galatea can be really shy and reclusive sometimes bc she has a fi-si loop (a fi-si loop is where an infp relies solely on their introverted functions and become hypercritical of their past mistakes and is stuck in this nostalgic timeloop kind of situation but i digress)

since she had been in an asylum for so long, she's very used to her own company so it took her a while to put her guard down again

but once she does, she's a completely different person!

her love languages are quality time and gift giving! she just loves your company and enjoy moments in silence too

galatea gives huge cat energy ngl i can imagine her being very selective but is able to be herself with the people she's familiar with (she's actually rlly nice!!!!) (until she gets jealous but i'll elaborate on that some other day)

➤ Dazai doesn’t get jealous easily. He trusts you all the way to his bandages and knows how long it takes you to notice that someone is flirting with you. Before the two of you became a thing, Dazai had been excessively flirting with you only and always threw compliments your way such as “Ah, those earrings really compliment the color of your eyes, belladonna!” and you’d just say “I think so, too. Thanks,” before resuming your way of life. Yosano had to tell you that Dazai was looking at you with heart eyes, trying to score a date with you for 2 weeks at that time.

➤ He watches with an amused smirk when the person flirting with you starts getting frustrated. To Dazai, it’s just funny how the person becomes more desperate and the flirting becomes blatantly obvious, yet it’s like you’re immune unless it’s Dazai that does the flirting (yes, you got better at catching his advances). Eventually, Dazai will smoothly join the scene with his hand resting on your waist and pull you close to his side.

➤ “Thank you for looking after my belladonna while I had to use the bathroom, but we’re on a date. If you’d excuse us.”

➤ However, Dazai won’t pull the playful side if the person makes you uncomfortable or uses inappropriate pick-up lines. He knows you’re just too nice to tell the person to fuck off and would rather sit through the experience than potentially anger them.

➤ You can actually see the light in his eyes fading into nothing and his voice drops an entire octave. You’d only witnessed that side of Dazai one or two times, but you will never forget the goosebumps that covered your skin. “Put those paws of yours on her and you won’t see tomorrow come.”

➤ I can see Dazai getting somewhat jealous when it’s someone you have good chemistry with and/or if there’s some kind of romantic background; like someone you’d once gone out on a date with, was partner other and such. He’d stay attached to your side all the time, but not because he doesn’t trust you; he doesn’t trust that person.

➤ While you’re happily chatting away, Dazai is extra touchy in that situation. May it be his arm around your waist, his hand on your upper thigh or gently caressing your knee underneath the table while whispering sweet nothings in your ear. Ngl, he wants to fluster you a bit, just enough for it to be visible or audible. Dazai is a little shit in that situation and wants to make the person feel uncomfortable enough to leave.

➤ “Dazai, you what-?!” You’d slap his arm and blush furiously.

➤ “I don’t like the way they looked at you, my love,” Dazai would say pouting once you’re home and proceeds to suck some purple bruises into the skin of your neck, so that they wouldn’t look at you twice, again.

➤ Can and will continue if you liked what he was doing.

Ranpo Edogawa

➤ That man protects his candy better than his own life and you’re no exception. Sharing ain’t caring and he sure as hell isn’t having it when someone flirts with who belongs to him.

➤ Unlike Dazai, he can’t just watch and immediately sweeps in to stop whatever the person was about to do with both of his arms around you or you behind him. Depends on how badly it rubs Ranpo the wrong way.

➤ Yes, Ranpo’s aware of your overly friendly side and appreciated it. Even flirting with you is fun, because it takes you some time to get it and when you do, it’s the most adorable thing. However, it’s definitely not adorable when someone else tries to gauge that reaction out of you. It’s only for Ranpo to witness.

➤ “Who the hell are you?” Ranpo would say in a tone that would give away that he’s definitely jealous but quickly sigh and stop the person from answering by waving them off. “Have you ever heard of rhetorical questions? Of course, I don’t want to know who you are.”

➤ The type to deny he’s jealous and be all whiny about your accusations until you stop teasing him about it, hold his hand and reassure him. “I really look up to you, Ranpo. My eyes are always on you,” and Ranpo would deadass lose it, because that’s what you said when it was your first time joining him for a murder case and he had told you to watch him.

➤ Gets soft real fast and admits that he just doesn’t like anyone else hitting on you, saying that jealousy is indeed a lame feeling that he’s not fond of. “But you’re beautiful so I can understand, but it’s still so meh.”

➤ Pls give him a forehead kiss. He treasures them so much more than kisses on the lips, cheek, neck, etc. To Ranpo, it’s like a pinky promise.

