Tumblr media
It's been four months since the day you moved into your new home.
With the help of some of the guys you managed to furnish your new home very quickly and since the time you moved in your life has been like a dream. The amount of money you earned for your work at Blue lock was enough to feed a whole army, money being the least of your problems currently. And your private life? You haven't spoken to Sae since the last time the both of you spoke, and honestly, you thought it was better that way. But that didn't mean that your love life was laid down on the low, oh no-
"Pretty, are you coming?" Your head turned towards the bathroom door where Reo was leaned against, his eyes widening at the sight of your outfit. It was daring but not too revealing, leaving room for imagination. "Yes, one sec'." You tried to put on your earring as you heard the purple haired man approach you from the back, his hands sneaking around your waist as he leaned his head into your neck, adoring it with soft kisses, causing you to giggle. "My Gorgeous girl. Who's the lucky guy tonight?"
Yes, that's right. Reo. After we were gone for some weeks he really made it up to you, fancy dates, gifts, amazing sex - anything you could ask for. Even though everything of these things would scream relationship and the both of you spend a lot of time together - the both of you agreed that it isn't. Or to be specific, you did.
He was bitter about it at first, but grown to tolerate it. He got to spend time with you by those rules too, so he could manage to swallow some jealousy.
"I wish it would be you, but-" He groaned at your words, releasing his hold around your waist as reality kicked in. "Butttt- I need to work, and it's your free day. Actually, don't tell me who you'll go out with." you chuckle at his words, patting him on the shoulder after you managed to put your expensive jewelry in, heading out.
"Close the door after you, yeah?", you whistled at the man in joy, leaving him alone in your apartment. "Y/N, wait-", he shook his head at you in disbelief when he heard the door slam, quick to go after you, curiosity getting the better of him.
His heart filled itself with jealousy, hoping to convince you to stay at home and wait for him. He knew the way he was thinking wasn't right but, who could blame him? Anyone who would get their fingers on such a rare treasure like you would hold it tight in his arms and not even think about sharing it with anyone.
【☆】★【☆】
"Barou. You're supposed to bring in money for me tonight, what do you think you're doing here? Do you want me to cut the contract?" The man's lips twitched up into a grin, as he held open the door for you to step in. "I already did the most important fights, Shidou is doing the other one for me. As long as money is flooding in, you can't say shit."
He had to contain his laugh at Reo's furious expression, walking off to the driver's side, carefree. Reo's purple orbs switched to you, walking up to the open window. "Y/N. Why don't you wait some time, and then we can have some fun together, what do you say? I'm done with work in, like, two hours."
A frown accompanied your face. "You want me to wait two whole hours, Reo? Look, I know that you tend to be jealous, but this is a bit too much." Anger bubbled up inside of him, letting out a huff in disbelief. "Jealous? Nonono, Y/N. I don't think you understand what I'm saying. This - what we have, it's not just some play date-"
"It is. I told you so. Many times. It's better we cut this off, so you can get that possessiveness checked. We are not in a relationship. And to be honest, if that's how you would act if we were, then I'm really not in a mood to even consider it."
You knew your words came out harsh by just one look at Reo's face, but you had enough of it. Reo was a heartfelt and passionate person, but the more time you spend with him, the more controlling and possessive he got. You really didn't want to deal with his shit right now, when your single life was so good.
"Are you done? I'm not going to get my time cut with you again, princess." Reo's eyes flicked between you and the man at the wheel, teeth grinding. He's calling you princess now? "I need you, Y/N. And you sure as hell need me. I am the one who got you to where you are now, no one else. I can also take all of it away from you. I think you forgot who I am."
There was a pause. "Are you threatening me, Reo?" Before Barou could chime in, Reo's brows furrowed, lifting his hand to keep Barou quiet. "Y/N, get out of the car." You looked at him in disbelief while Barou turned his head to the side at the thick fog of tension. "What?"
"If you don't get out of this car now and wait for me upstairs like a good little housewife till I'm back, you'll see what will happen with the perfect life you're living right now."
You've never seen him so sickly obsessive as now, holding yourself from discussing the matter with him any further, attention turning to Barou once he leaned forward to get a good look at Reo, looking at him in a threatening manner. "You done?"
"From now on, you're nothing more than my Boss. I am not your 'pretty little housewife', nor are you my husband. Don't show yourself in front of me again if it got nothing to do with work." His words fell on deaf ears as you rolled up the window, attention now on Barou, motioning him to start driving. You didn't have to tell him twice as he turned on the engine, driving backward only to turn around to flash the perplexed man a shit-eating grin, driving off into the night.
"Fuck!" Reo's loud voice rang into the night, a loud sound echoing through the city as he fumbled with his hair in frustration. Feet stomping onto the concrete as he walked to his car, desperate to get away from here, away from anything related to you- or he might become crazy on the spot.
He didn't feel an ounce of remorse for his harsh threat, because he was right. He got you the job, the nice salary, the apartment, and many of your jewelry and dresses you got also from him. So why won't you just be his alone? Maybe he was wrong, maybe you were like the others - get the money and head off.
【☆】★【☆】
You and Barou enjoyed the silence and peace, putting the previous event at the back of your mind. "But why did you dress up so nice, princess?"
You crossed your arms over your chest, tits spilling over in the process, causing the man's eyes to shift between your eyes and chest. "You don't like it?" He was quick to wave your thought off. "No, no, I do. I'm just wondering, since we're driving to my place."
You tilted your head to the side, hand touching his shoulder like a feather would, smirk on your face as you leaned in to whisper your words. "I put this dress on for you. For you to rip it off later."
His laugh rang through the car, hand sneaking to your thigh, comfortably resting on it until his phone lit up, shrill ringing echoing. You glanced down, the caller ID said 'Peasant'.
You giggled at that while his hand left your thigh, an annoyed look on his face as he quickly connected the call to his car. "Oh hell nah, man!"
The both of you were a bit startled at the sound of Shidou's loud voice, you biting back a laugh. "Shidou what is it, fucking spit it out. I'm busy." A pity laugh rang from the other line. "I don't give a shit! Why the fuck is that dick Nagi up next now? Huh?!"
Barou let out a small 'oh'. "I forgot. Just do a quick match and then-" "I'm not gonna do shit! You either bring your ass here and do it yourself, or you can get your sorry ass out of blue lock entirely. It's your fucking contract, not mine."
"For fuck's sake, Shidou! I'm busy right now-" "Y/N, ma'. You don't mind dropping by for a sec', right?" You looked over at Barou at that, shrugging and letting him decide. "This is the second fucking time." He mumbled under his breath, turning the car to drive to Blue lock.
【☆】★【☆】
The both of you stepped into the establishment, you're frowning at the sight of your workplace. Yes, you really liked your job, but, you really didn't want to spend your day off there too.
"I'm so sorry." He leaned down to your level, apologizing to you. You played it off, putting a heartfelt smile on your face as you leaned up to steal a quick kiss from him. "Don't be sorry and win that shit for me. I'll give you a treat after if you do."
He grinned at that, quickly heading to the back to get ready. And in almost an instant, a familiar blonde haired came to your view, rushing over to you and lifting you in his arms, spinning you around. "Ryu! Let me down." You chuckled playfully as he placed you back on the ground, a love struck smile on his face. "Missed you. So you're down with the King tonight?" He formed his hand into claws and mimicked a lion by rowing, causing you to burst into a fit of laughter.
"God - you're so cringe. Missed you too." "Of course you did." His hand sneaked around your waist, leading you to the lounge couch. "Someone else missed you too, you know." He motioned his chin to the far end of the room at your confused expression, your eyes following him and stopping at a familiar figure.
Sae.
You scoffed, turning your attention away from him quickly. "Stop it, Ryu'." He held up his hands in defeat. "Me? I didn't do anything. I'm just sayin' what I'm seein'."
You sighed, turning your head away to think of another topic, not in the mood to talk about you and Sae's situation right now. Shidou noticed, looking over to his red haired friend and shooting him a pitiful look. How did he manage to piss you off that bad?
He soon snapped out of his thoughts once bright lights illuminated the middle of the ring, the two fighters emerging from the shadows and stepping into it, cheers and screams coming from the crowd.
"Now, up next - the Treasure of Blue lock against Barou Shoei, the King of the ring! Everyone is burning to see this rematch! Will the King take back his crown, or will he be overthrown again?"
