tony with artificial tail feathers. bare with me. the arc reactor keeps him from being able to achieve lift himself because his ribcage can’t take the strain, so repulsors, and artificial tail feathers that won’t burn and will protect his legs while using fire boosters to escape the cave the first time.

tony classing it up with really fancy tail feathers at the galas. it’s not the first time people have weaved fake feathers and other decorations into their feathers, but that’s usually the wings and not the tail and certainly not a full replacement.

also though just in general natasha with small metal feathers in both wings and tails to do fancy swish slices :) :) :)
