Whats this? I finally gave in and made a Destiny 2 DBH au? Yeah. I did. (Ima call it D2+DBH for short)

Bits of the designs (mostly Connor) are inspired by @ygreczed-3 ‘s TRGATSA au which I think is super cool (big fan of magic stuffs) thank you again for letting me use your design as inspo!

ANYWAY the idea is that everything is the same except the fact that Exos look like Androids. Exos creation by the darkness and Bray’s nonsense is still part of it (considering making Kamski as Bray, but i haven’t fully thought of it since who would be Elizabeth and all that yknow) so this au isnt very planned out yet, it was just mostly because I wanted to make Connor and Nines into some warlocks (I WILL MAKE MARKUS AND KARA AND THE WHOLE SHABANG LATER) so yeah the way Exos work in this is instead of just how fully and properly is in Destiny, Exos in this au work the same way as original, but they all have specific models instead of the different variety like in the game. So there would be lots of people who look the exact same because they are Exos, of course hair colour and eyes and such are different but overall theyre the same. So, say Kara right? AX400, thats one of the models, and thats what she looks like. Theres alot of other people who look like her, just like how in original DBH theres alot of her model. And the D2+DBH au Exo models, unlike the proper Destiny 2 Exos, were built with specific purposes, and Bray (Kamski..?) selected the person right before turning them into an Exo to see what model they’d fit best

Example, Kara was a simple woman who didnt come from a good family, so she left it to volunteer for Bray’s Exo experiment. Bray saw that she was nothing but a simple woman, and made her the average AX400 model. Simple. Just like her

Connor and Nines were friends when they both decided to volunteer for Bray’s experiment. They went by different names at the time, but neither of them in the present can remember anything. (Connor as a human being name Bryan would be kinda funny, and Nines would be Richard when he was human) Connor and Nines were part of the RK line, Bray made them specifically for helping humans with “detective” work and such so their pre-programmed minds are more intricate and aware, but with the Vex invasion at Bray’s Exoscience facility, they had to fight alongside Myrmidon’s, Trojan’s, TR400’s, TW400’s and WB400’s and a bunch of others as extra support. Hence why their numbers are 51 and 87. Thats alot of times to be reset. They remember nothing of their friendship. Or even eachothers existence. And when Connor woke up (previously 50, now awaken as 51) he was a guardian. Later on Nines will follow up and join the guardian crew (little funnies, Nine actually woke up as a guardian on his 86th reset, but he messed with some Fallen by accident and they learned to reset him, making him new again just as he was beginning to learn the light properly. His Ghost was not happy about it) Connor and Nines meet at the Tower and because theres not many RK models walking around (especially since most of them died during the multiple wars and their bodies were used up during the Vex attack at Bray’s facility) they easily noticed eachother like “oh my god, another me model, that’s something you dont see everyday” and it seemed they clicked easily like old friends. (I wonder why hmmmm)

deltarune rambling time yippee

i think deltarune is in an interesting spot in terms of like... theres a lot of theories that have had a lot of time to develop, and like. i dont think these specific conditions have really happened to a game before. having a big audience of lore nuts AND giving them 2 chapters worth of solid concrete stuff and then havin em wait? its very, very interesting

(rereading this post i think i might reword or add an addendum to it later since i kinda didnt quiiite word my thoughts on Big Theories below exactly right. it feels like im saying that every theory is just gonna be wrong... when i just think that the nature of the lore has a decent chance to be able to almost... parody theorizing, if its based on the nature of fiction and creation. which would make deep theories not WRONG but not RIGHT, just unprovable)

like, ive skimmed through big theories that seem larger than i could even imagine deltarune itself being... not to say i believe theyre entirely wrong, but just that. it definitely wont be explained to THAT degree in game...

what im really tryna say though is, yknow, i distance myself from the bigger theories because im patient and also because i ... dont wanna spoil myself if the theories are perfectly right but especially, a big reason, is the typical classic "don't get your hopes or expectations up" dont get me wrong, ive got big hopes for deltarune and some healthy hype, but i aint gonna get my expectations all fixated on some gigantic theory of the entire overarching metanarrative. i think its great that people are developing so many theories though involving like, the depths and stuff. because worst comes to worst? well, toby fox has just convinced people to write their own stories. and for a game that seems to be shaping up to be about the nature of fiction and creation? seems fitting (genuinely i expect chapter 3 to be the birth of SO many deltarune AUs, out of what is proven wrong or left ambiguous) so yeah, i dont say this to be like "nah no ones gonna be right, toby doesnt have big plans" because im certain he does have some big master plan in the lore but i also believe the lore wont necessarily focus around what we're expecting, if that makes sense. if the game is about fiction, which it clearly is to some degree with the whole. ralsei pushing us down the path of a generic prophecy where we are heroes and vanquish evil... and then immediately dissecting Good Guys vs Bad Guys in ch1 and very much making it a point that we're trying to be kept ON the path of a very specific story. both us and kris.

