Can someone explain to me why the hell we learn more about Una in like the 0.005 seconds she's on board Discovery than we do in the first season of SNW????
#actually it's probably an even tie but like what the HELL snw writers jfc#the hot sauce? the favors? the shady shit to get information? the snark? the fact that she knows Pike THAT well and is smug about it?#I'm MAD ABOUT IT#I would say this show has a lot of the same problems as snw (lack of characterization#lack of character development lack of character depth just lack of character anything#and way too much reliance on trauma as characterization which it is NOT thank you)#so I definitely wouldn't say it's better by any means but at least the scene Una is in and the scene where Pike and Burnham are talking#about her gave us more information???#so this is a one off example as something they did better imo#but it underscores how poorly snw is performing with characterization on any of their characters but PARTICULARLY her#(because she's never fucking in the show but)#jo watches discovery#jo watches snw
