Zoro

 It takes an eternity for him to notice that something is missing. He is not a very conscious boy, you know. Actually, it is more probable that you  have to give him a signal that he is not with all his belongings, and that’s exactly what you’ve decided to try today.

“Don’t you like my new earrings, dear?” You asked him unpretentiously in the afternoon while he’s training.

“Hm” is all his reply. He continued the training, giving no mind to you.

“So I can keep them?” You come closer, but this time showing him your ears. While he still doesn't give you attention, you proceed “I think they look better on me anyway, don’t you think?”

When he finally raised his head to look at you he got surprised, and then confused. One of his earrings was on your ear, not his. Zoro touched his own head looking for his favorite accessory, but one of them is missing. Not knowing how it happened, he asked confuse:

“How did you do that?” 

You giggle a little, giving the earrings back to his owner. “Well, if you start paying more attention to me, maybe I tell you my little secret” 

You stand up and start walking to the door behind you with a funny smile on your face. You’re ready to go, when you hear Zoro say

“Hey.” you stopped and turned back to him, but he's not looking at you anymore “If you like them so much maybe I'll buy you a pair” He then proceeded training, acting like nothing happened. You, otherside, suddenly feel your cheeks get hotter. You turn back again, leaving the room faster than before, looking clearly embarrassed. 

Noting what happened, Zoro lets a little smile decorate his face. He now has to remember to borrow some bellys from Nami.

Sanji is getting frustrated. He passed the last 15 minutes looking for his favorite apron, but couldn't find it anywhere. At this point he’s one step away from yelling at that stupid Marimo for stealing it from him, when he heard a familiar voice coming from the other side of the kitchen.

“Hello, beautiful boy” You say with a mischievous smile on your face “Are you looking for something?" 

The poor man almost fainted when he saw you. You’re in your everyday clothes, but above them his favorite apron is shaping your body. His eyes lay upon your waist, seeing how the apron was so tight that leaves little to imagination. The sight brought him closer to death.

“Mon amour” He comes closer to you as a thirsty man “I think I'm dazzling a piece of heaven on earth. My eyes have never been blessed with such a delightful sight” 

You laugh at his reaction, but can help but find it cute. It is just a prank with an apron, after all. That aside, you want to take some advantage of the situation.

“Oh, dear. If it is your reaction seeing me with the apron, imagine how would it be without.” Imagination, in this case, was not necessary. As soon as the words came out of your lips, Sanji was already petrified, lost in his own mind full of images and scenarios of you without the apron. You start to wonder if this is how Boa uses her powers.

Besides Sanji can’t think straight, his mouth makes some effort to express a wish from the depths of his heart. With a weak breath, almost whispering, he said:

“I would kill a man to see that." Said he, with a voice that only a falling man could do.

Such worship started to embarrass you. You mean only to play a prank with your crewmate, but now you think he is talking seriously. Actually, you really believe that he was, somehow, hypnotized by you. You take the apron off, and pull it on him. When your hand touch his neck, you can almost feel the spell you cast on him coming back to you. You take a little distance, and with a shy smile you let the surrendered man do his job.

“I hope you make that dessert you make on sunday again” 

When you leave, Sanji comes back to himself. Shit, the sight of heaven that he just witnessed messed with his head. He went to the fridge, searching for strawberries for the dessert you asked for.

He had to tell the crew that lunch would be late today.

ive NEVER spread hate on anything the series did regardless of my opinion on their decisions and plot holes and whatnot, and boy oh boy is not easy being a whovian ive been accepting everything with an open heart, yeah you wanna retcon shit? you wanna leave a plot open for ever? you wanna over do nostalgia? alright, i'm here to have fun and love all the things that made me fall in love with the series, i can ignore things that were not my taste, DW was never about being a flawless production anyway, it was always about HEART but you know what? I can only be so patient for so long! This finale has a list of things that made me watch the whole thing in denial, not wanting to believe my own eyes, trying my best to trust the show until the end just to end up in desbelief and as frustrated as i was watching Star Wars episode 9. And you know what, I could still take all of this shit but i can only be so patient when it comes to dealing with BIPOC characters with so much cowardice. So take my hand and let's take remember how RTD writes them? I will not even take into account the annoying outcast boyfriend of female (white) lead, Mickey, or the let's play with Asian stereotypes but hide them under an alien mask, Chanto. let's look at the big ones, shall we? Martha Jones - had one great episode centered on herself as the great heroine at the end, and it's implied she becomes this motherfucking cool UNIT agent that we don't get to see much. Collaborates with torchwood, etc. BUT, her own series: always is standing on Billie shadows, always rejected by the 10th for not being Rose, always humiliating herself for a one sided love, like despite her brains and her skills her life was revolved around that alien man. No so much important as she could be (she had potential to be greater than Billie even) compared to all other companions on RTD era including the ones that last one episode. and that's it for RTD 1.... RTD 2: he did some nice things: got our first officially Black Doctor (remember we still have Jo Martin pending, no one knows her story yet), he did an entire episode with 100% black cast taking the Doctor to Africa (bc Ncuti asked). First time 100% non-white Tardis, as Belinda Chandra becomes companion. Great. BUT