Barou gritted his teeth at that, firmly looking at the announcer. His attention soon turned back to his opponent, who had a shit-eating grin on his face once the whistle blew, announcing the fight to start.
Nagi was the first one to walk up to Barou, which was a surprise to the onlookers. Nagi usually just waits for the opponent to come at him, too lazy to but in any big effort. But this was new.
He quickly swung his fist against Barou, who raised his eyebrow in confusion, barely escaping his fist. "What's up, King?" A laugh escaped the white haired male, warming himself up by jumping from one foot onto the other, swiftly sprinting at Barou again, first landing a painful blow to his hip. "Don't tell me you're done already."
An animalistic grunt erupted from his lung at the man's mocking, a fist briskly catching Nagi's cheek on the way, painting his snow-white skin in a rough crimson, blood splattering from his mouth as he took a step backwards. "Did you sniff something, or why are you so energetic today? Your puppet master told you to go all out, huh?"
A vein was visible on Nagi's forehead, teeth gritting as he went right at barou, two blows landing on his face. "You really think I'll let you have her? Let you take her from me or Reo?" Nagi flashed behind his back, caging him in a headlock as he whispered his next words, only for Barou to hear. "Once I'm done with your ass, I'll fuck her right in the backseat of my car. And after that, we'll celebrate my victory at home, with her moaning my name while I'm banging her till the fucking sun rises."
Anger bubbled up in Barou's face, his arm flying back to get a hold of nagi's hair, tearing himself free from his grasp. "In your fucking dreams. Some fuckers already barged in on me with her two times, and there won't be a third time." He punched Nagi right in his stomach, causing the man to stumble to the end of the ring, holding the edge for stability while Barou walked over to him. "Goodnight, spoiled brat."
Nagi lowered his head, the crowd was in shock and thought it was all over once Barou swung his fist to his face, but to their surprise a small smirk plastered itself on Nagi's lips as he quickly raised to his feet, "Goodnight, King", firm punch to Barou's face causing him to lose balance and fall over, his head spinning and hurting.
The referee appeared soon after, accepting Nagi's victory. Barou Got escorted to the back through the cheers and celebration of Nagi's triumph, your eyes lighting up in worry.
"I'll be right back, ma'. Gonna check up on that big boy real quick." And with that Shidou disappeared, leaving you all by yourself. But what you didn't know was that he didn't leave just to check up on Barou, he also wanted to make room for someone to talk to you.
Your brows furrowed, and you quickly got up from your seat to storm off once Sae stood before you, getting stopped by his light grip on your arm. "Just one minute, please."
You broke free from his grasp, aggressively clicking your tongue, turning around. "Please." A sigh came from you, a firm look on your face as you looked him right in the eye, your heart hurting. "One minute."
He stopped for a second, a relieved sigh leaving his lips, thinking about the right words to tell you. "I've been looking for you everywhere, didn't see you in months. I know you're mad at me, but, avoiding me? I had to get Shidou into this just to stand in front of you. That's too much. It's nothing that we can't talk about-"
"What exactly is there to talk about, Sae? That you want to fuck me again, no hard feelings? Ignoring the shit we've been through?" Only silence came from him. "I know that you feel the same for me, and it frustrates me so much that you don't even have the balls to tell me."
"Don't just stand there and say something." You looked at him expectingly, waiting for the words you so desperately wanted to hear from him. "Y/N. You know I can't. It's hard for me to-" Hard for him to what? Tell his long time best friend, and the person he is in love with, that he loves her? Don't be ridiculous.
"One minute is over." You turned around and walked to the back of the room to look for Barou and Shidou, furiously stomping off and ignoring Sae's calls of your name.
"Couldn't wait for me to come back?" You looked at him in annoyance, walking past him to go over to Barou. "Fuck off."
The sound of your voice caught him off guard, a worried look on his face. "What's wrong, ma'? Did something - look, I just wanted the both of you to talk it out-"
"I said, fuck. Off. I didn't ask you to play therapist. If I say I don't want to talk to him, then you need to get that into your fucking brain. Get out."
Shidou just sighed, not saying another word as he stepped out, not wanting to irritate you any further. Now he fucked up himself.
Barou looked up at you, a lightly embarrassed look on his face, unsure of what to say and too scared he might anger you. But to his surprise, your expression returned to your usual loving one, looking down at his sitting for as you took a towel to wipe off some of the blood running down his lip.
"Don't let it grow to your head. You'll still get your treat. C'mon, let's go to your place."

any hcs for ajax (cod: ghosts)
I initially was going to do the "3 pros, 3 cons" thing. But I haven't seen very much content for Ajax, so here's a whole list of random SFW HCs for him.
Alex "Ajax" Johnson SFW Headcanons
| Blog HQ | Call of Duty: Ghosts Masterlist |
TW for some mentions of overthinking, arachnophobia, vague mentions to the latest Stranger Things season finale
Comes off as calm, cool confident but in all honestly overthinks damn near everything
"He's a natural, almost too natural" Hesh commented, arms crossed over his chest. Watching as the man continued light conversation with the barista making their drinks.
The brothers standing off to the side, watching as their friend managed to get them free banana bread slices with his smooth talking. Smiling politely and thanking the barista for their time.
With excited expressions, the younger men began asking for tips and tricks. Still in awe of how cool he was during the interaction.
Eyebrows raising in surprise, Ajax nodded along. Listening to the praise being fed to him. Forcing down the thoughts that he came off too strong and made the poor worker uncomfortable.
'They have enough people to deal with, and probably a lot of creeps but have to be nice to everyone. They had to be trying to usher him out of there and dropped some hints asking me to stop. Like that awkward half laugh, oh I overdid it. Shit'
"Playing it by ear is key, boys" Ajax laughed, taking a bite of his food. Hoping that it was given in good spirits and not a desperate attempt to make him leave.
Major acrophobia. "Ya'll are killing the spider"
A shrill scream caused you to jump, rushing into the other room. Grabbing a broom on the way as a mock-up weapon.
Eyes scanning the room, your brows furrowing in confusion as there was no obvious danger. Just Ajax in the corner, pressing himself against the wall as he lightly chuckled at you.
"Hey, how've you been" he asked smoothly, one hand rubbing the back of his neck. Eyes cast down to one specific spot on the floor. You followed his gaze, focusing on a small black spot.
It couldn't be.
"Was, was all that because of a spider?" You initially laughed, jumping back as the bug moved toward you. "Shit. Elias!" You called, broom dropped and teammate abandoned.
Binge watcher. Him and Keegan watched an entire season of Stranger Things in one night once.
"Are….are you crying, dude?" Ajax snorted, receiving a glare in return. The two men finishing off the latest season of Stranger Things.
"No. I'm just enjoying the heartfelt reunion and cliffhanger. Are you crying?" Keegan muttered, shifting further into his spot. Eyes trained on the screen, as his friend continued staring over at him, eyes lit up with amusement.
Guilty pleasure that he won't let anyone know (minus Logan, who accidentally found out and they bonded) but loves rom coms.
[ 1:33AM ]
[ SAN DIEGO ]
Laying in the dark, eating handfuls of chips slowly as he silently urged the two characters to finally admit their feelings for one another. Sighing heavily at the obvious attraction they were both oblivious to.
"They really should've made a season 2" Ajax all but jumped out of his seat at the quiet voice from behind him. Scrambling for the remote to shut off the TV, keeping his guilty pleasure mostly hidden.
Shrugging at the younger male, "Logan, why are you awake?"
"I'm not judging. I love Oran High School Host Club, put it back on" Logan urged, slipping down onto the other side of the couch. Settling back into the cushions.
Arguably the best passenger princess of all the Ghosts.
A carefully curated playlist filtering through the speakers, your group drove out to the lake lot the Walker family owned for the weekend.
"Alex, what do you got for snacks up there?" You asked, peering up from your phone. Situated in the backseat with Keegan and Kick.
"Would you prefer sour, sweet or salty?" He started, sifting through one of the many insulated bags at his feet.
A Nintendo Switch kind of guy. Especially the Zelda games. He's been playing them since childhood, and still has the gold cartridge Legend of Zelda NES game.
Rocking lightly on his feet, he eagerly waited in line. Game in hand, impatient to start playing it the moment he got home.
"Is this everything for you sir?" The cashier asked, noticing the 8 bit design on the man's wallet. Commenting on how they thought it was interesting.
