ai ai ai ai. 🥹 can i ask for advise? 👉🏼👈🏼 you sound like you give the best advise hehe.
how do you manage to not feel like you disappoint your followers when you can't always deliver what they expect of you. 😭 like you can't always please everyone (answer everyone's asks, post updates to fic, etc). 🥺 been dealing with this for a while and idk what to do about it aeeee.
thanks. 🩷🩷🩷 satoru loves you a lot he asked me to tell you cuz he's busy with work but he can't wait to be back and see you-- 🫦
( BLOSSOM~ | @siscon-stsg )
blossom my love hello 🤍 my advice sucks but i try my best whenever someone reaches out, thank you for trusting me T^T
while i don’t exactly know what to advise you here, i know what you’re talking about and i’ve felt that way in the past, but over time my mindset changed. so i’ll share my personal experience.
i keep this blog for myself, first and foremost. for my own enjoyment! i like to come here and hang out, talk about what’s on my mind — be it bits and pieces of my life or sharing the thoughts that plague me regarding our beloved pixels, and sometimes i write. i am sure many signed up after coming across my content in the tags and then chose to leave bc this girl is not a regular AHAHAH, but i talk a lot and while certainly this is annoying to some, others find it entertaining and hang out with me!
when i was super anxious about posting regularly, writing-wise and not just concepts and rambles, in the past, i didn’t quite enjoy my stay here. it felt like a chore or a job, it was exhausting tbh. i’ve also come to realize that ppl don’t expect anything from me, it’s me who does that. so, now i do whatever i want AHAHAH — i talk bunch and when inspiration strikes i write, and those who enjoy my online presence overall (regardless of what i put on their dash) stay, while those who no longer fw it leave (and that’s completely valid!) and i know how everyone always talks about this but actually realizing it for yourself is so freeing
i still feel very bad about the asks i take too long to answer or i never get to reply to — idk if there’s a cure for that jaksdks i certainly don’t mean to ignore anybody but sometimes i just don’t know what to say or i don’t have the energy T^T but i am sure most ppl understand this, or so i tell myself AHAHAH
i hope you are able to overcome this feeling bc there’s truly no reason for you to feel this pressured to constantly post or update fics or meet expectations, it will only rob you of the fun you’re supposed to be having on this silly site! 🤍
p.s. pls let satoru know i love him too and he should hurry back home bs i miss him so much :(

Hirano to Kagiura light novel translation 2-1
Chapter 2: Summer preparations.
Part 1
Prev || Next
T/N: (1) Japanese schools typically start summer break much later than Western schools, so that's why they had an entire semester's worth of exams before summer break and why they haven't gone home yet
“Wait, …….hm……?”
Facing his luggage, which is unusually disheveled for him, Hirano groaned.
Even as he turns the bag he’d started packing in preparation for going home inside and out, he can’t find what he’s looking for.
“Not here either, huh…”
He has not a clue where they might be, and he tilts his head at the unexpected turn of events. He’d of course checked the floor, as well as in the bed, the hallway, and even the dining hall.
He always takes them out before he goes to sleep, so there can’t possibly be that many places he could’ve left them. But unfortunately, once something becomes a habit, you stop thinking about it while you do it.
It’s probably not that he put them in a different place from normal after taking them out, but there might have been something out of the ordinary.. In fact, last night Hanzawa had suddenly come over.
Although he’d come inside after hurriedly knocking on the door, he didn’t seem to have anything in particular to do, and had been acting strangely. He had looked uncomfortable too, but—had Hirano taken them out by that point?
He can’t remember clearly.
As he recalls, Kagiura came to this space and was loafing around, saying how nice the freshly washed sheets felt. Thanks to him, they’d gotten all wrinkled, so Hirano had scolded him and made him set them straight.
Because Kagiura hadn’t put the sheets back on before bathing unlike Hirano, the mattress pad was uncovered. Hirano had made him put them on immediately afterward, saying “even so, that doesn’t mean you go invite yourself into someone else’s bed”.
Even if he tries thinking back, he can’t remember the gist of his own movements.
Both the left one and the right one are gone, so the probability that they fell out is low. The backings weren’t loose, so it’s also unlikely they got caught on something. And yet he can’t find them anywhere, a situation that has him scratching his head in frustration.
“What’s wrong? Hirano-san.”
At the sound of the voice that rang out from beside him as he spaced out, Hirano noticed his roommate for the first time since he’d returned.
“Oh, welcome home. It’s not a big deal, but I can’t find my earrings. I thought they fell somewhere around here, though.”
When he added as an afterthought that he doesn’t take them off outside, so they must be in the dorm, Kagiura crouched down to the floor.
“I’ll help you look for them.”
“Thanks, but it’s fine. I’ll find them on my own. Keep an eye out just so you don’t step on them though, okay?”
“Got it. But it’ll be a problem if you don’t find them, right?”
“Yeah, but it’s not like the piercings will close up if I don’t wear them for a day or two. That aside, Kagi-kun, I thought you said you’d be doing free practice today once you got back from dropping off your school bag. You promised your friends you’d be there, didn’t you?”
