every headcanon you possibly have about two? i am so normal about him

Ooh, the biggest one I can think of rn is when they were younger, Two really looked up to One. You can read more about that here :)

Ummmmm, some other ones: Two picks up a smoking habit, he's more prone to being allergic to stuff because of all the substances he puts in his body because he was trying to fix himself, he's more prone to getting sick for the same reason, ofc the headcanons revolving around his fondness for plants and insects (he's most definitely built little teeny tiny houses for his bugs).

This one kind of goes for both of them. I don't remember if I talked about it before or not so I'll just talk about it again. When they were younger, the twins had a really hard time sleeping separately. Even though they had separate rooms and Draxum expected them to sleep in their own rooms, they couldn't sleep alone so they wind up sharing a room and it's a habit that sticks with them well up until Smart Lair. So now that One is gone, Two has a lot more trouble sleeping and puts more focus into work.

There's another thing here (towards the end) that explains the difference between One and Two's morals. If you don't want to look for it, I'll just copy and paste it here:

(One) At a certain age, Draxum started pulling One away for “special” training, which was basically Drax getting One to get used to taking lives, starting with small animals. At first, One had a really hard time pushing through and whenever he finally got the job done, he’d feel really guilty afterwards

He’d cry and Drax would ask him why and would say that crying about it is pointless and it won't help him.

I had this very specific idea of Draxum pulling One away from Two when they were playing + having fun then having One accomplish this task probably for the 2nd or third time and One coming back to Two covered in blood, absolutely numbed and hollow, which kind of puts a wedge between them.

By the time Draxum puts One in the nexus, One’s already sorta used to that feeling and it’s not such a big deal— but I was thinking the nexus is maybe what makes One think that killing is acceptable because when he kills he gets rewarded and maybe it’s also what makes him realize what his purpose is— and ofc Draxum’s already been feeding him that but when One is fighting in the arena, he actually gets what Draxum means ab their purpose or whatever about being warriors and stuff bc he knows he can fight and that he can kill and that he’s good at it and that’s what makes Draxum happy

and I just think this is very interesting bc this implies that, initially, One knew what he was doing was morally wrong and he could feel it but bc he was encouraged to kill and wasn’t punished for it, his viewpoint kinda got skewed

(Two) And in Two's case, he started to kill either after One fights in the nexus or he sees One kill one of the animals bc he sees his brother doing this and thinks “oh, yeah. I can do that” but because he wasn’t taught the difference between what he should destroy and what he should protect, that’s kind of why he’s Like That. And it's why Draxum fears/doesn't trust him like he trusts One.

Ooh, that's a fun ask. Association with color is a very cool way to think about characters.

But yeah, sure, no problem! I'll see what I can do.

Pre Milo I think would have a yellow color. If you scroll down in my asks you'll see the one I usually use for him (before I can't find it in tumblr again for some reason).

Manipulation has a blue color.

Violence has a red color.

Eris I imagine either has a black or purple color.

Valli is Pink, since in her original design she tends to have a lot of pink in her top.

Seph is a golden color, I imagine.

Desmond is a brown color, sort of autumny, but not quite orange.

Ryan is probably some sort of Silver.

Poison (the gang member you see) is likely a purple, much like her name.

True Milo is probably some incomprehensible color that humans can't see (aka, shirmp color) but it's probably something that's between blue and red that it jumps back and forth from.

Hmm, I think that's all of them! In the extras, I think Iya (Desmond's girlfriend) will be a light blue color as well, since that's how I made her highlight color in her original work. It's either that or that kind of cottage core brown to match Desmond.

Ooh! I’ve had this snippet sitting in my files for a while. I basically flipped on a random word generator as a writing exercise, and the word I got was "journal." Sooo this came to be in the finite time I had during my lunch break! No real start or end, just a puzzle piece in between.

The next page, the last one, was titled Seph. 

