What if Joel goes to sit with Tommy, Maria and Ellie at the dinning hall and Ellie gets all worked up and gets up and goes all toddler like angry and gets to another table. Joel sighs and both Tommy and Maria are puzzled, turns out Ellie has been having medical lessons at school.

One of those classes was about dealing with the aftermath of stab wounds, and Ellie has been repeatingly asking him to let her do them, because Joel had none of the required treatments that they learned about and what if something still can go wrong, and Joel had been refusing telling her he's fine. But now Ellie has gone nonverbal with him.

Maria is in awe of her and Tommy is amused asf, the next day they sit together again, turns out Joel is not as strong as he thought, he buckled to her will, but now gets examined every now and then unfortunately.
