4. Pick a design choice for the new outfits!

Anything that's weather appropriate!! We missed out on that in Atlas (even if Ruby's fit there is my favourite of the series) and I would like to see that corrected in the desert. Give me some breathable and flowy fabrics. Seems like Weiss is on the right track from the tiny preview we got, but also... her shoulders are going to burn immediately. 😔

8. Any characters you wish had lived?

This is probably the most unpopular opinion on the planet but uh. Jacques Schnee? Or at the very least, I wish that if he absolutely had to die, then the way it happened was different. He was an abusive father, husband, and ceo that hurt a tremendous amount of people. And RWBY does tend to punish characters like that with karmic death often... but having it be at the hands of Ironwood when the tin can was too far off the deep end just left a bad taste in my mouth. Does his family - all of whom have complicated and different feelings about him - even know that's how he died? Or do they just think he fell with Atlas? I guess it served to show just how truly far gone Ironwood was, but imo we knew that before then so it just felt unnecessary to me.

9. Any characters you wish had died?

Not really something I wish on characters, tbh. If anything I wish some characters just hadn't been included in the story to begin with but... /shrug

11. Pitch a new Grimm!

I like the ones that have their own literary allusions for inspiration or some gimmick beyond just Fighting. So maybe something like a Siren or other creature from folklore? 🤔

13. Best idea for a RWBY crossover?

Tbh I can't really think of one. I'm not big on crossovers myself and know they're mostly about trying to expand the audiences of two IPs at the same time. Maybe some proper anime crossovers? Idk how they'd put two magical girl shows together, but that could be fun.

Sienna Khan. I'll never forget what they took from us. 😭

17. Theory for the Relic of Choice?

I like the idea that what we know about it from The Indecisive King isn't the extent of how it works. Fairytales always have some truth, but rarely are they ever the whole truth. Not sure how else it might be different or what its limits might be tho. The semantics sound really complicated to sort out.

18. Theory for the Relic of Destruction?

I can't remember where the idea came from first, but the Relic of Destruction requiring a payment of some kind to be used is interesting to me. Having unique prices to pay that's fairly steep depending on the request would be a decent safety measure for not letting that sword be used excessively by the wrong kind of people.

28. Fairytale character you’d want to see RWBYified?

There are quite a few I'd like to see tbh. Of the top of my head, Thumbelina, Sleeping Beauty, Princess and the Pea, and Swan Lake. Maybe not all of them at once, but certainly some untapped potential in here.

When did you start writing?

I started writing back when I was a child (original stories and in my journals), but my first fanfic was written when I was around 11-12? I'm not sure precisely, but I know I was around those ages and I had no idea fanfictions were a thing. I found out way later fanfictions existed and that some people had the same brainrot as me lmao.

Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?

God, I love Thriller and Horror, but I don't think I'm capable of writing those kind of genres.

Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?

Gillian Flynn! I just love her writing style, how sharp and incisive it is. Also, Anaïs Nin. I haven't read her works yet, but I have seen way too many quotes around here, and I love what she was trying convey with her writing. And of course, I love Jeffrey Eugenides' writing style too (tho I haven't read The Marriage Plot yet, so I could be disappointed).

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?

My tiny kitchen 😂😭 I sit on my chair with my phone (I know this is terrible, but I can't write on my laptop) near the open window, and I just write what's going on in my mind. Also, cigarettes. I need my cigarettes with me to and to smoke to focus on what I'm writing. A bad habit, I know, but everyone has their own vices, I guess?

What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?

Honestly, anything. Can be a song, a movie or a TV show, a book or a picture.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?

Yes, childbirth and pregnancy are two of the main themes I love to explore because they touch me personally, so it comes as no surprise. Also, sibling incest between brother and sister obviously, and I love writing Jaime and Cersei being married which is kinda funny because I guess marriage is not for me? But yes, I love giving them that, what they couldn't have in canon.

What is your reason for writing?

Oooof, because I have too many ideas? And I like to explore the "What if?" that create endless possibilities. I also need to put my blorbos in situation lmao.

