I really hope one day VR can become something affordable and fun and not a constant chore to use
#half life alyx is cool and when the hardware works and you're in the game it's fun#but immediately after i finish a play session (which can't ever be more than 2 hours long) i just think to myself#''jesus christ do i really gotta do this for 14+ hours''#the answer is yes i do because i am committed to experiencing all the cool shit and the story for myself#but idk man. i wish we could just have VR that connects directly to your brain SAO style.#i think i'm going to sell my hardware after i'm done though. this and elite dangerous are the only things i ever wanted it for anyhow#and i'll have done both those things with no interest in doing them again sooo
