?
Oh yes there are absolutely dichotomies between their techniques, their immortality and how they use the bodies of others! So when we look at Tengen's immortality for example, it's something constant. She ages and she will eventually evolve, but her life is something immutable that will go on without her actively doing anything to uphold it. Kenjaku on the other hand has a much more fragile immortality you could say. It's tied to their current vessels and likely they would die with their vessels if they don't change again. Meaning, they have to do something to keep living, it involves their active involvement. They couldn't just lock themselves in a tree for a couple hundred years and come out as if nothing happened. They have to maintain their vessel and interact with others to keep living.
Similarly with how they use their vessels and how they react to change. When Kenjaku changes bodies they take in other people's memories, their cursed energy and to an extent their life. Of course they still hold onto their own identity, but they still use who this person was before and learn something from their experiences like how they used Geto's memories to trick Gojo or take his CT and improve upon it. Or how they take Noritoshi's resistance to the Death Painting blood with them even long after he's dead, similar to saving Kaori's CT. Or with EdoKen, they adjusted their way of living to what the body is physically capable of. If the vessel is weak, it makes Kenjaku weaker too.
Tengen on the other hand uses her vessels to resist change. Physically speaking, the Star Plasma Vessels are a reflection of her. She describes it literally as merging with herself. Riko might've had her own little life and Tengen let her have some fun, but when the merger happens, she is still just a fragment of Tengen that loses any individuality and whose experiences have no impact on Tengen. She can't even hear their voices. They might as well not exist anymore because to her they have entirely become part of her and actually were never anything more than that.
She uses the vessels to reaffirm herself and desperately turn back time to go back to what she used to be and uphold the status quo. No ambiguity, no new possibilities with what she could become, she's just sticking to what she knows. We know that all sorcerers who take over a vessel gain their memories (a little different in Kenjaku's case, since they are the only person who uses dead bodies) and usually use their memories to orient themselves better in modern times. Tengen however doesn't seem to learn anything from her vessels. Even with a vessel that's still alive like Yuki, she only really sees her as a petulant child and doesn't take her words and anger all that serious. For a long time she apparently didn't even allow her to come close to talk to her. She is on some level curious about the SPVs, what they might be saying about her, but in the end they all get dismissed because she is older and more experienced and wiser and knows it better. Same way she treats Kenjaku honestly. Not that Kenjaku is like altruistic in how they perceive their vessel's, but they are more involved than her and gain more from them than just a meatsuit.

Best Underrated Anime Group E Round 4: Shiki vs Vampire in the Garden
#E6: Shiki
Vampires and humans cannot coexist in a small town
#E8: Vampire in the Garden
Lesbian vampire & human go on road trip to escape the horrors
#E6: Shiki
youtube
Summary:
Life is idyllic and unassuming in the small town of Sotoba, a simple place where everyone knows everyone. However, tragedy strikes when Megumi Shimizu, a young girl with high aspirations, unexpectedly passes away from an unnamed illness. Over the torrid summer months, as more unexplained deaths crop up around the village, the town's doctor—Toshio Ozaki—begins to suspect that something more sinister than a mere disease is at play.
Toshio teams up with Natsuno Yuuki, an apathetic and aloof teenager, and siblings Kaori and Akira Tanaka, two of Megumi's friends, to unravel the dark mystery behind the deaths in Sotoba. With their combined efforts, the investigation leads them toward an eerie secret pertaining to the new family in the Kanemasa mansion.
Propaganda:
Shiki is a horror story about vampires. They need to feed on humans in order to live. They’re a threat to society. We’re all afraid of them. Except it’s not, actually, because Shiki is a horror story about genocide. The vampires and the village are fundamentally at odds: one cannot survive without the complete annihilation of the other. Conflict is inevitable. Conflict is completely justified, in the eyes of both groups. Conflict is still terrifying. Shiki though, is actually a horror story about human nature. You have little choice about whether you end up a human or a vampire. You, dear viewer, and capable of inflicting unimaginable violence and misery, and you will think yourself completely justified. You’re only trying to protect yourself, aren’t you?
Trigger Warnings: Cannibalism, Emotional Abuse, Genocide, Graphic Depictions of Cruelty/Violence/Gore, Self-Harm, Suicide
#E8: Vampire in the Garden
youtube
Summary:
During a winter long ago, near-immortal vampires began plaguing the world. As their population grew at an astounding rate, they promptly threw humanity off its place at the top of the food chain. Desperate to avoid extinction, the surviving humans concentrated in their last safe haven—a small city surrounded by an enormous wall. There, they have waged war against the vampires for many years.
In the midst of a particularly brutal attack by the vampires, a human soldier named Momo encounters Fiine, the queen of their enemies. After seeing her try to save Momo's best friend from a rampaging vampire, Momo follows Fiine back to her house. It is there Momo connects with Fiine over their love for music and desire to escape the fighting.
Pursuing that goal of escape, the two decide to journey toward a supposed paradise where humans and vampires coexist—despite being uncertain of its existence. However, Momo and Fiine are being targeted by both races, who they must first evade if they hope to reach their destination in one piece.
Propaganda:
This anime came out a year ago, but I literally never heard of it until earlier this summer because Netflix had it. You guys are SLEEPING on such a good series—it’s 6 episodes so it’s short, but it feels like a whole single film. The voice acting is so fun, the music slaps, the animation goes HARD during fight scenes, and it’s just so so good. The art style is pretty, and the scenery makes me lose my mind, it’s SO pretty. I need to write an essay one day about how VitG uses music to carry the story because wow that is 🛐🛐🛐 Also there’s a goofy looking dog named Connie that continuously appears and serves no purpose in the plot. Love that
Trigger Warnings: Child Abuse, Emotional Abuse, Graphic Depictions of Cruelty/Violence/Gore, Racism, Self-Harm.
Child abuse & emotional abuse for Momo’s complicated relationship with her mother. Also emotional abuse for Fine’s past traumas and current strained relationship with other vampires.
This is a vampire anime, so there’s a lot of blood and fighting. There’s also a drug introduced in ep1 that mutates a vampire horribly.
Racism is human-versus-vampire shenanigans.
Self-harm for a scene where a human attempts to feed a vampire and for drug usage as mentioned above.

