A Guide to playing GnR Mermaids - shit post

(Explaining why we do this so some of you dont look at me weirdly:

My friend and I haven’t seen eachother in years, and before I went away I was also obsessed with gnr and we did this, so it’s really just bringing back nostalgia)

- in the pool(ofc) - 2 people edition

- my storyline change it however you please

Preparation:

- figure out your love interests

- 2 each

- you will be playing each-others love interests

- the member left is the clinically insane one that will make plot points ( will be in-love with both of you to make things interesting)

- aswell as make a phrase that they never stop saying

-( we chose Axl for this one and not sharing our secret phrase 🤫)

- figure out how you’re going to style your hair to show different characters

(if you dont got hair improvise)

-( for this, an example we did:

Axl: use hair as mustache

Slash: flip hair up underwater so you look like George Washington

Duff: hair up at the back, like using a claw clip.

Izzy: hair down to the side like a braid

Steven: hair fully to the side like an emo style )

- next choose your colour tails obv

- next chose your powers, including the guys

-( For this we did:

Axl: Fire

Slash: Nature

Duff: Air

Izzy: Darkness

Steven: Light ) (we actually forgot we did this part)

- lastly choose your spawning point, is it a specific oceanic place in real life, or just a simple lagoon, ect.

-( we chose Cape Town)

Chapters will now be very specific to our story line

Chapter 1:

- You spawn in

- Go to a bar/ club ect.

- make up an excuse to separate

- Whoever’s love interest is Slash, the other person has to now be in character.

- Slash comes to flirt with said person

- add details, like why he’s here, and that he’s in a band ect.

- he gives you his (shellphone) number

- friend comes back, chat about it

- other friend goes to do something

- clinically insane character comes along - say the most outrageous shit - doesnt matter how much you retaliate he keeps coming back

- tries to get your number (you can choose if you give it to him or force him to give to your so you never text him.)

- he leaves somehow

- friend comes back, talk about outrageous man, ect

- just keep rotating through meeting characters and setting up dates for when to meet up.

(- clinically insane bitch likes both of you so have fun with that as you will)

- when the insane one is in scene, maybe ask and point to one of your love interests asking for their numbers and he makes an excuse to why you shouldn’t do that

-(example:

Friend - “ That blonde one over there is in your band, can I have his number?”

Insane - “ uhh he’s actually gonna die tonight cus he got this infectious disease so don’t go near him.”) (sumthing to that extent)

- i don’t remember the rest just have fun and do whatever

- make the insane guy get arrested for funzies (optional)

Chapter 2:

- next day

- find out insane one has escaped jail ( optional ) (ALL ARRESTS ARE OPTIONAL THIS WAS SPECIFIC TO US)

- bump into different characters, all love interests asking to meet at the same time. At their crib

- (example: my interests were Izzy and Duff

- Izzy: “okay 3pm my place”

-*later*

- Duff: “Ive been looking for you, heres chocolate and flowers, wanna come to my place at 3?”

-someone: “thank you, but Izzy already asked me”

- izzy and duff live together

- “nah izzy wont mind.” )

- Insane one shows up running from the police

- him ready looking like he finna kill whoever gave the chocolates, flowers /ect.

- says sum deranged stuff

- (example:

“Insane: “you haven’t texted me yet *looks at you with my crazy eyes*

Someone: “uhh, my dog ate my phone but the cover with my credit card is still intact”

Insane: “oh okay, because I have you as my pfp.”

Someone: “huh?!

Insane: “Yeah it’s your perfect hair, no split end in sight.”

*later*

Someone: “oh my lord he has me as his pfp”

The other one: “ARENT THOSE YOUR BEDSHEETS IN THE BACKROUND???”

- then pick a movie or something, (we chose Hamilton)

- do a house tour, his room has photos of you in but you didn’t see

Someone: “Izzy is supposed to be here, should we not go get him”

Duff: -makes excuses but you get him to take you to the room-

Duff: * unlocks door* * gets yelled at by Izzy* *Izzy drags him inside and runs out of his room locking the door*

Izzy: “Don’t worry about him, he’s like a baby, he needs a nap every few seconds”

- watch some of the movie

- make some moves

- ( we did that Izzy asked them to be his bae but you dont have to do that)

-( also they apparently fucked for 10 hours CUS MY FRIEND SAID *10 hours later* after they went to a room)

Someone: *opens the door for Duff*

Duff: *traumatised at the noises he’s heard*

- we made Duff Izzy and them a throuple

- but Izzy said to think about it and say the next morning. )

- after your adventures go home to your friend

- run into the house and start boarding the windows and doors with wooden planks because the insane one was chasing after you.

