man ive avoided using the deadname remover extension for so long because im not really bothered enough by my own deadname to need it for that, and honestly my deadname doesnt come up pretty much ever except for when i have to fill out official stuff. like, its not an uncommon name but its not common enough that its a problem basically.

but what does bother me is some trigger stuff, like theres a certain name i just cant fucking stand and it comes up enough because its a fairly common name, and i just couldnt take it anymore and finally downloaded the extension for that, and its weirdly great to see that name replaced because of the extension... like its just gone. it just feels good.

if only that extension worked on mobile, and also worked on apps. i dont know how i personally would improve the tumblr blacklisted words/tags system but it sure isnt the best that the words you have blacklisted are there anyway when you scroll past a post... im usually good about not being tempted to open a post with blacklisted words, but sometimes i really am too curious, especially when its trigger words. mostly so i can block anyone involved lol

HOT TAKE: Why I don't ship SNS

Do you really know what is disturbing about SNS shippers? It's that they probably have more reason than anyone else in this fandom to ship Sasuke and Naruto together in a romantic trope thanks to what Kishimoto was able to write about the two of them, but also don't realize that they're being totally hypocritical when they're fighting with the SS/NH shippers. Because yes Naruto and Sasuke having the strongest bond of the manga remains canon but Naruto and Sasuke together in a romantic context remains totally toxic. One is a pro will of fire and voluntarily spent 3/4 of his youth chasing another who had claims of change after having lived a horrible trauma that Konoha, the same village that Naruto defends above all without having asked once the question to Sasuke why he nourished so much hatred towards this disastrous nation and where came his sudden desire to change the corrupted system in which they all evolved and grew up … No in reality Naruto didn't save Sasuke from the darkness, he just caught him in the same propaganda that he had to repeat to himself every day at breakfast in order to continue living. Naruto was written as a messiah who brings peace and preaches the good word that will always go in the direction of the will of the fire, and Sasuke was the little lost lamb of the flock who had to find his way back as someone who lost faith and strayed from the right path… Naruto had to be the one who put him back on the right path and the right reason… Well, it's a success. This same Naruto that you all love, succeeded in the end to make Sasuke a good boot licker of Konoha and to crush his desire of revenge towards a nation that literally ruined his life. Naruto ruined my favorite character. This is why I will never ship SNS, because Naruto never helped Sasuke, he just enslaved him. In this case, he is not better than Sakura who guilt trapped Sasuke to marry her... you know what I mean.

The gills and scales of people from watertribes: the scales have different colours. All in the blue shades. It just depends on your parents scales before you. So if your parent had rather cyan scales you would also have rather cyan ones. In the Southern watertribe it's typically cyan scales and darker blue scales while in the northern watertribe people have more violet or purple scales. The gills regulate warmth. If it's to warm its easyer for someone from the watertribe/someone with gills to explerience a heatstroke or heat exhaustion. But normaly they are hypersensitive to warm/cold. They also help keep people warm in the watertribes. But it depends on the temperature they were raised in because if they were raised in the a rather warm environment like the earthkingdom it would make little to no change aka they make it worse. Because they are hypersensitive it leads to people who didn't grow up in the watertribe getting cold really fast.

Wings are connected to the spine and the brain directly. So if an airnomad is born with one wing hald a wing or no wings they are disabled (parapletic to be precise) which just means they cannot walk. It can/will cause brain damage. The wings are out of muscle that is good hidden under the feathers. The stronger the muscles the faster you can fly. If someone hurts their wing it will cause them to have poor balance, trip over easily, exhaustion, have bad coordination, have difficulty remembering stuff etc. And a plucking of an airnomads feather feels like a chink of muscle getting ripped out. Luckily it depends on the diet how fast feathers grow back. But a broken/hurt/damaged/non existing wing can not be healed by a waterbender. It needs it's time. Wings will fluff up if the airnomad is cold or get's goosebumps.

Horns are fun. They r conected to the scull and are out of bone which is actually normal even in our world lol. And if aomeone breaks someone else's horn/s the person is instantly dead lol. Horn touching (if someone touches your horns) is a sign of trust.

And now to the sneak tails with spikes :D. These are cool because they are normally also genetic. Depends on your parents color. Normally they are green and depending on the person's power they have a dark green outline if powerful/strong and none if not. But since Toph invented metal bending her and future metalbenders have a thin silver coloured outline and not green. A darkgreen outline is very uncommon. If the person is mixed, for example watertribe and earthkingdom parents. They have blue scales fading into green ones with a dark green outline. If it's firenation there is a black outline and if it's airnormad there is no change lol. If you are a nonbender your spikes are white while for benders they are black. Loosing a spike isn't always deadly but can be. You can eather trigger them on your own or not. They get triggered in stressful and/or lifetreatning situations :D

i have this weird gripe about some of the ways people say he should be solely written when it comes to romance oriented scenarios. like if you go remotely astray from 'he's callous and unrelenting to a fault and you just have to deal with that all the time :)))' then it's considered 'ooc' which is apparently a cardinal sin amongst writing self indulgent shit about fictional goddamn characters

i am aware of how rough around the edges and emotionally distant he can be. that's part of the whole fucking trope. the idea that someone like that ISN'T solely some unloving monster. that they HAVE the capacity to be soft and sweet and loving. it's something that's been there the whole time. it was all just waiting for someone to relent to 

anyway not trying to get 2deep5me or anything, i'm just saying personally that the majority of my ship with Varian actually consists of softness and our opposing personalities complimenting each other as opposed to clashing. which i mean is a valid trope in itself but if you have a problem with the idea of varian loving someone enough to frequently be soft... die mad about it :)

also i physically do not have it in me to imagine myself being remotely snarky or anything to him because i'm just Like That™ so DON’T FUCKING YELL AT ME FOR NOT WRITING MY INSERT LIKE THAT, I’M SENSITIVE

the idea of someone being uppity with him and matching his mettle is great (very much a fan of this trope actually) but personally i'm very entertained (and flustered) by the idea of him saying or doing something rough or abrasive and instead of someone like, doing the good ol' sassy instigative back and forth thing he winds up with someone that's so gentle with him that they manage to actually quell his attitude even by a fraction. someone so soft that it actually somehow gets him to ease up a little

and he’s like ‘what the fuck’ because he has no goddamn idea what just happened. just full on emotional whiplash. 

just varian wrynn wolf of the alliance meeting a little doe-eyed priest who looks like he could cry at the drop of a hat and suddenly the kill bill sirens are going off in his head

like he’s in a shitty fucking mood and he’s complaining about something and he feels a gentle touch on his arm 

and he looks over and sees a man that looks like he would shatter into a million pieces if he looked at him wrong, giving him the most genuinely considerate look of compassion he’s ever seen in his goddamn life (aside from the ones from Anduin)