A bond between dragon and rider is close. Some would say, too close.
Fandom: The Empyrean/Fourth Wing
Pairing: Violet/Tairn
Rating: Explicit
Triggers: Interspecies Romance, Interspecies Sex, Monsterfucking
AO3 Link
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
Part One
She’d known from the first moment she saw him that this was the one.
Her dragon.
The way he’d towered over her like a mountain and incinerated Tynan like the ant he was. He was powerful and vicious and hers.
She’d never seen him before that moment. Barely known of his existence outside that one lecture in Professor Kaori’s class. And yet bonding with him had felt like a piece of her soul, one she hadn’t realized was missing, suddenly slotting into place. A strange sort of kinship she’d never experienced with anyone else. Not even her beloved dead father.
My name is Taireanach, he had told her. And the name has seared itself into her heart like the mark he later branded onto her back.
“I’m Violet,” she had said.
I know.
And that had been that.
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
Tairn, she later learns, was a bit of an overprotective old man.
“I’ll never learn if you keep using magic to hold me here,” she’d said one afternoon, during flight maneuvers after he had locked her into her seat.
You can’t learn if you’re dead. He had groused back, his voice ringing through her head and into her bones.
A part of her still marveled over that. Of having someone else inside her head…all the time.
All the time.
It certainly took some getting used to. In some ways it felt a little like talking to herself…if she was a forever grumpy, yet doting, giant lizard.
I am not a lizard.
“But you are doting?” Violet said wryly.
Tairn’s only reply was a feeling of exasperation.
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
It’s Tairn who saves her from her would-be assassins.
His voice that rings through her dreams and wakes her just in time to avoid the sword meant for her neck. His quick thinking and sharp senses that help her prevail against her attackers and gain the upper hand.
And, later, it will be he who burns her last assassin without hesitation or mercy.
I will not lose another. He tells her afterwards.
She doesn’t have to ask who he means.
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
“Stop fussing.”
I am not fussing. Tairn growled. I am irritated that my human will not listen to reason.
“Your human is fine.”
You are not fine.
They’d been having this argument all day. Ever since Violet had awoken in agony Tairn had made his displeasure with her stubborn refusal to rest all too clear. He’d spent the better part of the day mentally harassing her over her life decisions as she went from class to class.
“Can we please not do this?” Violet sighed. Gods, she was tired. She’d barely slept what with the pain waking her up far too early. The sun hadn’t even been up yet. “I’m exhausted enough as it is.”
Which is why you should be resting.
Arguing with Tairn was often akin to punching a brick wall. Pointless, and left one questioning why they’d even bothered in the first place.
Your ridiculous human classes can wait. Go to sleep. Now. His voice rolled through her head with the sort of authority that demanded complete obedience. Violet shivered.
“Fine. But not because you said so.” She groused, not wanting to admit defeat.
Whatever you say Silver One.
She went to bed.
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
Violet learns many things about her dragon.
Some of them surprising.
Like just how much he loves when she strokes his scales and scratches under his great chin like an indolent cat.
Or how in the winter he will hover over her like a mother hen, pressing close to warm her with the heat of his body.
Or the way he fusses over her constantly. He is so very protective, her dragon. Always concerned with her safety. Her well-being.
He cares.
He cares so much.
Sometimes, in her guiltiest moments, she thinks he even cares for her more than her own family.
And in her even guiltier moments, she thinks perhaps she feels the same.
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
The realization didn’t happen all at once.
Violet wasn’t an idiot. The signs had always been there. In hindsight, she had probably always known she had felt this way but had refused to linger on it lest she give it form. A name.
Like infatuation.
Or love.
Whatever it was, it was wildly inappropriate. Unnatural. Wrong. Whenever these thoughts or feelings surfaced she’d hastily stuff them back down out of shame and embarrassment.
Why did she feel this way? Was there something wrong with her?
Probably, she thought to herself once, thinking about the way Tairn would loom protectively over her on the flight field, snapping at anyone who dared venture too close. The way he, this giant, powerful creature that could crush her like an ant, would lower his head to let her (and only her) stroke the scales on his nose. The way his rumbling, assertive voice would ring through her head and make her heart beat faster. He, at once, made her feel powerful and protected. Cherished and supported.
No one else had ever made her feel that way. Not even her family. Not even her father.
Of course all of these thoughts were only ones she let herself linger on when she was sure the subject in question had already gone to sleep. Better he didn’t know the depths of the depravity she indulged in during the darkest parts of the night. He didn’t need to know his rider was a degenerate who was more attracted to the sound of his voice in her head than any man she’d ever fucked.
The mere thought he might find out made her break out into a cold sweat. What would happen if he found out? It’s not like they could break the bond and he could find a new, less fucked up rider. Violet supposed he could just kill her out of disgust. Had dragons ever done that to their riders?
Well, there was a first time for everything.
Needless to say, she’d gotten very good at her mental shielding.
He could never know.
Never.
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
Things finally came to a head when her signet manifested.
Violet tried to think straight, she really did, but she was just so…worked up. Her power skittered under her skin like the very lightning she could now call upon. It made her restless, jittery…
Reckless.
And when she’d gone down to the local tavern to celebrate with her friends, well, who was she to turn down the advances of some random infantryman? It had been so very long since she’d gotten to blow off some steam. Certainly long before she’d ever bonded with Tairn. Before she’d crossed the parapet even.
She wished she could’ve said she remembered the boy’s name but…well.
He might as well have been a glorified living doll for the way that she used him. A doll whose dick she made use of to rid herself of that creeping restlessness crawling under her skin. Poor whatever his name was. Perhaps she should’ve felt guilty for so blatantly taking advantage of him, but he seemed so happy about his predicament that she didn’t let herself feel too bad.
Besides, wasn’t it basically expected of her to sleep her way through the ranks? She was only doing what everyone else expected of her. Expected of all of them.
Now If only she could focus on the human being underneath her and not…others things.
Like how riding this infantryman was so very similar to riding something else…like the heat of Tairn’s body beneath hers. Or the smoothness of his scales against her palms. Or the shocking sensation of a dive mid-flight.