I really lucked out. Not the kind of luck where it doesn't rain when it said it would, or when you go and win a poker game. Or maybe it's not luck and just how things turned out. It doesn't matter much, anyways. Meeting him was one of the best things to ever happen to me. After everything with Modeoheim, after Angeal died... I didn't know what to do. I had no one to turn to. There were the guys, sure, and Aerith did everything in her power to help... but none of them could really understand. Seph did, though. He knew Angeal just as well as I did. He cared with all his heart.

The thing was I was super bitter at the time... I kinda hated Seph's guts to be frank. I'm sure he hated mine too. One night though, I was all alone in my place... and Seph came to visit, just to drop off some papers (the guy is never not working, I'm serious). Anyway, he saw me with this photo of Angeal... saw me crying too. I didn't really want him there--but at the same time I couldn't find the strength to tell him to leave. I think he knew that I needed him though, because then, Seph pulled me into a hug and didn't let me go until I fell asleep. It's a little embarrassing thinking back on it, to be frank... Anyway. after that, well, I couldn't be mad anymore. I understood. Seph sent me on those missions... but he didn't mean it. He was hurting inside. He didn't wanna hurt his friends, no more than I did. And I also learned a whole lot more about him after.

Seph is kind, and funny, and the most loyal guy you'll ever get to meet. He doesn't smile much, but when he does, even though his mouth's always closed, it's one of the best things there is. I once thought he was spoiled, but I couldn't be more far from wrong; Seph doesn't flaunt anything he has. He doesn't even want most of the things, or the fame, or all that fancy attention. He seems to appreciate the small, tiny things in life, so I'll always make sure he has them: snacks, plushes, a walk... a friend. I'll always make sure he has a buddy. That's my goal--no, a promise--and I won't let anything break it

I don't know what I'd ever do without him. I'd prolly never be able to be Me--not really, not after everything. Seph let's me be Me. I ... love him so much.

(He even drools a little in his sleep, but don't tell him shhhh)

- I understood what you meant about the part I thought I didn't understand in the rain fic! Ugh every time I read that fic I just wanna give him the biggest hug my poor baby... Their dynamic in that fic is so "it's rotten work" 'not to me, not if it's you' I'm screaming and sobbing about it 😭🥹😍

Hello Secret Santa!! I'm sorry for the late reply, today I had a really important and difficult final and I studied all week hahah but it all went well! I got a good grade and I'm in a really good humor rn ;) it's nice seeing the results of your hard work. Hope you're doing well too!!!

Yeah I feel summer Christmas is a really missed opportunity for sure. In the case of my country (and, for what I know, most of south america) most people have reunions with either their nuclear or extended families (in my case it's the latter bc my family is pretty big and close) and eat dinner together, we open the presents at 12 and then stay hanging out till 2 o 3am. My grandma has a big front yard so we put a pair of long tables and seats over the grass. Lately we've been going to my aunt's instead, who has a pool ;)

In general it's a really family oriented and relaxed holiday, but I think it's a cultural thing rather than a southern hemisphere thing. I really don't know how they celebrate in Australia and New Zealand for example :p now I'm curious...

Oww I feel the struggle, living in a place that doesn't have snow can be a bummer sometimes. Winter here feels very gray without it :( but it is what it is....

Yuppp I've written a looooot of papers throughout the career and I still have to keep writing them 😅 they never end, but I was the one that signed up for this so I can't complain much. Hmm to be honest I kinda jumped into this career bc I love reading and I was a dumb 17yo who didn't think much ahead (bad. bad thing to to) but now I would love to work as a text corrector for publishing companies!! But also any kind of job involving libraries is good for me for the time being, I'm not a very ambitious person really. I know the most common path for lit people is teaching but I don't think that's a good match for me, at least not for now. Maybe someday.....

