#but i dont think lou is in those eps

Is this a safe space to say that while i loved all the bucktommy scenes in 8x5 their chemistry felt a bit off to me. that little moment in 8x1 had more chemistry than anything in 8x05
i don't think their chemistry was off but i don't think the writing of the episode gave them much to play up their chemistry. we got domestic scenes but storywise it was a scene of buck being distracted and tommy being exhausted. every scene last season was them playing a romantic arc, this wasn't that. and like i said in that post (which motivated this ask i assume) i think tommy being involved in the silly and low-stakes episodes is a great thing. i think my only criticism can be that the loft scene could use some casual touches but that's the kind of stuff they don't really put in the script, it's something oliver and lou will find as they settle into playing established bucktommy vs bucktommy crushing on each other and sharing first kisses/dates
#you dont really see chemistry sizzling in every episode with the other couples either some storylines are better vehicles for that#i hope we get a bucktommy storyline tho#i always said 8x06 conflict was gonna be resolved in one ep but now i want it to be smth going till 8x08 lmao#but i dont think lou is in those eps#i have a longer take on emotionality/character beats in this season but it's premature at this stage#i'll wait till i see how this bucktommy storyline and eddie chris storyline goes#mimi talks#bucktommy#911#911 critical ig

Top 10 Game Changer Episodes
In lieu of the recent WatchMojo video, Top 10 Best Game Changer Episodes, I feel like making my own top 10 Game Changer eps in spite of them. (fyi I will be grouping any repeating episodes into one unit. Ex: Sam Says, Sam Says 2, and Sam Says 3 would all count for "Sam Says")
10. Bingo The reason this episode makes it into my person top 10 is because of how many times I was caught off guard. The plot twist AFTER the plot twist made this episode such a fun watch. Also I love seeing the cast torture Brennan by making him "defend" Elon Musk /lh
9. Deja vu Everybody do the Wenis! The Wenis is a dance. Everybody is a genius who knows it in advance! This episode has such a great cast and the reoccurring bits were so fun. I loved how they started bribing Brian to stay quiet, and I'm personally just a huge sucker for time loops (one of my favorite games is In Stars and Time)
8. Yes or No Do I even need to explain this one? Just go watch the clip if you dont know why this is here. Look up "Brennan Lee Mulligan monologue" and you'll understand why this episode is in the top 10. The only reason the episode isnt any higher is because the bulk of the episode is pretty forgettable.
7. Second Place Another Brennan monologue!!! Honestly, If Brennan stares into the camera and monologues for a solid minute or two, that episode is guaranteed to be in the top 10, but, what puts this episode above Yes or No is the episode itself. The cast is so full of life and passion, and Brennan's consistent philosophy throughout the whole episode makes it one of the greats.
6. Don't Cry I have been a Dropout member for 2-ish years now. When I first became a member, I binge-watched all of Game Changer. Or at least I thought I did. It wasn't until a few weeks ago that I saw someone mention Don't Cry and I had no idea what episode it was. So I went back, watched the episode, and was in tears by the end of it. Not only is the episode a beautiful gesture for an amazing writer and comedian, but every word spoken felt genuine, which made the entire episode so much more impactful.
5. A Game Most Changed Every single Dropout cast member is extremely talented, but not once have I seen an improve show as breathtaking and skillful as A Game Most Changed. The amount of skill and talent that is required to improvise an entire Shakespearean play while being thrown those curveballs- the insane coordination between the three actors, with each setting the others up for points. Despite playing for points, the cast frequently set up the others to succeed, favoring storytelling over winning. Absolutely beautiful.
4. Escape The Backroom Pure, unadulterated entertainment. Watching 3 grown adults go ape shit trying to solve puzzles and escape an escape room while unsubtly threatening their captor. Brennan, Lou, and Siobhan have such good chemistry as a team, leading to some of my all-time favorite Game Changer clips. The creation of an entire story for the escape room was inspired, and Sam's switch at the end was just the cherry on top.