And with thoughts of riding Tairn came more, like his (rightly earned) arrogance. His ever looming presence in her mind, always there to aid or comfort her. His deep, rumbling voice that always felt like it vibrated through her bones.
Violet couldn’t help the way her breath quickened as her thoughts took a decidedly…intimate turn. Pleasure skittered up her spine as the boy underneath her was almost entirely forgotten.
When she came, it was with with her dragon’s name echoing in her mind.
Tairn!
Before she had time to realize her mistake, the all too familiar specter of her dragon’s mind slipped right past her wards and nudged curiously at her own.
Silver One?
She knew he had seen too much even before she managed to slam her shields closed. She felt his surprise. His confusion.
Suddenly her orgasm made her feel dirty. As if she had done something wrong. Something shameful. And why shouldn’t she feel that way? She’d orgasmed while thinking of her dragon! And in a decidedly un-platonic sort of way.
Gods, what was wrong with her?
She didn’t even have the wherewithal to bid the infantryman goodbye before she was pulling on her clothes and storming out of the room he had rented for the night.
Gods…what was she supposed to do now?
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
She didn’t speak to him for days.
Silver One…
Her shields meant nothing to him. Every time she tried to put them up, he’d slip past them as if there were made of smoke. So she’d just resorted to ignoring him.
Which, unsurprisingly, was a very hard thing to do when a giant lizard lived inside one’s head.
You can’t avoid me forever. Flight Maneuvers are today.
Shit. Fuck. He was right.
Only a couple hours later, she found herself walking out onto the flight field as if she were trudging to her own execution. Tairn loomed large over every other dragon on the field, those golden eyes riveted to her.
She braced herself for what he would say…but nothing came.
Violet stared up at him warily.
Waiting.
He only lowered himself further to the ground so she could climb up and into place. As if this were just another flight lesson. As if nothing unusual had occurred just a few days before.
He was quiet for the rest of Flight Maneuvers.
She would’ve thought, after all the constant nagging and mental harassment that he’d be the same here (worse even). But instead there was an ominous silence from her dragon as they flew through the sky. They touched. They moved as one. But they said nothing.
It probably should’ve clued her in to what would happen next.
As soon as they landed Violet was ready to dismount and put as much distance between she and her dragon as humanly possible. However, just as her boots hit solid ground, he spoke.
Enough of this.
The finality of the words was all the warning she got before a very large scaled leg blocked her escape. A couple other riders cast nervous, confused glances their way, but otherwise kept walking back towards the school as their dragons took off into the sky…leaving her alone with her own dragon for the first time in days.
Fuck.
He’d planned this.
You left me no other choice. Tairn agreed unrepentantly.
“I’m going to be late for dinner,” she said loudly, as if there were anyone else here to hear her but the obnoxiously large dragon holding her captive.
You can eat once we’ve spoken.
Panic crawled up her spine and into her throat, choking her.
Fuck.
Fuck.
This was it. He was going to eat her. Maybe even tell her what a freak she was first. Somehow she was more terrified of the latter.
Stop that, Tairn growled. I am not going to eat you. In fact, I am insulted that you would think so little of me. I only eat those who deserve it.
And I don’t?
No. His reply was swift and vicious. Angry. Listen to me Silver One. I chose you for your bravery. Because you had the heart of a dragon…but you are not being brave now. You are being a coward.
“I’m not a coward!” Violet snapped aloud. It wasn’t like anyone else was here to witness her humiliation anyway.
What else do you call avoiding speaking to me out of fear? Out of shame? Dragons do not feel shame.
“But I’m not a dragon!”
Aren’t you? You behaved more like a dragon than those pathetic humans who attacked Andarna.
“That was different-”
It was not. I have seen much of humanity in my time and few have ever risked themselves to save a creature who looks nothing like them. You are a rarity even amongst your fellow riders. So why then should you care what your fellow man thinks? You are above them.
I’m not though, she thought. How could she be above her fellow man when there was something so clearly aberrant about her?
Tairn huffed in frustration.
Tell me, Silver One, do you think just any dragon bonds with a human?
“What does that have to do with this?”
Everything. The bond between dragon and rider is closer than any other. Closer than kin. Closer than mates. We live your lives. We hear your thoughts. We mourn your loss like the death of our own hatchling. It is the sweetest of loves. And the most painful of tragedies. Not just any dragon is willing to live such a life. Just as not just any human is willing to live it alongside them. It takes a very particular kind of dragon and a very particular kind of human to consent to that sort of partnership.
“So, what, we’re all freaks then?” Violet scowled. She was behaving like a cornered animal. In many ways, she was a cornered animal. She would rather cross the parapet again a hundred times than have this conversation.
Freaks who love too deeply perhaps, Tairn agreed, refusing to take the bait. Those who wish to share themselves in whole with another. Share their hopes. Their fears. Even their desires.
That last word made Violet’s stomach squirm and gooseflesh break out over her arms. Oh gods. He really was going to go there.
I see you Violet Sorrengail. I see every piece of you. Even the parts you don’t wish for me to see. And I accept them. I love them. So do not insult me by being ashamed of them.
“But it’s wrong,” she whispered.
And who decided that? You?
“No, but-”
I thought we agreed that you are above other humans. Their opinions are of no concern to me. To us.
“Why are you so fucking calm about this?!” She finally snapped.
Why wouldn’t I be? Dragons care little for human morals. We do as we like. You would do well to follow our example.
It was clear she wasn’t going to win this argument. Tairn was as stubborn as he was patient. And for some bizarre reason he seemed completely unconcerned over the fact that she’d fucked a man while thinking about him. Sexually. If anything, he seemed more upset over the fact that she’d been avoiding him. If he were human he would be the one avoiding her.
But I am not human. Tairn said patiently. I never will be. And I refuse to turn away from you when you show me your true self.
Violet went silent.
What could she say to that? ‘You’re wrong’? ‘You’re being a lot more understanding about this than even my own family would’?
The sun was beginning to set. She hadn’t lied before. Dinner really would be served soon. She should’ve gone back inside ages ago, but here she was stuck outside, arguing with her behemoth of a dragon about the morality of her being…attracted to him? In love with him?
“I just don’t…I don’t understand why you’re okay with this.”
You don’t need to. You just need to know that I am.
