stumbled upon this really cute book series about a throuple but in the second book it keeps focusing on two of them and leaving the third out and it's making me mad LOL

now they've introduced another person as a friend to the throuple but i am soooo untrusting... if they split this throuple into two couples "to make everyone happy" i'm gonna riot

bc how they are writing the scenes with all three of them- everyone in the throuple has feelings for each other!! but then every other chapter it'll be focusing on just two of them and making the third the "third wheel"

it doesn't have to be that way!!!!!!

Can we please treat people like they are NOT robots?

We grow up surrounded by machines. Computers that always work the same until they don’t and we can yell at them as much as we want and just… buy a new one - a better working one.

We expect them to always do their job with the same efficiency until we exchange them for a better - more efficient - model.

If something is not right - if something doesn’t work - we return the item or buy a new one. Or - if we can’t afford it - we send it to be ‘fixed’, which often still means getting a brand new one (just because it is easier and apparently seems cheaper than fixing shit).

We are so accustomed to the work being DONE without complaint and with the same day-by-day efficiency that we ever prefer it over human work. 

Machines have no moods, no worse days, they don’t need sick days off. Their work output is always the same. Upgrades are always expected to make them better and faster. If they’ve done something once without a mistake we assume they would never make any mistakes when doing it again.

And we want (we have started to expect) people to turn metal and, like a robot, work as intended (and what the fuck does that even mean?!).

The perfect human is a fleshy android now. An always hustling, perfectly organized being who turns their emotions, wants and health problems off at work. Without bad days, or at least without visible bad days. They never forget anything, never make mistakes, and always do things on time. They’re always smiling, never exhausted, grumpy, bored or angry. 

The perfect human being is presented as half-human at most and I hate it.