3. Sam Says Whenever I have a friend over and I want to show them one Game Changer episode to represent EVERYTHING that Game Changer can be, I show them Sam Says. Each episode has an amazing cast that bounces off each other, and each episode continues to surprise and delight me. Personally, I think Sam Says 2 is the best, but all 3 are fun, high-energy, and insane. Perfect for comedy television.
2. Survivor The tension. The trust. The drama. The betrayal. And, most importantly, the funnies. These episodes have it all and more! In a game where relationships ARE the game, we, as the audience, get invested in each player. And as Brennan seemingly schemes and plots his way to victory, Lou manages to rival Brennan and best him in a game of trust and loyalty. Survivor truly shows what Game Changer can be, and as we see in later seasons, the show keeps evolving from there.
1. Make Some Noise Season 1, Episode 2. SEASON 1, EPISODE 2. Clipped so much that it got it's own show which is now clipped even more. The reason many people sign up for Dropout (and for good reason), this episode puts 3 of the most talented comedians in a space to just be funny. These episodes not only contain some of the best Game Changer moments, but they contain the best Dropout moments, the best impressions, and the best jokes I've ever heard. It's no wonder that these episodes got spun-off into its own show, which is now one of the primary advertisements for Dropout in the form of YT shorts. Brennan, Zac, and Josh are all so talented in drastically different ways, and by putting all three together, something magical happens. Make Some Noise is the gateway into all of the amazing content on Dropout. It is the best episode of Game Changer without a doubt. Season 1, Episode 2, Game Changer, Dropout.tv.

i am just. so fully zen on the topic of whether or not Tommy will be in the show past 706. Even if its only 1 or 2 more eps this season (considering there are only 10 & I dont think he'll be in 707), i'm just. So far from not worried about it. Could I be wrong? perhaps. I don't think I am tho because I too have read all the interviews, and literally nothing said in them worries me considering we also have everything Oliver & Tim have said about the BuckTommy relationship.
Maybe I'll have to eat my words, who knows, but why worry about it?
Edit: to add on, i think it's actually just generally more important to continue to show support for Lou as Tommy & BuckTommy. I do NOT think BuckTommy is breaking up, it's just a matter of whether or not Lou will get more scenes in this season. Which i think is possible. But only scenes in 1 or 2 eps, most likely ep 10 being one of those. So what's VERY important, like i said, is to show support for Tommy! That way Tim sees it and brings him back for season 8. s8 will be back to 18 - 22 episodes most likely (depends on how much ABC orders!) That is where we'd get more story. That is what people should be aiming for.
#911 abc#bucktommy#tommy kinard#evan buckley#i am so zen about this its insane#i am less worried about this than i was about the idea of bi buck#ppl also need to remember we only have 10 eps this season#that's really so few eps left#but s8 will very likely be back in the Fall i'm guessing#with most likely 18 - 22 eps#so yeah#not worried

so i've been thinking why the fuck this thing with buck and tommy shock me to the core? man, i've survived WORSE than a break up with other ships before. Whats worse than main characters death? or love confession causing one of them to be dragged into super hell? or when they jump to a cliff together (and thats it the show dont even bother to explain if they alive or not)? or the ship whereas they were assigned to kill each other?
and i come to a conclusion that it is my own expectation that kills me! it isnt even my fault tho, to have such a high expectation because the last few episodes, hell nah, even since their first meeting it feels like something sparks more between them that makes me wanna keep hoping and wishing there will be more! and sure as hell they give us more through chemistry, soft touches, backstory for tommy, him calling buck as evan, him hanging out with eddie, with 118.. what else should i do beside believing that this is it, buck will finally settle himself with someone who truly understand him and his found family.
