Note: hii guys so after reading A LOT of amazing fics, I decided to finally start writing my own again (I used to write and publish books on wattpad but stopped for a while) 😭 also I kept sending requests and felt kinda annoying for constantly spamming authors lmaoo but I love all their work sm ❤️ so here’s my first Minho fic heheh hope you enjoy :))

Summary: to escape from the pressures of being a greenie, you run and hide in the deadheads, accidentally stumbling upon the runners hut, where you encounter someone alluring.

The revelation that I was the only girl in the glade made me want to pull all my hair out and vanish off the face of this earth. It had already been a few hours since I arrived but my mind still struggled to grasp the fact that I was the only girl here, in a glade full of boys, or men. So far, Newt and Alby have been accomodating which I was immensely grateful for, they have already set the bar so high that I’m now worried about having to meet the other gladers.

Apparently, it was tradition to throw a bonfire evening for the “greenie” each month, and fortunately for me, I was the greenie this month.

The moment I arrived, the boys seemed determined to throw me into some strange tradition involving a concoction Gally made “Come on greenie, it’s tradition!” One of the boys, Jack, jeered, holding out a cup filled with the suspicious drink.

Newt, who was seated beside me, shook his head, “I wouldn’t drink that if I were you.” He chuckled.

“I’ll pass Jack, thanks.” I brought my knees to my chest.

“Now that’s no fun! Just a sip!” George, another glader, insisted, pushing the drink closer to my face.

The tiniest whiff of whatever that beverage comprised of made me gag. “Oh- eugh! Please I don’t want that!” I shove his hand away.

“It’s tradition! Come on don’t break the streak! Even I downed three cups!” Tyler remarked.

I glanced around, the pressure was getting heavier and their voices were starting to echo in my head. “You might have to outrun them greenie!” Frypan teased.

Panic surged through me, and I bolted. I could hear their laugher and shouts behind me, urging me to stop and that Fry was only joking, but I didn’t dare look back. My heart raced as I ran blindly through the glade, towards the deadheads, searching for a place to hide.

I spotted a hut up ahead and, without thinking, dashed inside, slamming the door shut behind me. I leaned against it, panting and gasping for breath, my heart thudding in my chest.

Were they chasing after me? Should I stay here until the next morning? Where am I going to sleep? Hundreds of thoughts raced my mind at once and I needed to get away from everyone.

A throat cleared behind me, and I jumped, spinning around to see a tall, imposing figure watching me with amused curiosity. Alright, clearly I didn’t get away from everyone.

“Oh, uh, sorry! I didn’t see you there!” I stammered, feeling my face heat up.

Minho stood there, arms crossed over his chest, an eyebrow raised. “You know only runners are allowed in here,” he said, his voice firm yet not unkind.

“I’m sorry! I’ll leave right away! I didn’t mean to intrude—” I began to gush, stepping toward the door. But before I could reach the handle, Minho moved, his long stride bringing him directly in front of me.

He towered over me, one hand pressing against the door, keeping it shut.

I looked up at him, my confusion and nerves likely written all over my face. Why wasn’t he letting me leave? What did he want?

Minho’s silence was heavy, his dark eyes locked onto mine, and I felt a strange, electric tension crackling between us. Those eyes were not predatory unlike some of the other gladers.

My pulse quickened for reasons that had nothing to do with fear. The sound of the boys searching for me grew louder, their footsteps echoing just outside.

“She couldn’t have gone far!” one of them shouted.

Minho’s gaze never wavered from mine as he spoke, “If you’d like, I can accompany you for the rest of the evening.” It was as though he knew I was trying to hide from them and seek refuge.

“You’re not going to make me drink Gally’s drink, are you?” I blurted out, my voice shaky.

Minho chuckled, a low, rich sound that sent a shiver down my spine. “Guess we’ll see,” he said, his tone teasing.

He extended his hand to me, his expression softening just a touch. I hesitated for a moment before placing my hand in his. His grip was firm, and reassuring. The simple contact sent a thrill through me, and I couldn’t help but wonder if he felt it too.

For a moment, we stood there, our hands clasped, the air between us charged with an unspoken connection. His presence was both intimidating and oddly comforting, a contradiction that made my head spin. I couldn’t help but glance at his lips, then back to his warm brown eyes.

Minho finally broke the silence, “Let’s get out of here before they come back,” he said, his voice gentle.

