i'm always the first in line to make fun of ran but honestly i never found the scene where he's closing izana and kakucho's eyes funny LOL it was sooooo sweet i liked his character at that point but that was the thing that made me really 🥺🥺 at him... the realization that tenjiku did, in fact, think of izana as a friend and he died not knowing that... the fact that mr "i don't need a team bc i'm better than everyone" spoke honestly about how he respected them but didn't have the chance to say it to them... ran being the only one who paid his respects is so special to me the silliness of the retrospect will not make me think it's embarrassing