Hahahahah don't worry about it! Despite me loving to read I'm also really slow at reading manga. And I usually only do it when I really liked the anime adaptation to begin with. I think the only one where I started reading the manga first was Spy x family (and now it got an anime and blew up)

I honestly haven't thought about shounen being my favorite genre but I think it's true 🤔 I honestly didn't realize the grand majority of anime I mentioned was shounen LMAO but yeah I tend to like it a lot, specially the less formulaic ones. Aww I'm glad you also love FMAB and Haikyuu :') Yamaguchi's journey was lovely to watch and what cemented him as my fav was how easy it was for me to connect with him! I was also shy and a big pushover in school and I had to learn how to get out of my shell and stand up for myself, just like him. Thanks for the compliment also, Uno reverse card at that 💕

Usually my favorite color palettes are ones with cold colors! Purple is my favorite color in all its shades (but mostly lighter ones) and I love how it goes with blues and greens! I def prefer the more pastel shades in general. Lately I've also been more attracted to warmer colors like yellows and soft oranges, but lilacs and lavenders will always be my favorites 💟

I'll start with Jake cause it's kinda the easiest. I love him commiting to playing fighter meatheads. chase your bliss dude. I do think he should take a look at a rune knight since he's planning to play a giant fighter but an echo knight would also be super fun!

I absolutely agree abt bard caldwell! I talked in the past abt how I think it would be a great fit for him both mechanically as a really versatile support class and roleplay wise since it allows for a lot of jinx and combines the type of rhymes and mini songs caldwell loves pulling out. I also think college of Valor is an underrated bard subclass and I would love to see caldwell play it! the whole idea of a robot that's in like. a military band is v fun and creative as well. I also really like the idea of him being a little frog druid, however that character idea feels a little too aesthetic based? obviously he'll develop it if he actually goes for it but idk it doesn't feel like it has a lot more going for it other than "a little frog guy" rn. the barbarian idea is okay but like. idk barbarian as a class always feels a little meh to me since I don't love tanking so I don't super care for it y'know.

when it comes to emily... I understand where wanting to see sorc emily comes from cause it would be fun and I love sorcerers but I have to agree with what Emily said on one of the last hearthsides chat abt the subclasses being kinda lackluster (at least mechanically speaking). shadow sorcerer is kinda fun but would feel repetitive since they essentially gave moonshine its main feature, the only sorcerer I would really be interested in seeing played in this campaign would be clockwork soul. I personally would honestly love to see another wizard I think... wizards can feel so different based on which spells you choose and they allow her so much creativity with spells which is what emily's all about. I already talked in the past abt how I think she would play an awesome conjuration wizard due to her consistently brilliant usage of summoning an teleporting spells, but I would also really love to see her play a bladesinger or a scribes wizard. bladsinging would allow for that versitality emily loves in her characters where she can do a lot of things both using melee and spellcasting and flavorwise it works really well for a fae character. when it comes to order of scribes I just think it's a really cool subclass tbh, I kinda wanna play it myself, plus it'll work for ezry being kinda the center of magic learning after gladeholm left the material plane.

Honestly is what I love the most. Tempted to send this or shorter (and prob nicer lol) version of this to hollyhomburg but they haven't replied to my ask on agreeing about the "manipulative" mc thing so idk hm. (They do seem to be answering more asks recently though wow)

Thoughts on this ask and the stuff I say further down?

Tbf I misunderstood Jimin with his last secret. Update: I think I don't dislike him anymore after getting to understand how he handles self-hatred. It's so sad TT I stil think Jimin and mc need to talk about it more for Jimin's sake and have some 1-on-1 bonding to fully resolve this issue for me though. They've felt awkward and distant since Tae's secret came out imo. We get Yoongi and Tae in the next ch though yay!! Sad that not every relationship is happy and romantic rn. But it's realistic that some relationships are slower to develop than others. And hollyhomburg would prob struggle to write a bunch of relationship developments at the same time. People (including me lol) need to be patient. and trust in the love and care the pack has for each other.