but then 8x06 happened (which i dont think i can watch the entire ep) and im trying to find out where i was wrong? did i watch all those prev eps about them in a wrong way? and my current answer is NO, all those things that i saw in prev eps are still there. tonight ep is just something.. that need to happened outside those things? idk how to explain it but im starting to at least trying to get the purpose behind this story line for the sake of my sanity lmao
anyway, i'm done with my lil mental breakdown 🤣 i guess i'll still live in my own bubble of bucktommy's world through all those amazing fanfics out there in ao3 or here in tumblr dot com!
i'll try to continue watching 911 if i can because my baby bi buck obviosly still there and i honestly do like the other characters even though it will break me everytime i realize tommy won't be there anymore
and special thanks to ✨️Lou Ferrigno Jr✨️ for bring us the better version of tommy kinard, the first and probably the best boyfriend that evan buckley has ever have 🥰
#now im relying my life to fanfic writers out there#i wish they can keep writing amazing stories about buck tommy#when will we let canon stop us? never!#i'll rooting for y'all fanfic writers!#send all the love for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️#bucktommy#evan buckley#tommy kinard#911 abc#edited with adding my fav photos of team who cares!

LW&Co Series Commentary - Ep 8: "Not The Eternal"
Here's the rewatch commentary that no one asked for! Take a shot every time I say "erasure". Context: my 2nd time watching the show, but first time post reading the books
Part: one, two, three, four & five, six, seven, eight
The last part!! Hope these weren’t too completely out-of-context, but it’s just an excuse for you to rewatch the show ;)
They really used the hell out of the ghost lamps for cinematic shots huh? Also it's literally probably the same single prop for all of them, so where's its credits then?
They must be FREEZING, at night, dripping wet, Lucy's literally in a dress with no jacket
"This doesn't feel like winning" oof really giving those death-wish Lockwood TEG vibes
Also just want to point out here in the last installment Lockwood's funny rectangular tie
OH MY GOSH YEAH little Lockwood pre LW&Co and George but also post-Jess?? BOY NEEDS A HUG
Why is it always "I forgive you" and never "Grenadier Guard or Policeman?"
Joplin's glittery silver scarf looks a bit like a silver net - wonder if it offers any ghost protection?
Joplin: "I need you" - exactly what George just needs one of the others to say to him 😭
I love that it's implied that Kipps is really really good at tailing people without them noticing (I guess this is book canon too, Mr fence-painter extraordinaire)
The catafalque is sooooo creepy but also kind of cool
YESS KIPPS but also no wonder he's terrified, he's starting to lose his sight (oops, beat George to it!)
Lucy: "stop glowing so much! that was to the skull btw" Lockwood: " yeah no kidding, I got that one"
In the first shot where Kat and Bobby square up to fight Lockwood, you can't see Bobby's rapier so it looks like he's just brought his fists to a swordfight hahaha
He does look suitably smol in that bit though, I approve (anyway he's not THAT small after all)
HI NED
REMEMBER, JUST RECKLESS ENOUGH, OK? *cue me sobbing*
Winkman's so funny "wait guys before we fight them I need to take off my jacket so I can fight them in my tank top and be all cool”
YES BOBBY!!! <3
NO BOBBY!!!!
Kipps hun, ru crying?
YES KAT
Oh wait guys, pay attention, we're about to be ROBBED of the no glasses George looking moment
ALSO Joplin and George glasses-less fight erasure
ALIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Oof good evil lighting on Lou (Joplin)
The Lucy/George friendship is the best (see La Belle Dame from TEG)
Lockwood's responses are literally me every time the Golden Blade shows up. He's just a less iconic version of Sir Rupert Gale - where's the unbearable aftershave and gaudy tweed suit? *Lockwood voice* BoRiNg!
Lol Kipps in the bag
I don't like the artistic choice of the "looking into the bone glass" SFX, but I do think it's cool to have Lucy falling and hanging from the skull
George saves the day obviously
Kipps: "...guys.... nice wholesome moment... still in the bag here..."