Under the blazing sun with summer vacation just around the corner, Kagiura apparently still goes on runs despite club activities having ended. He’d exclaimed as much when they’d run into each other at lunchtime.
He was probably venting the stress from the final exams. For Kagiura, unskilled at studying, he’d probably been quite run down by his poor showing on the midterms.
With the support of Hirano, for whom taking care of his kouhai was no struggle, he’d been able to get through them safely, but they were scores that he, even as a sports recommendation student, couldn’t brush off, so he had, as he put it, “studied as a hard as a student preparing for entrance exams”.
Club is on break today because the advisor, current captain, and incoming captain were at a meeting at another school. It is an act of mercy given the temperature, but for Kagiura, who’d just managed to get through exams, it is not fortuitous timing.
“Ah! …..I’m heading out.”
His head snaps up, suddenly fidgety as he remembers.
He’s energetic in spite of the heat.
As he wakes up every day with him and comes to understand his daily routines, Hirano has nothing but admiration for the overwhelming differences in their physical activity.
“See you later.”
At the sight of Kagiura rushing out the door, Hirano’s face suddenly falls.
Ever since he came here, the moment he leaves, the room feels unpleasantly silent.
No other pair in any of the other dorm rooms is a match for his relationship with his roommate, who has completely opened up to him—a fact of which Hirano is proud. He feels it all the more strongly for having been in the kouhai position himself a year ago.
There is just one more week until summer break.
It got a little too quiet.
Hirano’s family home, which houses their family of three, is seldom lively, as his father is quite reticent.
They all get along, and from his point of view as the child, they’re a happy family, but it’s a little lonely for someone who has gotten used to living in a group with age-mates.
“I didn’t think anything of it last year, though…”
Mumbling his grievances, he stands and stretches his aching back.
In his line of sight is the terry cloth blanket rolled up on his kouhai’s bed, in disarray as if to illustrate his trouble with getting up in the morning.
On the off chance that his earrings ended up here, Hirano cautiously searches the sheets before fixing them back in place, but unfortunately they are nowhere to be found. His ears were pierced with titanium earrings, the downside of which is that they’re not particularly shiny, so they’re difficult to find in situations like this.
Reluctantly, Hirano re-packs his bag and gets started on his homework. He’s preparing for the summer term prep school course. Besides that, there’s also countless practice exams.
There is not much leisure time in the summer breaks of high school second years.
It’s not like he’s spending the entire time applying for intensive courses, and he has more time to hang out and go places compared to usual, but the passage of time is most definitely changing from last year.
As long as Kagiura can graduate, he’ll probably also get into college with a sports recommendation.
His gaze going soft at the pointless supposition, Hirano begins solving the problem set.
As if he has entered an empty space cut off from the world, the cries of the cicadas outside become distant. The blood is rushing in his fingertips, and the point where they touch the shaft of his mechanical pencil feels prickly.
Preparations for the cultural festival will begin tomorrow.
In the short time before summer break, each class will work out their plan and divide up the tasks amongst themselves.
It takes a fair bit of time to determine the details of the project. If their plan does not pass through the two-step audition process of an initial document screening and a secondary interview, they will not be able to proceed with it.
That said, events must be limited in the amount of space and materials they are allotted in order to have a high application-to-acceptance ratio. In effect, one could say the classes are like food truck vendors competing with one another for curb space.
For that reason, during this period, when they take charge of the cultural festival planning committee, there are times when they’re so swamped with work that they complain that even studying for exams is easier.
The judging panel consists of representatives from each class’s planning committee, the student council, and a faculty member in charge of the event. The festival judging, which is hard on both those doing the judging and those being judged, will start this week.
Hirano’s class, 2nd year class E, has already started narrowing down their plan, and are contriving to get it past the judging as quickly as possible.
Their plan is to make a haunted house spanning two classrooms and the hallway beside them.
They will remove the door and insert a passageway, using a bigger space than one would typically imagine for a culture festival program and making it difficult to tell how often the lurking ‘ghost’ will appear. The person playing the ghost will work the distance between the entrance and exit, in order to decrease the risk that someone will find out where they’ll be ahead of time and lose interest.
Under the circumstances of blocking the corridor, it will be a one-way street, so implementation of their plan is limited to the vicinity of the staircase, and they must carefully consider emergency exit routes.
The amount of time it takes to prepare the classrooms is enormous, and on top of that they will be dressing in costume, so the amount of enthusiasm they are putting into the cultural festival is considerable.
Even Hirano, who is among the less ardent group, finds his spirits raised.
Now then, what about Kagiura?

SEGStriker2017-10-032 points
For those who can't run this: use old Mac with Mac Classic (up to 9.2.2) OS or MacOS X 10.4 with classic environment. If not possible - use an emulator like Basilisk II (680x0, up to OS 8.1) or SheepShaver (PPC, up to OS 9.1).