➤ Will proudly wrap an arm around your shoulder, pull you flush to his side and wanders off to the next ice-cream shop while making walking a bit hard. According to Ranpo, ice-cream cools down heated feelings (pun intended) and it’s a great place for him to show off who’s his.

➤ Can and will use his deduction skills on that person if they’re making you uncomfortable or trying inappropriate things on you. “Ah, I see. You’ve already harassed several people and had to go to the police. Wouldn’t it be a shame if you had to get actually arrested this time?” 

➤ Has that proud and wicked smirk on his face when the person gets scared and makes a run for it. Ranpo will still report them though.

Tanizaki Junichiro

➤ Jealousy-wise, he’s something between Ranpo and Dazai. It really depends on the circumstances, how the person approaches you and all.

➤ If the person treats you with respect and kindness, Tanizaki will quickly inform them that you’re taken by him. He understands that you’re naturally friendly and figures that it’s also the vibe you give off, so he can’t blame anyone for finding that attractive. Tanizaki is just relieved that the person was kind enough to understand the position they were in and even wished the two of you a nice day/date.

➤ Still holds your hand a little bit tighter, though. 

➤ “Wait, did you just get jealous?” It’d hit you out of nowhere once the scene replays in your head and Tanizaki would blush ever so slightly. Maybe he was a bit jealous, but not to a high extent. He’d rather call it protective. “Ah, [Name], it’s nothing like that, I promise.”

➤ Now, y’all have seen that man protecting his sister and he protects you just as much as Naomi. Once the person is creepy and fishy, it’s game over and it’s like a switch turned within him.

➤ When you get uncomfortable and feel bothered by whoever’s flirting with you, Tanizaki takes over faster than you could ask him for help. “I don’t care who you are or what you’re trying to achieve here, but bend even a hair of hers and you’ll severely regret it.” His eyes are dull, voice firm and serious as he gets his point across. 

➤ Feels genuinely jealous when you seemingly ignore him for someone else, though. None of Tanizaki’s tries of joining the conversation are successful, not even him touching your hand or being a bit more touchy than usually gains your attention. It’s then that his voice sounds a little bit more lifeless and gains your observance. “[Name], weren’t we on a date?” You know you messed up.

➤ You kindly say goodbye to whoever’s flirting with you and ask Tanizaki what’s wrong - it’s just not his kind and easily flustered self

➤ “You seemed to be having fun with them, don’t you?”

➤ “Tanizaki, they were just being nice-”

➤ Give him the puppy eyes and everything is forgiven, though. Tanizaki could never, in his entire life, be genuinely mad at you. Yes, he might be upset that you ignored him for good 5 minutes straight, but that’s it.

Chuuya Nakahara

➤ Chuuya rarely gets jealous. He puts 110% of his faith and trust in you and knows that you do the same. A relationship that��s loyal to the bone.

➤ He can stand it for a little while when e.g. Tachihara is getting a little too friendly and touchy with you. Of course, you return the gesture, believing that he’s just being nice to you and not actually flirting. After all, no one but Chuuya had ever really flirted with you or so you believed.

➤ We all know that man’s temper is as short as his height, so it wouldn’t take long for him to snatch you away from Tachihara and dump a load of work on him. “Chuuya, what is all that work for?!” Tachihara would obviously complain, not quite understanding why all of a sudden he was assigned to pretty lame jobs. Chuuya just waves him off, pulling you into his side and temper tested. “You don’t flirt with taken people. If you do, you’ll simply have to carry the consequences.” 

➤ Tachihara wasn’t aware you were in a relationship with Chuuya. After all, being an executive was a lot of work, he often came home late and your paths with Chuuya didn’t cross as often as you’d like, but y’all still make it work. 

➤ At that moment, Chuuya makes an effort to see you more often during the day, have you closer by his side and let people know that you’re his and his alone. He’ll then bring you along to meetings, lets you sit on his lap when it’s just paperwork he has to finish for Mori and holds your hand at the mafia headquarters.

➤ It’s not like Chuuya has never held your hand. He just never thought of it as necessary and you never complained about it either, so he assumed it was okay.

➤ Chuuya introduces you to Kouyou, knowing that word will get around faster. Now, Kouyou isn’t a woman of gossip but she will assume that Mori is aware of the relationship Chuuya shares with you and casually goes “Chuuya’s partner is pretty cute, don’t you think so, Mori-san?” and Mori stops whatever he’s doing, “You mean like a..relationship?”