Lucy: "this is not how you die" Lockwood: "how do you know?" Lucy: "because... we won't let you" IS THE HESISTATION BECAUSE SHE'S JUST SEEN THAT VISION OF FROZEN GHOST TOUCHED LOCKWOOD?!?!?! DONT HURT ME LIKE THAT
Kipps, my burnt out early 20s beloved <3
Stupid time to point this out but I kind of hate-love the little trouser stirrups of the Fittes uniforms
Barnes: "you guys are being suspiciously compliant but for once I'm going to ignore it"
Obviously the room! And Lockwood in orange socks (or are they pink? I guess I’ll never know)
K bye, hope you enjoyed!
#WE WERE ROBBED#how exactly would they open s2???#lockwood and co#lockwood and co spoilers#bobby talks#lockwood and co rewatch

as always you are so right on your opinions lmao.. cr will always have a special place in my hearth but since watching other (better) live plays and playing myself I cant sit through a single ep.. matt is great but he is almost too descriptive we dont need all of that matt please edit it down a little king, and the cast man i loved them but they are not decisive people like i feel like poking them with a stick (except travis thats my #1 rp on that table).. the most recent cr thing I watched was calamity and thats kinda cause brennan is great and the cast was stellar abria, lou travis! sam when he is actually playing of others <3 but idk it feels sad like I have outgrown them.. :/
anyway love your mind as always and what is your fave d20 season if you dont mind sharing? I have only watched A Court of Fey & Flowers and I loved it.. but I have no idea what to watch next hehe
calamity was SOOOOOO GOOD you're so right. brennan really rocked up at critrole HQ, showed everyone how it's done, killed 5/6 PCs and ruined the rest of CR forever because nothing will ever be that good ever again. the sexiest table we've ever seen. "this is going to be a to whom it may concern - i cast fireball" BITCH!!!!!!
i think campaign 3 would have really benefited from a more elaborate or expansive session zero because the vision matt has for the campaign does NOT align with the characters at all. it doesn't seem like they're on the same page at all. the mighty nein worked because they were all random people, they all had something unresolved or mysterious in their past, they all had secrets, and matt gave them a huge playground for them to develop those characters with plenty of scattered points of interest for them to choose. and even though it was just as chaotic as C3, it worked because they weren't on the clock.
i don't want to use the R word but bells hells are being railroaded into this predathos plot and NONE of them had ANY relationship with the gods, so it feels really unnatural for any of them to really pursue this beyond feeling like they should. orym and imogen have stronger motivations but orym is extremely passive and imogen just sits and whimpers about it making absolutely no decisions. it's very frustrating as a viewer and if i were DMing this i would be so frustrated with such indecisive players. but i think it's also on matt for inundating them with lore and plot so early on. all in all it's just not executed very well and it's disappointing.
oooh my fav d20 season i think is a court of fey and flowers or a crown of candy (not super keen on the ending, but i would have to rewatch and have a good think about what i would have done instead..). acofaf was just incredible, hats off to aabria for making me so invested in a fae bridgerton. WAIT ALSO MENTOPOLIS. i have never laughed so hard in my life. mike trapp and hank green were a DELIGHT. just absolutely incredible character choices all around. really enjoying fantasy high junior year so far, which is nice because sophomore year was a bit of a slog i'm ngl, probably because it was live and therefore unedited but i struggled sometimes to keep focused. junior year is fucking crisp though, everyone is on top form ❤️
#i still need to finish unsleeping city and dungeons & drag queens#haven't watched starstruck odyssey yet either or the bloodkeep one#oh also partway through neverafter. which requires more focus and brainpower than some of the others lol#so i'm a bit slow

Big pet peeve is how ep5-6 blasted through SO many years so fast I had whiplash. Like those 7 years Claudia was away feels like there's a lot more to mine both on her end (how she had to learn to survive alone, living in dumpy holes/walls, dodging authorities and white people) and back at home (was NOTHING else happening except Louis ignoring Lestat?). And the next 6 years is just Louis and Claudia chilling at home and Lestat sending gifts?
