idk just very jarring to see people who have preached positivity and celebrating subcultures dunking on some guy just because he's got "cringey" hobbies. like i scrolled through his blog and he looks like a goofy magician in that pic because he's playing a character, and he's advertising sexy thanos because that's the show his queer burlesque group is currently running?

disappointing, is all.

I seem to have cubital tunnel syndrome which means if I bend my right arm up the side of my right hand starts to tingle and I start getting pain in it so I have to keep it straight as much as possible. please think of all the things you have to do that involves bending your arm and imagine how annoying my life is right now

You guys ever just dig up a wackass obscure show that looks like it might be cool, try to watch it, vacillate wildly on whether or not you hate the art style, get annoyed with how grading the dialogue is, try to look it up to see the reviews and whether or not it gets any better, realize it's actually a reboot of an old 70's anime, attempt to watch the original because the reboot is fucking incomprehensible without context and then become immediately enthralled because the show objectively is very, very crusty and kind of bad but it's bad in specific ways that put your brain in a chokehold because they were Going For Something you can kinda fuck with even though the execution is awkward and kinda flop?

It's 2am, I'm delirious and these robot designs got me confused and intrigued.

#the show was called casshern sins btw #the original series its a reboot of was called neo human casshern #i dont actually know if its particularly obscure but i had never heard of it until i saw it while scrolling imdb #it does not seem to grasp the concept of show dont tell #but man were some of those artistic choices fucky in a way i can get behind

something in dghda i noticed (especially in s2) is that when dirks clearly upset todd comforts him but not with physical means

#dghda #i mean i ignore that in fics but i actually like that detail #like todds pretty emotionally clumsy #but he has a sister (and other family) with pararibulitis that makes sensory input kinda fucky #he spent two months with farah who imo doesnt come across as someone who likes touch #he has pararibulitis so his own sensory input is fucky (plus it seems most his attacks are triggered by emotional response to me?)#so i wonder if todd picked up that dirk absolutely does not wanna be touched when hes upset #ok self projection here but dirk is def someone who gets sensory overload very easily (especially that scene in 2x04- i felt that so bad)#idk its interesting that todd is careful with touching dirk when hes upset #ironically i hc todd has being a touch person like someone pls hold his goddamn hand

ive been "doing it scared" /postiive about a lot recently, so much that i might actually play tf2 against real people .....
