I like big books and I cannot lie 🎶

some books I gave recently grabbed from the library.

I liked and wanna buy Do I Have To Wear Black? Lots of good info in there on funerary customs. I wasn't sure I was gonna like it because of the Wicca mentions at first but I was actually pleasantly surprised as I got into it. I sort of blew through it tbh because I'm not super interested in like the Kemetic or Wiccan customs, just the Norse/ heathen and Hellenic, but the very general parts at the beginning were really informative. Mortellus is a mortician and 100% definitely knows what in the heck they're talking about.

I skimmed through the Thrifty Witch book and Tarot Interactions before bringing them back because those I just need to have/ buy. I need to buy those. Thrifty Witch would definitely be more useful to me as a resource than something to read if that makes sense.

and similarly with Tarot Interactions, that is an absolutely fantastic excellent book from what I read of it, and I definitely absolutely need to have that as a resource. I also feel like that's something I wanna take my time with, not rush.

Werewolf Magick was meh. I soared through it. I was rolling my eyes at far too much of it to take any of it seriously, and by the time I got to what I was interested in/ what might have helped, couldn't understand it because of all the weird lingo/ jargon that he'd set up at the beginning. Admittedly that's my own fault obviously for trying to skip to the end, but the first part just made me cringe too much. There's too much mixing of different practices in a way that imo honors none of them, and then mixing it with crap like Wicca to boot. I just... no, I'm good, no thank you. I had gotten it out of curiosity, expecting it to not be much and... yeah, it was what I expected.

Witch Queens, Voodoo Spirits, & Hoodoo has been fantastic so far and I have got to finish it. I started it and got distracted and it went back on the shelf and I've gotta get back into it. It starts with Annie Christmas who is none of the things mentioned on the cover, lol, but I love the way it talks about our local myths and legends. Absolutely A+ 100% yes.

Weave the Liminal is... surprisingly better than I expected so far? I'm not quite sure what to make of it. We'll see as we go.

I've had the ones in that first three pictures checked out for a while and I really need to get to them. I was hoping the Shamanism Bible would give me some words to look up, a good place to start research into that but it feels like too much of a chore. The charm bag and ancestor books I just keep forgetting I have, and I expected the New Orleans one to be a quick read but again keep forgetting it's there.

Did I grab too many books? Yes, every damn time. I have maxed out how many I can borrow from the library. Oooops. xD

I absolutely had to grab The Holy Wild Grimoire though when I saw it on the shelf because that has been on my wishlist for a while and I love checking out books before buying them. I feel much better about purchasing when I already know I like them.

I know it's not like full-on face but she looks like that. I canonically made Lily's witch wife 6'9 tall where Lily is like 5'6. Also wifey's name is Sydney. WARNING! LONG-ASS LORE!!! I made Sydney a visitor of Fortuna when she was 5 and Lily was 4. Sydney's parents weren't religious but her mother, who's also a witch, did admire Sparda for yk saving the world. Lily is really introverted and shy when meeting Sydney due to how terrible the orphanage treated her and Nero, but Sydney absolutely adores this tiny girl and hangs around her until the day her parents leave the island. I have too much Lily lore to talk about but basically, Lily gets saved one day after being experimented on for her demon blood cuz her tail (lookin' just like her daddy's) showed way earlier on than Nero's arm, laik at around 6 years old. Her soon-to-be new demon dads were on the island, and she gets saved by the two, of whom I named Inferno (Farin, human name) and Mandrake. Her new papa and dad stayed above surface inspired by Sparda (mostly cuz they were former slaves of Mundus and hated him). She's grateful to be saved but being taken away by the two means she splits from her brother, which she hates. Turns out though, her new dads live in the countryside far from Fortuna, like way away from the island, near Sydney's parents, so she gets to grow up with her best friend, they start dating at 13 and 14, marry at 18 and 19 (because I made Lily's dads disappear like Sparda oooops, she panics and is afraid of losing her gf so proposes) and then the events of dmc4 happen, Sydney gets kidnapped by The Order to lure Lily back to Fortuna as they want to continue experimenting on her, and poor Sydney gets killed. And then Lily goes batshit crazy, triggers for the first time, killing a bunch of the cultists that killed her wife. She's reunited with Nero but there's some tension because he felt abandoned. What a mess sorry omg. Oh Lily, i'm so sorry I keeled your wife o(╥﹏╥)o, she's fuckin' gorgeous to meee.