instead of introducing our first black doctor normally, there's a twist! He had to share his big moment, big reveal, big spotlight with David Tennant - for fan service purposes. Has our first black doctor sharing the tardis with a white blond girl (and don't take me wrong, i love Ruby, just stay with me here a bit), alrite, she has a black wonderful family, super well written, super charismatic. 2nd companion Belinda. Don't even have a whole series for herself to shine. I don't feel her like a companion at all since she don't even agree to be there and it's all only circumstantial. She's a great character, but don't show so much grow. Disappear for a whole episode that we have Ruby back (the episode is great, but again, keep with me here cause i have a point). Ruby is the one that saves the day on the finale (both Wish and Poppy issues) while Belinda is more like a background character. The Rani: once again, comes from a white character and has to share her big entrance with her. Is underwritten has always to share screen time with Ms. Flood and presumably dies at the end while her white counterpart survives.

Jo Martin is not RTD's fault, but he DID had time to fix this and chose not to. We had literally seconds of her onscreen. Then we have Ncuti regeneration. Beautiful scene, beautiful moment with Jodi, but come on! Not even Eccleston had so little screen time as the doctor as he had! And he had to regenerate on a blonde woman only for fan service purposes again??? Can we see a pattern here? BlPOC RTD's characters always stands on white characters shadows, they're always underused, always have to share their spotlight and this kinda make it seems that all the positive representation stuff he had done in the series was for show this is sad, is frustrating and i can't tolerate this anylonger quoting Eccleston here: "Sack Russel T Davies" (i mean absolutely no hate to anyone from the cast, great team, great actors, only love to them)

The religious trauma commentary is at your face for the last episode. The direction and symbolism is gorgeous. I love how in the last episode, we got at least one kid who supported them to escape.

(And I know there's more! Those spotlights during the performance is too deliberate for someone not to be in on it!!!)

But the Director (or Dean to make it easier for myself) came and ruin it for them because that guy has a hero complex so big, he becomes the WORST (villain wise, not writing wise) character, and I'm loving it.

the thing about romcoms is just- it's never meant to be 'is it believable?' but instead 'do you believe it?' do you believe these two characters are actually falling in love with each other??? do you believe their chemistry??? do you believe whatever obstacle is thrown in their way is legitimately something that might keep them apart for a time and not something that could be solved with one conversation?? do you believe that they believe they need to fake date for this very specific reason??? do you believe the reason why they're 'enemies' at the start, no matter how silly a misunderstanding it may be??? do you believe the grand romantic gesture fits the characters and is actually how one character would show their love to the other?? like!!!! it's about empathy and authenticity and feeling what the characters feel so strongly that even if it's a trope or a cliché it doesn't matter because you believe it

Y'know guys, I'm surprised being possessed by and having a demon exorcised out of you leaves you in one piece and with little to no sequels (based on what I have read on the subject online). How do you get out of letting a demon possess your body without any long-term symptoms?? Several people in this episode were momentarily disfigured and forced to kick a demonic presence out of their bodies and they're just?? A-okay after a bit?? Past feeling light-headed and weak?? No, guys, legit, I'm almost done iconing this episode and now I cannot get these thoughts out of my mind, like- THEY LET MOLOCH POSSESS THEM!! There should be MORE PROBLEMS HERE besides the sheer EMOTIONAL DAMAGE these kids suffered from seeing Moloch's remains and knowing they were not good enough to save him. Not like that's not enough of a problem as is, seeing these kids upset hurts me. I would be surprised if they had not spent a couple of days sick in bed or, at least, feeling absolutely defeated and even depressed. Especially the latter.