"It is, thank you. Can't wait to play, I've been pretty into Zelda since I was a kid" Ajax smiled, focusing on the machine in front of him as the two fell into conversation about modern gaming vs retro gaming.
Retro gaming came out on top overall.
If you're dating, he gives the sweetest gifts. More into DIY than store-bought.
A jar was placed in front of you, inside contained multiple colours of folded up paper. Eyebrow raised, you opened the lid and pulled a light blue star out.
Heart melting as you unfolded the paper; seeing a small note about when the two of you first met. Jar and note placed to the side, you launched yourself onto the man. Feeling him chuckle as he held you close; whispering about how much he loved you, and felt so blessed that he could call you his.
Does the "huh?" then promptly answers thing.
"Hey, Alex. What time is that movie you wanted to go to tonight?" You called from the bathroom, to your fiancé laying on the bed.
"Huh?" He started, phone dropped on the bed beside him. Right as you were about to repeat the question - "it's at 6:45, so I figure if we get there by 6:20, 6:30 we should have enough time to buy snacks and find our seats"
BLANKET HOG
Blinking awake, you sighed. Body shivering as you became aware of the cold air settling around you. Hand feeling around for the blanket, you grew increasingly confused as your search came back unsuccessful.
Rolling over, you groaned. Seeing your boyfriend cocooned in the shared quilt, sleeping rather soundly.
Pulling at the material, you pouted. He had it wrapped taught to his body, leaving your tired limbs very little chance at unraveling it. Another tired sigh escaped your lips as you pushed yourself from the mattress, grabbing your own blanket from the closet.

hello! I know you've been talking about We Keep Falling Apart AU (which I also love) but would you have any more hcs or snippets you can share for Summoner Id (Your Name on My Lips)? I really really love it! It was so funny but also so heartfelt?? And all the characters and sideships were so great!! Zeus' reaction to "babe" had me on the floor laughing (just like Kanavi), Jihoon and Sanghyeok slowly and slowly being more open with their feelings, Kanavi being an overall boss. I loved it!
Hi, and thanks for the ask!
I'm super glad to hear that you liked Summoner Id! I honestly really like that fic, too - shoutout to my friend who gave me the encouragement I needed to go through with writing it when I was uncertain about whether I should! Like you said, I feel like this fic allowed me to combine a lot of the things I really like to incorporate in my writing - humor, angst, romance - all kind of rolled up into one giant mess, and I'm really glad that it turned out to be such a fun story.
With that said, I didn't really plan out a full AU for it - I know a few people initially assumed it was part of the WKFA universe, but it's not - so when it comes to hcs or snippets I guess I can just think about it now?
I mean, several of my WKFA headcanons still apply to this fic's universe, too - RuLehends were exclusive fwbs during '22, Kanavi-Chovy-Lehends have been besties since Griffin days, etc. - so I suppose the most unique part would be the other side relationships featured in the fic, i.e. the Choker, GuKe and OZ. My thoughts on those can best be described as... situationships. Situationships everywhere. Primarily due to the fact that none of these players can communicate about their emotions for shit.
GuKe (as usual) are the ones who are the most together (other than CanMaker, who did get a subtle nod, but I digress) - like Ruler observes in the fic, they definitely have a couple-esque relationship, and everyone knows they've spoken for each other. They haven't quite put an official label on what they have yet, though, mostly because Keria doesn't really feel the need to, and that has been giving our possessive king Guma a smidge of anxiety. For the most part, they're doing everything a committed couple would do, from the pet names to the physicality to the quality time.
I think that Choker is very much still trying to figure out where they stand with each other - I mean we hear from Faker first-hand in the fic how he's trying to navigate how he feels about Chovy (since he's never really felt this way about anyone before), whereas Chovy openly flirts with him but internally is still very starstruck, very "what do you mean I could actually bag the Lee Sanghyuk". I hc that they first met up for lunch 1-on-1 at Worlds '22, and since then they've discovered that they enjoy each other's company and have been going out for "appointments" together throughout the '23 spring split. It's still very new to both of them, which is exciting, but also kind of terrifying, especially for Sanghyuk, since everyone expects him to be a paragon in all things.
OZ... lmao these nerds... Their current status is Zeus constantly googling "my stupid hot jungler keeps calling me his 'girlfriend' and teasing me and now we're sleeping together... help??" and the only response he's getting is missing pings. Oner thinks they're dating. Zeus thinks that Oner's straight and is just being a bro/fucking with him. Not an ounce of communication is going on. It's a time, but isn't it always.
So, yeah, those are some of my thoughts! Feel free to send another message if there's anything more specific you're curious about - I am always happy to chat.
Thanks again for reaching out, and have a good one!

In Another World, You Were Mine
In another world, we got to spend our high school years together, instead of being separated by a virus and by our computers.
In another world, I would have never gone to the States, would have been able to stay by your side and see you everyday.
In another world, we finally got to be in the same class together, trying to sit next to each other and giggling as we passed notes or played tic-tac-toe and drew in each other's notebooks.
In another world, at age 16, I would've summoned up the courage to confess my lingering romantic feelings, to ask if we could try again, go from queer platonic to romantic.
In another world, if you had said yes, we could've been dating throughout senior high, holding hands and sneaking kisses when no one was watching.
In another world, it's you instead of my (required to be male) prom date that I would've walked through our favorite mall with, checking out all of the shops of our childhood and laughing at silly toys in toy stores.
In another world, we would've applied to colleges together, celebrating when you got into your art school and holding our breath as I open my letters from the top schools in the country.
In another world, we might have had the courage to come out to our families again, this time on our terms.
(No, I'm sure we never would have been brave enough, at least not until we were adults and in schools where they were more accepting of queer students, but it's nice to imagine.)
In another world we would've been attending colleges a few hours drive away from each other in two different cities, instead of a 16 hour flight across two separate continents. We could've been hanging out on the weekends with the rest of our friends, catching up on college stories and complaining over schedules.
(In another world, I don't know if I would've still been alive to see any of this happen, but I wish I was even given the chance to try.)
But that's in another world, and in this world we had this:
A three-and-a-half years long queer-platonic relationship, full of laughs and playful flirting, before the time zone difference got too stressful for us and we broke it off.
Two debuts, barely three days apart despite our birthdays being 6 months apart (because that was the soonest I could come home to celebrate with all of you) where I was one of your candles and you were one of my roses with silly stories and heartfelt messages, where we danced as much as we could and drank to celebrate our adulthood.
A conversation in the bathroom, where I said I love you but I need to be in a relationship that's more physically affectionate than texts and video calls, one where I can actually go places with them and experience things in person.
A promise in the bathroom, where you said maybe in five years when we're done with school and if we're not seeing anybody, we can try again, but unless one of us is willing to move to the other's country then I don't know how we would even begin to manage to try again.
A flight back to the US, where I made the mistake of watching La La Land and Everything Everywhere All at Once and cried thinking about what could've been, about what we could've been, and what we were not.
A million thoughts in my head, saying I love you and I miss for you and I wanted to love you the way I wanted to but it never went how we imagined it was supposed to be. Saying I love you and you were the right person but it was simply the wrong place the wrong time the wrong circumstances. Saying if you read this poem please message me because I love you, and I haven't really talked to you in a while and that's mostly my fault, and I hope you're doing well and you're having a wonderful time where you are right now. Saying, over and over again, I love you I love you I love you I love you-
I love you, and I wish it worked out in this world.
But maybe in another world, you were mine.

what are ur thots on the fandom-typical depiction of the sunny-basil fight, specifically the whole ~yandere~ basil thing + depicting basil as having overpowered sunny at ANY point in that fight (which is soo weird to me bc like. he takes like twice as much damage as he deals). ig i should say ur thoughts on the fandom approach to basil in general bc aside from the 'soft uwu baby' approach (which is more fluff than substance imo but aside from that harmless), there seems to be a lot of people in the fandom with this INCREDIBLY weird fixation with violence and overwhelming hostility being directed at the gay mentally ill child (specifically from hero for some reason??) and its so 😐
............................. PPL STILL THINK BASIL IS A YANDERE..............................???????????
