Note: I will try my best to do a live commentary/first reaction kind of thing so this post will be updated as the day goes by. I really hope they have fixed the streaming problems they had last time with the Spring Shark Festival. It worked fine once they got it working but it took quite a while to get there. They don’t have that luxury today since there is an on-site audience, it’s pretty much impossible to delay the performance should any streaming issues arise. On a side note, I am keeping my expectations low as far as the audio-quality is concerned but we will see, maybe it’s good. Without further ado, let’s get to it!

Live Commentary

Okay, it’s about to start, there are some weird noises in my headphones but it’s manageable. Otherwise, it works totally fine! I think they fixed the weird noise issue for the evening performance. Haven’t heard it yet. Video/stream-quality is perfect for me (no freeze so far), they have a few different angles which I appreciate. A bit of shaky-cam here and there but nothing too bad. I feel like they improved quite a bit on the camera work for the evening performance. Sound is also surprisingly good.

Setlist

Happy Hello Day: The atmosphere is already so nice, everyone is clapping enthusiastically. I love it! The arrangement with piano and guitar is perfect for this song. Poor Wakana forgot the lyrics though so they had to start again. Awww, so precious, I wanna cuddle her already! Loved the “lalala” at the end! No mistakes for her night performance. Everything went smoothly. I feel like the atmosphere is a bit more toned down compared to the day performance.

瑠璃色の空 / Ruriiro no Sora (DAY): Okay, I have never really liked this song but this acoustic version is actually pretty nice. I may have actually become a fan! :P Thank you Wakana, for this beautiful rendition. Hard Rain (NIGHT): YESSSSS! So much win! While I didn’t mind this version of Ruriiro no Sora, I MUCH prefer Hard Rain.

ひらりひらり / Hirari Hirari: Not my favourite of the “magic moment” album but I really enjoy listening to the live version like this.

442: OMG, I am already blown away! This IS SO GOOD!!!! The live version (especially with this acoustic arrangement) is a REVELATION, everyone needs to listen to it! I am so glad we are also getting this on the Blu-ray this summer!

Talk Corner: Awww, once again Wakana embarrasses herself by introducing her host Bunta Nagamatsu with the wrong name. Seeing her this flustered is super cute but on the other hand, I feel sorry for her T_T They are answering some of the simple/casual questions that fan club members were able to submit in advance. It was interesting to find out that she stretches for quite a long of them a few hours before a live and that she carries pretty much all of her belongings in her bag on a performance day XD Will be summarising them properly once we get the archived version. They are using different questions for the evening performance! YAY! At the end they are demonstrating their kendama skills but Wakana fails to catch the ball the first two times but then on the third try, SUCCESS! She is so happy! At the evening performance she looked like she pulled a muscle doing the trick but yay, she managed to catch the ball on her first try

海を見ていた午後 / Umi wo miteita gogo: Yuming-cover chosen for Takebe-san due to a connection. They picked this song because it features places in Yokohama (today’s live is taking place in Yokohama). Too short but very nice. Not a particularly big fan of the voice she uses for the song though.

アイノカタチ / Ai no Katachi: Misia-cover chosen for Ishinari-san due to a connection. His guitar playing is actually featured in the original recording of the song. Wakana also sang this in one of her fan club videos (where she did her nails). Wahhhh, I am in love!! Such a beautiful cover! This hit me right in the feels, even more so the second time around! *bursts into tears*

I have a dream: Kalafina-cover chosen for Wakana due to a connection. *sobs* Ahhhhhh, this is beautiful. I have no words. Not all Kalafina songs work as a solo song but this one certainly does. Wakana nailed it!! That Kajiura-go part!! Btw, random question for everyone who has been watching the stream, where is that drum/percussion-like sound coming from? It’s noticable in almost all songs but it’s obviously not coming from the piano or guitar. Just curious since I am not an expert on that kind of stuff so I wouldn’t know what tools they have to create this sort of sound without an actual drum set or whatever. Thanks to @sa-nyan for replying, it is INDEED Ishinari using some sort of pedal.