the frenetic feel of those later eps made sense 2 meee.. sum bout trauma engendering hypervigilance & how in louis’s narrative he breezes thru these painful periods. just as louis does not self-identify as a ‘victim’, he must breeze thru his 6 yr depressive period b4 claudia came back, breeze thru claudia’s aide in his recovery from an incredibly traumatic incident, and the aftermath before he took lestat back. also les aint sending gifts he lovebombing he tryna get back in lou life sooo bad.. this period of ‘loving claudia with all his heart, and loving lestat with a wounded one’ , the beginning of the end, the overture to a romance, is what he wants daniel to focus on here. why that heart became wounded is necessary to know. but also if louis does not identify as a victim , he def dont want dan+ an audience of voracious readers to face claudia’s own victimhood. + also considering how ppl cried tears of blood at claudia’s assault being ‘bad writing’ alone somehow i dont think theyd take it too positive to see claudia’s 6 yrs of her own on screen. the girls r similar to louis in that way where clauds story has to be cut for their sakes
#yn.#yn answers#Its funny tht ppl think ep5-6 went fast if anything pimp baby vamp lou went by way faster#N for its own reasons!#iwtv#louis de pointe du lac#claudia

I feel like I’m in the minority of non-druck stans that’s actually cautiously optimistic about this season.
I just really don’t think we’ve even scratched the surface yet. And I think there’s heaps of potential and directions this could go that would actually end up being pretty satisfying.
We’re still only 2 eps in. In wtfock S3 terms, we hadn’t even met sander yet at this point nor had we had a scene with just Robbe alone.
There’s just so much instant negativity. It’s exhausting.
Don’t get me wrong I could be totally misjudging and we could end up with a horribly unsatisfactory Kato 2.0 situation but I genuinely think Drucks smarter than that.
Firstly, Druck is not wtfock. Druck would never fuck up their season at those levels. Thats not their bag, If the germans are anything its consistent. Just from Druck's track record they always pull off an ok season even when its not their best. We have never seen druck fall flat on their face and I honestly dont think they will. Also there is so much to uncover here. I dont mind Lou as an LI but I guess I dont really buy this pairing being totally strait forward mainly because Ismail in away doesn't really know what he wants or who he is. I feel him always questioning things being uncertain and tentative. Like does he like Lou or not? Should he tell Consti how he feels or not? Is sascha the person he trust the most or not? Has he really changed his friend behaviors or not? I think a reason we feel so uncertain about this season is because he himself is uncertain. He is very wishy washy and I sorta of feel like Skam stories are coming of age stories in which finally the main is making decisions about who they are? and maybe the direction they want to head towards. Also I think a pattern I see a lot in Ismail is he is very reactive and he doesn't think about how his actions effect others. Like the time he tried to spend all the Abi committee money for the entire grade.
Like it wasn't his money and that was for everybody but he thought cool let just take this pot and blow it with my friends. Or how he doesn't even think twice canceling on Sascha when just the other day he got burned by consti who cancelled on him and Sascha stepped in. Or the fact that he will tell consti "hey dude dont go hard tonight" but then in the next breathe he is having shots with constantin. His word has very little weight and because of that he is unreliable narrator. I think right now we keep building and building but I do think everything is going to fall apart badly. Whether Lou or Sascha are the LI I dont think it matters because this is SKAM usually when mains behave this way it usually ends in tears in hell week and they lose everyone because they finally get a rude wake up call. I feel like right now we are on a light simmer but we are building to a burning flame in which everything is gonna go to shit and I think once things get really real we will see Ismail be pushed to make real decisions about himself and how he wants to approach his friends and his life in general.