I'm sorry, anon, this just took me the fuck out I really thought people were past this but I guess the fuck not. I don't involve myself in the fandom that much since I mostly stick to my solitary bubble so I really miss this shit, huh
but to answer your question, the way people interpret and characterize Basil generally tends to annoy me lmao. like you kind of said here, there's this sliding scale of extremes where one side is "uwu pure soft flowerboy" and the other is like "crazy obsessive violent terrible awful" and it's so fuckin' wild.
the Basil and Sunny fight is such a great scene, so the fact that people spin it to be a moment of Basil overpowering Sunny in a yandere fit is. strange, to say the least. it's true that Basil has an actual weapon while Sunny doesn't, but his original intent wasn't to hurt Sunny at all, it was to kill himself. Sunny just happened to walk in the room while Basil was having a total mental break, and had a horrible impulse decision that a double suicide would be preferable to their miserable realities. like, it's definitely not a good thing, but that's leagues more interesting than "Basil yandere"
and yeah, I reeaaaally hate people's tendency to direct all of the hate and blame onto Basil. I think people are just looking for a scapegoat, and they're obviously not going to want to have any negative feelings towards Sunny because he's the protag and he gets a heartfelt resolution for his guilt. and, unfortunately, Basil kind of willingly turned himself into the scapegoat in canon, but the problem with that is there was never any.. actual.... resolution for Basil, so it's a lot easier for fandom to continue treating him like a punching bag because that's just how he was written throughout the entire game lol. (I'm not actually laughing though). but, big agree on the fact that all of it being directed at the one implicitly gay character is 😐😐😐
though, I haven't seen what you're saying about it mostly people portraying Hero treating Basil like that????? I must be dodging the biggest bullet because that sounds weird as hell

the viktor vector romance path + ending we deserve
Disclaimer: This is definitely something I came up with in my head. There will be a few instances that are solely made up so it can tie in with the “story.” This is purely fictional; something I wished happened if there was a possible Vik romance 🥰 This is based on my general knowledge of the game & Vik’s life. All gifs + images are from my own personal play through, but wouldn’t be possible without the help of the Appearance Menu Mod, found on Nexus Mods by the creators, MaximiliumM and CtrlAltDaz. And the shirtless Vik mod by the lovely samsnak ♡
It would start after completing the Paid In Full quest where you pay Vik back the eddies you owe him.
I feel like realistically, the general player would have to be at least halfway through the story to have collected enough eddies. I would say that a good point in the story where we can begin the romance is that you’ve already established a connection to Alt and have dealt with the VDB’s.
I think it would be a short side quest like River’s. Vik already plays a big part in the story overall on his own, so I don’t think it’s necessary to make his “side quest” too long. His romance would just be an addition to the ending.
And as much as I would love for him to be a bisexual option for both male/female V, if we’re sticking with the game’s standard with limiting partners to only one kind of partner, he would only be romance-able by a female V with a feminine voice.
Tumblr media
V: Finally scrounged up enough eddies to pay you back in full.
Vik: Hold on to ‘em just in case - you need ‘em more than me.
V: I’m not taking them all the way to my grave, Vik. Here. And.. thanks again for doing so much work on me ‘thout ever seein’ an enny.
Vik: That’s what friends are for.
Then, there is an additional option for dialogue to trigger the romance path.
V: Friends? I think you’ve been in and out of my body more than anyone else I’ve hooked up with in Night City.
He laughs, with a coy smile. “Well, can’t argue with you there. Why don’t we take some of these eddies and grab a drink. You know, to celebrate. Catch up on old times. Haven’t seen you round here much lately, kid.”
You agree to meet at the El Coyote Cojo tomorrow evening.
You meet around 9 PM and you are welcomed by the sight of Pepe and Vik at the bar.
V: Nice choice of venue.
Vik: Thought you’d like it. Haven't been here since.. well, you know.
V: I miss him, Vik.
Vik: I know, V. Me too.
Tumblr media
You immediately take a seat and tinker with a few dialogue options, where you can either have a sweet moment talking about Jackie or some surface questions to ask, like how he’s doing, what kind of drink he likes, etc. But it all winds down to Jackie anyway, where Vik confides in you about his past. Judging by how Vik was so affected by Jackie’s death, and V’s (if you chose the suicide ending), you can tell that he has lost a lot in his life, and keeps his circle very small.
Tumblr media
You then achieve an even closer, more personal relationship with him. But, ultimately nothing happens other than the usual, wait 24 hours in game for a text/phone call from Vik to head into the next stage. At least now, you have established the foundation for a future romance.
Halfway through the 24 hour period, you get a text from Vik thanking you for the lovely evening. No reply needed, as he calls you once the 24 hour mark hits and invites you out for another date.
Tumblr media
You meet at Tom’s Diner for coffee in the afternoon. It starts off with him apologizing for being emotional the previous night and asks if you’re open to hanging out again and going down to Pacifica to watch a fight with him.
Vik: Hey, V. I just wanted to apologize about last night. I didn’t mean to be such a downer.
V: It’s okay, Vik. We share the same grief.
Vik: I was going to head down to Pacifica and catch a real good match later on today. I was wondering if you’d like to come along, think it’d be great for the both of us, you know, as a distraction.
pssst even Johnny’s rooting for y’all ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Johnny: Hmm, interesting.
V: What?
Johnny: Never thought you'd be going out with this guy.
V: Vik's amazing. And I mean--we basically owe it to him since he practically saved our life.
Johnny: Don't tell me you're going out with him out of pity.
V: I'm not.
Johnny: I know, I can feel you get all mushy-gushy. It's almost repulsive. Just wanted to hear you admit it.
V: Eat a dick, Johnny.
Tumblr media
You arrive before the GIM and blend into the crowd.
V: Nothin’ like watching guys beat the shit out of each other to get your blood pumpin’, huh?
Vik: This is a real good matchup, V. This kid’s fresh, young talent.
V: You miss it, don’t you?
Before the fight begins, Vik shares a story about his time in the ring and coming in second in the Watson Boxing Grand Prix.
There’s some extra fun options in the dialogue, you can bet some eddies on who’s gonna win, or side with him. The fight ends, and you two head outside.
Since you’re already out in Pacifica, you head over to the boardwalk (where you would ride the roller coaster with Johnny) and he starts telling you about the last days of his boxing career and how he transitioned from the sport to being a ripperdoc.
Tumblr media
You both share a sweet moment with each other, reminiscing about old times and talking about V’s future with the relic. This is where I would see Vik confessing how he feels about you, mentioning how grateful he is for Jackie introducing you to him.
Tumblr media
The evening ends and Vik asks you to give him some time to try and dig up some footage from his storage and have you come over to watch. You can kiss him then wait another 24 in game hours before the last quest. Halfway through, he texts you and asks you what you’d like for dinner. You can opt for pizza or chinese.
I haven’t seen or read anything about how or where Vik lives. If I overlooked something, please let me know! But for the sake of the story, let’s say he does actually have his own place that’s now introduced in the game. Personally, I think he has a typical bachelor pad, like a really nice apartment. Not too far from his clinic either. He looks like he would just walk to work. Vik definitely has a lot of money, but he’s so humble I doubt he would choose to live lavishly. As mentioned in the beginning, he typically just “sleeps nights” ever since he was over “being a legend” so I’m guessing his lifestyle is very routine. He goes to work, goes home, sleep. Seems unlikely he has a place like the Peralez’s. It would probably be just the same as V’s but decorated to his taste.
The evening comes and you are over at his place. He’s dressed in just a white undershirt, no exo-glove. You get to know more about his family, how he grew up — scanning things around his place. Then he plays some footage of one of his fights for you, while you two have a conversation and share a beer. As you two sit on the couch, you get close, then have an opportunity to kiss him.
then this is where da sex happen hihihi (ノ・ω・)ノ
Tumblr media
The next morning you wake up and you two have a heartfelt conversation about where this is going. He already knows your situation, so I would assume he is very accepting and supportive. And with Vik, he seems like the kind of guy who would still want to be in your life and keep the friendship the same way despite no longer being together romantically. So it’s official. He’s your man 🥵 !!11!1!
Like how River gives you the “fuck the police” tank top after sleeping with him, I think Vik would give you his Night City Devils t-shirt that provides you with a significant amount of armor or some kind of cyberware upgrade that makes you invulnerable for a brief moment while using your hands to fight enemies.
Note: I was thinking of Vik giving V his boxing glove necklace, but because it's part of his character's appearance in the game, I don't think we would be able to essentially "take it" from him - unless he gives you a replica as a keepsake. Which I think would also work.
If you successfully romance, during the rooftop scene near the end of Nocturne OP55N1 (despite Vik’s disposition of him telling you to take matters in your own hands and being a little closed off), you still have an option to reach out to him when Johnny advises you to call a loved one.