He said it like it was so simple. And, perhaps, for him it was.
She sighed. “Okay.” She was so tired.
Go rest. He nudged her towards the school as if he hadn’t been holding her hostage for the past hour. We will speak more later.
“Okay,” she said again, and left.
He didn’t take back to the sky until she was safely ensconced back within the college walls.
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
He didn’t push.
She didn’t bring it up either.
They fell so easily back into the routine of life at Basgiath that one could almost believe that their conversation from before had just…never happened.
But it had though.
And Violet couldn’t stop thinking about it.
How could she not? It wasn’t every day that a rider had weird fantasies abut their dragon and then discovered that said dragon was…fine with it? Possibly even reciprocated???
She could hardly keep her head on straight in her lessons.
“Are you alright?” Rhiannon whispered to her in Battle Brief. It had only been two days since her confrontation with Tairn but even her best friend could tell that something was…off.
“Oh, you know,” Violet said cagily. “A lot on my mind…”
Tairn snorted.
Quiet you, she hissed.
Rhiannon dropped the subject, but Violet knew for a fact that this wasn’t the end of it. Just a reprieve until she could properly corner her somewhere private.
Great.
It is no business of hers, Tairn rumbled dismissively.
Sure, but that’s not how friendship works.
This is the problem with you humans. He countered. You’re too nosey.
And you aren’t? Violet said, amused.
You are mine. She is not.
She shivered.
“Right…” she murmured under her breath.
“What was that?” Rhiannon asked, brows pinched together.
“Nothing.”
They turned back to class.
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
Something occurred to her later.
This has happened before.
Yes. Tairn confirmed, as if that weren’t world-shattering information to just casually drop in her lap.
Her mind spun. When…how?!
You seem to be laboring under the impression that you are unique. He said, almost amused. I assure you, you are not.
But…how have I never heard of this?!
Because it is no one’s business but that of a dragon and their rider. He dismissed. And, considering how you reacted before, is it any wonder you humans wouldn’t speak of such things to one another?
He had a point.
But…it has happened?
Yes.
And…is that…would you…she couldn’t bring herself to finish that sentence.
Yes.
Violet felt like all the air had been sucked out of her lungs. Like her nerve endings had been set aflame.
“…Oh,” she said. And then, again, “Oh.”
Tairn just laughed at her.
⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯◆⎯◇⎯
No matter what she did, she couldn’t get it out of her head.
Fucking.
And Tairn.
Obviously he couldn’t fuck her. The idea was beyond laughable. She barely came up to his ankle. For all she knew his dick was the same size as her.
Tairn, because of course he was always listening, seemed to find her thoughts amusing.
Two.
“What?”
I have two.
The answer was so unexpected that she nearly crashed into her bedroom door on the way out of her room.
The rest of her day she could barely concentrate on anything, his words ringing through her head on an endless loop.
“But we can’t actually…do anything…” she finally whispered to him late into the night.
Not in the usual ways, no. Tairn agreed almost immediately. Violet tried not to feel a twinge of disappointment at that. But that does not mean we cannot enjoy each other’s company.
Her face flamed bright red. She knew exactly what he meant, recalling her disastrous tryst with that faceless infantryman. How she had thought, not of him, but of Tairn as she came.
I will hide nothing from you, he said gently. Just so long as you hide nothing from me.
“It…it wouldn’t be weird?” Her voice was so quiet. Terrified someone else would hear her.
We have had this conversation already. I will not repeat myself.
“Okay…okay.”
She didn’t do anything that night. Nor the night after that. Nor even that week. But, as always, Tairn made the decision for her.
She had just lain down for the night after a particularly exhausting day, when she felt it.
Arousal.
And not her own. Instead she felt a pulsing heat across the bond followed by flashes of blue scales and the foreign feeling of sinking into something tight and hot.
Violet stopped breathing.
Tairn was…he was…oh.
Watch. He said. Feel.
And gods help her, she did.
She saw through his eyes, the fierce female who writhed underneath him. She felt the hot, slick slide of her body as he made a home inside of her. She smelled the taste of sulfur and pheromones on the air.
Her breathing sped up. She was hot. Feverish. His pleasure was her own. Heating her skin and making her shiver. Her fingers were already dipping down into her underthings before she could stop herself.
At the first brush of her fingers against her clit, she heard Tairn snarl in her head.
Yes!
He wasn’t touching her…but he might as well have been.
Her fingers circled the slippery flesh at the cleft of her as she watched her dragon fuck his companion with a ferocity and domination that left her warm and wanting.
They came together. His roar ringing through her head as his pleasure raced through her veins like fire. Satisfaction, fierce and amoral, rushed to her brain.
Good. She heard him say, his voice almost a purr. Very good.
She slept like the dead.

The next morning, Yumi woke up to clean herself up and make some breakfast for Kaori as she barely ate anything the few days prior. Kaori was just sitting at her vanity table, looking into the mirror with no expression on her once cheerful face. Yumi understood how devastated Kaori was at the loss of two important people in her life, but was determined to help her get through it. Yumi was in her bathroom, getting spare towels and cleaning up for Kaori to use when she heard a loud thud coming from her bedroom. She ran out and she could barely process what she was looking at. Kaori was laying on the floor motionless..
So I still am not sure what to write regarding where i left off in the main save of Kaori's gameplay, so I decided to delve more into her past. So expect a few random bits and pieces and as always, I'd love to hear your thoughts and read your comments.
********
I wanted to also take this time and thank my lovely mutuals especially @authorspirit @matchalovertrait @miralure @living-undead @kimorasimz for the love you guys have shown. Things don't just happen overnight, but I know I'll get there someday. Thanks for being patient with me while also showing me love. Hopefully once I'm done with my final projects, I'll spend more time on Tumblr with you all.

5 Romance Manga recommendations: Beginners Edition
Your Name
Romance, especially romance manga has a way of capturing your heart body and soul, and with so much out there it can be hard to know where to start, especially if you've never read one or you have read too many.
Romance manga can be simple and sweet, sour or savory, giving you cute and awe-inspiring stories to fill the void in your life or simply just to make you smile. Romance manga especially comes in many forms.
From high-school, to fantasy romance is everywhere. And although it may not be the raunchiest compared to our Smut, Shoujo or Yaoi counterparts, there is still a little something for everybody.