➤ Mori will spread word like wildfire. Elise scolds him.

➤ “Now everyone knows you’re mine, shrimp,” Chuuya pats your head and messes up your hair affectionately. You can’t help the huff slipping your lips and look up at him with a questioning look. “Big reaction for someone so small.”

puffy's horns remind niki of jschlatt. this has resulted in more than one incident of niki attacking puffy, puffy trying to file down her horns and niki flinching away from puffy.

oh also correlating with the one above, puffy's first thought when she saw niki flinch away for the first time was that niki had had an abusive ex. angst ensues

puffy is TERRIBLE at baking and niki gets ptsd from smoke since l'manberg so the first time puffy burnt something accidentally, niki had a full-on panic attack

in a soulmate au where they feel eachothers pain, puffy would get these huge aches of hunger, followed by a sharp pain everywhere before it disappeared. she wasnt sure that niki was her soulmate but didnt rule it out, and her theories were basically confirmed when niki looked much thinner at the banquet than she had been pre-doomsday

as mentioned above, puffy is terrible at baking, but over times she becomes just below mediocre. niki boasts abt it to everyone she meets

puffy always exaggerates with everything ever so once when niki struck her with flour, she made this big deal abt betrayal

both of them were gonna play an original concert together after new l'manberg festival (ig thats kinda angsty but whatever)

puffy gets ticklish around the armpits and under-knee area so those are niki's go-to spots

niki is ticklish EVERYWHERE but specifically her neck and puffy abuses the fuck out of that

if they adopt any pets together : hana would adopt 2000958489 pets if she could , and suraj rlly has to put his foot down or he’ll come home to so many . luckily , most of their lives they’ve lived in apartments so having pets hasnt been a super high possibility . also . . hana is quite careless and has k*lled many , many of their goldfish . .

how into pda they are : neither of them are actually super super pda-y besides a kiss goodbye / hello , and a hand hold . if they’re a little drunk or tipsy , hana definitely snuggles on in and just Holds him the entire night and presses kisses to his neck because she’s Addicted to him . 

who holds the umbrella when it rains : SURAJ LOOK AT HOW TALL HE IS . and he just does it silently . . he takes it and holds it , and ensures hana doesn’t stumble into her 3000th puddle , or accidentally hit someone with the umbrella ( when she holds the umbrella , she always smacks suraj in the face and doesnt even notice dkjnjnfkfn ) 

where their usual ‘date spot’ is ( if applicable ) : i don’t know if they have one atm ? it was their rooftop for a while probably , in their old apartment complex ? thatd be date night usually . currently ..  they’re pretty happy just having dinner together every night in their house in general ? 

who’s more protective: hana is definitely protective because she doesn’t like the way suraj’s family treats him , mainly . like he’s not a PUSHOVER per se , but he isn’t very confrontational and ppl sometimes take advantage of that , and around his family she KNOWS they hurt his feelings and she really really doesn’t like that  

how long it is before they sleep together ( can be as in ‘had sex’ or as in ‘shared a bed’ ): platonically , they share a bed a bunch of times before they become ‘ them ‘ . hana’s parents let suraj stay over literally whenever , and they have a Knowing look in their eyes and would tease them about ‘ leaving the door open ‘ ( and hana would groan very loudly whilst suraj would stammer out a ‘ no - i - never . . ) . the first time they had sex was also in hana’s bed lets be honest . it was careful and gentle and both of them laughing nervously and moving slowly and taking Care of each other .

who steals whose clothes and how often : oh we know hana wears his clothes constantly . she loves them . they smell like him . she wears them as pyjamas , or sometimes as a lazy sunday brunch look . he’ll be like ‘ babe did you see my ralph lauren button up - oh “  and there she is on the kitchen bench swinging her legs , grinning at him . 

how they cuddle ( spooning? facing each other? ) : they definitely swap ‘ big spoon / little spoon ‘ positions a lot . or they sleep holding hands , on different sides of the bed , but always touching in some way . 

what their favourite nonsexual activity is  : honestly . . just being around each other dfjkfnfn i know thats so cheesy but its true they love each other so much. their ABSOLUTE favourite thing to do is literally just talk about their days ? or like . cook for each other in the kitchen , or share music together , i feel ? just smth where they can be in their Space but not necessarily have to fill it with anything

how long they stay mad at each other : NOT LONG AT ALL !! barely anytime at all ! except . .One Time in the future when they have a huge blow out and theyre both utterly miserable , but all other small indifferences and ‘ arguments ‘ literally last an hour max . hana just can’t be mad at suraj bc he’s SO sweet and lovely and understanding she just . . always crawls back and knows shes the one being unreasonable 9  / 10 times . 

