i spent three weeks being convinced that i had lice because my head was itching despite careful inspection with a lice comb and having zero signs of actually having lice.

anyway i switched shampoo three weeks ago because a new brand was on sale and it turns out i'm allergic to it.

#which also explains why i was itchy IN the shower #but in my defense we had a traumatic lice event a few years ago #my kids' school decided to have a 'sleepover day'#and kids came in pjs with their stuffies and the WHOLE GRADE GOT LICE. stunning.#i had to shave my head because lice removal is a two person job and i was already tired so it was like fuck it.#this was after i had just grown my hair out from shaving it to get rid of my side shave so i was devastated #loyal talks about stuff and things