the younger took out a lengthy purple feather, waving it around yongbok’s face. “isn’t it obvious? i’m a doctor!” he brushed the feather along the australian’s neck. “except the staff doesn’t trust me with real doctor tools, so they told me i had to be a tickle doctor instead.” the blonde flinched at the tickly feeling, scrunching his shoulders up and wriggling away. “so… you know what that means, right~” seungmin carefully pushed the older down onto the linoleum floor, pinning his hands to his chest.

“wait, this isn’t fair! get off of me!” felix began to struggle when the vocalist got comfortable on his hips.

the brunet lifted said boy’s shirt, slowly and agonizingly lowering the tool down. “not fair? this is just payback for that massage you gave me!” the vocalist twirled the tip of the feather into yongbok’s belly button, relishing in the scream of laughter it produced.

“ahahahah! stahahap, it tickles!”

“this is nothing. you wanna see what really tickles?”

the deep voiced boy was a nervous wreck, but nonetheless intrigued. “w-what? i can handle it!”

he really couldn’t.

seungmin shrugged. “if you say so.” and with that, jeongin was bouncing into the room at the call of his name. “just hold his arms up. make sure he can’t get away.” the boy motioned to felix’s helpless body.

“oh, you’re doing that,” the maknae took the australian’s arms, pinning them above his head. he cooed at the attempted glare shot at him.

the blonde shivered. “what are you even gonna do!?” blood rushed up to his cheeks and he turned his head to avoid their gaze.

“hm…” seungmin tapped a finger on yongbok’s side, giggling when the older broke into a tiny, anticipated smile. “can you handle… your ribs being counted?”

at those words, felix felt his stomach churn in a tingly manner as he tugged at his restrained limbs. “pleasepleaseplease! don’t do this!”

“now you’re begging?” the attacker whipped the feather back out, scratching the hard end on yongbok’s lowest rib. “one~” he teased.

“nohonohonohohoho!!” the older giggled hysterically when seungmin dug the same end of the feather into the crevice before moving onto his second rib. “plehehehease, it’s reheheheheheally ticklihish!” he arched his back when the boy abandoned his tickle tool, instead using his nails to claw at felix’s third rib. the australian arched his back reflexively, only causing his ribs to protrude which never failed in prompting seungmin to dig into the clearest one. the older crashed back down every time.

“come on! really laugh for me yongbok!” the younger whined. he ducked his head down, blowing the longest raspberry he could muster on the boy’s top few ribs.

that drove him crazy.

“sto—OOOOP! KIM SEHEHEHEHEUNGMIHIHIHIN!!” felix’s laughter silenced soon after, leaving him a thrashing, flustered, ticklish mess on the ground.

jeongin released the blonde’s hands and, after a bit of nibbling (which drove the australian crazy), seungmin let up before the older actually went insane.

“don’t even try and get me back, you deserved this!”

“mhm…” yongbok replied tiredly. if he knew one thing it was that kim seungmin would not be getting away with this…

Let's meet my favorite kdrama cursed prince - Muhyul as portrayed by Song Il Gook in The Kingdom of the Winds

Or more specifically, this very long-ass post is my attempt to convince people to watch this ridiculously underrated 2008 sageuk.

Why? Is it politics? Complicated families, cursed destinies, battles, or more hurt/comfort than you can want? Nope, none of these. I have my priorities straight and it's official. Muhyul/Yeon is one of my favorite period OTPs.

Take one Cursed Prince (who does not know he is one, and is brought up as a slave), add in one capable Enemy Princess who saves his life, add in ninjas (yes I know ninjas are Japanese but I have no idea what the Korean equivalent term is and I am too lazy to type in secret assassins every time), poisonings, intrigues, and a lot of hurt/comfort and we are set!