- call your baes to look after you cus the police can’t do their job

- he does get arrested tho (again)

- insane one in prison calling one of you

- you thinking its your bae and saying some coupley stuff or whatever but make sure it’s directed at one of your interests

i am resigning as a homestuck fan

i am taking this title, and i have decided that it no longer fits me. i no longer have the same intrigue and interest in homestuck as i used to. and to be honest, despite how short in the grand scheme of it all that ive been a homestuck fan (8-9 months) when i first got into it, i was a much more rude and annoying person, and i think its better to leave that past, not forget, but keep it in its place. a memory, one remembered so i dont make the same mistakes as i used to. and the homestuck community, while you guys are all great, i dont have the same connection with it as i do with other fandom communities. i am no longer a homestuck fan, i was one, im an ex-homestuck fan. though i will not forget homestuck, because if you forget the past, you are destined to make the same mistakes as you used to. now im not saying homestuck is bad, its prettu funny, and i commend hussie for having the balls to even try to pull off the shit he did. andrew is a person who is rightfully hated, but you cannot deny he brought forth a lot of things we may take for granted. but, my time with HS is over now. does this mean ill stop doing anything homestuck related? am i going to change my pfp? will i throw away my equius cosplay? no, in fact, i may still indulge in homestuck chicanery time to time bc of my friends, and i would never ditch the equius cosplay, hell i might even do a full blown actual equius cosplay at some point, key word maybe. and to my dearest friends, do not worry, i will remain, and i will still indulge in wacky antics, our fantrolls will still remain and persist. i am simply relinquishing my role as a homestuck fan. there are many more worlds for out there for me to explore. to all you homestuck fans, i look at all of you with approval and hope, hope that you find joy in the things that you love, hope that you let no one ruin it for you. anyways, story/rant time

there was one time where I was going through something a bit rough in terms of my relationship with someone. for some reason, idk what I'd hoped to achieve, I wanted to reset my online identity. and at the time the idea of using "metamorphosis" in my user name came to mind. I think it was something relating to personal change, trying to change my mannerisms with the identity or something. In the end, I never fully went through with it.

At some point, I realised that basically everyone that knew my main username could quickly find my twitter account. Didn't like that. Made a secondary, that was a priv at time of creation. I made the name recognizable, but not find-able, so only people I interacted with on the account would find it. Then I decided to make a tumblr to get off twitter. Didn't want to be recognizable or searchable for it, so I decided to name it something different. This concept of metamorphosis came back, and I wanted to include it. so I brainstormed for a bit, taking a little inspiration from Entomologists by ghost+pals, and settled with sticking "delta" to the beginning because it sounds cool.

to me, this URL means freedom. the ability to experiment and be cringe with less judgment. like putting pan flag centura pfp and putting she/her in bio.

hi ana, is it okay if i dump and unload a problem here in your asks, ive been feeling really conflicted about something and i need advice for it. ;-;

Back in december last year, i matched w a guy on bumble and we really hit it off we started texting everyday and it evolved into discord calls every night, but until now we've only managed to meet once due to covid restrictions and it was with our friends (turns out we have mutual friends and it became a friend gathering but even then he had to do some work because he had a client meeting so he had to have the meeting somewhere else before joining us again) but after that he drove an hour to send me home because we were stuck in traffic. I was really happy back then with how our relationship was progressing.

But now we've known each other for half a year but its not progressing anywhere because we can't meet up to really get to know e/o, we've not even really had a proper date yet because lockdown in my country sucks ass. And both of us are not going to ask e/o to progress the relationship because of it. These days I've started feeling really tired because i feel like it's never gonna go anywhere. I've started waiting before replying his messages and I've made excuses to not call him every night because i feel so exhausted.

But this is the guy who doesn't mind that I have an obsession with k-pop, he even sent me the BTS meal when it was first released in my country. He was genuinely worried for me when i told him I didn't feel because of my period. All my friends really like him too but i feel so guilty right now because i feel like im losing feelings for him because we cant progress, he's putting so much effort into this relationship but i still cant meet him halfway these days.

I feel like a fucking horrible person because someone is treating me so well and i cant appreciate them. This is also the first serious committed "relationship"???? I've had,,,, I'm 20 rn and I've only had a boyfriend who dumped me after 3 weeks because he hooked up with a senior so I'm also terrified of making another mistake. I'm in my final semester of college and he's 24 and working so our priorities are totally different, he's been so understanding when i rant about my problems. I've really started to feel like I dont deserve him. I want to let it go but I cant because i feel so guilty about it. When I first made my blog I was way more active in cosplaying and also at the same time I was obsessed with an anime about lesbian space pirates so I just combined the name and that what ive been using on pretty much any social media site.

I have a post pinned on my blog that lists the names of each blog but i do have a couple of side blogs tho the most active ones im on are my kpop side blog and a blog i have for darker aesthics/occasional venting. (Though I try hard not to vent much cus i know it can trigger others. Everthing is always tagged of course)