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

Oh, I never thought about that question before. I would say as someone welcoming? Maybe charming and warm, who tries her best to feed her fandom?

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

I think I have the ability to create a cozy and heart-warming atmosphere. At least, that's what people compliment me about.

How do you feel about your own writing?

Uh, I hate it most of the time 😔 Sometimes, I'm impressing myself, like "Wow, I really wrote that!", but most of the time I hate my writing style (tho I've gained confidence over the years, someone claps). I wish it could be more poetic and less dull.

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely for yourself, or a mix of both?

For myself first and foremost, because as I said, I have too many ideas, and I need to put Jaime and Cersei in situations, but each comment fills me with joy. To know someone enjoyed what I had in my mind, and took the time to read it and leave a comment? There's no better feeling, but I don't think I'm influenced by what people wants to read (or otherwise I would write for a more popular ship LOL).

👻 What is your wildest headcanon?

I mean all my opinions are factually correct so… Jk, jk. Kind of a tricky question, tho 🤔

I know I’ve said this before but I kinda never know when character / canon interpretation or interpolation crosses over into headcanon territory. Plus I generally do try to be pretty canon-compliant and base my interpretations on that.

Basically, for all those folks making headcanon lists and stuff, my brain just does not work that way and not sure I'd ever be able to produce one of my own.

Honestly, I’m totally drawing a blank here, sorry 😔 I guess if I’ll ever throw something wild into a fic, you’ll find out?

Only thoughts I can even kinda grasp rn are nsfw and uhhh some of those are definitely more personal wish fulfillment than actual headcanons.

💕 What is your favorite fic that you’ve written?

Aaa how can I even choose.

I mean also a big chunk of it is smut and a lot of it isn’t widely available (and I probably can’t remember the existence of half of it off the top of my head), so…

I suppose in some sense Of Cows and Curses and Consequences (Hatsuharu x reader, Fruits Basket) is my magnum opus, at least as far as longfic and plotting is concerned. Yes, it is very unfinished and I haven’t touched it in ages, but I worked so properly on that one, outlining my chapters and the story (like, I’ve got notes like 10 chapters ahead of what’s been published), which makes it stand out. Plus it was one of the first if not the first fic I ever wrote (if we don’t count the beginnings of a young teenager self-insert for Earth’s Children that never made it past couple hand-written pages). So yeah, a bit of a “go big or go home” start to my fic writing journey. 😅

Also whatever was the first fic I wrote with a friend’s tastes specifically in mind. Always love it when I can get someone right in the feels (definitely a big reason for why I write in the first place, but that’s a story for another time before I get even more off-track).

Honestly there’s so many pieces I could consider notable for being a first in something or otherwise meaningful but I really can’t pick just one.

🎨 If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see?

Oh boy so many Jamil scenes coming to mind. Fixation would have so many tasty bits (some of them even sfw, oop), some whump for the Kali & Shiva analogy thoughts (it could be so cool even if it also would hurt me so bad 😭), Jamil’s first realization moment (or any flustered bit, really) from How Not to Be Swept Under… All of them would be lovely ngl.

Though honestly, if anyone ever were to make anything (draw, write, whatever) inspired by my works, I would probably just combust and live off the high for a week (or a few).

Thanks for the link though! I never knew that he wrote a apology letter to Dale though! The fact that David is remorseful for his actions makes me realize I should have given his character more introspect. Hopefully in the next game, Dale can come to terms with his parents death by reconciling with David, or at the very least understand why he did what he did—That poor detective boy deserves closure. And maybe David knew that something about Dale would be different. They're both special cases of corrupted souls (You explained with David in your link, and Dale seems to switch in and out of his normal self and corrupted soul when leaving the Lake). When he gets the golden cube to hopefully save himself from repeating the same cycle of violence and tragedy by changing his future, maybe he can change David's future too from forever being a wandering corrupted soul This is long and let me know if I have any facts wrong, but aaaa I just love all this

It hurts me to think about them, of how Jakob and David never got the chance to form a bond because they didn't have the time to be brothers and David never really knew him. The only truly innocent collateral I feel tho is Elizabeth. She never harmed anyone. Tho she did get to be reborn as the Lady of the Lake now I suppose while David is the one out of the three siblings who for whatever reason was never allowed his reincarnation.