Lontra2017-08-023 points
For those of you asking for an update: it is not possible. This is a PPC application and will not run on Intel Macs that don't support Rosetta. So it can't be run on Lion and forward.

You know, I think that's the curse of this site. You get on here to post an update and then you get sucked in and scroll and scroll and scroll. It's the same curse with Instagram and Twitter, I swear.
I'm doing alright, as of now, if anyone was curious from my last update. We're trying to prepare things in such a way that my grandfather is taken care of, which is.... one hell of a work in progress. And it is trying.
In other news, it is May and I am thinking about writing a little ditty to post in honor of it. I'm probably not going to do anything of the sort of a daily post thing or what have you. That's far to much commitment then I'm ready for. But one thing wouldn't be bad, I don't think. I just need to come up with an idea for the writing and the posting. If this is something you may be interested in, I.... make no promises.
Speaking of Twitter and Instagram, I do have both of these as well if anyone would like to follow me on either of them. I'm zenlin5c on Instagram and @CZenlin on Twitter. At this point, I don't post a whole lot on either. Twitter, I mostly like things but have made my first rant thread. About my current read. And on Instagram, my intent is to post my current reads and my hobbies, which is namely paper crafting and card making (Like, greeting cards. Birthday, Christmas, thank you cards. That sort of thing. It's a hobby I picked up awhile ago.) So, if either of those interest you, by all means. I don't know how to make links, so.... at this point that's out.
I may make rant posts about reading. I found Booktube recently and rediscovered my love of reading and not just fanfictions. I think, of the three websites that I post to on the semi regular, that tumblr would be the best format. (I really need to learn how to make read mores. If you see a random post from me that has a read more, please don't be disappointed by it if it isn't much. It will probably be an experiment.) But, I do like this format for long rant posts and we all know that I'll have opinions about reading. So, that may happen.
Tumblr is a decent void and I like the format the most. So, we'll see what happens in the future. It may or may not work.
What's all of your current reads? Book or fanfiction wise. If you aren't reading anything, are you watching something? Let me know.
#ferret rambles#personal life#books#reading#not nearly as unhinged as I can get#I'm currently reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Why You Shouldn’t Try to Rank #1 on Google
email marketing email list
Do you know what the number one email request I get is?
Come on, take a guess. What do you think it is?
Ok, its people asking me for money.
But, do you know what the second most common email request I get is?
Companies asking me to rank them number 1 on Google for a specific term.
And I have to say, it’s a big waste of time for you to focus all of your energy on ranking number 1 on Google for a specific term or even a handful of terms.
Just take a look at my site… here’s my Google traffic over the last 31 days:
As you can see from the graph, I’m generating 2,375,455 organic visits from search engines each month.
And can you guess how many keywords I’m tracking when it comes to my rankings?
A big fat ZERO!
I’m not saying I don’t do SEO, I’m saying I don’t focus on rankings.
Can you increase your search traffic without tracking rankings?
The short answer is yes.
As you saw from the graph above, I’m getting over 2 million visits from organic search each month. If you look back a year, I was getting 970,459 visitors a month from search.
In other words, I was able to grow my organic search traffic by 144% in roughly 12 months. That’s not too shabby considering I don’t focus on any one particular keyword.
So why don’t I focus on specific keywords or track my rankings?
Number 1 doesn’t guarantee the most clicks
Ahrefs recently did a study where they showed how being number 1 doesn’t guarantee the greatest number of clicks.
The number 1 listing gets the majority of the traffic only 49% of the time. Don’t get me wrong, I would rather be number 1 than number 2, but getting there doesn’t guarantee the most amount of traffic.
And over time it’s just going to get worse.
Just look at how SERP listing pages looked in 2014.
Now let’s look at how SERP listings look today.
What are the big differences that you see?
Paid listings blend in – paid listings aren’t as clearly defined as they used to be. In other words, they blend in, which helps ads generate a higher percentage of the clicks.
Localized listings can be ads – the first listing in the localized listing is also paid.
The right side no longer has ads – most of the elements on the right side, when you click on them, drive you to perform another Google search.
Less organic listings – the homepage only has 9 organic listings if you exclude the localized listings.
Organic results are pushed down – not only do the paid and local listings show first, but news results are also in-between the organic results. This causes the 3rd, 4th, 5th… organic result to get fewer clicks.
The common trend is people are focusing on the paid ads more than the organic listings. And organic listings are no longer guaranteed to be as high up as they once were.
Just look at this eye tracking study of a Google SERPs result.
It clearly shows how the paid ads have the majority of the attention.
So, does this mean you should give up?
No, I am not trying to paint a picture of how you shouldn’t try to rank high on Google or that SEO is useless. Because although Google keeps adjusting the layout of their SERPs page, it’s still the most popular site in the world.
Commanding 57.34 billion visits a month means… you have no choice but to do SEO!
But you shouldn’t waste your time thinking about each and every change Google is making because it’s out of your control.