This list is a compilation filled with some of the best romance manga's I have read to date, hopefully it can be of use to you. Taiyou no Ie (13 Volumes) (53 Chapters)
Taiyou No Ie (House of the Sun)
Genre: Romance, Slice of Life, Comedy, Drama
Warning: Age-Gap romance
Taiyou No Ie (House of the Sun) is a coming of age romance.
The story follows our protagonist Mei who is suddenly faced with a difficult situation. When left with no alternative she is left with no other choice but to move in to her older childhood friends home. Along the way a budding romance begins to bud between the 2 childhood friends (Hiro & Mei).
This romance is quite extraordinary, it deals with abandonment, death and forgiveness, whilst still leaving room for the potential of new beginnings and romance to boot. it's sweet and simplistic romance between the to really is just like a ray of sunshine, bright warm and comforting.
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (11 Volumes, 44 Chapters)
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (You Lie In April)
Genre: Drama, Romance, Slice of Life, Music
You Lie in April follows the life of a young piano prodigy Kousei Arima who suddenly goes into shock at the death of his mother causing him to become tone deaf ultimately, halting his budding piano career. 2 years after the initial incident Kousei although still unable to perform, clings to music which eventually leads him to meet Kaori Miyazono, a free spirited pianist who slowly helps him get over his trauma and much more.
You Lie in April is a story about trauma, love, friendship and music and is most certainly a must read I highly recommend it!
This story whilst sweet will certainly make you shed a tear or two but it is absolutely worth it the chemistry between these two protagonists is truly heart warming to the eyes.
Akagami No Shirayuki-Hime (25 Volumes, 132 Chapters)Akagami No Shirayuki-Hime (Snow White with the Red Hair)
Genre: Romance, Drama, Fantasy
Shirayuki our protagonist is a skilled and friendly herbalist known to her local people people in her native country of Tanburin. However when placed in a uncompromising position to become the prince's concubine, it causes her to flee the country overnight. Through her escape she meets Zen Westalia a prince of the neighboring country of Clarines who is almost killed (by a poisonous red apple lol) due to Shirayuki's pursuers, despite the occurrence Shirayuki manages to save Zen and the two become unlikely friends.
Together with Zen and his two friends Kiki and Mitsuhide they travel to Clarines as Shirayuki makes plans for a new life, where she aims to become a herbalist for the royal court, whilst juggling her budding feelings for the Prince of her new home Zen.
This a modern day take on the story of Snow White, with all the roles reversed and sketched to make its own story. The budding romance between Shirayuki and Zen is nothing short of mature and sweet, just the simple interactions between the two leads makes it obvious that the two are madly in love with each other. Shirayuki is also a strong, level-headed protagonist who fights back in the face of danger, another MUST!
Ao Haru Ride (Vol 13, Chapters 53)
Ao Haru Ride (Blue Spring Ride)
Genre: Romance, Drama, Slice of Life
Among one of the most popular girls in middle school resulting in her ultimately being shunned by her other female classmates, Futaba Yoshika revamps herself in highschool as an indifferent and unfeminine female just to have "friends".
However Futaba's life takes another turn at the sudden appearance of her first love Kou Mabuchi who had disappeared during their middle school days. Despite the long absence Futaba comes to the realisation of her feelings and confesses to Kou, who coldly declines leaving Futaba shocked by his changed and negative attitude. Although Kou himself admits that the feelings were once mutual he warns her that they can not go back to the past as everything has changed including himself.
Ao Haru Ride is a bitter sweet love story, although at times cliché it still delivers in terms of romance, friendship and the necessary change needed in a to develop both protagonists in this high school love story.
Lovely Complex (Vol 17, Chapters 68)
Lovely Complex
Genre: Romance, Comedy, Slice of Life
Lovely complex follows the chaotic lives of Risa Koizumi a taller than average girl and her on/off shorter than average male nemesis Atsushi Kotani as they join forces in order to pursue their love interests, unfortunately the plan does not go to plan as their crushes end up falling for each other, causing the two to form an unlikely bond that leads to friendship, rivalry and possibly love?
Lovely complex is a cult classic known to many romance and shoujo fans, catering to both female and male readers with its romantic but funny comedic troupes. Staying true to it's name it focuses on the issues, that protagonists must face because of their heights and uncanny childish similarities often causing them to rely on one another for help and assistance during their time of need. This unique and funny love story will certainly make you blush for one reason or another.

Our Hero Academy
Chapter 5 - Eraser Head
Prev. Chapter
Pairing: Shota Aizawa x female OC
Genre: Shota Aizawa X female OC fluff, angst, high school romance, friends to lovers
Words: 4.3k
Summary: 15 years ago, Eraser Head was starting his hero studies with his best friends Hizashi and Oboro. Contrary to what people think, his teenage years in the U.A. were bright and lovely, filled with the laughter of his best friends and his girlfriend's unconditional love. What happened over the years? What changed him into a gloomy sensei?
Extra note: You can totally picture Y/N in the OC female name, it's just that it'd be cute to read Aizawa calling her pet names. 🤍
Once again, thanks to @merrymonkey for illustrating this story. I love you, girl! 🥰
Chapter 5 - Eraser Head
The girl demonstrated why she quickly earned the title of number one student; sadly, she was still too young, and she still lacked training. Aware of the grenade, she got up and propelled herself with the energy she managed to manipulate from the wind, she got as close as she could to the bomb. In a fraction of a second, Kaori reactivated her quirk and managed to convert part of the explosion's energy to one through which she got to put her friends to safety by launching them several meters away.
As expected, Kaori was not able to take all the heat and the shock wave of the bomb, so the four of them ended up receiving an impact that, for a few minutes, prevented them from standing up. However, her work had been truly heroic, she had saved them and many civilians and had considerably lessened the impact of the bomb.
Hizashi and Oboro had been thrown in one direction, while she and Aizawa in another. The first two had minor burns and bruises that didn't turn out to be serious, though it took them some time to get back on their feet and understand that they were surrounded by the ruins of the school, fires, and leaks. It would not be simple to get out of there unscathed and they had to do it quickly, they didn't know how the other two were. Ideally, Oboro would have blown them out of there, but he and Kaori had practically exhausted all their energy rescuing the children. Therefore, they had no choice but to try to get out without using their quirks.
