in my eyes, argenthill is neither strictly romantic or strictly platonic but a secret third thing. they can't be together long-term because of their paths, but they CAN be deeply devoted to each other. they recognize the others' independence but also know they can lean on them for emotional support.

Unless I'm missing something, as an adult, Stolas only ever used Blitzo (with the "o") in this scene

Stolas questioned if Blitzø had an "o" at the end when they talked as adults in The Circus, but when Blitzø said that the "o" was silent now, Stolas never said it aloud

Something about him saying Blitzo really sunk under my skin. It's been on my mind ever since The Full Moon aired. He only ever said it just that one time; every other time in this episode was Blitzø with the silent o.

Chinese localization aside, I do think just calling Caleb your childhood friend truly waters down MC’s relationship with him. In the sense that they are so much more than just childhood friends.

Zayne is MC’s childhood friend. Someone who she used to play with that one day moved away.

Caleb is…so much more than that. He wasn’t just someone who would play with her before the sun went down and they went their separate ways to their own homes. Caleb is the boy who took care of her scraped knees, held her through thunderstorms, found her when nobody else could.

Writing him off as just a “childhood friend” feels like an injustice to this character who has loved you from the moment he laid his eyes on you.

He is .. attractive. I mentioned that. You all saw it. I will not .. get into that. Because it's mostly in the comfort I get by being around him. He understands me far more than most people do. I could chalk that up to me ... showing him more of myself and the fact he .. simply gets it.

I do not need to try hard to explain myself on things, my .. masks .. with a lack of a better term, can come down and I know I don't have to worry about being seen differently because he already knows .. me.

I also find myself more .. drawn to him the more he regains or finds of himself. It's been an absolute joy to get to know him.

Most of the time, I exist in a mostly non-binary state. When my gender goblin ventures his way into the binary aisle for gender soup ingredients, he never gets the standard "man" and "woman" genders. He gets the dude/guy/chick/gal four pack. They all taste very similar to the "man/woman" gender ingredients, but they are just a little to the left.