翼 / Tsubasa: Oh wow, already digging the acoustic arrangement. Can I just say how much I appreciate it that Wakana has two super talented and passionate musicians on her side. She deserves to be accompanied by the best. This is one of Wakana’s oldest solo songs so you can tell she is very sure of herself, no hesitation whatsoever, just powerful vocals. Perfection!

恋はいつも / Koi wa Itsumo: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! You all know this is one of my faves so I couldn’t be happier!! Wakana showing the audience how to clap :P SO CUTE! I can’t clap in rhythm for the life of me so I am kinda glad I am not there to embarrass myself :P Too bad the audience was able to sing along this time (probably because of COVID regulations). A little lyric slip-up at the beginnging but Wakana dealt with it professionally.

ENCORE: 金木犀 / Kinmokusei: Ohhhhhhh! And another one of my all-time faves!! Such a good setlist!! As always, beautiful!

ENCORE: あとひとつ / Ato hitotsu: Wakana explains the reason why this hasn’t been released on CD yet. She wants it to be a special experience that is reserved for live performances. She feels this exclusivity is nice. The PERFECT ending just like every other time she sings it.

DAY: Wakana is wearing a lovely salmon/orange/pink (?) coloured toga/tunic-sort of dress. She looks so pretty! It’s off-shoulder (always the best look for her!) and there is a white skirt layered underneath. There is also some binding around her waist. her hair is in an elaborate up-do. NIGHT: She changed into a lovely wide blue gown which goes well with the evening flair. Her hair is in a cute high ponytail. She is wearing her clear chain earrings again.

During the first MC of the day performance Wakana is already getting carried away talking about this and that so Takebe-san has to remind her they are on a tight schedule. XD At the end of the live Wakana announced an online release event for her Blu-ray. It’s gonna take place on August 21. The after-talk is now available. They filmed it after the evening performances answering a few more fan questions.

Beastmen (aka the Savannaclaw students) have a very keen sense of smell and despite reader's efforts, they find out shes in fact a female. Now leaving a sole female in a place filled with aggressive, horny dudes is never a good idea. This is where the angst/tragedy kicks in (continue in second ask)

Such an unfortunate thing to happen to someone so loved...

It hurts.

Everything hurts.

Your vision was getting clouded over, dark spots slowly appearing one by one as unfamiliar hands travelled everywhere in your bare body. Who they belong to, you didn’t know and you didn’t care, you wanted nothing more right now but to throw them off you. Tears cascaded down your cheeks, struggling as someone’s grip on your throat tightened, forcing broken sobs to escape you. You tried to claw your freedom out, you tried moving your legs but each of your limbs were being held against your will. Even with the ringing that was slowly pulsating through your ears, you could still hear their awful snarls and comments, cruel laughter echoed throughout the bathroom walls.

“Hey, dude! Aren’t you being too rough? Little girly’s turning a bit blue, don’t you think?”

“Nah, she’ll be fine! God, she just feels so good, I can’t help but to lose myself!”

Bruises had begun forming on your body, anywhere your skin could expose itself to. Your usually healthy skin tone was now dirtied by these disgusting purplish marks and wounds, some still had been bleeding for a concerning amount of time now. You gasped desperately as the lack of air was seriously becoming a big problem for you, but they wouldn’t know that. No matter how much you struggle, they didn’t care, they didn’t even notice how much you wanted to voice out your complaints, but just have no way to do so. Instead, their voices got louder, more excited as the pain in your bottom region increased.

You knew there were risks of attending an all-boys magical school as a cross-dressing girl. You knew that it wasn’t going to be easy, but where else can you go? It’s not like you wanted to be in Twisted Wonderland in the first place, you needed somewhere to stay. Besides, seeing your monster companion, Grimm getting so worked up after finally getting accepted, even as a half-student brought you unimaginable amount of joy. Until you could find a way to get back to your world, you’ll just stick around for as long as you can because you personally thought it was fun.

...Or at least, it was supposed to be fun even with all the risks.