V: Hey, Vik. I just wanted to say, thanks for hanging with me, until the end.
Vik: Quit talking like it is, V. Just do what you need to do.
V: I mean, think of it. It’s like I’m heading into the last round of this whole thing.
Vik: Well, in that case.. remember—keep your hands up, guarded at all times. It ain’t over just yet.
V: Heh.. I can feel it, just a few more punches.
Vik: Now look at you - the new welterweight champ of Night City.
V: Thanks, coach.
Vik: Last piece of advice from the coach's corner. Just.. be careful, kid. Remember, I’m with you.
Okayyyy, soooo I’m not the biggest fan of how CDPR gave us two of the same endings (Path of Glory). The only difference is that Rogue’s life is spared. I would have assumed that not only would we get to keep Rogue around, things should have played a bit more differently for V if we took the route of going solo against the corpos. So let’s tweak it.
Tumblr media
This specific ending; it should be after getting through Don’t Fear The Reaper where you single-handedly manage to rip through Arasaka by yourself. Johnny goes back to Alt & Rogue is still alive. Yes nobody dies!!!
(honestly this ending can apply to any love interest you choose)
Vik and V are now living together in a lavish penthouse, entertaining an upcoming merc to do their work for them (which is now the current POV of the player.) You were recruited by Rogue at the Afterlife, who told you to visit this couple for a real, preem job.
They give you some vague details about the gig and go on for a brief moment about what you will be doing and what you should expect. Vik emphasizes to you that it’s important you get what they need because it’s for his wife, V, as her life depends on it.
As Never Gonna Fade Away is playing in the background, they tell you to break into Arasaka HQ.
Tumblr media
Then the game officially ends.

Alone, Jamie Dornan and Caitriona Balfe are global superstars with massive followings and a passionate fan base. From Outlander and Ford v. Ferrari (her) to Fifty Shades of Grey and Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar (him), they have ignited our TV and movie screens for well over a decade. But put them together for their new film Belfast, and they have more star power than my Zoom has ever seen.
The two Irish actors star as “Pa” and “Ma” in director-writer Kenneth Branagh's poignant and heartfelt story of one boy's childhood (played by revelatory newcomer Jude Hill) during the tumult of the late ‘60s in the city of Branagh’s birthplace. Based on the Oscar nominee's own experience, Dornan and Balfe are magnetic to watch, and that chemistry translates in multitudes off-screen as well.
On this day, they're together in a Los Angeles hotel room the evening after Belfast's U.S. premiere, where Dornan took the stage at the film's after-party to sing “Everlasting Love.” The song—first recorded in the late '60s—has become the film's unofficial theme, thanks to its presence in the trailer. But at the after-party, he recreated the moment for those lucky enough to be in attendance, and it's since made the rounds pretty much everywhere.
“Yeah, I have not seen any response to it, so I think if I did, I'd probably feel regret doing it, but maybe, I don't know,” Dornan says with a laugh." Even though Balfe assures him it was absolutely brilliant—which I co-sign—he's a bit hesitant. Like most actors, Dornan says he can read all the positive reviews in the world, and the one bad one will be all he thinks about. Still, he concedes that his performance was “a bit of fun and a release…and also getting over a fear thing, which I think is really important to do in your life. I maybe look like I was having [a blast up] there, but I was really terrified. I think that's part of the reason I do this for a living. I'm terrified of acting in front of people, but it's good to conquer those fears.”
I kiddingly assure the 39-year-old he has quite the future ahead of him, but he says “maybe I'll just perform at people's premieres. That will be my new side gig.” Balfe interjects: “And weddings, Bar, and Bat Mitzvahs.”
That teasing is part of the reason why the two are perfect on-screen—and in this Zoom. While they might be exhausted from traveling internationally and doing lots of press—plus, Balfe has a newborn at home—they aren't showing it. With plenty of Oscar buzz building and just a genuine appreciation for starring in what's being called Branagh's most personal film yet, if you thought their star power was bright enough as is, just wait until you see Belfast. Here, they talk about singing, dancing, and why poor Dornan just wasn't a fit for Outlander.
Glamour: When did you first meet each other? And what were your first impressions?
Caitriona Balfe: We were sort of introduced to each other in Toronto about two years ago. We were both there on separate projects, but…
Jamie Dornan: Actually I had two movies there [at the Toronto International Film Festival].
Caitriona: Oh actually, sorry, he had two movies out. But Drake Doremus, who directed one of your movies (Endings, Beginnings) that you were there for, I worked with him a long time ago, so I think he had introduced us. And it was one of those things, we know a bunch of people in common, our paths have been slightly similar, and it was a very strange thing that we hadn't met up to this point. And I thought, “Whoa, he is not as tall as I thought he was.”
Jamie: I remember thinking she's too tall for me to ever work with her. And when I knew it was going to be you I was like, I'm going to be on an apple box for most of the shoot.
Caitriona: That didn't happen. [Laughs]
Glamour: Jamie, have you ever watched Outlander?
Jamie: No. You know what? I haven't, no. I'll just own that. I wouldn't try lie about it, but actually Caitriona did say yesterday that apparently I'm not the target audience. So I don't really know, married men approaching 40, is that not? Was I the target audience seven years ago when it began?
Caitriona: No. Well, I wouldn't say he was a demographic that…initially responded to our show, right? I would say it's a more female-driven audience and at least initially in the beginning, I think it was people who had read the books. So the first books came out in '92. I would've said they would have skewed slightly older.
Jamie: I see, yes.
Caitriona: [Now] we have pretty much people of all ages watch it.
Jamie: That's a tall cast.
Caitriona: Sam [Heughan] is taller than you. Tobias [Menzies] is taller than you.
Jamie: Come on, mate.
Caitriona: Graham's taller than you. I think, yeah. [Laughs]
Caitriona, have you seen any of Jamie's previous work?
Caitriona: I have seen some. I have not seen Fifty Shades.
Jamie: Good.
Caitriona: And I may have only seen an episode or two of The Fall.
Jamie: Who stops it on episode two of The Fall? Jesus Christ.
Caitriona: I don't know yeah, but it's very good.
Jamie: I'm not good enough to continue with, but “it's good.” [Laughs]
Glamour: Oh my gosh, you guys are killing me. [Laughs] So what drew you to Belfast?
Caitriona: I wanted to work with Jamie Dornan from The Fall.
Jamie: She's [only watched] about a hundred minutes of The Fall, and it was enough to know that she wanted to work with me.
Caitriona: No. [Laughs]
Jamie: Yeah. I mean, when [the script for Belfast] came my way, the only cast was Judi Dench, who I had heard of in quite a big way. And that alone was just enough, and I knew that everyone else they were wanting to fill the cast with were really exciting people too. And I'm from Belfast, it's bit of a no-brainer. If someone like Kenneth Branagh is making a movie about your hometown, you want in. If I'm being honest with myself, I could have read the script, not really liked it, and still said yes, probably. But luckily I read it and was bowled over by it and felt this is one of the greatest gifts I've ever been offered as an actor to this point. So it was easy, yes.
Caitriona: And I think I was one of the last to come onto [the project], so when I first got the call, it was already pretty much set up. It was going to be Judi, Ciarán, Jamie…but my agent had called and said, “There is this project, these are the people involved.” And then it was, “Would you read the script and will you get on the Zoom with Ken?” And the script is beautiful. Ken, I think, is known more for his acting and directing, but he's an incredible writer. The character was amazing and she really spoke to me. So it all was just a quick yes.
Glamour: What is your favorite “I got to work with” Judi Dench story? Wait, what are you doing Jamie? (He's putting on his face mask inside the hotel room.)
Jamie: Sorry, I'm a fiddly person. [Laughs] But yes, Caitriona has more scenes with her than me overall, even though she was my mother and your mother-in-law. My favorite story was when we were doing all the cinema stuff, which we did in one afternoon and we're showing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. And I turned to Judi and said, “Geez, Judi, how many times have you seen this movie? Must be countless.” Well, she's never. I said, “What do you mean ‘never?’ You've never seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?” She says, “No, I went to see Bambi when I was a kid and it was so gruesome what happens and the mother dies early on." And then she also saw Snow White and somebody ate the apple and died. I don't remember the one other movie she mentioned…
Glamour: Was it Fifty Shades? She's seen Fifty Shades about 10 times, right?