And the mc being "manipulative" part is instinctual to her according to hollyhomburg. It's understandable that people feel confused or interpreted it wrongly. But mc is a precious lil baby. I don't think it's bad that she is "manipulative" by acting cute and appealing to the alpha's instincts. Both sides are happy when she's being cute and lovely. (Did I interept this right??) And she doesn't have any ulterior motives at any point of the fic imo. Hollyhomburg also said this and that most of it is just how Jimin sees it. Jimin is just a paranoid boy :/

And Yoongi is a sweet boy. And Yoongi and mc went through some TRAUMA. (the trauma and how it affects them was written so well. how can you not understand and love these 2 omg) YOONGI HAS BEEN WORKING FOR MONTHS (AND STILL IS WORKING) ON MAKING A PERFECT CUSTOM COMFY HOUSE FOR ALL OF THEM! ACTS OF SERVICE KING. And there is so much explained in the fic about these two compared to Jimin and the other boys. I will only agree that Yoongi seems distant to the other boys and it's kinda sad. But I believe that they all love and care for each other. And the relationship between Yoongi and the boys will slowly develop into a happy, loving relationship again.

Was I too harsh on this anon? (I may have gotten too emotional idk. I am very protective over irl and bily Yoongi as well as bily mc so yeah lol. Hollyhomburg wrote all of bily pack to be so precious but I love these two even more) This anon seems so dumb to totally not understand how mc and Yoongi think...Only excuse I'll give is if they don't understand abo, mating mark, polyamory, and love in fics omg... i think that maybe they haven’t grasped the fact that like real people, the characters holly has written are more than just surface level, black and white emotions like a lot of stories show— they’ve taken time to delicately craft each of their characters in BILY

i think that holly has done well with the pacing of all the relationships, and it’s come off very realistic of what a poly relationship would look like from my understanding. not everyone is gonna fall head-first into love, it’s not always going to linear and i think that this series has shown that everyone falls in love in different ways and for different reasons. that emotions are complicated, the selfishness that comes with thinking about people you love while giving so much without maybe their understanding

from what i get, the m/c being manipulative comes from survival instinct, that maybe even she isn’t aware that she’s doing it, it’s something that kind of just happened, a habit that she can’t break. old habits die hard and i don’t think her initial intent is malicious in any way i think she’s honestly just scared and from what’s happened to her in the past i think she’s just trying to protect herself. i think for jimin, he knows where she was before the pack, he knows the people she was associated with and it’s only fair that he’s paranoid when they’re both very very good at masking emotions and turning a blind eye to things that maybe shouldn’t be brushed over. i’d assume that jimin is also aware that if she really did want to harm any of the pack for whatever reason she probably would have done so by now (i think it’s just his love for tae that has his skepticism spiked)

in the reply to that ask holly worded yoongi’s thought process and actions very well. maybe the person that sent in the ask hasn’t experienced any sort of past trauma themselves and therefore glazed over the complexity of emotions after such a traumatic event? idk the original ask came off a little tone death like they hadn’t considered each of the characters and their individual perspectives and past trauma

in yoongi’s defense he lost contact with the rest of the pack to protect them from his family, and i think naturally, even if you love someone a lot, a loss of contact for months is gonna put a standstill in the relationship, like the m/c, yoongi has been through so so much and like holly explains there’s always been slight favoritism, it was always, and will always be tae and jimin, just like jin and namjoon. sure the m/c and yoongi were thrusted into a relationship with doom hanging over them but there was love, and as much as yoongi loved the pack he’d learnt to love another even if their situation hadn’t been the most ideal. and as much as the m/c was reserved at the start, meeting the pack i think yoongi is slowly learning to love all of them again even if he already knows how, i think it’s about him finding comfort in a place where everything could still be somewhat uncertain

i don’t think he’s wrong either for the slight jealousy he feels, he probably felt like a hero, a pretty shitty one but having just the two of them survive for so long as suddenly your soulmate is being bombarded with 6 times the love than he was giving must be hard for him. and as holly explained it’s jealousy in the sense he’s scared he won’t be useful anymore and just :( poor yoongs, i’m glad they’re spending more time together now i love yoongi x m/c content

i think maybe that the anon had only surface level view of the story, maybe hadn’t thought about it from a new perspective, either the author’s, or the characters in the book, or read other people’s thoughts and feelings and similar experiences to those in the story or they themselves haven’t experienced anything that could help them sympathize with these characters, having a very black and white perspective of complex characters and emotions