Lyrics venus in furs the velvet underground
The sin is they never consummated their love. She married to find happiness which is what he wanted for her. Scopri il testo di Venus In Furs di Velvet Underground: Shiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather Whiplash girlchild in the dark Comes in bells, your servant. It was the genuine love they had years ago. What they did yesterday is not an affair. She's saying he had value (she loved him) but he never did anything. You've always had the wrong idea – down for you is up. She says to him that their relationship is like money- it's worth something but it's inert and can't stand up. He meets her years later after they have both lived a life. She was everything to him but the problem wasn't her but the world, If he could make the world like the strange enchanting vision he has in his mind they would be together. She was everything to him but could never be his. Well enough to be pleased saddened and maddened by her. Fully consistent with the style of the film, this composition includes bells, minor guitar and. For me it is the sad musings of an older man about meeting someone he hopelessly loved in his youth. I have a different reaction now to this song to when I was 18. General CommentSetting aside the fact that this song is about the sweet balm of heroin it is also about love and life.īeing about the same age as Lou (would be). Velvet Underground - Venus In Furs Lyrics (reed) Shiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather Whiplash girlchild in the dark Clubs and bells, your servant, dont. She is an ideal and ultimately unkeepable love for him on pedestal and he's doomed to be haunted by her Pale blue eyes. It can't last.Ī very sad and beautiful song. What they are doing is backwards "lies but can't stand up, down for you is up". But that is not to be: "skip a life completely, stuff it in a cup". He imagines a world "pure and strange" where they could be together, where only love matters and not inconvenient facts like that she's married to someone else. But since it's an affair it's something he "had but couldn't keep", because she'll never truly be his. As mentioned above, fans of The Velvet Underground will enjoy the EP Extended Play. Those songs could be considered the hits of Venus in Furs. Admirers of synthesizers should give the tracks ‘Almost’, ‘Love Lies’ and ‘Sondown’ a listen. "Thought of you as my mountain top" "my peak". The songs ‘Majordomo’ and ‘Platonic Love’ are epic and slow, in the vein of Joy Division’s ‘Atmosphere’. When you have an affair, you get very infatuated. "The fact that you are married, only proves that you're my best friend" - I think this means she wanted be with him so much, they have such a connection, she was willing to step over the fact that she's married. They had sex and he at least would do it again (even though "It's truly, truly a sin"). Venus in Furs Lyrics von Velvet Underground mit Video: Shiny, shiny, shiny boots of leather / Whiplash girlchild in the dark / Comes in bells, your servant. "It was good what we did yesterday and I'd do it once again". The man and woman in this song had a love affair. This isn't about a guy who wants a girl or wants her back and now she's married. My InterpretationThis is not a song about unrequited love, rather it's about impossible love.

rise ep 7
this ...was... an episode
let’s just get right to it
every episode opens up on Lou and his wife doing something for Gordy
but he’s getting actual help
i did not see Sasha being pregnant coming
lillette is the daughter playing the role of her mother and i just wanna hug her and tell her it’s gonna be ok
robbie is benched... you don’t bench the best player
when robbie said “you can bench me, bury me but i will show up for my team on Friday” i got flashbacks of Finn from glee saying “ you can break my soul, take my life away, beat me,hurt me. kill me, but for the love of God dont touch her”
anyone else or just me making connect to my two favorite quarterbacks
andddd now i’m crying
anyway
when Lou and Maccous started to tear up the mini set- my heart stopped i was in shock
i really love Lou as a director he just wants to give these kids the best show possible, and believes in them so much
tell me in the recipes if you think Simon has feeling for Jeremy
Gordy went out and DIDNT DRINK
this has been said before but the season finale of rise needs to be a 2 1/2 hour long episode of them doing spring awakening
anyone else get so happy when they see Rillete together
anyway those are my thoughts on tonight’s episode
love you
see you next week for rise rundown

This is the official dialogue per IMDB. I guess you could say it's questionable but Daniel does call out the BS about how they were scattered and then Louis has to admit he just didn't wanna share it last time?
Daniel Molloy: So, it begs the question, where were all these diaries in 1973?
Louis de Pointe du Lac: Scattered. One in New Orleans, another in Paris.
Daniel Molloy: Bullshit.
Louis de Pointe du Lac: [long pause] Claudia was… everything. I loved her unconditionally. All the noise, the chaos, the crisis of my former existence, silenced. The simple joy of her hand in mine.