Once upon a time, there lived a man named Muhyul. He was only a slave but what he did not know was that he was actually a Prince who was given away by his family at birth because he was cursed to kill his whole family, people he loved, and to top it off, to destroy his country. Despite it all, he was still super-hot.

In the enemy nation of Buyeo, there lived a Princess named Yeon, who was ladylike, kind, a skilled healer....also a deadly ninja.

Point 1: Heal captured slaves from torture. One day they might be the Crown Prince.

Muhyul first sees Yeon after he has been horrendously tortured by Buyeo troops. He opens his eyes to see a heavenly vision quite competently stitching him up, so to speak. It is love at first sight for Muhyul. And who could blame him. He knows that with the director's troubling penchant for h/c, he will need a hottie healer around.

Point 2: "Heal a hottie and he is yours for life"

Muhyul spends some free time drawing her portrait. Without knowing who she is or if he will see her again. If the whole slave/assassin/king thing doesn't work out, he can always make money as an artist.

Point 3: "It's not stalking when he's hot!"

Muhyul is on an undercover mission in the enemy country but he forgets everything when he sees Yeon walking by (btw, he assumes she is just a commoner doctor). I love how he sort of stops thinking of anything else at all.

And then he thinks of her at night...

And lo and behond, their paths cross again when she heals a slave in the house he is staying in.

And he introduces himself to her and she is totally mesmerized. Who can blame her, it's freaking Song Il Gook!

And "rescues" her from evil Byueo soldiers. Only, oooops, they were sent by her family as escort and she is piiiiiiiiissed!

"Why did she slap me, whyyyyyy?"

Still, be happy, boy! Despite it all, she bailed you out of jail for assaulting the Royal Guards :)

Awwww, Muhyul doesn't want to leave...

Point 4: You know what makes anything better? Torture and homicidal angst

Did I mention the part where Yeon's Dad runs an Evil Assassin camp where they experiment on slaves with poisons and torture them? You see where this is going? If you do, then you have the mindset of both the writer of this drama and myself.

Muhyul gets captured by them (after losing the only person he ever regarded as family, but that would drag us into plot and this post is about the shippy):

And tortured for a solid year. If he ever marries Yeon, that might make for an awkward family Thanksgiving. "So, how are you, son?" "Well, I almost regained the use of my arms!"

Anyway, Yeon is visiting Daddy and sees some slave being taken out, after they have tried poisons on him. It's Muhyul, so it's Yeon to the rescue! Man, no wonder he loves her - it's self-preservation on his part!

And then Muhyul is drafted by evil assassins (long plotty reason) with the only alternative more torture. The training is psychotic and gets Muhyul near-broken utterly but as a side benefit, makes him even more hot. If now mildly psychotic. As you can probably figure out by the end of the drama he's so hot he's a supernova

Also, as I posted earlier, gorgeous armored men on their knees looking up at their OTP who is teaching them foreign language (because Yeon is an Evil Assassin trainer for daddy) and thinking of the fact that they are a slave and she is a Princess (which is something he found out only in the ninja camp) is pretty high on the list of my favorite things.

Plus, Yeon takes him out for fresh air and exercise that doesn't involve being hung upside down and being ordered to off oneself. Score! She even makes him smile.

Summer thrift haul ☀️

This are two thrift hauls combined! Two weeks ago I picked up my friend after work to go eat at the new location of a very delicious Vietnamese place. They're all vegan and the food is superb!! I worked early shift on that day and had time to kill before picking up my friend from her workplace, so I looked what I could do in the meantime. Like it was meant to be a new thrift store had also opened very close to my friends work place!! It was so hot on that day and they even had air con (very rare here). And I found two gorgeous skirts and a purple tshirt.

Actually had to fish the purple shirt out of my laundry basket to take a detail of the gorgeous neckline decoration because I've already worn it multiple times!! (Also could include one picture of me wearing it recently in an outfit). I've also already worn the reddish/pink floral skirt as a dress. The whole outfit I'm wearing with the dress is also thrifted!! Have a second outfit pic here too!

