I was thinking, even though I haven't finished EoW yet, that it would be really terrible if Aurora(AoL) and Echo(EoW) were the same people. like maybe the rifts fucked up hyrule so bad after she finished her adventure and maybe smth happened either years after or just as her journey ended that sent her into that slumber. Maybe the two are connected

Just think of the ANGST

Especially if Echo joins the chain or smth and Hyrule sees her and realizes that she is Aurora. Or they go to his hyrule and meet Dawn + Aurora

Is the luckiest when it comes to getting lost or anything to do with "natural" things

Like he heard u rlly like this one fruit? Accidentally gets lost all day and panics all the Links + You until he shows up at midnight with a shirtful of them

Likes learning little skills from other people, like learning how to do makeup from Legend, or how to spot collections of rupees the Minish have left somewhere from Four, or how walk on any terrain from Wind (good at walking on a ship, on land, climbing etc)

Your art is really nice, but I feel like it doesnt really... resemble zelda? It kinda looks like an oc in zelda's universe or someone in her outfit, but something about the drawing's feature's just don't remind me of zelda. I'm not trying be rude, just offering a friendly critique. It's also not the skin color btw, maybe the hair is throwing me off a lil? I'm most used to seeing her w the braid on the top of her head. Or just the fact that her hair is now dark? It's rlly good art tho

First of all, I did not ask for your critique, anon. Secondly, while I appreciate your other compliments of my artwork, my Zelda is not supposed to resemble "other Zeldas." She is unique in and of herself, but she is still Zelda. I do find your comment a tad rude, mainly because I was not showing her in hopes of criticism but I was allowing you all a view of what she is intended to look like in my future comic. It is rather disheartening as well, seeing as you are judging her on her hairstyle rather than the rest of her design. She's biracial, meaning she is half black and half white. Her hair is a blend of both hair types, thus more naturally curly. I hope you will respect my choice of ethnic background for this character, and come to understand that I will not be changing her.

As for her attire, my Legend of Zelda story takes place in a Hyrule with major influences of Scottish culture and Celtic lore. Tartan is a respectable fabric among Scottish, and I find it fitting for the story.

my homeworks done. time to talk about zelda in botw

so like. shes The Most developed chara i think we hav ever had in a loz game right. the memories did such a good job of her characterization cuz u can rlly easily see that shes just a teen with a huge burden put on her- shes forced into the sacred princess archetype by her father (& whole kingdom to an extent) despite the fact that she has never actually fit into that role. literally all the memories present zelda w a wild personality thats far better suited to researching sheikah technology and Strategically defeating calamity ganon, just like everyone else. the sacred princess has to devote her life 2 prayer and all their power comes from divinity.... which. isnt zelda at all lol. shes amazingly clever and capable without divine intervention

but even so like, she behaves herself when shes forced to pray every minute of her life for 10 years? she wasnt Allowed the time to mourn her mother. since the age of what, 6? shes been pressured into being a delicate divine being shes not suited to. and it never works for her! she is so devoted to that duty but her powers never awaken! and u can tell its INCREDIBLY frustrating for her. like link shows up and can just Do his duty, the master sword loves him and to her, it looks like he never once had to work to be the hero. she hates him for that until she sees the effort he puts in and the stress hes under to the point of muteness... she doesnt resent him for doing what she cant, but shes certainly still angry with herself, and she talks to him abt your born duty vs what your true calling is (this is memory 11 btw)

and the biggest dilemma in her character arc... memory 16. Everything pretty much goes to hell because the guardians and divine beasts r corrupted, hyrule basically gets fucked. and zelda says word-for-word that she feels like it’s “all her fault”. and honestly can anyone blame her for feeling like that??? the one saving grace in this situation would have been the power of the gods, which was zeldas job to awaken, but she just never could. she tried so hard but she could never do it, and because of that all of her friends, family and most of the kingdom just. died. link still 100% supports her, but that doesnt stop her from feeling like all that destruction was on her.

it all relates back to the silent princess metaphor; it cant be domesticated and only flourishes in the wild

the big issue with botw’s plot is that it creates this fantastically developed character. zelda has a personality, she has worries, fears and hopes. shes put through this horrible situation and is made to feel like she caused the destruction of the entirety of hyrule.... but this is never actually resolved? memory 17 shows zelda Finally awakening this sacred power on her own accord. as the guardians gang up on her & a dying link her INSTINCTIVE fight response and the extremity of her emotions in that moment cause her 2 harness the gods’ power... which was wonderful to see, but that moment alone doesnt make up for an entire life of self-hatred and neglect. i mean, she saved link in that moment but he died literally seconds after. also the entire kingdom is still destroyed. memory 17 shows her succumbing to her duty from the prophecy, but doesnt account at all for that natural calling to engineering she has. that wasnt a resolution for zelda, and the ending doesnt really add any input.