i think i kinda worded some of this wrong but like TLDR? i do believe toby has big lore plans, but i think theres a decent chance they wont actually get super deep into like, worldbuilding all the logic of dark worlds for example. because... well, the lore could very well be that dark worlds arent logically explainable, yknow. something like the collective unconscious kinda logic. or like terapagos in pokemon being a kind of... paradoxical thing because its born based on belief in it

maybe im wrong thjough. either way, i am excited for deltarune. whatever direction it goes in, ill be happy.

im sorry i didnt get to this earlier, i was waiting to be more awake but im literally getting worse LOL. but it made me so happy ;_; thank you thank you thank you, for being far too kind abt my art 😭 im so fuckingglad i finally got a tablet during my crazy ass wayhaven renaissance because there could not be a sweeter group of people to share stuff with 🫂♥️

for the oc ask… well i just gotta do dev/mason theyre in my minds microwave 24/7 rn (hope the ceiling fan falls on them btw)

some of this is a bit more association than true description of character bc i could go on forever listing stuff for both of them.. but for dev w mason it would be two big things at their current standstill:

- marlboro reds; her favourite — she is in the middle of quitting smoking in book 1 so him constantly lighting up with her cigs of choice, as well as just being rude and grating on her already thin nerves, drove her barking mad insane. by book 2 she is floundering hard and asks for one after he shows up at the station. when he says no and that she’s supposed to be quitting she gets a bit pissed and makes him put out smokes anytime thereafter out of pettiness. also reds…… strong, numbingly intense, addictive, etc. sums up the early stages of their arrangement :D

- definitely the wolf cub from the carnival game! deva is hugely sentimental (to a concerning degree — she is a hoarder yay disaster apartment option) though would never admit to it. she still keeps raggedy decades old stuffed animals from when rook was around that she just cannot say goodbye to 🤦‍♀️ and she refuses to let herself get attached to mason on any meaningful emotional level so those budding feelings in book 3 kind of manifest on the wolf cub without her realizing it (i was so glad there’s a little part abt the detective saving their carnival prize after the apartment gets flooded because Very Deva, that thang is her whole support network) (plus when mason inevitably bails during the night she has smth to cuddle because objects dont leave no sir . Rebecca get this girl a therapist)

- and one smaller thing im still playing w is red jasper crystal 🙇🏻‍♀️

maybe she sees them in the crystal store. I colour pick from these when i draw him LOL

for mason wrt deva — not an object but just straight up chaos tbh. at where they are in book 3 i imagine every time he sees the detective his brain is going question mark question mark. and hes definitely not sentimental in the way Dev is that certain objects would have any sort of emotional stir in reminding him of her. mason definitely goes more on how she makes him feel; really fucking good, really fucking confused, really fucking messy (like her apartment which he HAAAAATES), and on a few occasions now… weirdly serene. cant make sense of it; doesnt even understand why hes bothering TRYING to make sense of it but here he is and it’s happening and it has never happened before and THAT is probably the best way he could encapsulate her at this point in their relationship… other than, yknow, encapsulating in other ways 🫢

OKAY FOR THE FIRST ONE!!!! im not the best at interpreting EXACTLY what connect to means; but in terms of my sona, i believe it would be stuff along the lines of how similar they are!!!!! and by that i mean!!!! both strive to impress their father figures, both are scared of people leaving them (though my sona only recently got those (i dont have issues with that myself)), and probably some more things im forgetting!!!!! as for moon? xe and harry just work well together!!!!! theyre both nice with each other and make sure the other is happy and comfortable!!!!!! honestly still need to work out lore for moon, nothing is set in stone for xem just yet.....

my sonas and stevens relationship started out plan and simple!!!!!! my little guy asked steven to be is "unofficial adoptive father" and boom. it happened. little did the fly boy know he was going to end up with an actually comforting father figure who he later started to see as his ACTUAL dad. as for moon and harry..... moon just complimented him a bunch and subtly flirted and then confessed:3c

OHH THEIR DESIGNS..... well my sonas design was inspired by a bunch of things!!!!!! but the main one was a moment where i was called "fly boy" (not actually fly boy but yknow. not misgendering myself) by my mother!!!!!! which led to me liking houseflies a bunch!!!! hence the entire fly themed branding and fly cryptid sona bit!!!!! the cryptid part is just an easy way to explain why he doesnt look like an anthropomorphized housefly!!!!! as for moon? just went with what felt right!!!!! nothing really inspired xis design outside of the tag i used for xem (🌕 anon) guess xis design was just destiny!!!!!!!