Just look at how many algorithm changes they made in the last 12 months. It’s too hard to keep up with each change or predict Google’s next move. That’s why I take a different approach to get ahead of Google’s upcoming algorithm changes.
I focus on user experience.
What should you do?
You aren’t going to be able to control your rankings for every single one of your keywords… especially if you are doing SEO the right way.
The majority of your traffic should be coming from long tail phrases. Just look at my blog, I rank for 477,000 keywords.
That’s far too many keywords to track on a regular basis.
I focus on 3 things:
Create an amazing user experience – Google doesn’t want to rank sites at the top that are the “best optimized.” They want to rank the site that users love the most at the top. So, focus on providing that and, in the long run, you should rank higher.
Overall organic traffic growth – keywords have trends and they change in popularity over time. Instead of focusing on a handful of keywords or even a few hundred, I just focus on increasing my overall organic traffic. As long as it keeps climbing quarter over quarter, I’m happy.
Conversion rate – more traffic doesn’t guarantee more sales. I continually optimize my conversion rates so that each additional organic visitor I get has a higher chance to convert into a customer.
And I know I said I focus on 3 things, which is true… but every once in a while I focus on one more thing. It’s updating my old content.
If I had to add in a 4th, it would be updating my old content. Even though I know SEO fairly well, there is no guarantee the even my traffic keeps going up and to the right.
Just like you, my traffic drops every once in a while.
It sucks when your traffic just drops 6.94% in a week and it is scary when that trend continues. But when it does happen, follow this and you can reverse the trend of your declining traffic.
Which strategy should you follow?
There are a few SEO strategies I use to get more traffic that still work well today. If you follow them, you should get more traffic over time:
Globalization – search isn’t too competitive outside of English. That is changing fast though, so I would follow these globalization tips as soon as possible.
Off-page SEO – it still impacts rankings significantly and you can’t ignore it. Here are 6 off-page strategies you should follow.
Link building – here’s one of my favorite strategies for link building… it works really well. Even if you have a new site and no one knows who you are, you will be able to build links using it.
Land and expand – you already rank for terms on Google. This strategy will allow you to turn one ranking into hundreds.
Brand building – Google wants to rank brands higher than non-brands. Follow this as it will help you build a brand.
There are tons of other tactics and strategies that people are using, but the 5 main ones I mentioned above still work well in today’s competitive search landscape.
Conclusion
Yes, you want to continually improve your search traffic over time, but obsessing over whether or not a keyword is ranking number 1 doesn’t mean much.
SEO has moved to a long-tail strategy. The goal isn’t to rank for one keyword, or even a hundred or a thousand… the goal is to rank for hundreds of thousands if not millions of keywords over time.
And as long as that trend is continually going up and to the right, you’re fine.
One way to see if things are going directionally right is to use Ubersuggest. When you put in your domain, you’ll see a chart that looks something like this:
You want the total number of keywords to increase over time and you want the small green bar to continually go up over time as that means a higher portion of your listings are moving up in Google.
So, are you going to continue focusing on rankings?

You want the total number of keywords to increase over time and you want the small green bar to continually go up over time as that means a higher portion of your listings are moving up in Google.
So, are you going to continue focusing on rankings?

Why You Shouldn’t Try to Rank #1 on Google

Sereno Eye Cream Review (UPDATED 2017): Don’t Buy Before You Read This!
Sereno Eye Cream is a cream that was designed to revitalize the skin around the eyes. The official website claims this product may be used as a lower cost alternative to procedures or injections.
Sereno Eye Cream works to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles, creating a youthful look with regular use. Additionally, this product may help reduce puffiness and bags under the eyes.
After reviewing countless creams, promising ageless eyes and more, we have found that Kremovage best delivers the hydration, protection and repair users are looking for. Rich in antioxidants and bolstered by hyaluronic acid, peptides and more, this product erases visible signs of aging short order. Read more about Kremovage and the powerful ingredients that make up its luxurious formula.
Do You Know the Best Eye Creams of 2017 ?
Sereno Eye Cream Ingredients and Side Effects
Sereno Eye Cream may contain the ingredients we’ve profiled below. Because there’s no clear official website and no product label posted, we don’t know if these are, in fact the active ingredients. Regardless, here’s a look at what is reportedly included in this blend:
Vitamin C Acetyl-Hexapeptide-3
Acetyl-Hexapeptide-3: An ingredient also known as argireline, is a synthetic peptide developed by a Spanish company known as Lipotec. This substance limits facial movement—like a topical form of Botox—reducing the visible signs of aging with use—wrinkles, expression lines, etc.
Vitamin C: Vitamin C has a wide range of skin benefits. It is thought to firm up sagging skin by stimulating the production of collagen. Vitamin C is also a powerful antioxidant. This ingredient works to neutralize the free radicals created from things like pollution or sun damage.
And, vitamin C may also reduce brown and red spots with use, due the the vitamin’s ability to help the skin to heal itself.
Click here to learn more about treating and preventing fine lines and wrinkles.