what their usual coffee / tea orders are : hana always gets a ridiculously bright, overly sugary, coloured drink , or always tries something new ( trying to make her way through the menu ) . i feel like suraj is either more of a long black , or cappuccino guy , or a tea drinker ? 

if they ever have any children together : oh ho ho . .   THIS . .  .woweee . . no, they do not ! not yet . . i want to say ? ?  mayhaps . . 

if they have any special pet names for each other : ‘  babe ‘ ‘ baby ‘ ‘ sweetie ‘ . hana calls suraj ‘ su ‘ sometimes ? 

if they ever split up and / or get back together : they . . split up exactly ONCE . and they get back together because they literally can’t live without each other. the split up isn’t anybodys fault per se , either . its that hana has suddenly a lot of trauma and memories resurface and she doesnt know how to deal with it , and suraj tries to help and it TERRIFIES her and causes this distance and rift between them and then she just thinks maybe he’d be better off without her , so she gives him back the ring and cue them both being utterly MISERABLE . they find their way back together though . they always do . 

what their shared living space is like ( messy? clean? what kind of decor? ) : despite hana being very messy and all over the place , their living space is quite minimalist and clean . hana’s work space is an explosion of materials and colour swatches and scrapbooks , but the house as a whole is neat and tidy and i feel we mainly have suraj to thank for that 

what their first christmas / hanukkah / etc as a couple was like : they spent half the day at hana’s parents , and half the day at suraj’s , then spent the evening / night together . they mainly enjoyed coming back home to each other tbh ? suraj’s family is . . Difficult , and hana tries not to stay around them for too long bc she sees them Drain suraj . 

what their names are in each other’s phones: hana’s name for suraj is probably  ‘ BABY 💕🥰💕🥰💕🥰💕🥰💕 ‘ she probably renamed herself in suraj’s phone too , to like . . ‘ LOVE OF MY LIFE ‘ and he never changed it back dfkjfnkfn 

if they have any ‘couple traditions’ ( buying a new mug for their collection every year? baking every friday evening? ) : their tradition is usually having dinner together every night ? no matter who cooks or what they buy . or even if hana is working late on wedding stuff , suraj will come sit with her and bring her her dinner still . they also send each other Silly Goofy selfies every now and then , just randomly throughout the day 

who falls asleep first and who wakes up first : it really depends on the day ! during the week i think suraj usually falls asleep first ? and hana just rakes her fingers through his hair , because she usually works late and stuff , and tbh she loves when suraj is asleep bc hes a big golden retriever cuddled up to her . but everytime they watch a movie together , hana definitely falls asleep first and misses EVERYTHING  . as for waking up first , i feel like this must be suraj ? because hana loves sleep and also she doesnt sleep very WELL and sometimes has nightmares . 

who’s the big spoon / little spoon : they honestly take turns ok , there i said it . 

who hogs the bathroom : hana literally for every event . she loves makeup so much . she’ll be doing it for two hours , suraj sitting on the bed fully dressed being like ‘  baby i’m not pressuring u but uh . . we’re half an hour late to our own wedding dinner rehearsal ‘ dfkjndfnjk

who kills the spiders / takes them outside : THEY’RE BOTH DECENT AT THIS ? they both take the spiders outside . if its a particularly big one or scary one . . it goes to suraj though . hana PREFERS if suraj does it , but if he’s not around she’ll try her Best .

Layers of life:

Every life touches another, everyone is connected to someone else even if just in small ways.

Name/describe at least 3 'reoccurring’ or ‘regular’ characters in your muses life. These are people (non familial) who know/know of, your muse and make an appearance in their daily/weekly (etc) lives, like their neighbor or even the person they walk past every morning. Who are they? What do they think of each other?

1. Sandy-Anne from Cupcake O’Clock.

Sandy-Anne (never just Sandy), is a 50 something year old woman with a soft figure and heart, but a stern attitude. She has curly, blonde/gray hair and takes pride in her appearance. She has worked at the Cupcake O’Clock bakery for 10 years and has enjoyed all her time there.

Chesh goes into the bakery every Friday afternoon and buys an assortment of the impressively decorated cupcakes. He always asks Sandy-Anne how things are going, and asks whats new with the bakery. He compliments her on the new designs and always has a cheeky/flirty comment to make. His charm has caused her to warm up to him a great deal (though she’ll often roll her eyes at him or be tsun). She looks forward to her Friday amusement fix from him and always puts her best effort into the Friday batches. 