OH AND I WILL ABSOLUTELY WRITE MORE ABOUT THEM..... ive made plenty for my sona and steven already!!!!!! three different stories i think? ill probably write more for moon once i sort out xis lore.......

okay so let me talk about bot first of all bot is . theyre heavily implied to be trans actually NO not heavily implied it’s practically CANON because bot is supposed to be the robot replica of a dead person named bow but later on they say they “aren’t bow” and that they wanna be a different person !!!! in the newer episodes literally when they were drawing what they wanna look like they put they/them on the paper and it was shown ON SCREEN !!!!!/pos/silly and in the new episode they GOT their new look and when they noticed their eyelashes were gone and all the other cool details they got they said “it’s so… me !! :D” ALSO: this small speech they gave

Naruto & Umino:

everyone in the village hated naruto since the day he was born bc of the demon that lives in his insides somewhere (this sounds crazy if you haven't seen the show but trust me here). iruka was his teacher at school. when everyone was graduating, naruto failed and some side character told him that if he stole a secret scroll he'd pass (since he failed). they were using him tho, and were planning on killing him (i think). and then iruka goes after him and finds him with the scroll before the other person did, and was the first person to actively defend naruto, and was the first person to believe him and see him as the person he was (he's like 12 here btw). and then, iruka always acts as a father figure to naruto, and at the very end of the series, when naruto gets married, he asks iruka to be his father at his wedding. i cried like a little bitch and i swear to god i just lvoe them so much. i doubt anyone will submit them butAAAAAA. ALSO IRUKA PASSED HIM IN THE END AND GAVE HIM HIS OWN FUCKING HEADBAND!!! SOBS AND CRIES AND SCREAMS

iruka was the first person to ever believe in naruto. it’s mentioned throughout the story how much of an impact iruka had on naruto just by believing in him, and it’s super sweet. the real kicker is that at the end of the show, naruto asks iruka to play the role of his father at his wedding, and i will never not cry about it!! literally look at them!!! never shutting up about this!!

Of course, hes never been truly truly alone cuz of Bridge, but generally speaking he gets really introspective about himself and how he interacts with others

so she'll rot in bed for a while

right. finally reading Knight Terrors: Nightwing #2. not done yet but i wouldn't recommend anyone else reads it. i held onto a shred of hope (mostly because it's been a while since i've seen nightwing content that didnt involve tom taylor) but it was worse than i could've predicted. one of those if you give half a damn about barbara or just care about the portrayal of disabled people in general its fucking infuriating type things. #1 sort of set up a whodunit mystery, dick is in for murder but the details aren't clear (because yknow. nightmare world). It was decent.

Adding a cut because there was a lot of hurt from this one. emotional discussion of ableism ahead.

#2 has all the pitfalls of Nightwing (2016) kicked up to 11 and condensed into a single comic. Barbara starts to turn into a robot monster. Her text bubbles resemble the ones that were used for her when she was oracle. it pretty explicitly shows her as being broken. I had to stop and write this to get it out of my system because i just got to a point where dick quite literally fixes her. if this is supposed to be a metaphor for their relationship. right. i need to stop for a bit because this treatment of disability is just legitimately triggering.

I have 13 pages left, I just want this over with so that I can be done with it and put it out of my mind.

WHAT SHE FEARS MOST. ORACLE. HER LIFE AS A DISABLED WOMAN. The ENTIRE point of her arc as oracle was her coming to terms and becoming even more confident with her diasability than she was without. And DC keeps saying that's wrong. That it was wrong for her to be happy like that. That it was wrong for her to not need fixing. Fuck. "too reliant on computers" don't play fucking dumb with me. This is about oracle. This is making her success as oracle a BAD thing. It pisses me off and upsets me to the point of tears.