as absolutely in love with botw as i am, i cant say the game gives any satisfaction for players who have watched zeldas battle with herself and the circumstances around her. her character isnt resolved at all. she has her personal issues shown perfectly, and a dilemma is put onto her, but the dilemma is solved without her original battle with herself. and without that i really dont think botws story can be applauded

BOTW SHEIKAH TOWERS: RANKED BY HOW HOT THEY ARE

this is. not a good ranking. but surprisingly there r some very sexy towers so whaddya know 👀

the starting point,,,, the og,,,, the great plateau tower! this tower is a pretty easy climb, tho the whole like... almost killing u and sending rocks flying everywhere n shit is :(( lots of footholds look nice and all the water surrounding it is pretty. not to mention this is the tower u can climb and see ALL of hyrule on so its definitely good 6/10 not the sexiest tower but it has a lot to offer. i believe in it

the fact its on the other side of a huge fuckoff river that i always die trying to swim across makes the dueling peaks tower really piss me off but it looks rlly pretty next to it. still, its like. not a hard climb, but if u fall off ur basically fucked. the nearby bokoblin camp also makes me want to chug bleach so! 4/10 its hard to live up to the great plateau tower and frankly its not doing a good job of it. cringe tower next to the fail river

ok look. its normally not that bad! but i did the hateno tower for the first time whilst i was off my ass on malibu and my god did i have a bad time. the thorns,,, the lack of stamina,,, and im not exactly a tactical player either, so. ruined the tower for me a bit. its very aesthetic sitting up on the hill tho very nice very neat. very majestic. 5/10 thorns are sexy but not when you’re drunk :(

ill be honest i dont remember much of akkala citadel tower aside from the fact it was guardian central and i only climbed it literally after i beat ganon LMAO. truly its the chad of all towers. but sitting on the very top of the citadel,,,, surrounded by all the nice trees,,, it looks like it rlly belongs there. the malice at the bottom doesnt even look good tho. sorry dude who said this was the sexiest tower- its not :( 7/10 everyone tough until the trees start beeping

u know what i rlly like eldin tower. its kinda cozy lookin in the rock and the volcano in the background is pleasantly menacing. its abt as far as u can go without getting crispy, so its one hot ass tower. its got guts. ambition. its a tower i can respect. 5/10 not perfect but a cute addition. shes doing her best.

now THIS is a sexy tower excuse the poor quality image BUT wow,,,, woodland tower,,, this tower could be on fire and breaking down and it would still look hot. even tho its standing in a monster camp it rlly rocks it. the skull on the top,,,, this tower is the goth of all the towers, especially since its so close to hyrule castle. 8/10 this tower likes 2 accessorize

the hebra tower is VERY pretty,,, the blue rlly matches the snow everywhere so u know the tower has good colour coordination,,,,all the ice at the bottom is also cute. annoying but cute. very prim. its like the tsundere of towers. 9/10 chilly until u get 2 know her,,,

,,,,, well. i like it, at least. all the ruins around it rlly brings out its, uh ... malice. and in fairness they offer a quick way up there so this towers got backup plans for u. it cares for u. tabantha tower may be covered in malice but it makes it look Good. it rocks it. it works. 6/10 you did your best considering the circumstances

gerudo tower,,, its by far one of the sexiest. it just descends into the ground forever. the open space around it. the spiral mountain. the few and far between footholds. kass sitting on top. i like everything about this tower. visually, that is. climbing it is an absolute ballache of a chore. but its worth it,,,, for this tower,,, 9/10 if i could marry a tower,,, i probably wouldnt marry this one. good try tho.

hebra tower is hard to beat but central tower doesnt actually look That bad. the footholds that go all spirally up look rlly nice, and all the ruins around it is tres good. u get to see everything from the centre of hyrule which is rlly nice positioning. the guardians? hm. rlly ruin the atmos. it sits there and looks rlly pretty for when u get off the plateau and then BANG guardian laser. betrayal. i love u,,, but i can never forgive u,,, 6/10  this thing probably has laser marks all over it but hey just think of it as sexy battle scars,,,

hh i dont even remember this one tbh but i think its the lake tower and thats like. in faron. shows how much i care about it. if i remember right it keeps raining when i try and climb this tower so. i have a bias. i think its average tbh. the rainforest around it is SUPER nice until lit everything tries 2 kill u so. its a safe haven in a dangerous forest. it means well. 4/10 sweet but not hot. stop getting me struck by lightning.

this is one windy bitch! the wasteland tower! the footholds r all up at the top which is kind of a look but its surrounded by a swamp which,,, hm. not the sexiest choice. if i was trying to attract someone i probably wouldnt sit in a puddle of shit but u do u boo. 5/10 it looks nice on the top of a mountain but the functionality is dogshit