The second black skirt of that thrift haul from a couple weeks ago currently doesn't fit me bbbbbbut how could I leave it behind??? It's way too gorgeous!! The colours and the pattern and the black lace!! I'll make it bigger and even more gorgeous! Just you wait!

Yesterday I went to check out the "end of summer sale" at my two closest thriftstores and found 3 pretty things at both!

First one I got the big shoulder bag. It gives me very artsy vibes with it's woven texture! I also like the toggle closure. Unfortunately one of the straps is fraying, so I'll have to fix that soon. The second lil bag/pouch was just too adorable to leave behind. It's crocheted from dark brown thread with sparkly beads on top. Speaks to my inner moth!! I'm drawn to sparkly things. Just had to have it!! Last thing from the first thrift store yesterday was the black shrug/cardigan (very left corner in the group pic). It's a little basic thing that's perfect for me because I easily get cold (especially on my shoulders and back).

At the second thrift store I found amazing black kneelength pants (they go over my knees). They end in pretty cuffs and have deep pockets!! Unusual for slouchy pants like these. I found another vest (the brown thing to the right in the group pic from yesterday) without sleeves. It's long though - goes over my ass - and has pockets too! It has belt loops but the belt is missing. May add a new one. It's perfect for layering and when my back is cold. Last piece: the red gilet/ vest made from velvet. I couldn't resist that because it's soooo gorgeous but it also doesn't currently fit me and I'll have to make it larger. Oooops. I was trying not to buy more clothes that are projects but alas.

4 - Any scene/moment you don’t like & why

I think it’s no surprise that I don’t like The Drop in S1E5. Book-Lestat wouldn’t do it. I don’t like that it means we won’t see the book-plot of the Armand-Lestat drop, I don’t like how it alters a lot of subsequent feelings, motivations & meanings that impact on the rest of the series (for example there was a big knock-on impact for me in the trial - both in its feeling & in many practical differences of events & meaning.) But it’s that it grates against Lestat’s characterisation for him to do that to Louis that troubles me most.

But I accept tv-Lestat did it. There is no part of me that thinks it didn’t happen in TV world & no part of me that excuses it in any way either. The revisit to the scene beforehand: I liked it, because adding the missing scenes added glorious gothicness… and Lestat got to apologise… but there’s literally nothing Louis could say or do that would make the drop existing ok for me, so that’s that!

It’s particularly hard to properly express why Louis smashing Lestat’s head on a coffin then saying he’ll chop his head off & feed it to the lions is yummy, transgressive violence & gothic glory, yet The Drop is so wrong I cannot abide it. I think I can best explain by saying that none of this is good or bad in terms of relating it to reality, and so it’s the feelings & meaning on the next, underlying level that matters. Which is a very fine, yet incredibly important (as I feel it!) line.

6 - Best thing for you about the TV show

The characterisations.

I’m a sucker for a deep dive into character. I adore all of the characters on the show (including small roles I don’t mention here.)

I adore Lestat as there’s my Lestat on screen! The second he watched Louis with his blade to Paul’s throat - instantly I saw & felt that that was Lestat! Lestat was THERE! Resonant!

I adore Louis, as he is absolute glow-up-Louis & I love that I can feel from him the way all the vampires describe they feel for book-Louis, but I never really understood from book-Louis! But now, oh how I feel it too!

I am astounded that Assad has somehow elevated my love for Armand, who was already my second favourite book character beyond even how I love book-Armand. S2 was your season. Armand was everything.

I love how smaller characters such as Santiago & Madeleine have been elevated too & then Claudia… I do need to caveat that Claudia cannot have the impact of an immortal 5-year-old vampire! However, this Claudia works & the changes add interesting, poignant & tragic elements to her story. I adore tv Claudia & I hope she haunts every season of the show.