Meanwhile, when Aizawa regained consciousness and was able to see through all the dust, he started looking for his friends, he had no idea if they were close or if they were even alive. Soon, he glimpsed a body lying unconscious on the ground.
"Kaori!" He exclaimed as he saw her pink hair. Driven by the fear of not knowing if she was still alive, Aizawa ignored his injuries and ran toward her. "Kaori, wake up!" He begged taking her in his arms without realizing that his hands and his whole body trembled uncontrollably as a consequence of his fear.
Seeing Kaori's face covered in blood and the painful position of her right arm made him despair, and even more so when he noticed the wounds on her chest and abdomen. Her shirt had burned, exposing all the cuts and burns.
"Kaori, please wake up!" He continued imploring her to no avail. Thus, he took off his coat to be able to cover her and get her out.
However, when Aizawa tried to do it, he saw her back and noticed that, in addition to more cuts, she had a huge scar, but there was no time to wonder what had happened to her. The area where they were was especially dangerous, one false step and they would be trapped in rubble, in addition to the imminent threat of a building collapsing in flames.
On top of that, Aizawa was sure that the guy who threw the grenade wasn't alone; that is, sooner or later they would run into the villains. For the first time, it was becoming impossible for him to remain calm. With each step, he looked at his friend and continued to confirm the delicate state in which she was. In addition to what he could see with the naked eye, he suspected that Kaori had internal bleeding and broken ribs. The young hero didn't know how much energy she had managed to convert and how much had directly impacted her body. What would happen if he was not able to take her to some hospital on time? A hospital! They didn't even have one around!
As a result of his hasty and desperate steps, Aizawa was about to fall into an area where the sidewalk had been destroyed and there were giant holes. His strong jolt made Kaori, still unconscious, let out a slight moan.
"Sorry, Sorry! I'll get you out of here, I promise." He said hugging her tighter so he could continue protecting her.
Aizawa's mind was in so many places at once that he missed a villain approaching them. When he noticed, the guy who had thrown the grenade was a few steps away.
“How honorable! A young hero trying to save his girlfriend when he can't even save himself!"
"Stay away" warned Aizawa ready to fight.
Shota knew that he had everything to lose, the guy looked like a powerful villain, enough to be able to remove enormous rubble from his path as if it were the simplest thing, a delicate kick was enough to move them away. To make matters worse, Aizawa understood as soon as he saw him with a grenade in his hand that his quirk was creation.
Before the criminal could create any other weapon, Aizawa activated his erasure preventing the man to depend on anything else but his physical strength.
"Shit! Even without his quirk, I'm not worthy of being his rival." You'd have to be an idiot to imagine that a sixteen-year-old boy could take on a man twice his height and muscle mass. "I can't escape either, a mistake, a jolt, or even hitting something would be dangerous for Kaori."
Aware that he could not expose the girl any further, Aizawa moved away from the villain and laid Kaori down on the floor again so that he could face the villain. He had to survive, he had to fight even though his legs were shaking. For no reason would he let her friend be touched.
While he was trying to analyze the situation and find a way to get out of there alive, he heard her voice calling him.
“Shota…” With a lot of effort, she had opened her eyes and got a clue of what was happening.
"Kaori, you're awake!"
"Get out of here, quickly."
"No." He said with such conviction that no one would doubt his word.
"He's getting closer, please get out of here." She was so terrified that her eyes were all glassy.
"Listen to me," He asked cupping her face between his hands. "We're gonna get out of here together, I promise. Just trust me, Kari" His way of calling her made her smile just a little, but the concern was too much to handle. "You already did your part, it's my turn."
Before walking away from her, he gave her a slight smile, barely noticeable, but confident and even tender, he wanted her to trust him.
She could never forget when the villain rushed up and kicked Aizawa with brutal force. The girl tried to get to her feet and help him, but the pain in her chest had her immobilized. Yet, Shota didn't give up so easily and got up again. His immense determination allowed him on multiple occasions to keep fighting on even after suffering significant and painful injuries from his training.
"As strong as he is, he’s an idiot." The boy thought when he saw that the man had hit a building that was about to collapse.
Maybe he could control the situation... they weren't rivals in physical strength, but in intellect, Shota was on a level that the criminal could never even dream of reaching.
Analyzing the situation, Aizawa was aware that pro heroes were coming, but who knows when. Moreover, ensnaring his opponent with his binding cloth would be impossible due to the man's huskiness. Also, it was the first time he would be forced to use his erasure for so long, he did not know if his eyes would bare the dryness of not blinking. Anyways, his well-being was far beyond his priorities, he needed to immobilize the villain or escape from him so he could take Kaori to a hospital.
While he was trying to come up with a plan, the enemy kept attacking, but the training with the boys paid off. Aizawa was much faster than he was before, and he was surprisingly agile, so he could dodge most blows without much difficulty. Yet, when he received them, Aizawa needed some seconds to put himself together, which gave the enemy time to continue wounding him. Realistically, his only chance was to rely on the buildings' rubble to immobilize the villain, if he blinked, if he allowed him to regain his quirk, he and Kaori would be dead.
The burning in his eyes was terrible, he had never had them drier and he was sure that one of the blows had fractured a few ribs, but he kept fighting. Aizawa saw that the villain was getting tired, but so was he, and a second blow to his ribs made him fall to his knees and close his eyes for a moment.
"Shit!"
The villain was so close that a few steps would be enough for the kick to hit Aizawa directly in his chest. Besides, letting the villain recover his quirk for those seconds allowed him to create a blade with which he planned to kill the young student.
For her part, Kaori had grabbed what was left of a wall to stand up. She narrowly escaped her lips with a groan of pain, but she had to be silent if she wanted to give Aizawa a hand. One of the energies that gave her the most work was the one that was generated from the movement of a person, she could manipulate it, yes, but to do so she had to use a lot of her own, and that always put her at a disadvantage. Just as Aizawa refused to stop fighting, neither did she. Kaori was aware that she was pushing her body to the limit, she had just a little energy remaining in her body, and at any moment she would collapse again, leaving her body incapable of healing itself. Yet she needed to try again, at least one last time, to help Shota.