But ending up at the mercy of a bunch of rowdy, good-for-nothing teenagers, coming from different dorms was definitely not a risk that you regretfully did not include to that list. They must be bored, to have taken the time to thoroughly confront you about exposing your true gender like this and using that secret against yours even though you were sure that you have been so careful all this time. The headmaster and Grimm were the only ones that know, probably the Dark Mirror as well, but you were careful enough that even Ace and Deuce who you spend so much time with have never even showed a single gaze of suspicion. You’ve met so much nice and kind individuals in this academy, even if some weren’t so obvious about it at first, that you forgot about the other side of the spectrum. This, you forgot about this, the dark side to every good side.

Night Raven College’s reputation would suffer if the word got out about it accepting a female without a single shred of magic within herself. Two automatically disqualified qualities from a prestigious school, that’s what Headmaster Crowley told you. You didn’t want to contribute to that, but you didn’t want to agree with what the men wanted from you. You may not be the most refined lady out there, but you have dignity like everyone else. Wanting to play with your body in exchange of your secret not getting out was definitely not a fair deal.

But it didn’t matter, it seemed.

Because before you knew it, they were all over you, dragging you one night in a bathroom unused when the moon is out. You were powerless, not just in terms of strength but in terms of magical proficiency, these were students who can pin you down with a single bat of their magical pens, you stood no chance. You screamed, you struggled, you cried, but it was all for naught, they got you where they wanted you. They took turns, filling you up in all your holes with no mercy, their hands fiddling with your flesh way too rough, biting you until you bleed, and even have the audacity to contaminate you with their disgusting seed. There was no love, no care, just brutality and vile, selfish thoughts they wanted to satisfy.

You just wanted them to get over with it already, to just leave you alone. It sickens you to wonder how these men could even walk again tomorrow, acting like nothing happened, acting like they hadn’t just ruined your life. You hated this, you wanted to go back to your dorm, to talk bedtime stories with Grimm. You wanted to walk to school again tomorrow with your fellow first years with a smile on your faces. You wanted to know more about your seniors and listen to their stories way back when they were still in their younger years.

You still wanted to do so much, much more in this unfamiliar world! But...

“Hey...Hey! Wait...! Stop! Fuck! She’s not breathing!”

...It seems like you were never going to live through those moments again.

Your lungs had given up on you, unable to pump any more oxygen to keep your heart pumping. You vision fades as the rest of your body shuts down, you stopped struggling and your limbs fall lifelessly. The hands on your throat loosened but it was far too late, the bone keeping your neck intact had been fractured from the sheer pressure. The panicked state of the perpetrators reflected themselves in your now hollow eyes, as they began to scramble, realizing what just happened. Funny, the rest of your body functions had given up, yet your hearing seemed to be the longest to stay up, at least enough to hear their voices, laced in fear.

“Idiot! I told you, you were being too rough! You straight up killed her!”

“H-How am I supposed to know that!? Don’t blame me! You were the one holding her down!”

“Aah...! W-What are we supposed to do...!?”

You would’ve had a sadistic satisfaction from the way they are acting, the regret building up in their minds. It serves them right but what was the point? Anyone could tell they were being regretful because they’re the ones who’s going to be in trouble, not because they regretted their actions towards you. In the end, they just blamed each other and went their own ways, teleporting without even bothering to fix your current state. Your major injuries were still fresh and bleeding without stop, they didn’t even try to at least clean that up? How rude.

An unfortunate ending isn’t it? No one would’ve expected a plot twist as gruesome as this one. This girl knew she was going to leave this world someday, this whole world of Twisted Wonderland. She doesn’t belong here and she certainly have people waiting for her in her own world. She knew that, she was a lot more aware than anyone after all. It’s just that this lone woman did not expect that she would be leaving both worlds at the same, the universe all throughout.

Ah...You just wished that this universe had given you more time, just enough to at least say goodbye to everyone first.

Summary: A year has passed since the 3rd years graduated and went their separate ways. Kanan has doubts about their friendship.

A/N: First of all happy birthday Kanan! Secondly, I'm sorry this is so poorly phrased it's been a while since I last wrote anything or read anything. Also, this was extremely rushed so hopefully it makes some sense... so yeah enjoy. This was posted on AO3 6 days ago so exactly in time for Kanan’s birthday only I forgot to post it here ahaha :)

“Kanan, could you please take my shift tomorrow? I have finals on Monday so I really wanted to do some studying…” said the amethyst colored eyed girl co-worker with an apologizing voice.

