My favorite thing about the few Jonmartin fake dating AUs I’ve seen is that they have to puzzle Tim out of the equation somehow. I am certain Tim would be shoving bystanders out of the way to volunteer himself to be a fake boyfriend—I feel like he would invite a stranger to couple’s counselling for fun.

There is an obvious solution to Tim existing at all, and yet the AUs all take place in s1, or in an alternate timeline where everyone is alive and well, because we love a Tim.