Such incredibly strong characterisation also helps to access the spirit of Anne’s books & I love when I feel the essence of her writing in the show! Which doesn’t mean a strictly close adaptation necessarily. For example, I feel the spirit of Anne’s work incredibly strongly in S2E5 even though that’s in large part written solely for TV.

13 - Feelings about TV show versus books

I think I sort of answered this above. Generally speaking, I’ve loved the TV adaptation so far though! It’s such a joy to be able to see books that were so close to your heart & that you read at such a formative age they’re ingrained in your heart & soul & in how you see & feel & experience & think about the world adapted with such love & care & attention to detail & to the spirit of the books. And the exquisite poetry of the writing - Anne’s words directly on screen at such poignant moments & the writers’ own beautiful poetic language also.

Acting, carpentry, gold and whatever other interests he may have because at the end of the day as a person you're allowed to have more than one dream.

Thy Creature Modern/Zombie AU Part 1

This started as a joke but after talking with @fleurrice on the server... this is for real and its loooooong so like strap in. Spoilers for Thy Creature btw even tho this is an AU. BTW I WENT PAST THE WORD COUNT OOOOPS... I'll add a part two later...

Ingolstadt Uni ofc... but honestly it can just be any vague German university for the sake of plot

Please this all came out because I wanted to see Victor as a nervous college student

"he a mortuary science student who took the wrong major" as per fleurrice's words.

Noah in the same major but fleurrice added on "he's the professor" and that's canon to me now.

He's beefing with some 19 yo (unofficial) TA 😒 (Justine). He's also beefing with Victor which I will explain later on. His students like him well enough though even if he's kind of strict. The type of asshole to jump a pop quiz because someone annoyed him a little. He has a good sense of humor and tries to be understanding because he's also been through some stuff.

Justine I think would major in hospitality. Instead of being Victor's maid I think she would just be a childhood friend who's mother was employed by his family.

Hanna would be an art professor of sorts. She has crazy social anxiety but when teaching she's passionate and encourages her students. A lot of students look up to her.

Ben would probably teach something with agriculture. He's a man of few words though... ever since his wife took the kids. Old shame.

Chris would be the alcoholic building manager. He's pretty grumpy. something abt the war .

Alex would be a social worker that had prior experience in hunting. She's very grandmacore and her attitude relaxes a lot of people. She's a good leader to them.

OKAY SO this is a really hyperspecific American thing but like how military recruiters bait highschoolers into joining on promise for free college tuition. Leon would be the sucker that believes in it. But they're German so I guess an alternative would be he's in college for now as a backup plan but plans on entering the military later on. He's kind of a jock but he's nice and popular. This is so oddly specific but I feel like he'd major in either buisness or engineering. Maybe even medicine bc I feel like he'd wanna help people.

This would start off similar to the plot of Thy Creature where Victor starts his research because his mother dies and he wants to know the meaning of life. What better way than to actually use her dead body!

Yeah starting off insane here. He uses his mother's corpse to make Siren. Don't ask why she has tentacles there's octopus DNA in there now...

Because she's the first specimen she's also the most unstable/crazy one. That's also why she's so powerful.

Anyways Victor is freaked out and locks her in his basement. But apparently not freaked out enough because he keeps experimenting.

Originally I was going to have Atlas/Loss and Raven/Not-Guilty at the very end but I think they'd be better here. Atlas is mixed with some horned creature's DNA and Raven is of course mixed with a raven's DNA. Raven is temperamental and thrashes in her bonds while Atlas is docile and doesn't really do much. Victor doesn't care he hates them both, basement time. Raven gives him a little scratch on the way out though...

Now Victor experiments on twins, Nameless and Creature. A byproduct of the experiment is that a zombies hair will bleach white. But sometimes it will stay the original color. Nameless is incredibly unstable, constantly attempting to turn into his more monstrous form. Creature however besides the white hair is perfectly stable. You almost wouldn't be able to tell something is wrong with it.

It runs away though lolllll... lolllll. Victor locks up nameless in his basement with the others. Now that he knows he can make a stable reanimated corpse he just keeps on chugging.