Sereno Eye Cream Quality of Ingredients
We never get to see an actual product label for Sereno Eye Cream, which may be one of the least offensive strikes against it.
We found a blog post that profiled this product, and it seems that the active ingredients may be vitamin C and acetyl-hexapeptide-3. These ingredients may work to reduce free radical damage and increase collagen production with use, but it remains to be seen—we don’t know what’s actually in this product, meaning it could contain harmful ingredients or be made almost entirely from filler items.
Sereno Eye Cream appears to have been created for the sole purpose of enrolling consumers in a shady free trial scam—it’s not a credible eye cream and consumers should try a product from an established brand. Peptides and vitamin C are not hard to come by.
The top ten eye creams of 2017…so far. Click here to check out our experts’ picks.
The Price and Quality of Sereno Eye Cream
Sereno Eye Cream does not appear to be sold on the official website, but users may sign up for a free trial, in which they provide their credit card information to cover shipping and handling fees.
The site features a lot of broken links, redirects to different products and no information regarding pricing. Nor do we ever get to see a product label.
Sereno Eye Cream, according to those who have been caught up in the autopay cycle, is $85 for a one-month supply. But, it’s worth noting that it contains some effective active ingredients and consumers do really seem to love this product.
Amazon, however, does sell this product from a handful of third-party sellers—for $69.59, plus shipping—for a 15 mL jar.
Most people likely are wary of spending upwards of $80 on an eye cream, much less one that never provides any critical product info. Based on the information we’ve gathered, it’s fair to assume this cream is not a good value.
EDITOR’S TIP: Combine this product with a proven eye cream such as Kremovage for better results.
Learn more about the antiaging powerhouse herbs, acids and oils — click for the details.
Business of Sereno Eye Cream
The first thing we noticed when we began our research into Sereno Eye Cream was, there were a lot of mentions of scams everywhere from RipOff Report to Amazon.
According to several past users, the makers of Sereno Eye Cream are engaging in a free trial scam—asking consumers to pay the shipping charges for a free trial, and two weeks later, $85 is charged to their card.
While the reviews for this product, aside from scam mentions look pretty good, it’s clear that this company is not particularly trustworthy.
On the Better Business Bureau site, the company comes off as defensive and seems confused by consumers’ requests for reimbursement.
Sereno Eye Cream is meant to be used alongside another product known as Joven Skin Care, which runs consumers another $89.95 per 30-day supply.
In addition to the questionable sales techniques, this company has been accused of using unauthorized images of Martha Stewart, claiming the personality as a celebrity spokesperson. They’ve also been pretending that this product was endorsed by Good Housekeeping.
Another issue is, there’s no clear website for this product. A website known as antiagingoutcomeinfo.com features marketing language for Sereno Eye Cream, along with prompts for users to claim their free trial.
Those calls to action link to different products, also offering a free trial. Of all the creams associated with this company (whoever they may be), none of them come with any pricing information or a coherent list of benefits.
Customer Opinions of Sereno Eye Cream
Sereno Eye Cream does not have good reviews. Because this company does not appear to follow basic business practices, it seems unlikely that this product would live up to the expectations advertised.
Yet, despite all the claims of fraudulent charges, hard to cancel auto-pay cycles and other red flags, some users thought this product was worth giving a chance.
Below, we’ve included some of the comments people posted online about their experience with Sereno Eye Cream:
“I’ve yet to see any meaningful results from using Sereno. Wish I just went to Sephora or something and asked the employees for help. This product is both expensive and useless. Stay far away from them!”
“Don’t fall for this nonsense. Any beauty product that needs to trick people into making a purchase likely isn’t worth trying. Wish I had known better—now I’m saddled with this ineffective cream.”
“I’ve only been using Sereno Eye Cream for just over a week and I have mixed feelings. Not sure I like the marketing, but I think I’m starting to see a difference. We’ll see how it goes.”
“Beware, this product is a total scam. They suck you in with a free trial offer and two weeks later, you’re on the hook for $85 every month until you can manage to get in touch with a customer service rep.”
Sereno Eye Cream has pretty dismal reviews. Most users reported that this product has simply a scam, and didn’t expand much on whether or not the physical product worked.
Understandably, the negative customer service experience likely soured the idea of using this cream.
Though this product was featured on Amazon, we still never learn anything new about the ingredient profile—the e-commerce site does not include a label and no users posted one themselves or commented on the formula.
In all, it’s telling that the most positive comment we found in the reviews was that a user had “mixed feelings” about the cream. Likely, this person was trying to justify an expensive experience and not waste the product.
Erase those lines — take a look at our guide to the best skin creams and eye solutions.
Conclusion – Does Sereno Eye Cream Work?
We do not recommend Sereno Eye Cream. It’s clear this company cannot be trusted, based on their unauthorized endorsements, their tricking people into signing up for a free trial and more—there’s no reason anyone should buy this product.
Sereno Eye Cream doesn’t come with a list of ingredients, and even if they did, it’s likely this company would lie about its contents. Customer reviews were few and far between, but those we found highlighted a sense of disappointment—both with the efficacy of this product, and the fact that some of these consumers got trapped in an unethical sales scheme.