Jamie: Of course she's seen that. I mean, she doesn't live in underground. Oh, yeah, wait, it was Dumbo, which again it's pretty harrowing stuff, and it just put her off the movies. So she's hardly seen any movies. So I sort of tested her on it and said, “Have you seen The Godfather?” And she's like, “Good heavens, no!”
Caitriona: I mean, it's incredible that she's been in so many amazing films and she doesn't [see movies]. There's a scene in our film where myself and Judi are sitting at the table and Will (Lewis McAskie) is in the room with us and Jamie and Ciarán and Jude are in the back. And Ken just asked us to improv loads, which is one of the most, I think, amazing things I'll ever have done in my career—improv with Judi Dench, because she's wickedly funny. She is one of the most youthful and effervescent people you'll ever meet. She just has this energy and this light about her.
Jamie: Spark.
Caitriona: And yeah, you kind of have to stop yourself from sort of staring at her, or at least I do. Like, she's a person, stop. But it was amazing just getting to work with her and getting to play with her was just amazing.
Jamie: Ken's worked with her, I think, 12 times, and that's obviously very unique and rare, but just to have said you've worked with her, it's such a massive gift. To work with her that closely is such a treat.
Caitriona: And Lewis (who plays our son, Will) turned 15 when we were filming the movie, and when they were shooting the funeral scene, he had this really great 60s-cut suit. Lewis was like, “I love this suit,” and it was his birthday the next week. And Judi went ahead and bought him the suit. That's the kind of person she is. She heard it, remembered it and knew it would be a special thing. He was so thrilled. I mean, he was wearing it just last week.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(gifs from @brian-in-finance… because there’s a first time for everything)
Jamie: He was wearing it at the premiere, too. It's so cute.
Glamour: So, we have to talk more about the “Everlasting Love” song and dance scene, which is so charming and fun to watch. Jamie, that's you singing right?
Jamie: Yeah, but not on the day. Thankfully I recorded the track after we finished, a few months after. So on the day I'm just lip syncing to Love Affair (who recorded it in 1968, after Robert Knight recorded it first). But in the finished cut, you have to really listen live for, but there's both of our vocals on there. I feel my vocals start stronger and then they sort of fade me out. [Laughs] So it goes all away a bit maybe, which is fair enough. And it should definitely be led by [Love Affair's Steve Ellis] very powerful and amazing vocal. But yeah, in the final edit I'm in there, but not solely me. Nope.
Glamour: How much rehearsal did you do for that scene?
Caitriona: Well, there was a lot. We did quite a bit of dance rehearsals, but it was a lot of stolen time because there wasn't a huge amount of free time. We would have a lunch time here or an afternoon there, lots of Jamie and I sort of standing in front of our trailer going, “What was that song again? What was the step?” But Aletta Collins, our choreographer, was amazing. She found a way of giving us something we could actually achieve just about. But it's such an important moment in the story and it's such an important moment for the two characters. They're getting to that point where they're almost ready to break up and it's almost completely fractured, but you have this beautiful moment where they remember the foundation of their love, so no matter what happens…
Jamie: Love is everlasting.
Caitriona: The love is everlasting. There you go.
Glamour: Finally, there's that scene, Jamie, with you as Pa and Jude as Buddy, where you talk about respecting different religions. What's the message you hope audiences take away when they walk out of the theater?
Jamie: I think it's probably pretty close to that final moment. I think it's relatable to any civil war or any division that is tribal and really hard to understand that started a long time ago. And you get to a point where you're like, “Jesus Christ, if we are honestly here because they go to that church and they go to that church, is that the reason we're all fucking…" I mean, this is nuts. I'm a big advocate at home in Northern Ireland about integrating the school system [which is] less than 5%…integrated Catholic/Protestant, which is a shocking statistic. And so many of the problems would be fixed as a result of that. So that scene at the end where Pa says he doesn't care what religion the girl is that his son likes, as long as he respects her, and then her family will always be welcome…that is applicable to so many situations. It's universal. I think it's part of the reason that movie has been so warmly received by lots of different people, in different places. It just distills everything down, so I think if people come out of it with a sense of that, [then we did our job]. If we can all treat each other well, that would be a good thing.
Glamour: Beautifully said. And what was the most heartwarming thing about working with Jude, who is truly a revelation?
Caitriona: Jude was just such a joy to watch and to be around. I mean, both him and Lewis and Lara (who plays cousin Moira), are such great kids. And Jude and Lewis were like real brothers on the set, and he had such a lot to carry on his shoulders since he was in so much of the film. And then when he wasn't filming, they were sent to tutoring. So he was just always busy and he never complained. He was never tired, he was always prepared and it just made things really easy.
Jamie: Yeah, he has so much to do, it's his film, we're all just hanging about. But he always knew his lines. Didn't he?
Caitriona: Yeah.
Jamie: I mean, certainly compared to you.
Caitriona: [Laughs] Not true.
Jamie: No, we were all ready. You don't want to be messing up in front of the lights of Ken and everyone.
Remember… Dornan and Balfe are magnetic to watch, and that chemistry translates in multitudes off-screen as well. — Glamour
If you looked at this post and thought TLDR, think again. The Balfe-Dornan banter is gold.

Part 2 — Part 3
Tumblr media
“Really? it's not too much, isn't it?” Amanda asked checking her ass in the full-length mirror on the closet door. “I feel overdressed, look at you!” She pouts pointing the plain outfit of Sofia.
“What?” She shrugged looking down at her clothes, white halter crop top with skinny black jeans and Adidas kicks. “Well, I'm not trying to impress anyone.”
“It's too much. I'm putting some jeans and a blouse.” She said shaking her head and walked to her friend to unzip her dress. Amanda let it fall on the floor and walked half-naked to the closet.
“Keep the shoes, though. They're sexy.” Sofía pointed out walking to the bed and laid down across it, watching her friend change. “Dude, I haven't seen you this nervous in a while.” She laughs.
“It's because I'm meeting his friends and you're meeting him,” Amanda explained pulling her long legs into some blue jeans.
“I always hated your boyfriends, from the get-go. Always.” Sofía said with a frown. “But he seems sweet,”
“Yes,” Amanda said with a smile, stopping what she was doing to give her a look. “He's sweet, real sweet.” she wiggles her eyebrows at her.
“Thanks for the image of you blowing the guy now.” Sofía laughed throwing her a pillow, that Amanda catches mid-air and throws it back at her.
“Wouldn't be the worst thing you catch me doing,” Amanda laugh and slip into her shoes again. “Remember ass-Steven-hole?”
“Ugh, God. I don't want to.” Sofía laughed shaking her head and get off the bed. “Let's go, señorita. Let's meet at the novio.”
“Why are you Spaninglish?” Amanda asked walking out if the room. “Wait. You high?”
“Nope.”
She was so fucking high.
The place was a bar downtown, nice, and had the perfect amount of people not to be overcrowded. There were a few pool tables on the back, darts, and even recently they attached a little dance floor.
Amanda wanted to come here because it was Latino night, not only because Sofia was Latina but it was mostly she liked the music and wanted to dance around and have a really good night.
“Now I know why you wanted to come,” Sofía said eyeing the banner hanging outside, 'latino night' it read. “Seems like a nice place, are they already inside?”
“Yeah,” Amanda said checking her phone. “They're in the back by the pool tables.” She said and grabbed Sofia’s hand and dragged her inside.
“Wait, wait,” Sofía said halting to a stop. “Look at that girl, good God.” The girl said, appreciating the other girl, slightly shorter than her with long strawberry blonde and bright green eyes, she was a contrast of Sofia’s appearance she was about 5’10”-ish, had deep black hair and stopped right in her clavicles with very loose curls, his eyes were the perfect shade of black, giving her a unique stare, her skin was brown also had a whole arm tattooed.
“We didn't even get to where they are, could you like to say hi and then go hunting?” Amanda pouted looking at the girl too, “And she's way to straight to your bisexual charms.” she pointed out like the girl in question wrapped her arms around some guys' neck.
“The cute ones are always straight.” Sofía scoffed shaking her head and walked along, laughing. “Alright, alright.”
“Sofi, can I ask you something?” Amanda stopped and turn around to give her friend's look, beating her eyelashes. Sofia rolled her eyes and sigh, already knowing what she was talking about.