Creature kind of becomes a campus myth like the trash muncher. Mostly non-malevolent though.

Now Noah has caught on to Victor by now. He catches him trying to take something from the morgue but his higherups aren't too hard pressed about it because Noah doesn't have sufficient proof + Victor cleans up really well. Also Noah unironically beefs with a 19 yo for fun so not the most credible. But Noah knows.

Victor half contemplates just hitting Noah with a shovel and doing what he has to but that's hardddddd.

Fortunately for Victor! William Frankenstein found dead in a ditch.

Yeah so while the Creature was out n about it accidentally infected William bc it didn't know it can do that.

Victor immediately takes William's body to mess around. Noah hears about his loss and also about how his mom died and he's like oh no wonder he's weird around corpses. And kind of drops the matter because maybe he's just grieving.

Oh he's grieving alright. G-making r-his i-next eving-specimen.

He uses William's body to make Erysichthon/EL. This specimen is mostly stable, able to switch between monstrous and human at will. However... he likes biting people on purpose and noms Victor on the arm.

Basement time. Basements all over the place.

Now I didn't know if I wanted her to be before or after EL, but maybe after. Victor wanted to experiment on a young child, see how manageable it'd be. Thus he uses a young girl to make 701/Loneliness. She is mostly stable, but she's really hyperactive, so like average kid shit. Unfortunately Victor is kind of unfamiliar with children so he throws her in the basement as well.

Noah when his student makes 7 atrocities against man in his basement:

Victor's health has been declining drastically as well from his lacerations. He'd been growing more delirious.

While Victor's sleeping on his fucking futon on the floor, he forgets to lock the door... and well ... the monster mash comes out.

Instesd of having Nepe Victor/Regret as a final boss, Victor himself is the final boss. But instead he's infected and a shell of his former shelf. The nepes don't attack him because he has a "vaccine" against them in the form of being infected.

Yeah this whole time he's been using parasitic bacteria for reanimation. It made the nerves jolt and he's like I can work with this.

Worked a bitttt too well. The only way to kill these zombies would be to burn them.

Ofc they start infecting everyone on campus. All entrances are blocked by Nepes zombies. More specifically it's this unidentifiable biomass coagulating around the doors.

🤣🤣🤣 Noah's boutta kill this motherfucker with his bare hands. As soon as the first zombie enters the room he doesn't hesitate to hit it with a chair. Bro is PISSED.

You just know his ass is saying "I KNEW IT" the entire time. He distributes sterile gloves/masks to the rest of the team later on to prevent any sort of pathogens from going inside their bloodstream. But eventually they're going to need something better to filter that shit out.

As soon as Hanna sees what's going on outside she locks the doors to her classroom aaaaaand goes catatonic . Her students have to look after her till the others come.

Hanna unfortunately has to see her students die because plot. Hanna always saw her students like family even if they cycled out fast. They'd be nice to her because they know she's trying her best and vice versa. So it just. Especially sucks for her with the knowledge that these students will never grow up to be accomplished adults like she knew they could be.

Noah meets Justine again and asks her if she can help with talking to Victor to see if there's a way to bring the zombie nepes back to normal.

In reality he just wants to know where Victor lives on campus so he can go beat the shit out of him really hard. Justine doesn't have to know that tho.

They find EL in a corner passed out. He looks like a normal enough boy and he could just be one of the professors children. Hanna and Justine especially want to help him.

Noah is a bit reluctant but he is just a kid.

However as we established EL is kind of a freak. He breathes down their necks and he doesn't start anything just yet. He wants to see how many people are still remaining so he holds off on biting.

Creature comes in purely on accident. It manages to bite through the biomass in the front door and go inside.

Once the gang determine it won't really bite them + it's useful for plowing through the other nepes, they take it in as well.

The university seems to be split between 6 nepes (like the tower and it's 7 floors). Each Nepe has it's own mark. Like you can tell someone got mutated by Siren via the tentacles coming out of them. However Atlas doesn't really do much so his neck of the woods is a peaceful place.