As the villain started running towards the young hero, Kaori activated her quirk and turning the guy's movement into unbearable heat for him, pinned him down, and giving Aizawa time to react.
"What are you doing? You can't stand up!" He exclaimed coming to her side and grabbing her by the shoulders before she collapsed.
As much as Aizawa tried to ignore his own injuries, his vision was already beginning to blur from the pain, plus when he tried to lift his friend, he ended up coughing up blood.
"Shota, stop." She asked with her face soaked in tears to see him so hurt and trying to help her.
Suddenly, the same look of panic Shota had when he caught a glimpse of the guy about to throw the grenade took over the girl's face as she observed that at least five more villains were approaching them. There was no way for the young couple to fight them, they barely managed to stand on their feet.
"I still have some energy left, I can get you out of here." She said taking his hand.
"Kaori, don't you dare." He warned her with a broken voice, he knew what she was capable of to keep him safe.
"We can't escape from here together, Shota."
"Kaori, I won't forgive you if you... Kaori!" He exclaimed noticing how his feet were lifted off the ground by the girl's quirk; however, no matter how much she wanted, she couldn't do anything else, just that small effort made her lose her balance again. "Why the hell don't you understand that I'm not leaving you here?!" Shota asked in her ear as he hugged her against his chest so she wouldn't fall.
Using the proximity, Shota brought his hand to the girl's wrist to check her. The result left him cold, Kaori wouldn't last long like that, or rather, there was no way Aizawa would have enough time to take her to a hospital. Realizing that was enough to break the boy, who took her face and looking into her eyes, prevented her from continuing to use her quirk. Kaori noticed the red in the irises of his eyes, but also the tears falling down his cheeks.
"You can't do this to me," he said with a trembling voice. "You have to hold on a little longer, please, Kari, I beg you."
Pushing his body to the limit, Aizawa lifted her once more willing to run from there. He really doubted he would make it that far, but he couldn't just wait for the villains to catch them. In his desperation, the young hero ran only with his eyes on the ground so as not to fall. Suddenly, he was unable to take another step due to the scorching heat that surrounded the entire area and a huge arm holding him from falling on his face.
"Easy, kiddos, you've done enough."
The last thing Kaori could see before passing out was blazing flames engulfing everything around, Endeavor had arrived. The pro heroes were already there, Oboro and Hizashi had helped them to find their friends.
Several hours had passed since the professional heroes arrived and finished taking care of the situation. The four students were taken to the nearest hospital to be treated immediately. Despite there were doctors with healing quirks that allowed Hizashi, Oboro, and Aizawa to recover faster, Kaori's injuries were much more serious; hence they had to bring in Recovery Girl. And even so, Kaori would not recover quickly, Recovery Girl's quirk depended on each person's healing process and Kaori's state was pitiful, there was very little energy left in her that would allow her to speed up her recovery. In fact, the heroine's worried face remained for a long time.
"She will be fine, right?" Oboro asked Hizashi in a low voice, one day had passed and Kaori showed no signs of waking up.
The blond guy nodded to his friend, but he couldn’t say much, worry was also killing him. "Kaori's impressively strong, she just needs a little time."
Although the three boys knew that they were alive because of what their friend had done and it was natural for them to feel guilty, Aizawa did not process what had happened. He had said a few words to Hizashi and Oboro, but once they entered the hospital, the black-haired student hadn't said anything, he had just sat next to the girl's bed.
"Wake up..." A horrible pressure on his chest hadn't left him since he had seen her laying on the floor after absorbing the bomb's impact.
Night fell and with it, a cool breeze forced Kaori to instinctively look for the blanket, but when she tried to do so, her right arm hurt, she tried to turn around and then the pain was even greater, making her open her eyes. She tried to straighten up, but the pain increased.
Finally, Aizawa's voice was heard in the room as he rose to gently hold her. "Don't move, you're still hurt."
"Shota!" She exclaimed. "Why are you using bandages?" She asked still very confused until memories started to appear.
“Kari, you woke up! Oboro, go find Recovery Girl to come to check her out." Hizashi said looking serious, something that NEVER happened. "How do you feel, gorgeous?" Hizashi asked as Aizawa sported a look of anguish.
"Kind of dizzy."
"You and Shota broke several ribs," Hizashi explained.
"I'm sorry…" She said lowering her face. “Did I hurt you guys when I took you away from the bomb?”
"Kari, if it wasn't for you, that bomb would have killed us." Said the blond with a sad smile. “You need to rest, your body's very hurt. Recovery Girl did what she could, but you need to rest."
The girl nodded and trying to move a little, her whole body ached, something that her two friends didn't go through.
“Where the hell is Oboro?! I'm going to go find Recovery Girl myself." Hizashi exclaimed storming out.
Kaori noticed Aizawa's eyes too irritated, she had never seen them like that. But besides that, his look was so gloomy that he worried her because he made her imagine that something serious had happened.
"Shota, what's up?"
The boy clenched his fists and bit his lower lip, he was afraid that if he spoke, his voice would break, he was still too affected by having seen the girl so badly. “You were close to dying. Don't expose yourself like that again."
"You did it too, I saw you. You couldn't take it anymore and you kept fighting. You were very brave." Perhaps because of the sedatives they had given her, the girl acted without much thought, and bringing her left hand to Aizawa's cheek, she caressed it and then pushed back a lock of hair to get a better look at his eyes. “They’re very irritated, you've never used your quirk for so long. I'm sorry, I promise I won't act anymore without listening to you."
"Fuck it, Kaori!" Aizawa closed his eyes and the girl felt in her hand his tears. "Fuck it! I don't care! You almost died in my arms! Shit, Kaori, I'm so angry with you! Do you have any idea how scared I was of losing you?! And then you come and don't wake up no matter how many times I asked you to open your eyes!"
"Shota..." She softly called, yet he continued without looking at her. "Shota" She called a second time, this time grabbing delicately his chin and caressing his cheek. Aizawa looked at her, but the tears continued falling. "I'm here, I'm okay."