If we get proof (which, apparently, can no longer be a greenlit show or pilot script or location scouting or contracts or YEARS of press or fucking talking about it IN THE MAIN SHOW) - proof such as melissa and norman posting pictures of themselves on set, bts photos released by amc, interviews with melissa and norman talking about theyre filming the spinoff and theyre having fun and how its nice to be filming together again after having collectively 1 hour of screentime together in 24 episodes, hype from amc both in print and on sm about the spinoff, promo art with them together, officially naming the spinoff as something to do with CARYL, not just daryl dixon, a table read of the pilot script (where caryl is actually, yknow, holding a conversation, not just carol talking to some french dude and daryl talking to fleur delacour), positive statements straight from mels mouth/her agents (rather than jdm tweeting angrily at 2am and norman parroting the tweet for six months that deliberately and directly contradicts mel's statement along with amc's statement), sneak peeks of CARYL TOGETHER on THEIR spinoff, things that are unambiguously proof that a) mel is back on HER show, b) carol actually has screentime, c) caryl actually has screentime, d) that theyre actually filming with the intent of releasing the show, e) that its not just daryl does paris with a carol cameo at the last scene of the last episode...

IF we get this kind of proof... not only will i resubscribe to amc+ like amc so desperately needs, but i will watch and rewatch until les vaches (french for "the cows" lol) come home.

And then you know what will happen? The caryl fandom, as always, will do the heavy lifting for amc. They will create gifs, fanart, praise the show on sm, spread the word, buy tickets to conventions, buy merchandise FROM AMC, PAY FOR AMC+, tune in to the talking dead (if thats even going to happen? I hope chris hardwick is far far away ugh), write fanfic, create fanvids, post and repost and repost this content all over sm, which will entice carylers who left the fandom due to constant ship trolling and baiting and refusal of amc to do what theyve been implying theyll do for like 8 years - including carylers who left the fandom fucking YEARS ago, as well as carylers like myself who have given the fuck up due to s11 and the spinoff fuckery - and all of this will hype up the spinoff for the general audience too. Even if GA viewers arent specifically carylers, carol is a fan favorite. Carol and daryl is a fan favorite dynamic. People want to see them together.

Amc is finally realizing that they have nailed the coffin shut with this bullshit and thats why theyre scrambling to dangle the possibility of melissa/carol in every single press release and interview they can. They are aware now of the massive fuckup that is daryl does paris. Far too late to make amends, but if they pull this off, they can save the sinking ship (lol) that is amc. Theyre losing money left and right and laying off staff bc they cant keep their fucking heads on straight, and they are well aware its bc the money they were banking on - daryl does paris - is a complete and utter shitshow and will ultimately cost them far more money than it will bring in.

The only way to salvage this is to bring back caryl. Thats it. Bring them back in the 1st episode - together - and in every single episode following that - TOGETHER. No separation, not ambiguous will they wont they, no ship baiting, no cameos.

Actually the exception to the cameo can be the last scene of the 1st episode. Ill allow it.

Wow i went off on a tangent lol. But the point remains: if they do the CARYL SPINOFF right, they will get me back in the fandom as well as everyone else who bailed.

As for the new fandom its probably a hyperfixation lol considering the main ship i have is 2 dead teenagers that would make literally no sense to ever bring back to life - altho i have to say its refreshing that both of the actors (and even other tertiary actors on the show whose characters interacted w/ had a dynamic involved in the ship!!!) have so much respect for the ship and the fans and the shippers and have spoken at length abt how they also absolutely intended for the ship to be canonically romantic. A couple ships on that show do that, actually - no trolling or baiting or inciting fandom wars or whatever.

Theres something to be said about an obsession w a literally dead ship lmao. Esp when the rest of the show is like GENUINELY good and interesting (like how s1-s5, and then s9-s10 of twd was) and not just the shop.

Hi!!! I just read how do you sleep at night, your WandaJericho fic, and I'm having so many feels right now!!! Wanda's decision to getting a break from her relationship with Jericho made me like, oh wanda!

Her getting constantly anxious that nothing big is happening after their semi breakup was so sad. Girl is having grief in her romantic and maternal life since Vision's disassembling. It happens in reality too, when you are having constant drama and trauma in your life, you can't just suddenly adapt to peace. And you just start creating the drama and the unstable ness, whether you want it or not. Self Sabotage, or craving drama, you name it.

But the consequences that come with it—what always happens when she loves too much, the things that get ruined, the life she tries so hard to keep under control—it’s all so paralyzing. It’s as paralyzing as this touch. Oh dear!

And Jericho was so supportive! He was extremely right to be hurt, but I think he must have gotten an inkling later(maybe pietro?) about why is she behaving like that. I loved their Astral plane conversations, and "simply souls waving each other hello." This is so good!!