He led me out of the hut, and as we walked together, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this was the start of something significant. The glade suddenly seemed less daunting with him by my side, and I found myself hoping that maybe, just maybe, this new world held more than just danger and fear.

mike hates it when other guys flirt with you. why is that guy flirting with my girlfriend? he scoffs. he doesn't wanna seem like an ass, so he doesn't say anything to you about it 'cause maybe the guy is just trying to be friendly and he's overthinking it. but no way! my girlfriend's way too pretty and funny for him to be talking to her in a friendly way. he totally likes her. he thinks again.

the frown on his face could reach the ground, and his shoulders drop– his posture is horrendous as he watches and (barely) listens to the conversation you two have.

when you notice his expression change, you ask him what's wrong, but he brushes it off which leaves you confused most of the time.

then the second you arrive at home, mike is smothering you with affection. when you're laying down, watching tv, he's laying on you with his arms wrapped around your waist. he'll occasionally mutter a few words, and press a few kisses on your skin. "are you alright mike?" you asked him, running your hands through his hair.

"peachy." he replied. he dug his head into the crook of your neck, breathing in your scent.

"you sure? you looked upset earlier when i was talking to that guy?"

he sighed, "that was earlier. i'm in right now."

"what does that even mean?"

"it means that that was earlier, right now i'm content since i'm in your arms." he mumbled. "that guy – he totally had a fat crush on you. i bet he did." he said lazily. you could tell that he was probably falling asleep by the way he was speaking.

"and why do you think that?"

"he laughed at every little thing you said or did. not in a way where he was making fun of you but in a way where he has a crush on you."

"sure mike," you laughed. "all he did was ask for directions. he was only laughing because he went the total opposite way." you sighed. "and even so, you're the only one i have eyes for mike. i have the fattest crush on you."

this all started when i was 15 years old. I was reading the naruto manga and was catching up on chapters that i had missed. I was reading about Itachi’s lore and how he and shisui were close , and looking into Shisui’s story and how his ideals and motivations had left an imprint in the universe of Naruto and shifted the ties of the war, I was so astounded by how much of an impact he had while not even being alive.

Looks aside because he’s just sooooo beautiful and soooo cute .. 🥰 he truly is a great character overall; he’s kind, thoughtful, outgoing , and is wholehearted. We see this with his interactions with Itachi and Sasuke , inclusion with other characters. He genuinely is such an amazing character and his personality is honestly what drew me to him as well, he’s so loyal to Itachi and his own goals that made me think, “Well, he would be like that with me!!”

I also met his voice actor back in august ( got his autograph, he was literally sooo nice i almost crumbled when he remembered me because i came back to see him again! 💕 i had butterflies!!) that just hyped up my love for him even more to the highest degree—to the moon and stars—ever since then i’ve been floating on cloud nine with my love for Shisui. I always loved him, always will. nothing will ever weaver my heart! 💕🍓😌

I also made an OC for Shisui ONLY—no other character just him—and her name is Rei and her existence is only for Shisui. I used to be heavily involved with RPG and I would be Rei , i remember i met this Shisui roleplayer and ever since then i’ve only shipped her with him. Finished the Knuckles Show and uhhhhhhhhhh it’s certainly a show.

There’s good stuff buried in every episode especially where Knuckles is concerned. They set up a very interesting arc for him and just didn’t really explore much with it. After the first episode Knuckles is shoved to the side CONSTANTLY and is made the B plot more often than he should be as the TITULAR character.

Every criticism that said Wade takes over the show is correct.

After episode 1, Wade takes over every A plot and Knuckles is only ever in the B plot that has either minimal time focused on him or he’s just straight up not around (episode 4 is the worst offender here but it’s an issue from eps2-6). They actively write Knuckles out of the plot constantly and it’s very frustrating.

If you like Wade and enjoy his personal journey about his family then this’ll be fine. I, for one, thought it was interesting on its own but 100% it has no reason to be here in a SONIC MOVIE KNUCKLES spin off show. This is not Knuckles’ show. It’s Wade’s and that’s the biggest let down.

Knuckles IS there but that’s it, he’s just THERE.

And it sucks because Movie!Knuckles himself is very well crafted and very entertaining and engaging to watch. The show is at its strongest when it’s about Knuckles and spending time with him. Episode 1 is the only episode that it feels like what it was advertised as - the Knuckles show.

Sonic, Tails, and Maddie only show up for the first episode and never come back. Which is wild because part of the plot is Maddie has grounded Knuckles and he sneaks out but there’s never any consequences shown once he gets home nor do we see how anyone reacted once they noticed Knuckles is gone. These three are just abandoned after episode 1.