Even the reported ingredients don’t make sense. Vitamin C and argerine are not especially rare—especially given all the beauty brands at every single price point—we have access to so many legitimate options from the drug store to the designer brands.
Kremovage is our experts’ top choice when it comes to eye creams. The makers of this product know that the skin around the eye is more delicate than the rest of the face, and prone to wrinkles and damage. This product uses nourishing ingredients like green tea, jojoba oil, hyaluronic acid and others to prevent crow’s feet, reduce puffiness and erase dark circles for good.
Kremovage is created by a team dedicated to providing customers with the best eye cream possible—without any harsh chemicals or unsavory preservatives. Click the link here to learn more about the ingredients used to make Kremovage.

11 Social Media Marketing Tips to Help You Avoid Social Media Failure!
Used correctly social media marketing can give you a platform for brand awareness, exposure, networking, and a huge boost in traffic & sales. The problem is, most people don’t know how to use the social media properties correctly…
Social media marketing gives you an edge over larger competitors. Studies show that most companies are not yet adopting social media, leaving a sweet gap for the “little guy” to do big business in that space.
Follow these 10 simple tips to create your own strategy for Social Media Marketing success:
1. Map Out Your Social Media Strategy
What is it you most hope to accomplish with your social media marketing plan? What response do you expect from your target market? Ideas to consider in your overall objective might include:
-Branding -Networking -Exposure -Inbound Links/SEO -Relationship/Trust Building -Customer Relations (think @comcastcares on Twitter)
2. Connect With Your Target Market
Get an image of your ideal customer or website visitor clearly in your mind. Who are they? What are they searching for? What do they want and need the most? What do you feel they expect from you through social media communications?
Consider what they experience on their end in everything you do. They are the person that you want to attract into your funnel, so you want to make a great impression – and also include a strong, specific call-to-action.
3. Offer Consistent, Quality Content
The content that you post to social media properties should be both consistent as in regular updates, and also consistent with your overall message or objective.
If you are an MLM recruiter for example, provide quality resources for recruits. If you own an ecommerce gardening site, offer gardening tips. Whatever your message, you want to make it consistent across the web.
This helps you achieve your branding objectives, and allows you to create the perception that you want people to have of you or your company. Anyone who follows you online should easily be able to fill in the blank: (You/Your Company) is known for ___ .
Being consistent with your message and your branding also lends toward your goal of relevance and theming when it comes to SEO, or Search Engine Optimization.
4. Focus on Content, Not Marketing
Most people get this backwards. If you focus on valuable, high-quality content then that content will do the marketing for you.
You shouldn’t have to digg or bookmark your own content, but rather focus on writing such great content that your readers give it an unsolicited digg or stumble for you.
Your job is to write, and provide easy access to social media services where your readers can share your content with their friends & groups.
When people like what you have to say, they will share it – period. And when they share it, the search engines will take notice. Write top quality content & updates, and let the rest happen naturally.
5. Caution! Do Not Over-Optimize
Social Media Marketing can help you achieve top search engine rankings for specific keyword phrases. But be careful… because there is such a thing as over-optimization.
Using the same anchor text everywhere that you link to (or request a link to) your site leaves a ‘digital footprint’, throwing up a red flag that you may be trying to manipulate the search results (or PageRank).
Avoid this by using natural variations in anchor text for the links that point back to your primary website. You need a certain number of “click here” or similar links to give balance to your optimization strategy.
6. Stop Linking To Your Home Page!
Social media is about micro-topical conversations, so consider how you can introduce internal offers or pages of your website into these conversations.
This will keep your groups and followers engaged in the topic at hand, and provide higher value to your readers.
These deep links, or links pointing to internal pages on your site or blog, help it gain authority in the search engines as well. All other things being equal between two identical websites, the one with more deep links will outrank the other. This also gives you more exposure in the search engine results, since your internal pages will begin ranking for specific relevant keyword phrases.
Tip: Your home page may not be the best link to share on your Profile while networking on social sites. Consider linking to your “about me” page instead for a more personable introduction to you and your site.
7. Provide a Valuable Resource
There’s a reason its called Social Media, and not Self-Promotional Media. Keep that in mind when you consider your social media marketing plan.
If all you post is self-promotional links and requests, you will eventually become a part of the “noise” and ultimately be filtered out by your target market. They may not unfollow or delete you, but they will begin to scan over your posts and tweets without even realizing it.
Avoid this by becoming a valuable resource in your niche. Share links to domains that you don’t own. And I don’t mean your own Squidoo pages or Facebook profiles – I mean domains you have ZERO association with. Provide value to your groups by sharing relevant links and resources.
You mean, you want me to *gasp* promote my competitors?! Yes – and become friends with them too. Interlinking and networking is powerful!
8. Social Networking
To truly achieve your social media marketing objectives, you need to do some social networking as well. Forget the word “competitor”. Other publishers or webmasters in your niche will be your best friends in the social media landscape!