Since he comes in every week and has been doing so for a while, she gives him a discount. She thinks he’s a wonderful young man, and often asks about his love life. She has a bunch of girls in mind for him. She is still trying to figure out what he does with all the cupcakes. Surely he doesnt eat them all himself...right? 

(He enjoys keeping the mystery going and will never reveal what they’re for)

2. Red, the morning jogger.

Most mornings, Chesh begins his day with a workout and run through the city. His route takes him along a scenic path through a park, and it’s at this point that he gets joined by a middle-aged man with faded brown hair and a permanent frown. They run the edge of the park together and then split up again.

Chesh doesn’t know his name, but due to the fact the guy always wears something red, he’s started to refer to him as that.

They don’t talk, and it’s taken about a year of this accidental run together for Red to even acknowledge Chesh’s passing grin/wave with a nod of his own.

Red is a man who has a lot of pressure and stress in his life, and his morning runs are his only real solace. Despite his rather grumpy disposition and the way life has worn him down, he’s a pretty fit and handsome man. In fact, he turns some heads during his morning runs, and knowing that the women who are out and about at the same time are watching and whispering about him is the part he secretly enjoys most, it’s the one boost he gets in his life.

Unfortunately for Red, when Chesh started to run through the park at the same time, the appreciative eyes switched target. Chesh was getting all the looks (one of which was now Red’s glare).

Red’s jealousy sparked a little competitiveness and pettiness in himself. He’d ignore Chesh and try pushing himself harder as Chesh approached, as if they were in a race. Chesh did notice this behaviour, and he thought it was pretty funny, it just made him grin at Red more (which pissed the guy off).

As a therianthrope, Chesh has a lot more endurance, speed, and strength, so he could easily race far ahead of Red with no trouble, but he always kept roughly at pace with him just for fun. As Red started to ‘compete’, Chesh began running a bit faster too. Not because he felt threatened or the need to be better, but because he wanted Red to improve himself, it was all part of the plan.

The park introduced an obstacle course several months ago. Chesh and Red incorporated it into their path. It’s a lot of fun for Chesh and a good challenge for Red, who’s become really good at it.

After many long months, Red has gotten some of his admirers back and gotten some new ones too (Chesh might have chatted to some women to get them to see Red as a catch…). They get a decent audience when they do the obstacle course. His hostility towards Chesh has dimmed, part of him knows its because of Chesh that he has gotten so much fitter and healthier. He still thinks Chesh is a silly, cheeky, brat though and often rolls his eyes and grumbles about him.

Chesh, on the other hand, affectionately thinks of Red as a friend. The guy reminds him a bit of Kav with the grumpy attitude, and he finds him quite funny.

3. Clarkson, the online friend.

Chesh is a fit and outgoing guy, not the sort you’d think would spend much time online or being a fanboy. But the truth is, he’s quite a nerd and has dived deep into all sorts of things. A couple of years ago, he was playing an online game and it led to a forum and then group chat which eventually led to a different forum and a different chat. One of the people in the chat was a guy called Clarkson, who was the nicest and funniest of the group as well as being the most reasonable.

Chesh and Clarkson got along really well, and when the group chat died and things moved on, they continued messaging each other about all sorts of things at any time, becoming good friends. Chesh likes to call him Superman and make all the jokes about it (he’s absolutely delighted to have a friend called Clark, just for that reason. Clark is not so delighted but tolerates with some amusement).

Instead of messages, sometimes they’d call and chat that way, but the times were often hard to coordinate (and being shy, Clarkson never wanted to do video calls/facetime, which is something Chesh loves).

But when a big pop-culture convention was taking place in a nearby city, they were both so hyped and agreed to meet up there.

Chesh wasn’t sure what he expected really, but Clark was a tall, somewhat gangly young guy of Japanese/American descent and a shy personality. Clark had no idea what to expect either, but would never have been prepared for Chesh (he actually thought Chesh might have been an actor coming as a guest for the convention when he first spotted him). His first thought was ‘oh no’, because Chesh grinned at him and a crush started instantly.

Clark spent a lot of the time being flustered and confused, and Chesh had no idea. Even now, months later, he has no idea his friend is falling for him, he just cluelessly makes everything worse, especially because ever since they met, they do video call sometimes, and Chesh is just so pretty (and often doesn’t wear a shirt). Chesh also made him get Snapchat and sends him random stuff.

They live about 6 hours away from each other, and Chesh wants to meet up again sometime but for ‘some reason’ things always get in the way and it gets put off.
