every so often I look into different hairstyles that might not drive me mad to wear (because I've been told that my preferred hairstyle of a low ponytail doesn't help my babyface situation) and then I just have to navigate away because WOW, this is a thing for people who are Not Me, Huh!

#me #partly because sensory stuff (''use these products to hold your hair in place!'' No.)#partly because that is TOO MUCH EFFORT FOR THAT END PRODUCT IMO #(''five minute high ponytail technique!'' that hairstyle should NOT take more than two)#sometimes the how-to guides pull out statements like ''use your dedicated toothbrush to stroke the flyaway hairs smooth'' and I'm just #WHO HAS A TOOTHBRUSH FOR THEIR HAIR??? WHY WOULD THAT BE A THING???#like. I understand using tools where you can get them. and a toothbrush is definitely better than some needlessly expensive Special Brush #but if a hairstyle requires you to have a Dedicated Hair Toothbrush then it is simply not a hairstyle for me