“Sure, I got’cha!”

Sure Kanan’s birthday was tomorrow but ever since she graduated from high school and left to get her diving license in Australia, she didn’t get to talk with the rest of Aqours as much as she would have like. Additionally, no one knew it was her birthday so she hadn't any plans.

With that in mind, both girls finished cleaning the shop and waved their goodbyes.

The diver’s apartment wasn’t particularly big, well it was small, but big enough to fit one person. Especially when that person only went there to change clothes and get some sleep. It had a single bedroom with a connected bathroom, the only separation between the kitchen and the living room/dining room was an island.

Kanan put her keys on said island and took a shower. She put on a black tank top and a pair of shorts. She took an apple from her kitchen and laid down on her bed, and took her phone. It wasn’t unusual for her to look at the photo album she named “Aqours”, she had some photos of their lives, practices, sleepovers, that time they went to Tokyo, Hakodate, even some with Saint Snow. Kanan smiled slightly. She missed her friends, last time they were all together was when the then 3rd years graduated. The navy blue haired girl closed her eyes. When Mari, Dia, and herself first left Uchiura they would all 9 of them try to video call as much as possible, but of course life moves on and soon what had been 2 or 3 calls per week soon became 1 once a week and now with the second years graduating soon a call once every 2-3 weeks. They still sent a bunch of messages but being 2 hours ahead of Tokyo’s time either there was no one to talk with, or she had to start work soon. As for the 3rd years group chat, with all of them in different time zones, it was hard to keep a full conversation. Even though they met only about a month ago in Tokyo to celebrate Dia’s birthday Kanan felt as if it had been years since they talked, years since she hugged them. A single tear came out of amethyst eyes and the diver quickly cleaned it. Don’t. In only a few hours is your birthday and the girls probably want to video call you. You can’t let them see you like this, specially Dia or Mari. Don’t cry; for them. As soon as those thoughts were out of her mind she stared at the ceiling.  Maybe they’ll come visit, Mari and I went to Tokyo for Dia’s birthday maybe they’ll come too. Just maybe… And soon she was asleep.

“....Shall we dance?, Yume no you ni odorimashou, Hitoyo no wasurerarenai shinderera, Kutsu wo nuide okeba nakusanai yo karuku hayaku, Dare o yobou ka? Moriagaru ne!...” G Senjou no Cinderella came through her phone’s speakers, time to wake up and get ready for work. Kanan rubbed her eyes and sat at the edge of the mattress. “...Shall we dance?, Kurukuru to mawarimashou…” the music kept going, not because Kanan didn’t know how to turn her alarm off but because she liked it. It was only Mari, Dia, and herself singing the song, the first song they sang only the three of them after forming Aqours. Once the song reached its end Kanan took her phone and saw quite a few messages on her phone screen, some were from the Aqours’ group chat.

Little Mikan: HAPPY B-DAY KANAN-CHAN! I’ve reserved some mikans only for you!

Yohane (Yoshiko made her change her name before she left): Little demon, you’ve attained full maturity now, use this power wisely.

A sob escaped Kanan’s lips as she tipped a big “Thanks everyone, I can’t wait to go back!”, she wanted to thank each one of them individually but she wanted to call Dia and Mari. And so she did. Even though it was weekend Dia would wake up at 6:30  as usual and Mari would go to sleep around 11, so they should both be awake at that time. Mari was the first one to answer.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY KANAN!” the blonde girl shouted at the top of her lungs. Kanan didn’t even have time to answer as Dia joined the call, “Kanan-san happy birthday” although Dia tried to say it as calm as possible she was smiling and the last syllables had a cheerful tone.

“Thanks!” And Kanan smiled wide open.

“So what can we do for our birthday girl on this marvelous day?”

Kanan’s face started to heat up, how could she ask them if they were planning to visit her today? Maybe they were too busy and couldn’t, she didn’t want to make her two best friends feel guilty. No no no. They were coming and if not they’d eventually see each other, there’s nothing to worry about right?