Also pietro!!! I loved how he just knew why Wanda is behaving like this. Self Sabotage indeed. The twin sense must have gotten activated. He is actually more emotionally intelligent about people he loves and cares, so that wasn't a surprise when he knew what wanda didn't want to admit yet. Also I knew it when he said he likes Jericho! Rhosyn loves tiny trinkets ESPECIALLY if they are animal shaped. Faeryl bought a tieeny tiny fox charm and Rhosyn cried when she saw it because it was so fuGJCDISUng cUTE. Teeny Tiny lil Trinkets always cheer her up, she looks at her collection when ever she's upset. She's a very happy person, tends to always have a good attitude. She usually says the dumbest thing she can think of for a solution to a problem someone is facing to try and make them laugh. It always works on Faeryl.

Maelgwyn's outward appearance is very stoic but he is small and caring on the inside for the ones he loves. He's actually very bad at improving his own mood, so Paola flopping over next to him or squishing against him when he's upset always helps. Cricket is number 1 here though she'd just a big puppy anyway, a big goofy ball of sunshine. (obligatory trahearne mention)

Rhosyn's biggest fear is losing her tree or her people. It's an irrational one, she knows that but she's seen elder dragons die, what if? She gets louder when she's frighten and hurls more insults in the direction of whatever spooked her. She'll relax a bit if someone cracks a joke, or generally brightens the mood. Rhosyn is frightening when she's angry. It's not often she gets genuinely mad but when it does happen it's not a fun sight.

Maelgwyn's biggest fear is being alone again. His first 5 years alive were traumatic and he refuse above all else to ever fall back towards that. Whenever he's frightened he gets quieter, he listens more, he goes into HunterMode(tm) The best way for him to calm down is to look at Paola and see if she's on edge. If she looks at him like ":|" then everything's fine. He's terrifying in combat. That "I will hunt you forever til i find you" kinda vibe. The skill he has now, the way he and Paola are relentless and seemingly always lurking- he's probably given a few dominion soldiers night terrors.

Maelgwyn's voice claim is Blaidd from Elden Ring and he does actually talk much like him. Gwyn's laugh is a bit breathy kinda chest laugh (? i hope that makes sense) He is actually a good singer but you'll probably never hear him sing. Same accent as Blaidd!

the best things this season;

-jjk is here twice because the first arc(s) feels like a separate thing from the rest of the season. its hard to even compare the two, but my heart will always lie w hidden inventory/premature death. the vibe is just. so good -the shibuya incident though? my god. it kinda dipped a bit right after the hi/pd ended, but the last chunk of eps has been banger after banger. -if you ever rec migi and dali to anyone they'll think you're insane. but its really good. its so good but so deeply fucking weird and uncomfortable to watch during the entire middle part. -solid show. what else is there to say.

shows that execute their own premise very well;

-yonkyoudai is rlly sweet and surprisingly creative in terms of visuals. i wouldve put it at the best but. i could do without the brother complex guy (mikoto) -the mysteries are fun, they leave it all ambiguous enough to let you sleuth along with the characters. the pieces are usually all there for you to figure it out, but most of the crimes end up being so convoluted you wont piece it together before they explain it anyways, lmao. very manzai like humour though, which kind of has to be your thing. -my only gripe w bullbuster is that the 3d models for the monsters are bad. the mechs look fine and the 2d animation is actually really good. the story is pretty interesting so far, and goddd is this show funny.

-hypmic fan here. this season is a noticeable step up in quality from s1 (not to say that s1 was bad. in fact i loved it). its fun if you like hypmic. idk what this show would be like from an outsider's perspective -one of those wacky gag comedies. filled w a wonderful array of weird women. again, could do without the incest jokes.

-wow what an amazing scene about casual homophobia and the portrayal of gay people in media! I sure hope they keep up this- oh so they want to make incest accepted now? oh so. oh now they're drawing parallels with homosexuality, calling both "forbidden love"? and the incest couple gets a happy ending? yeah ok. -the animation isnt nearly as bad as ppl say. they just hate 3d. the story however... well it all feels a little disjointed. the characters are an interesting bunch though, i rlly like all their designs too

There was just kindness in that, i can't even- ts got to be the nghttime and part of me wants to post this don't care what happens to this post because it'll be locked away in ths internet world forever and one day I'll forget it ever existed in the first place untill someone reminds me and I'll remember if I ever loose myself that I cried over the words and words ALONE of a old scientist guy who was just trying to save his grandaughter and make a bunch of people happy and- the gziodddd..... that was my first fucking game and i never got to see it... cause I raged quit and only played the first section of the first level before quitting....it was either that or like the one where creams mom gets captured idk i never finished it.

1. Are you named after anyone? No... my Mom liked the name. (I hate it btw, and have taken on another in day-to-day life.)

2. When was the last time you cried? The other day, watching "For all mankind" (which is better than I had thought it would be?!)

5. What sports do you play/have played? I used to ride. Stopped when I got pregnant.