Straightening up little by little, Kaori managed to sit up. Her broken ribs still hurt her, her body still resented the impact of the bomb, but none of that was enough to stop her. Finally, she was close to Aizawa and her beautiful green eyes could see his gray ones. Despite seeing him upset and seeing him cry, she couldn't help but give him a sweet smile, one that could only be given by someone who truly loved him.
"I'm so happy you're safe."
"Kari, I'm serious!" That time, he talked softly due to the proximity. "You tried to push me away when I was trying to take care of you. Why are you so stubborn?"
The last thing was barely a whisper, he had closed his eyes again and for a few moments, he just enjoyed the warmth of the girl's hand on his face. He automatically moved his head a little, exactly like a cat looking for affection, something that made her smile. But not only he had been scared. Kaori had been willing more than once to do anything as long as Shota escaped unscathed. Now, seeing him next to her and safe, broke her strong spirit, and just as it happened to the boy, she relived how traumatizing it all had been.
"Shota, hug me."
The shy boy didn't think twice and bringing her body closer to him, very careful not to hurt her, he hugged her. There was no point in arguing anymore, his friend was safe. His heart no longer felt tight, it was beating normal again, or rather, it was beating non-stop again, as it always did when the girl was close to him.
"I'm so sorry, but I thought we wouldn't get out of there alive. That's why I tried to push you away. I was terrified." While Aizawa listened to her, he tried to comfort her by stroking her back, but Kaori kept crying. "You're headstrong too! You didn't listen to anything I said."
"I listened to everything you said, I always do" Aizawa let her weep some more, but he didn't want her to get agitated, so placing his hand behind her neck, and then moving it to her face, he tried to soothe her.
"I don't want to see the guys in danger again, much less you."
"We don't want anything to happen to you either, that's why we'll keep training, so you won't have to risk like you did."
"Your eyes have never been so irritated." Aizawa couldn't help but smiled noticing the girl's pout as she gently passed her thumbs near his eyes.
"Then, you have no option but to get well soon. I need a hand with the eye drops."
If it hadn't been for the medicines and because her pain still had her destabilized, she would have seen how flushed the boy's cheeks were.
“You were amazing today.” The more she talked, the more tired she sounded, even her eyes were beginning to close again.
"Me? You got us out of that explosion and never stopped helping me."
“I told you we'd be a good team.”
After a deep sigh, the boy looked at Kaori's lovely face. Even looking tired after such a fight he continued seeing her as the most stunning girl. “Next time they won't hurt you like this, I promise. I'm gonna train harder."
Despite being exhausted, Kaori heard him and gave him one more smile before going back to sleep.
Meanwhile, outside, Oboro and Hizashi were holding Recovery Girl's gown so that she wouldn't enter. The old woman had already hit them with her cane but they insisted on holding her back.
"Please wait a little longer!" Oboro asked.
"Shota’s very shy, it's the first time he talks so much, give him a little more time!" Hizashi now said looking from the window at his friends.
"Enough!" She ordered hitting them a little harder and finally going inside. "Everyone, go rest. Aizawa, you shouldn't even be here, you have four fractured ribs, go to bed NOW. And you, Yamada, and Shirakumo, you two better disappear before I can actually kill you." Hearing the old woman so angry awoke Kaori and made her giggle. "Hoshino, darling, I bet you want to sleep, but I must check you first. Let me tell you, you're built differently. That kind heart of yours gave a tough fight. I was worried about you. Luckily, this young boy took care of you and Endeavor brought you to the hospital quickly. That rarely happens, he focuses on resolving cases, not on treating victims."
"Endeavor?" Kaori asked looking at her friends and remembering some flames.
"Part of Endeavor's crew took care of the situation. It wasn't that simple, though. The villains were so freaking strong that some pro heroes needed to come to the hospital too." Oboro explained.
"Endeavor knocked out some of them before taking you here." Aizawa said.
"Thank heavens it was Endeavor the hero who attended the situation, just he or All Might would have enough time to bring you here. But, enough chatting, you're recovering well, but you must stay in bed for more days. Don't make me repeat myself, kids, get out."
The next morning when Kaori opened her eyes again, she noticed Aizawa already by her side. He had fallen asleep on the couch next to her bed. Suddenly, the door was flung open and Oboro and Hizashi entered, it was impossible to separate those four.
Of course, they did not count on the fact that the director of the U.A. and their homeroom teacher would arrive shortly after. Both heroes had been there since the night before; however, they had not properly spoken to the students because they were giving them time to recover or at least be aware of what they had done. From the moment both adults entered, the four friends knew that they were not bringing good news. As a penalty for exposing themselves the way they did, they were suspended from the sports festival and had their provisional hero licenses withheld for the remainder of the school year. They were only not expelled because the number of civilians they rescued was staggering, in addition to the enormous bravery they had shown.
"Besides, be thankful to Endeavor, we bumped into him and he told us it was because of you four that the civilians survived." Said their homeroom teacher.
"The words of an elite hero like him matter to us," explained the director. "But even so, you needed to respect and follow protocols. We were ready to expel you from the U.A., but incredible as it may seem, Endeavor interceded for you. According to him, you showed more courage and professionalism than numerous pro heroes he had worked with before."
"Don't smile" The homeroom said to Oboro while hitting him on his head. "You're still in some big problems."
“Sensei,” Kaori called. "I understand that we should get disciplinary actions, but it wasn't Shota's idea."
"That's right, we forced him to go, he tried to warn us many times," Hizashi added.
"To tell the truth, he was the one who tried to contact the professional heroes or the police, but we didn't give him time," Oboro said.
“That wasn't so, I”
"Quiet, Aizawa." Said the homeroom teacher. “I can bet they're telling the truth. That way of acting, jumping into action without thinking first isn't like you. That's why you can participate in the festival, but we're going to retain the license for a while, not as long as those of your friends.”
"But…"
“You'll compete in the festival without your friends and the discussion’s over."
For his part, the director nodded and then focused on the girl. “Hoshino, you'll finish your recovery in the academy infirmary. Also, you're prohibited from going out on weekends until further notice. You live under our protection, what happened to you is the responsibility of the school and as such we extend an apology to your parents. Until your teacher considers that you’ve learned the lesson of not exposing yourself, forget about leaving the campus.”
"Yes, sir." The girl responded extremely discouraged.
