#ive been reading blue period I like them#eff#when i grow my hair out literally. with the long braid So true.#i like uhhh fucking um. what's his name. yakumo. his look. also.#and i wish everyone was nicer to Yuka i will kill you all for Real#anyways characters aside i fucking love the themes that this manga explores and im so enamored with the art of it#the composition and framing of panels is particularly strong and i with the way they utilize movement in this format is so smart#i like it..i needed it a lot at this time tbh i was (and still am) so disillusioned with my career as an artist but i think the perspective#that this provides is something i was missing / had forgotten. like how long has it been since i had fun with art. how long has it been#since I've had time to actually sit down and draw something. it's just a lot to take in and a lot to ruminate on and i really appreciate#this series for exploring that narrative !#anyways i hope the anime is good from what ive seen of it [comma] it seems like the translation from manga to anime is a bit awkward (again#because the framing of it is so strong and that is something that's a bit difficult to recreate in moving animation + the time constraints)#but i think ill check it out anyways bc im caught up with the manga and hungry for more ^_^#sorry for the essay in the tags*looks around* I love you#blue period