“I'll try to behave.” She said with a pout not really waiting for Amanda for asking; Sofia had a habit of annoying the absolute fuck of her when she liked someone, or when the guy was an absolute asshole she would let said dude know and whatever was there too. “If he's an asshole, I won't shut it.”
“He's not an asshole, I promise.” Her friend beamed and grabbed her hand, leading her back to the end of the bar.
Chris was on his fourth beer when his friend, Luke, scrambled out of the booth and stand up, searching for someone on the crowd
“What's going on?” He asked and gave him a weak punch on the back of his arm.
“Mandy's here with her friend,” Luke answered him and wave his hand. Chris nod and look at where a beautiful, emphasis on beautiful blonde walked into his arms and crush her lips on his mouth.
The blonde girl, Mandy—he was sure now. Was still holding another girl's hand and when he lay eyes on the girl…
“Holy shit,” Chris mumbled as soon his eyes landed on that beauty, perfect everything. The kind of girl he described when someone asked what would be his dream girl. No more describing, there she was on the flesh.
“Hi, I'm her evil twin.” Sofía introduced herself as she shakes Luke's hand and he let out a heartfelt laugh.
“She is though, don't know why you laughing,” Amanda told Luke holding the laugh and his face change, fearing that he had fucked up. “Oh no, we're just fucking with you.” Amanda quickly said with a laugh and lean over to plant a kiss on him again.
“Oh, That's how it's gonna be?” He asked shaking his head, smiling while holding Amanda from her waist.
“Probably,” Sofía laughed. “Nice to meet you, dude. I've heard a lot about you.”
“Nice things, I hope.” He said with a smile.
“Oh yeah,” Sofía said winking at Luke and Amanda facepalmed herself and he let out another laugh.
“Sofia,” Amanda said with a warning. “You promise!”
“I say that I'll try and I'm trying but when it's that easy I can't help myself, Amanda,” Sofía explained. “He's laughing, look!” She pointed at Luke chuckling. “It's all good, Brenda Bunson.” She said nudging her friend.
And she's funny, Chris added to his quick list in his mind of all the things he liked about her now. He was about to get up and get all over that but she quickly disappeared in the crowd after exchanging a few extra words.
With a sip of his beer he did get up to greet Amanda, she was nice and funny too. Easily could see how Luke was crazy about her, they sat back down on the booth, still waiting at some other friends.
“Oh, this is Sofia’s beer!” Amanda exclaimed looking at the label on Chris beer bottle. “She works at the brewery.”
“Sofia is the girl you came with?” Chris asked leaning over the table trying to hear her over the shouting and Amanda nod a few times.
Sofia was leaning over the bar, Since Luke was nice, she thought that she will return the gesture and get some drinks on her.
“Hi there,” A random men approached her, elbow resting on the counter trying to be smooth, he obviously has a few drinks in he couldn't even focus on her face, his eyes kept going to her non-existent cleavage, just staring at his tits through her top.
“Hey, man. What's up?” She greeted back because she was nice like that, but not really paying him much attention.
“Not much, until I saw you. Can I buy you a drink?” He offered and she snorts.
“Nah, I already ordered. Thanks anyway.” She said giving him a wide smile and turn her attention back to the bartender that was giving her the beers, she was about to pay but the guy decided to pitch in and told the bartender to put it on his tab.
“No really, let me. I can afford it.” He said and Sofia raised an eyebrow while taking the beers and downing the two shots of whiskey to take the edge off. “Damn, you can drink too.”
“Look, thanks for the beers but I'm here with my friends. We're just chilling” She said pointing at her table. “I have to go.” Sofía nod at him and went about her way.
“Okay, okay. I get it,” He said getting in front of her. “What about a dance, later.”
“Yeah, sure. Alright.” She said with a shrugged. “Bye.” Sofía smiled and walked past him going back the to table, where Amanda was laughing with Luke's friend.
Sofia squints her eyes, do I know this dude? She asked herself, yes yes I do. She resolved after a few seconds. But from where? Oh shit—Did I fucked this dude? She panic because she wasn't up for an awkward meeting. Sofia retracted and wiped out her cellphone.
Who dat??????? I know him😐
Sofia saw how she quickly tipped back on her phone and read the incoming message.
CAPTAIN AMERICA. I'm freaking the fuck out, Luke's like his BFF. Oh my God oh my god.
Sofia’s soul came back to her body as she let out the air she was holding and give her a quick response.
Oh, I thought I fucked him and this thing was going to be awkward.
She put her phone back to her back pocket and grabbed the beers from the empty table and walked back to the booth.
“Hey, the evil twin is back!” Luke joked and Sofia laughed. “And brought beer!” He said grabbing two beers from Sofia’s hand.
“She's nice like that,” Amanda said chugging down half a glass, she was freaking out.
“Mm—Sofía this is my dude, Chris. Chris, this is Sofia the evil twin.” Luke said chucking introducing those two.
“Hi, nice to meet you!” Sofía said leaning down and give him a kiss on the cheek and Chris downright flushed.
“Likewise, Thanks for the beer!” He said scooting further into the booth giving her some space, he was dumbfounded.
So fucking gorgeous. After a few more beers and the fact that more of Luke's friends came along with some girlfriends, they all decided to move to another booth on the dance floor.
Amanda was getting wasted with Luke and Sofia was mildly drunk, still drinking beer with the occasional shot that one of the guys keeps giving her, she was engaged in a conversation with Chris and a few other guys.
Amanda was looking at them and Luke nudge her on her side.
“I think Chris likes her,” He said and Amanda gives him an obviously look.
“Don't you say,” She laughed. “Look at his body language, it's all over her. Leaning over, touching her, and pretty much batting his eyelashes at her.”
“He's back with his girlfriend, again. It's pretty messy…” Luke said looking at them.
“Keep spilling that tea, baby,” Amanda said sucking the straw from her drink and Luke let out a laugh.
“He's not really the kind of dude to cheat on their girlfriends. It's not going to happen anything.”
“And Sofía it's not really the type to mess with someone she knows it's already taken,” Amanda replied.
“It's a conundrum,” Luke said burping, and Amanda couldn't feel more in love with this gigantic dork.
“I don't know how you do it, I'll be constantly drunk and not be able to do my job.” Ryan, one of Luke's friends said at Sofia, they were talking about her work at the brewery.
“The first month I was working drunk,” They laughed.
“Are you serious?” Chris asked taking a swing of his beer.
“Yes!,” She exclaimed. “Free beers for the employees and everyone is drinking all the fucking time. I had to keep up!” Sofía explained emptying her beer in one go. “And I wasn't an avid beer drinker, like now,” She said shaking the empty beer bottle. “imma get one more, you guys want another?”
“No for me, I think I'm gonna head out.” Ryan said pointing with his head at her girlfriend barely walking back from the bathroom. “Such a lightweight. Two beers, I swear.” He laughed getting up from the booth and quickly go to get her, shouting his goodbyes over his shoulders.
“She'll be fun to get into a taxi.” Sofía frown watching Ryan struggle a little bit, the girl was being a little touchy. Chris chuckle and she looked at him. “Want one?”
“Yeah, thanks.” He smiled and watched her go until he felt a punch in his arm.
“Dude, dude.” It was Luke making a face, Chris understood perfectly because he knew that she'll be trouble, sweet sweet trouble.
You know how awful was someone whispering into your ear “you owe me a dance” accompanied by the stench that someone how was way passed in drinks had and their fucking wandering hands.
“Man, you need to back off,” Sofía said taking his hands off her and started to walk to the bar, this men was hot on her heels, it was the same one that offered to buy her drinks a while back.
“Hey, don't walk away,” He slurred at her, way more intoxicated than before. When Sofia didn't even acknowledge that he spoke at her, things escalate. “Hey, hey you owe me a fucking dance!” He shouted at her, rather angry, and grabbed her by the arm while she waited by the bar for the beers. He turned her around and started to drag her to the dance floor.
“Let go, asshole!” She said grabbing his hand and remove it from her arm and pushed him making him stumble backward a few steps. The idiot, cursed her and stumble forward and attempt to grab her again but Sofia was quicker and sucker punch him sending his drunk ass to the ground, blood pouring off his nose.
“Holy shit,” She heard Chris mumble behind her, who had seen the idiot drag her and came to help, but she already helped herself out.
“You fucking bitch! are you insane?” The dude said scrambling back from the floor and started walking back at her but Chris put a hand on his chest and hold him there.
“Back the fuck off, man.”