Locate every competitor on your level (or within reasonable range) and create an “inner circle” of friends or business peers. These are people you can interview or be interviewed by, exchange links with, joint venture with, etc. Stop looking at them as competition, and start looking at how you can leverage each others’ position in the marketplace!
Tip: Don’t ask for favors. And don’t flaunt the favors you do. Simply follow, comment on, link to, or otherwise become “known” to select publishers in your niche. They will notice… and generally begin to reciprocate. Given a little time the relationship will form naturally and be incredibly beneficial on both sides.
9. Build Rapport
Get involved in discussions, reply to blog comments, ask for feedback (and then respond to it and act on it!). People want to know that you’re a real person, and not just “a company” – or worse: a bot spitting out links and sucking in cash.
Don’t be afraid to have an opinion or to express your thoughts on hot topics within your niche. Your unique voice in the market will attract your ideal visitors and customers.
Social media gives you an opportunity to be personable. An ecommerce site has its limits when it comes to establishing trust and building long-term customer relationships, so use social media as an opportunity to make a real connection with your target market.
10. Link Freely – And Don’t Apologize For It!
This is somewhat of a combination of tips #3 and #7. One thing that really makes me cringe is the 2 words “shameless plug” – promise me you wont ever use that phrase!
The people that follow you, subscribe to your updates, or ‘friend you’ on social media sites… want to hear your latest news and tips. If they don’t, they’ll quickly unfollow you – which is fine. This is not a numbers game or a vanity contest – it is a means of syndicating and socializing in a professional yet personable way.
There is a right and a wrong way to link to resources and content on social media sites. The wrong way is to say “read my blog post” or “visit my website”. The right way is to share a cool link (whether its yours, or something of interest to your readers from another website) and to open a discussion on that topic.
Have a clear objective, be a valuable resource, and use social media properties in the way they were intended to be used. Anything else will get you filtered out, unfollowed, banned or blacklisted… and ultimately be a complete waste of your time.
Done right, following these 10 simple tips, social media marketing can currently grow your online business faster than any other means.

Mexican Artists Are Using the Threat of Trump’s Wall to Fuel Inspiration
Ana Teresa Fernandez, Erasing the Border (Borrando la Frontera), 2012. Courtesy of the artist and Gallery Wendi Norris, San Francisco.
President Trump’s proposal of a multi-billion dollar wall spanning some 1,000 miles along the United States-Mexico border has triggered emotional responses from both sides of the political aisle.
It has also inspired artists, who have responded with designs ranging from a pink homage to famed Mexican architect Luis Barragán to artist Luis Camnitzer’s petition urging Trump to commission Christo to build a version of his and Jeanne-Claude’s iconic Running Fence along the border. In a recent conversation with Pedro Friedeberg, the legendary Mexican artist and designer suggested the whimsical idea of installing 10 million turnstiles at the juncture between the U.S. and Mexico.
Although the wall looms large in contemporary discourse, the border as a physical, cultural, and symbolic presence is nothing new. “The border has been a contentious site for much longer than the current news cycle’s focus on Trump’s wall,” says Lowery Stokes Sims, co-curator of the upcoming exhibition “The U.S.-Mexico Border: Place, Imagination, and Possibility” at L.A.’s Craft and Folk Art Museum.
Some 85 years ago, Frida Kahlo painted a self-portrait straddling the border, in which she is torn between the Aztec ruins of her homeland and the industrial cities of the U.S. More recently, in 2005, Mexican artist Javier Téllez shot a human cannonball across the border, where immigration officials were waiting.
Issues surrounding immigration, border security, and the relationship between the two countries have prompted artists to create works both on and about the border for years. Although Trump’s plans have catalyzed more such creative projects, artists are quick to point out that concerns surrounding the frontera reach far beyond his capricious decrees.
Ana Teresa Fernández, for example, began her “Erasing the Border” project in 2011 in response to increasing border fortifications.
“I did it as a protest when they applied the third layer of mesh and didn’t allow people to touch anymore,” she says, describing the fence that divides a small patch of land near the San Diego-Tijuana border crossing known as Friendship Park. “That’s the area where people used to be able to congregate [on either side] and share meals and touch each other. In 2011 that was no longer allowed, the mesh was implemented, and now you can only touch your fingertips.”
In response, Fernández painted the upright metal posts a light blue, so that that they seem to disappear against the sky. “I do it on the Mexican side because that wall exists for Mexicans,” she explains. “In San Diego, there’s lots of beaches, but in Tijuana, that’s the only beach people congregate at. I’m doing it for the Mexicans who go there on their day off to rest and meditate and exercise, and they’re met with this visual obstruction.”
Since the initial project, she has painted other sections in Mexicali, Agua Prieta, and Ciudad Juárez. Last December, shortly after Trump’s election, she headed back down to Tijuana to repaint a section of the wall there. A documentary covering the piece, produced by clothing company RVCA in conjunction with whiskey brand Johnnie Walker, was released last week.