Unfortunately EL realizes they're the only ones left and attacks before he gets attacked. He bites Ben and tries attacking Hanna before Alex shoots him.

They think Creature infected him... which technically it didddd but on accident and it did that to William not Erysichthon. But they still need it for killing the Nepe bosses.

701 bites people to make friends 😭. Her zombies are a bit like. Preserved. Like dolls. They can't move much because their joints are stiff and they've become colorless. Noah's a bit reluctant to hit a child but considering he's seen enough corpses already he's emotionally bracing himself. Chris however has no hesitation. Molotov her ass ❤

Yeah Chris has been making molotovs and shit with his booze. If it works it works.

Ben has started to go a bit insane from the infection. They muzzle and tie his hands up so he can't wound anyone. He can still speak albeit in broken words. They don't want to kill him because of the chance of a cure + he's not hurting anyone so if it's not needed they won't kill him.

Leon, Noah, Alex, Chris, and Creature have been the ones primarily fighting. Leon and Noah are incredibly jacked and let's just say... Noah is motivated by pure spite. Alex and Chris have survival experience so they know what to do in certain situations. And Creature is creature. It takes over later on for fighting while the others try to live the best they can. Hanna and Justine help with injuries.

Hanna also knows Victor had been up to something, on a particularly bad day she said she saw him in the halls carrying corpses and asked what the hell was going on. He admitted his plan to her and while it sounded insane, she thought perhaps... he could get her baby back. He promised to do so if she kept quiet and she did. She later pushed this memory to the back of her mind so she only remembered recently. That's why she went catatonic.

Justine is really concerned for Victor because she knows he hasn't been well. He hasn't et her take care of him either. Wouldn't even let Clerval or Elizabeth visit. So the fact this happened? Oh he's deaddddd.

The gang are focused on finding a safe way out but also to exterminate all the zombies so they won't escape either for the greater good. Noah himself is also trying to research the disease to reverse it because as luck would so happen, he has a hefty amount of medical knowledge. He's been serving as their medic as well.

Raven is terrifying to fight because she and those she infected, have wings and talons (which have grown over time). They fly down to try to slash at the group. Creature uses itself as a meatshield to protect them before finally beating the shit out of Raven and charring her. Bird down.

ELs back-! As Erysichthon. There's green mucus from the corners of his mouth. The zombies on his floor are the more traditional type, except their flesh is slowly breaking down into slime because of his saliva. (He bit them harder than he did Ben and Victor). Again Creature has to fight him and burn him down.

Atlas doesn't do much, he doesn't resist getting killed. His area is not a zone, more so a corner he's been pushed to. They keep him in that area as a way to ward off the other Nepe zombies because his presence seems to work on them like a relaxant. Which in turn makes it easier to kill them. They only kill him when his presence starts agitating Ben and making them all feel a bit sleepy.

Siren is terrifying to fight. Her zombies have grown tentacles. And once she latches on ohhhhhhhh. She is also the most powerful. Her flesh covers the exit. She releases a vapor that acts as a hallucinogen, making everyone see happy visions and want to never leave. Of course that won't do. Fry her ass 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Nameless' area rumbles with his growling. He can't control himself from mutating like every other day but he's trying to hold on to what little humanity he has. But he's also the most brutal. His mutant form literally eating out people's organs and leaving them half behind.

As soon as he sees Creature though, he feels more at peace. More in control of himself, as if it was his other half. But he still wants it to kill him.

He's almost able to control himself for good, but he gets triggered into his mutant form again, and because he can't stabilize himself and is a threat to everyone else, he gets killed. Sadge.

Now that all the major Nepe contaminants are gone, they can finally go to Victor and ask him what the fuck is wrong with him.