“She's fucking crazy,” The dude said and wipe the blood from his nose and went off again and this time Chris pushed him.
“Back off, leave her alone.” He told him pulling his Steve Rogers captain voice and some people started to recognize him. The dude went off again, but Sofia couldn't help herself and pushed him back to the ground and grabbed Chris's hand.
“Come on, we need to go.” She said dragging him off the club with one hand and texting with her.
Mand, I punch a dude, I'm outside with Chris! 😂
“Mandy is going to freak out,” Sofía said as they waited by the side of the bar where just a couple of persons minding their own business to notice him. She laughs as she took her hand, it kind of hurts.
“You okay?” Chris asked grabbing her hand to look at it.
“Yeah,” She said looking at his hands inspecting and hers. “A little shaken up,” Sofía laughed. “But it was kind of awesome.”
Chris let out a laugh as he, not really wanting because her hands were soft, let go of her hand. “It was a mean punch, really.”
“I know, right?!” She exclaimed as she acted up the punch again making him laugh again and her hand hurt a little.”Ow.”
“You need some ice,” Chris said grabbing her hand again. “So it doesn't swell.”
“Sofi!” Amanda comes out running on little steps for her high heels, Luke was close behind with her purse and both of their coats. n “Mandy, I'm fi—
“Are you okay?!” Her friend said as she looked over her, grabbing her hand from Chris and looked it over. “Does it hurt? you need an ice pack.”
“I'm fine,”
“Are you?”
“Yes, mother.”
Amanda glare her and rolled her eyes at her, the blonde looked back at the two boys and invite them over, the night still young she said.

I'm Not a Bad Person- Chapter 7
Tumblr media
SUMMARY: Troy Otto does have feelings you know. Especially when it comes to his childhood friend, Jaymie. Whatever they are, they're rooted deep, and growing.
PAIRING: Troy Otto x OFC
TRIGGERS/ WARNINGS: Language and the typical FTWD stuff
WORD COUNT: Fuck if I know
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Sorry I took so long getting this chapter together. I changed my mind on how I wanted to present an upcoming thing. On to the usual note: my plan is to follow along with season 3, but with Jaymie involved. I'll veer off and switch shit up a lot. It'll be in different characters' perspectives throughout the series. I'm not great at writing but I try my best. Hope you like it enough. All characters except OFC don't belong to me.

Chapter 7
(Alicia's POV)
A moment ago I was dreading the thought of attending Gretchen's Bible study. However, as a freshly packed bong is passed my way, I am pleasantly surprised to find that my expectations were shattered. I asked about Geoff, whom Gretchen had mentioned at lunch. She exchanged guarded looks with the two boys and Jaymie, then got up and headed towards a barrel, in which she pulled out a smaller sized cage. In it was a living, decapitated head. She placed it on the table in front of me. Seeing the biggest threat to the human race vulnerable and behind thin bars had me feeling sovereign. The THC shrouded my mind and I laughed for the first time in what felt like ages.
"Geoff wants to know what it's like out there," Gretchen states on behalf of the snarling head, referring to life outside of the ranch; where the dead have taken over.
"Chaos, ruin, and it changes you; not like Geoff- something worse... Can I ask Geoff something?" Gretchen nods. "Who are the Ottos?"
Gretchen and the boys tell me all about the founding family, which leads to a comment about Geoff being indifferent about Troy. "Troy took Geoff's body," Gretchen whispers loudly.
"Troy's done a lot worse than that." They really have no clue. From the corner of my eye, I notice Jaymie shifting uncomfortably on the other end of the couch.
"Troy and the militia do what we can't. They protect us." Gretchen defends him after giving Jaymie a sympathetic look.
Dare I say it? Yes. I dare. "If people here knew what he really did at the border, everyone would feel differently. You would feel differently."
"Alicia." I meet Jaymie's eyes to see a silent plea for me to stop.
I think of what he did to Luciana's people. I think of Travis being thrown in a pit to fight the dead on Troy's command. I think of what would have happened to Nick if- "No. I don't get it, Jaymie. I don't understand how you can defend him the way you do when you know what he's done."
The girl looked somewhere between heartbroken and pissed. "You have no idea what he's really like, Alicia. And you haven't got a clue as to what he's done for me." She seemed to stop herself too late from saying the second part; like she didn't mean to say it out loud.
Now I'm curious. "Well why don't you tell me what he's really like!" Angry sarcasm spews from my lips. "And what the hell has he done for you that nullifies the murdering of innocent people?!"

After yet another long night of hitting the bottle, a very inebriated Jackie stumbled down the hallway to her own bedroom, passing her daughter's on the way. She slurred boisterously, "Jaymie, I'm home! Love you, sweetie!" as she staggered by. Jaymie huffed a sigh of exasperation, but yelled an "I love you too, Mom," anyway.
About 5 or so minutes later, she heard her mother throwing up through the thin walls. Jaymie rolled her eyes in annoyance, put her earbuds in, and fell asleep to some music to drown out the nauseating sounds in the room next to hers.
When she awoke in the late morning, Jaymie made her way to the kitchen to fix her mother the usual mug of green tea, a slice of buttered wheat toast, and a bottle of water to help with the hangover she knew Jackie would have.
Jaymie kicked gently at her mom's bedroom door as to knock, since her hands were full, then skillfully raised her leg up and turned the knob with her foot and toes. "Wake up, Mom. It's almost noon." Jaymie sat the tea, toast, and water on Jackie's dresser and made her way to the windows to open the curtains and blinds. "I need a ride to the ranch. I told Troy I'd help him clean out the stables today." She turns away from the brightness, the sunlight bringing the room to life; everything except- "Mom?" Jaymie stands frozen, time itself stopping, as her gaze falls on her mother's pale, lifeless body; vomit dried to her face and sheets.
Jackie's eyes are open, but she can't see her daughter rushing to her side; can't feel her daughter's hands grab her arm to shake her, only to pull back in horror at both the rigermortis which had set in, and the feel of her cold skin; can't hear her daughter's heartwrenching screams and cries; can't recognize the pleads coming from her daughter's lips to come back, to not leave her, telling her she loves her, becoming that little girl again calling her 'Mommy,' instead of 'Mom.'
After a short while, Jaymie called the Otto residence. Jake had been the one to answer the phone. In between the sobs and panicked breathing, he pieced together what happened. After alerting Troy and their father, Jake stayed on the phone with Jaymie for a bit longer while the other two went to help her.
Troy rushed into Jaymie and Jackie's home and found his best friend back against the wall in her mother's room with her arms around her legs, pulling them to her chest. He was at her side in no time at all, and she threw her arms around him, burying her face in the crook of his neck, letting the rest of her tears soak into his flannel shirt. He wrapped her up in his firm embrace, keeping her body snug up against his own. That was the first time Troy held Jaymie in his arms.
Jeremiah had called 9-1-1 after taking a long, sad look at his friend that he and his late wife had spent many nights drinking and playing cards with.
Once the police, EMTs, and coroner had arrived and done their jobs, and Jackie was taken away in a body bag, Jeremiah and Troy took Jaymie back home to the ranch. The two teens rode in the back of the pickup, Troy once again holding his friend in the comfort of his arms. He didn't know how to empathize much, but he hated seeing Jaymie so heartbroken. He wished he could take that pain from her; though there was something about that moment that had him feeling warm and, happy? Then he realized: it was because he felt needed. He was needed.
The Ottos had intended for Jaymie to stay there with them, but several days after Jackie's funeral, a woman from social services showed up. Apparently Jaymie's father, John, requested custody of her. This was completely unexpected, as John had left his daughter and her mother 5 years prior, with no contact since. Jaymie was stressed out far worse than any 12 year old should be, but what made matters worse was that John lived 8 hours away from the ranch. Jaymie was devastated, and frightened. Troy was already coming apart at the seams at the mention of her having to leave; she was his anchor.
They both held it together well enough thanks to daily phone calls. Little by little though, Jaymie's spirits seemed to dampen, her voice became meeker, and in the middle of a sentence she would suddenly state that she had to go, and hung up. Troy knew something was wrong. He wanted to go to her, to check on her, to rescue her from whatever it was that had her on edge; but he didn't know her father's address.
Some time later, Troy received a letter with Jaymie's name above the return address. He opened it in a hurry. However, as he read her heartfelt words, his eyes began uncharacteristically flooding, his face heated up and turned an angry shade of red, and then everything in his mind went black.