“W-well, I...umm…”

“Come on Kanan you can tell us anything.” Encouraged her tallest friend.

“Kanan-s...Kanan is something wrong?” Asked the brunette.

“No it’s nothing, ahaha...I just wanted to talk with you but I need to get going or I’ll be late for work and you wouldn’t want me to be late right Dia? Ahaha so umm yeah talk with you later alright? Okay bye!”

“Wait Kana-”

Too late Kanan had already pressed the end call button. What are you doing? You’re acting as if you were 15 again, haven’t you learned anything? She asked herself. I guess I haven’t. Not wanting to think about it anymore Kanan finished getting ready and went to work.

Kanan had never been an observer, or attentive, especially for small details. That’s why she never realized that both Dia and Mari were wearing earphones, or that Mari wasn’t wearing a pajama and Dia wasn’t wearing her kimono. Or the fact that both seemed to be inside and not outside.

Sunday February 10th, a rather slow day at the shop. Well since it was Sunday the shift wasn’t that long so around 3:30 the navy blue haired girl start doing the pre-close up. She started taking the oxygen tanks inside, moved to make the inventory and by 3:55 she was almost done. She went back to the counter and start writing everything on the computer. The entrance bell rang.

“Welcome, we’ll be closing in 5 minutes if you want to take a diving les-”

“Well I don’t know, what you say Dia should we take a lesson?”

“Hmm with how thigh our schedule is I don’t think we’ll have time, but maybe we can work something out.”

Mari. Dia. Mari and Dia. Both of them. In front of her. Okay that was it Kanan had gone completely insane.

“Well don’t stand there give us a hug”, Mari demanded as both herself and Dia opened her arms waiting to be completed. Kanan didn’t think about it she ran straight to her friends and gave them the hug she had so long waited for. Tears making their way through her face.

“B-b-but how?”

“It’s your birthday you dummy.”

“We wouldn’t have missed it for anything.” Said Dia. “Mari traveled from Italy to Tokyo 3 days ago, we took a plane last night-”

“But you sent the messages at 12 am, h-how come?”

“Aqours of course!” Replied Mari. Kanan, who had calmed a bit took a step back to look at these beautiful girls who for a reason she still didn’t fully understand were her friends. Dia and Mari took each other’s hands and then Kanan’s.

“Well”, continued Mari, “we asked them to help us cover up our plan so everything was staged.”

“To say it in a way.” Added Dia.

“So Kanan,” they said in unison. “Happy birthday!”

Kanan was still processing everything that was going on but she could do that tomorrow, right now she only cared of being with Dia and Mari, she hugged them again and kept crying.

“Now now, we don’t want to make the birthday girl happy, shall we Mari-san?”

“Of course!”

And Kanan got a kiss on each cheek from her two friends. Before she could react both brunette and blonde haired girls were dragging her out of the store.

A/N: this is not that relevant to the story and the rating could go (depends on how you look at it) up to teens.

They arrived at Kanan’s apartment and as soon as Kanan unlocked the door Mari was entering and laying on the couch.

“Please have some manners,” said Dia with a small sigh and Kanan couldn’t help but laugh at both of them. 100 years could go by and the three of them would still act the same way they did when they were kids.

Kanan took their suitcases to her room and left them there. She couldn’t make it outside the bedroom since Mari had jumped over her and pushed them both to the bed.

“Wha-Mari? G-get off.”

“No” Although both of them tried to sound serious they couldn’t keep the facade and gave up to laughter.

“D-Dia,” started Kanan in between laughers “come quick! Mari won’t get off me!”

The girl with emerald eyes entered the room but instead of helping Kanan she threw herself onto the bed and was on top of Mari and Kanan.

“O-okay I-I give up!” finally stated Kanan and Dia got off of her. Mari on the other hand just stared at Kanan’s face. She took her chin and lightly kissed her. “Happy birthday Kanan.” Whispered Mari and got off of her. Dia not wanting to be left behind approached Kanan from the side and press slightly her lips to Kanan’s. “Yeah happy birthday Kanan.”