ERRE and Margarita Garcia Asperas, Re/flecting the Border, 2017. Courtesy of the artists.
Last Sunday, just a few meters from Fernández’s intervention, Marcos Ramírez, better known as ERRE, staged a performative work titled Re/flecting the Border. A collaboration with fellow artist Margarita Garcia Asperas, the piece involved placing a tall mirror against the border, with a 16-by-4-foot table jutting out from it along the Mexican side. A communal dinner was held there, its reflection in the mirror creating the appearance of a cross-border meal.
“With the reflection, you have a 32-by-4-foot-long table with people on both sides, but it’s just an illusion,” ERRE says. “It’s like a mirage.”
This is by no means ERRE’s first border-related piece. He also collaborated with the photographer David Taylor on DeLIMITations, a project that marked the route of the 1821 border—spanning from Oregon to the Gulf of Mexico—with 47 sheet metal posts. “I’ve been working on the border for the last 20 years,” he notes. “For us living in the San Diego-Tijuana region, it’s something that is already there.”
Instead of adding something to the border, L.A.-based American artist Phil America took a piece of it away. Having crossed borders all over the world (including the Burma-Thailand border, for which he spent six months in a Thai jail), America returned to the spot where he had previously crossed the U.S.-Mexico border near El Paso-Juarez. “I was interested in the way the fence looked,” he recalled. “It’s all patched up, with holes that have been cut. You see the footprints in the ground, telling their own stories.”
He cut five large sections out of the chain-link fence and transported them back to L.A., where he gold-plated them, turning them into luxury goods aligned with Trump’s gilded aesthetic. He plans to exhibit them in a white cube, staging a performance where hired Latino day laborers build a brick wall in front of the pieces, blocking them off from view and denying access.
Postcommodity, Repellent Fence, 2015. Courtesy of the artists.
Three-person collective Postcommodity, meanwhile, has created three works on the border, beginning with Repellent Fence (2015), a series of balloons floating high above the Arizona border, emblazoned with indigenous scare-eye patterns. A Very Long Line (2016) followed. The work, which will be featured in the 2017 Whitney Biennial, is a dizzying two-channel video installation for which the camera lens pans along the border at varying speeds, causing a disorienting sense of unease.
Postcommodity’s latest work is Coyotaje, a commission for New York nonprofit Art in General, opening on March 24th, which addresses forms of deception and decoys used by border patrol. In interviews with Department of Homeland Security community liaisons, they learned that the night vision goggles worn by border patrol officials give a greenish glow, and are often mistaken by migrants for mythological chupacabra, creatures that suck the blood from goats.
“You have a lot of indigenous peoples coming from Southern Mexico and Central America for whom the desert is a climate that they’re unfamiliar with,” explains Cristóbal Martínez. “These are things that they’ve never seen before. Part of rationalizing what they’re seeing has to happen through stories and mythologies. Whether Border Patrol does this intentionally or unwittingly, there’s this violence that happens when a people’s indigenous knowledge gets positioned against them.”
Not every artist who creates work about the border engages with it directly, however. Mexico-based artist Pia Camil’s piece Divisor Pirata updates Brazilian artist Lygia Pape’s 1968 work Divisor with the subtext of illicit commercial traffic. Camil’s multi-person garment is made from thrift store t-shirts sewn together, purchased in bulk at outdoor markets known in Mexico as tianguis de paca.
Pia Camil, Divisor Pirata, 2016. Courtesy of the artist.
“The paca industry is problematic because a lot of it is contraband,” Camil explains. “Most of the clothing is made in Mexico, to be sold to the U.S., that then gets donated to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Then Mexican vendors buy it from those places and bring it back to Mexico illegally, transported in buses or trailers, like drug contraband.” Camil first included the piece in a street performance in Guatemala, and will exhibit a version of it at her upcoming show at the Texas gallery Dallas Contemporary.
The border is not only the site of more ephemeral works; it’s also the location of regular cultural events. Begun in 2006 by artists and curators Ed Gomez and Luis G. Hernandez, the MexiCali Biennial is centered on the border area of Calexico-Mexicali, shifting the focus from the more art-saturated Tijuana region.
“The first one was really about bringing artists from L.A. and having them physically cross the border with their artwork, installing it in Mexicali, and having to experience that whole process of customs, having their stuff looked over, interrogated,” Gomez explains. Projects included Mike Rogers’s Telephone/Teléfono, an update on the children’s game that takes the form of a transborder soccer match.
Mike Rogers, Telephone/Teléfono,
If Trump’s border wall ever comes to fruition, it will clearly be more symbolic than functional, an impotent sign that represents restrictive and violent forms of legislation and policy. What it won’t account for are the invisible ties that bind the people, communities, and economies of two neighboring nations.
“The wall is just an effort to try to keep this permeability as limited as possible,” says Camil. “There’s a natural relation that happens from a personal level to a more large-scale economic level. I don’t know if you can stop that flow. It’s like water. It’s impossible to go against.”