But David is resilient and has escaped death before. I'm sure he has more tricks up his sleeve. He's a magician after all.

As for him and Dale... Boy, that's a whole new can of worms you're opening up. They're my fav and the idea of them reconciling is the topic of most my art and comics of them. If the two of them just had the chance to meet again and work things out 😭

Dale IS special. He is meant to be the successor of Mr. Owl. And I suppose we will see if he will repeat the cycle or do something different. Mr. Owl wants Dale to get rid of the corrupted souls underneath the lake so I assume that means it's his fate to... Idk? Kill them?? Cleanse them??

But do hope on his journey to do that, that he can meet David one last time for them to put their differences aside... Or idk Dale has the upper hand here, if he wants revenge at that moment he could probably have it.

Tho I hope he doesn't. I hope they make amends, cuz at the end of it all, they're both just pawns for the lake and victims of it all the same. They were both put into these situations under unforgiving and unfair circumstances and they sorta just have to play the hands that they are dealt. 😔

I did talk about this before too but a part of the tragedy of Dale and David is David grew up with a lot of trauma without a mother. He knows what it's like to be in the position he later puts Dale in. Hurt people hurt people, and he repeated the cycle of trauma by putting Dale through it. They'd have an understanding but it would be funny to go "yeah I know how it feels" WHEN YOURE THE ONE WHO PUT THE OTHER PERSON IN THAT SITUATION!

Or maybe all this is just my wishful thinking 😩 I just know I want them to reconcile so bad cuz Dale tried killing David but it didn't fix him. If not revenge, then maybe forgiveness is what he needs to truly heal and move on.

Oh I’m always working on stories! But finishing them?

The truth tea is that I conceptualize a lot of things and just kind of let them gestate over the years. A good example is a story I came up with when I was 16 that I finally put to paper when I was 20. Right now I have 4-5 stories (( 🥹 )) running through my head, though I’m only actively working on two of them. One is technically done, but I don’t think a written story is the format I want for it.

Another is half finished, about a group of plucky college students going on various fantastical adventures of varying lengths and tone. This one is semi-episodic, which made it easy to write bc if I got stuck on one story I could move onto another, since I had already mapped out the characterization that would occur in each, if not the exact exact plot details. Here I got stuck when they arrived in a town and were trying to solve a murder mystery. It’s basically my persona 4 moment where it’s less about solving the mystery and more about the characters you’ve spent some time with having their hidden damage brought to light so they can deal with it as a group. But like. Just like persona 4 I’m trying to tie it all together in an actual mystery and it’s so hard making it compelling. Like each time I plan it out, the villain is made too obvious. Agatha Christie help 😭

The least and but also most finished one is a story I wrote also in high school for NaNoWriMo. It’s so funny in retrospect bc we were doing short stories in our Language Arts class and I was like WAIT what if u took a short story and connected them ! Like if you made a set of short stories set in a town, and the short stories were about all the peoples lives and you could see the way things overlap. And then we learned about Winesburg, Ohio and I was like wig okay. Turns out I didn’t invent the story cycle as an American high schooler in 2011. The finished-ish story is very badly written and was truly written with the worldview of a high schooler, but I am still oddly compelled with its core narrative a decade later. The core narrative being a small town falling apart due to supernatural interference and for those wondering NO I had not seen twin peaks at the time. But also I invented twin peaks.

The ones I’m currently working on are:

1. Smut. I will not elaborate. I will say it’s actually really difficult to write smut bc then I get super horny and need to jerk off and it really ruins the flow of things 😔

2. I wanted to write a YA novel with an absolutely ridiculous premise and I’ve actually had a lot of fun with it. I’ve only written the prologue and the first 3 chapters and probably only planned the first 1/3 of the story but my mind is already churning out themes and characters and scenarios. It’s difficult tho bc it has the YA premise but way too much sex and violence to actually be YA. But I’m also not aiming to sell these stories anyways, just writing them as a hoobyyb wow really wish I spelled that right