Mari and Dia looked at each other and then at the girl under them. They still had some days before going back to Italy and Japan and they didn’t want to waste any of them.

Saitama Day 1

ACTUAL DAY IS HERE!!! I was getting so excited since it was my first time being at an overseas live concert. Throughout the live I was really happy being surrounded by love live fans. For day 1, I was in the arena seats at the right corner of the center stage.  For day 2, I was in the B stands

To be honest, it was really a blur for both days. This is the set list for day 1  (courtesy of LL_wikia):

Right before the start of the live they played the on-vocal of Landing Action,Yeah!, which signaled the start of the live. They showed the animated PV of the Happy Party Train arriving in the arena, and an actual life-size train comes out and they hop off.

It was really emotional for me at this time, not only because it was the first live concert for me, but the PV of them speeding into the venue marks them going from 0 > 1, and going forward into 2L tour. When the music for Happy Party Train started right after the fireworks everyone was so hyped for the live. The main theme song of the live was really good as expected.

Moving on was Todokanai Hoshi da to Shitemo, it was a really hyped song. Although it was performed previously at 1L, there were many subtle differences in the performance. One very notable was the dab that Gu~RinPa! did during the start of verse 2 >< they talked about it during their radio show and I paid very close attention to it. ARISHA ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING DORKLY LIKE THIS WAS REALLY REFRESHING!!!

During the MC and intro + call and response, I was really reallyyy surprise at the amount of people around me screaming and shouting ARISAAAAA. It was really reassuring to know and hear others who support her like you do (unlike how it was at 1L where there were only Aikyan and Shuka supporters ): )

Next was Shoujou Ijou. As expected the song was really like a love song. Most notable parts was the heart drawn by Anchan during the bridge AND ARISHA ENDING IT OFF WITH THAT MATURE HEAD TILT BACKWARDS AHHHHH.

What came next was the Summer songs! Most of us already expected it to happen. But the dances and costume were really amazing. Here are the notable parts: Hurricane Blossom: OMGOSH KINCHAN DOING THE INDIAN KINDA DANCE WAS SO CUTE. That part during chorus where they looked like they were swimming. AINYA’S RAP. THEY ARE HOLDING THE SAME KINGBLADE THAT I HAVE. EVERYONE GETTING WET FROM THE WATER GUNS ><. Overall its such a really nice song to start off with! On a side note, Rikyako almost got hit by the balls in the arena and she gave out a small scream hehe

Inferno Phoenix: YOU CAN’T IMAGINE WHAT I WAS FEELING WHEN THEY CAME UP, HURRICANE BLOSSOM ENDED BEHIND US, AND INFERNO PHOENIX STARTED ON THE CENTRE STAGE. I TURNED AROUND AND WAS LIKE WTF THOSE COSTUME OMG OMG OMG. I EVEN FORGOT TO POP ANY UOs FOR THIS COZ IT WAS SO GOOD. THE RED THE BELLY THE KUROSAWA SHIMAI BUMPING HEADS THE INDIAN COSTUME THE DANCE EVERYTHING WAS SO PERFECTTTTT

Unicorn Blizzard: JIMO AI! JIMO AI! JIMO AI! JIMO AI! JIMO AI!

Twilight Tiger: Oh no the EDM song. Despite my previous thoughts on this, the live performance was really good. The way Anchan started on the main stage and Suwawa started on center stage, really brings out the meaning of the song. They ran towards each other during the bridge but never reunited, until the end of the song. The way they shuffled during the EDM part of the song was really nice. Suwawa actually having an ikemen/serious/angst face was refreshing.

MC: hahaha Rikyako be savage as usual and teasing Kinchan by saying that her costume looks like a Tamago Sushi, and the pout by Kinchan LOL. And then Kinchan getting back at Rikayko by saying that she looked like codfish condiment LOL and saying that Aiai secretly said it when they saw her costume (and that really cute moment when Shuka comforted her) AND THEM TEASING AINYA EVEN THOUGH SHE WASNT INVOLVED!!!

