while i always heard tales of Tree's destructive oto, I never fully grasped it as a reality like I knew people said it could crash UTAU but i was like. how can an oto crash UTAU. but now as im working on my shitty cicada voicebank I. I understand. I understand now what a badly programmed oto can do..................

#i have attempted to oto something before (years ago i tried making a speak and spell bank inspired by another user who did it)#(i never finished because i was struggled with the -a sounds and honestly at the time my sample choices for certain phonemes weren't great)#(maybe someday i'll go back to it and redo parts. maybe someday) and that went fine like certain phonemes sounded bad BUT #it never had any engine glitches. but my cicada...... she is demolishing this software <3 #IT MIGHT be also partially because im doing this in openutau and vlabeler instead of true utau. i may have to switch #but ive been too lazy to make a vm with a japanese locale to use original utau so i still havent LOL