Tails has like 6 or 7 lines, my boy deserves sm better LMAOO

A big highlight, however, I LOVED Sonic in this one episode. The way you can see and FEEL how he’s grown from movie to movie and in this first episode is very well done. He’s truly becoming the Sonic I know and when he and Knuckles had their conversation on the roof where he tries to help Knuckles see the beauty in Green Hills, his home - that entire scene was PURE Sonic’s golden heart on display. He does still have his jokes that remind you Ben Schwartz is his actor and that he’s a silly kid but he IS still Sonic at his core and I loved that. It made me very sad we didn’t get to see more of him but I appreciated seeing Sonic handled this way. It makes me very eager to see how movie 3 goes about him considering everything Shadow brings to the table and how different of a threat he’s gonna be for Sonic.

Episode 2 is alright but GOOD LORD episodes 3-5 are such a waste of time. There’s good sprinkled in them in isolation but as full blown episodes, a waste. You can skip most of what’s happened and be fine.

The big climax fight in the finale just HAPPENS. The plot armor literally comes bursting through the wall and yanks Knuckles out of the plot for way too long and we only get TRUE and INCREDIBLE Movie Knuckles action (his fire fists which were insane btw) in the last 5 minutes and it only lasted like 2 of those 5 minutes.

Overall, it’s not entirely unwatchable but it’s not worth a majority of people’s time. You don’t need this for movie 3 so if you wanna skip it - I’d recommend that. If you really watch though, I’d only say watch the first episode and the finale and just google the context for what’s in between bc eps 2-5 are total slogs after a while.

If you like silly dumb fun - this is the show for you. But it’s not the show many Sonic fans may have wanted or expected.

I’m not angry or anything like many people have been. It’s not worth getting angry over. I’m moreso just disappointed because I can see a good show about Knuckles hidden in there. They just opted to give more time into Wade for whatever reason.

Just an overall let down imo.

generally, usual poetry rules apply, which is to say as far as i'm concerned there are none bar what you personally like to use/what u find helpful/writing with the style you're using in mind/etc !!!!

at first i wrote it linearly, i was used to that approach with prose anyway + i found it easier to keep the endings consistent that way, but as i went on it was helpful to go back and put in elaborations or other extra lines that would make sense in certain parts <33 just having the main bit fleshed out beforehand was nice though

conjunction words and articles are a GODSENDDDD yay!!!! and the this but My Favs Forever Fr

i had a couple ways of actually Organizing the lines themselves and i kind of mashed both together in an amalgamation LMAO.

first i just used a few lines as normal! because i have a Lot of random snippets in my never ending cache of random thoughts i wanna write about some day😭so i'd take a line like "warble your pretty need to be rid of this death wish" which is on its own longer than i'd use in other poetry formats and kind of clunky to say all at once, and split it where i thought it made sense (@ pretty/need) and then just brought death wish under the left line. to be honest i did that a lot, just rearranging on a whim (fun as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i wrote with the gap between them and titles there the whole time, it doesn't have to be formatted neatly while you're still writing it, but it helps to visualize i think<3333

then at that point i'd improvise💛yk, take a look at both ends and think of a logical continuation for them. i thought "while you're still alive to do it" worked so i ended the line there, stuff like that. laying it out now it sounds pretty orderly but it took a lot of tweaking in terms of phrasing

just now remembering i changed this whole thing into the first person around draft 291032189859. if i say you then just assume i mean i/me etc 💛💛💛OKKK dhjsbvhjdjhfdsj. onward<3

honestly, for the most part i repeated that process--- take a line, chop it up and fill in the blanks until it ends, then go back and add on lines u think work and adjust phrasing here and there!!

there's lots of points where u reach an opportunity to go in a different direction with a statement; absolutely lean into this!!!!!!!!!! i used this for after "the truth i know already:" and a couple other places, it's something you don't usually get a chance to experiment with most forms of verse and is SO cool <3333333

and LMAO yeah 🙂‍↕️ satoru’s def one of my favs to write personality wise. hmmm some tips, one tip i would say is to describe like everything. when writing it’s important that you’re focusing on multiple things at once, especially if you’re writing smut. so you’d want to make sure you’re focusing on (dialogue, breathing patterns, facial expressions, how they sound, pacing an orgasm, etc.) i also like to describe tiny details like bed creaks, twisting of the eyebrows, and toes curling. for dialogue !!!! i love dialogue. a big tip i can give for dialogue is to read it out loud 🗿🗿. like i know it can be kinda cringy but it works, plus it helps because you can see whether it sounds more natural in terms of delivery. when i’m writing dialogue, i like to make characters stutter a bit, especially whenever they’re coming close toward their climax

ALSOOOOO use a thesaurus!!! in writing, thesauruses are your best friend and it’s a really good tool for when you find yourself repeating words or phrases. in my writing, personally i like to write like references, similes, metaphors. 🙂‍↕️ i had a mean girls reference in one of my fics heh. but the important thing is to have fun !!! it’s your writing at the end of the day 💓🧚🏽‍♀️