Mijuku Dreamer and Koi Aqua with Koi costumes were really good x.x nothing much to say about this since it came out during 1L.

MC: hehe Arisha got cucked and danced alone coz Rikyako bluffed her into doing that

DAYDREAM WARRIOR and THRILLING ONE WAY: THIS WAS SO GOOD, everyone was so cool during these two songs, the ikemen and cool faces, Arisha’s solo face on the cameraaaaa, That EDM breakdance thingy in Daydream warrior and THRILLING ONE was sooooo hyped that I broke so many UOs for them. I have no other words for these two.

Intermission: SWEET POTATO GHOSTTTTTTT

Subunit songs: No comments for day 1... 

Aozora jumping heart & Kimi Kokoro: I FINALLY HAD THE CHANCE TO LISTEN AND DO CALLS TO THIS IN PERSON OMGOSH. Those songs are the mark of Aqours and it was an honor to be in person.

Sky Journey: This is so good, it was really mature and the dance was so good, not to mention that Arisha’s solo was really strong in this song.

PikaPIkka: Dancing along to this song was really fun and niceeee, not to mention Anchan’s taiyo drumming and Ainya’s folk singing and Uchicchi ><

ALLSTARS VIDEO: WHAT THE LIVING HELL?! Everyone was alright with Honoka and Chika talking in the video, and everyone thought that after Riko, the rest of Aqours was going to continue. BUT EVERYONE WENT NUTS WHEN RIKO PASSED IT ON TO ELI. Almost everyone i knew who went to the Live actually was tearing and crying during this video. The most unexpected curve ball they threw at us TT

Ending Speech: TT SOBS. Rikyako was so emotional during her ending, She said that she wanted to work hard, that everyone also has many things in their life like school and work. Knowing that fans who has school and work, that they work their hardest because they know that Aqour’s Live concert is in a few days, and working really hard so they can enjoy the live properly. This was what made her want to work hard and it really made her happy (and made all of us sad)

Taiyo o oikakero: TOKO TOKO, TOKI TOKI. Even though everyone said that they will break tons of UOs for this, I really enjoyed this song regardless without any UOs.

Yume Kata: T~T cry cry cry. Last song of the live for day 1 and i was really sad~ Nonetheless this was a really good song to end it off since everyone was singing along so much.

Saitama Day 2

For Day 2, I’m going to touch on the differences.

Summer songs MCs: Trios introducing themselves as their costume nicknames this time, inferno phoenix head dump was closer than first day and Aiai saying it was within kissing distance, Aiai, getting all embarrassed over showing her belly. Arisha going OLE this time! 

JIMO AI, Shuka being so cool and calm when a bug landed on her dress and Aikyan screaming and running away (and that off camera shot where Aiai was cowering in Arisha’s arms)

Subunit songs: YES YES YES YES A SIDES OMGOSH. The dancing with the flags was so cool and i really love the A side CYaRon song! C Y R! CYR LOVE! 

GALAXY HIDE AND SEEK. GALAXY HIDE AND SEEK WTF WTF WTF ARISHA’S 45 SECOND SOLO IN THE CENTER STAGE T~T IM SO BLESSED. THAT PART AT THE BRIDGE WHERE THEY HUG ARISHA AND KINCHAN LEADING ARISHA TO THE TROLLEY OMGOSH IT’S SO MEANINGFUL. (on a side note, i expected to break 20 UOs for this, but i was so mesmerised by Arisha so much that I only broke 2 and enjoyed myself to the fullest by staring at her)

Koware yasuki is so crazily good with all the solo long notes and it was, in my opinion, the song that was so much more hyped than day 1. I really liked how the display screen behind them started to shatter bit by bit as the song went on.

Land Action YEAH!: YES YES YES YES. As soon as the music start as it riles up for the start, everyone went crazy over this. This was such an expected and emotional song for everyone, and everyone was singing along to it at the end that it felt like everyone’s feelings were connected as one with the characters and seiyuu and it also marked the end of the live... 

and with that as soon as they left this was shown on the roof of the dome:

which roughly translates to “Thank you very much for taking the ride” T~T SOBS