Victor's eyes have gone completely black and yellow (another sign of the infected). He's crazed with power but breaking down at the same time. He's begging them to save him but he's beyond saving. The skin that ELbit has gone gelatinous and raven's scratch marks have overgrown with feathers. Tentacle marks on his legs all that jazz.

okay.. i read it back to back Tori and really, I REALIZED I REALLY HAVE THAT SYNDROME. either it's Maki or Atsumu, it's a SLS second lead syndrome. coz well you see when I was reading the Atsumu ending, I felt really bad, really bad for Maki because the ending was too good. That "Okay" meant a lot for Atsumu and I really felt bad because it's not Maki.. I teared actually. It was so good, the scenes after that "Okay". aaaaaahhhh, please pleaseー

and then, the Maki ending. I WAS KINDA WAITING FOR THAT ACTUALLY AND YOU KNOW IT!! but when it started, i felt something in my stomach that i can't stomach. OMG. I thought "No, this isn't right at all." I kept scrambling away as I read. "i let you meet my fucking brother" OMG IT HURTS IT HURTS SO BAD. when the sex took place with Maki, i kept reading but I wish the reader would just stop halfway and run back to Atsumu. OMG. I can picture Atsumu's defeated face, it's gut-wrenching.

OMG, this is an illness.. I thoughtー UGH BOTH ARE GOOD. TO THINK I'LL BE DOWN WITH EITHER OF THEM. I WANT THEM BOTH!!!

Host: Hey, Aizo and Yujiro. You guys are always seen together, but this time, you’re facing off against each other in a solo competition.

Aizo: Ahh— I’m feeling nothing but the jitters, y’know?

Aizo: (Just kidding. I’m actually super chill with it, though.)

Chancing a glance at Yujiro, Aizo noted that, unlike their encounter on their day off, Yujiro had a friendly smile spread across his face.

Yujiro: I’m feeling rather uneasy too.

Yujiro: I’m so used to having Aizo by my side, so not having him here is a little…

Cheers and murmurs arose from the audience seats, as well as from the tiered gallery where all the performers were situated.

Yujiro: I think Aizo’s better suited for this kind of stuff, especially when it comes to variety programmes.

-> she does not! anything that she could have brought has been left behind whether it was because the object is simply unusable now or would have been too much of a hassle to carry along. it leaves her a bit sad of course (not that she'd ever ever say it LOL) but she places more stock in the memories she has and can share rather than still owning the material itself

Wench: Nope.  To be honest, it's really unwise for him to kill the King.  For one thing, a lot of his power comes from his relationship with that specific King.  First, I think a new king could unseat him as First Minister (though I'm not fully sure).  But also, Louis is easily manipulated, whereas another king might not be.  Also, more importantly, there technically isn't another King.  That's a bit problem in this season, in fact; kingship passes on by bloodline, but Louis/Anne don't have a son, so, if Louis dies, succession is a serious issue.  All in all, the Cardinal Does Not Want the king to die

Wench: Yeah... he's not really bad.  In general, I mean?  He's pretty true neutral, actually.

Jezebel: Minus killing the woman

Wench: No, even then… That doesn’t automatically rule out true neutral.  True neutral means that you don't really care if you're following the law or not, if you're being good or bad; it's a pretty self-centered stance, at least in my experience.  He really does care about the state staying preserved/not dissolving into chaos… but his perception of what's good for the state governs his actions.  And his personal goals center around his own power/influence.  In his eyes, Adele betrayed him; thus he harms her.  In his eyes, tearing down the king's guard by framing Athos is good because that leaves the king more reliant on him, so he can ensure that the state progresses according to what he thinks is right (and he gets more power).  He's highly neutral.  So you'll have episodes like the last episode where he's the villain, and episodes like this one where he's working to protect the king.  Even the most villainous Richelieu gets?  He's still not really... evil (still in D&D terms).  He's acting the way he thinks his best for him/France.  Whether it's true or not is a separate question, but yeah.  He doesn't really care what he has to do to achieve those goals, so he's not actively trying to make the world better/worse.  He manipulates the system, but breaks the law whenever the reward outweighs the risk.  He's trying to preserve himself, and France by extension.

Jezebel: And d’Art, who we already know is just very him, has got this weird will they/won’t they thing going with Married Lady. And his blind fascination with the other lady (Milady)… who framed him for murder
