the urge to attend next year's gamescom cosplaying anya from mouthwashing (which will probably be so unoriginal and there'll probably be sooooo many mouthwashing cosplayers there, similar to how overrun gamescom was when the pokemon game with team skull dropped and there were team skull cosplayers everywhere. also a classmate and i were two of them)

maybe I'll compromise and attend another con earlier in the year...?

been told to use up my pto over the course of the year anyway and not leave it up to the managers to scrabble to fit in all of it into 2 months before the year is through and the pto expires lmao

the con could knock out 4 days of pto if I wanted to attend all 3 days of the con plus a recovery day afterwards... hmm...

#if i can rope a coworker into completing our planned partner cosplay until then and spend a day with me at that con that'd be nice as well #idk ... just #wanna ease back into cosplaying. it's been so long since i last had fun cosplaying.....#i know it'll never be the way it was when i started and had so much teenage nerd fun with so many equally nerdy friends #but i wanna rediscover the joy and whimsy that made me start this hobby i the first place #and maybe flex my rusty skills a bit #like I've sewn two entire military uniforms before so how hard can a simple suit and bowtie look and a teal jumpsuit be lol #difficult parts would be the horns and the facepaint for one cosplay and the appliqués on the other #but other than that. fun with simple clothes and relatively simple wigs and cool details and make up 🙏
