i feel like my biggest hypocritical trait is that i will make fun of the fans of superhero movies/the state of MCU and DC and all that jazz as much as the next person, but i WILL also lose my mind over every one of those movies that i watch. not because they're good(they aren't), or well written(they aren't), or even that funny(usually they aren't). it's just that the very second i start watching a movie with superheroes i lose every single one of my braincells and i have the time of my life. i will rewatch so many of these dogshit movies just so i can see people kickass with funky powers

#and i wont say im a fan of either of those universes(cause im not)#i havent watched any of the new movies/shows in years now #but im not immune to the allure of people with crazy powers #literally i will enjoy them SO MUCH and the entire time i watch i'll be like 'im having so much fun i love this movie'#and the second its finished i'll realize that it was not at all a good movie and i hated every line #but for those blissful couple of hours nothing bad exists ever and all superhero movies are perfect #like guess how many times ive watched the deadpool movie. whatever your guess is i can guarantee it should be doubled #i should really make an original story universe that is solely superheroes #not even to make stories i intend to publish #just to be as self indulgent as possible and pretend like i'll be able to singlehandedly fix the state of superhero media(i wont <3)#also first post im turning reblogs off on bc while i dont expect ppl to rb...i dont want to risk rabid fans giving me shit