Daniel Molloy: You had a daughter.
Louis de Pointe du Lac: I had a daughter.
Daniel Molloy: I've got two. The love is kind of…
Louis de Pointe du Lac: And if you were to come across their diaries and learn, in detail, how and when you failed them, would you share those failures with a brash young reporter you met at Polynesian Mary's?
So I think Louis just couldnt face his failures then or share them with someone he met in such a casual encounter vs now trusting them wth an older Daniel who has kids of his own
thank u for the script! i agree that louis didnt want to face how he hurt claudia.. even now, when recalling the day he doomed her to being trapped in a physically eternal adolescence[+ her later, even crueler death], he still frames claudia as 'his light, his redemption' [for what, lou? his past of tricking? when her life would be so tragic with or without louis?] but as to if he knew the full content of claudia's diaries in the 1970s we wouldnt know yet + daniel dont rly got the perspective to know whether louis did or didnt have them neither? i dont think we as the audience were meant to take what daniel said here as some sort of confirmation that louis always had the diaries. n tbf would louis rly wanna share those diaries w a 20 something he met at a gay bar tho even if he had them? if we r meant to think louis had claudia's diaries in the 1970s based off this scene id be interested in how the show would do this.. i just find it rly interesting how louis seems to be motivated to gather this truth + reconciliation committee over his own life knowing in his read of claudia's diaries that she resented both lestat and louis, who cut out which parts exactly, as well as other extenuating factors i done said before contrasting his mindset in the 70s v. now.. im not tooo committed to any particular line of speculation but i took dan’s saying its bullshit bc all he know is 1) claudia literally isnt there in the modern day and its clear other ppl have censored her diaries and 2) he suspects louis’s involvement in why/how.. he says bullshit on the diaries being scattered but we know louis and claudia traverse both new orleans & paris so i took it as dan's pov also being biased just as any other? dan is using this interview as a means to doubly probe into louis’s psychology, and he doesnt have the most generous read on louis's 'reliability'. this 'trust' or reliability as i put it erodes the further the interview goes on, the less daniel knows the more hes afraid of, and when hes afraid like bogosian says, he becomes more combative + less concilatory/actually conducting a proper interview lolol. his prior knowledge of the 1970s tapes is being subsumed by the modern interview. the old tapes just got burnt by lou last ep after all, and what we see on screen is not word for word beat for beat what louis is telling daniel [or otherwise showing daniel thru the mind].
side note: something i find interesting in the script..
The love is kind of…
trashbag deadbeat dad whos daughters prolly refused to talk to him if not cut him off completely the older they became [daniel] meets emotionally codependent mom/vampire sibling ..

It’s not Ismail being an unlikeable tool that is my problem with this season. It’s the lack of development of anything.
The pacing is weird af and the clips so short and sporadic that they are rarely coherent.
The core of whatever plot there is, to me, is super interesting but there’s just not enough of it.
I love a bit of an anti-hero. But they’ve just not committed to anything. Things get brought up that seem like they’re going to be relevant only to go no where.
It’s like they’ve thrown every idea they had in the writers room at it, but not bothered to expand on any one point nor make any of it flow. Content of the first 3-4 eps could’ve easily happened in half the time.
I will say this ep and the last have been much better but i still don’t really feel like I know much about anything they’re trying to achieve.
I wanna be in Isi’s head way more.
I mean I 💯 agree the pacing has been so off. For example these last few clips we finally get movement but because druck follows the Friday plot movement clip it usually means that Monday-Wednesday we go back to meandering around the season. This is probably my biggest issue with druck. Like we don’t need to stall the plot is moving let’s keep going with it. DONT STOP! I feel like we are finally getting somewhere and we don’t have that many episodes left to the season. I agree the gender issues really should have taken center stage instead of whatever the consti and Lou plot was. I just think we could have easily communicated how toxic Ismail and consti are as friends without lou and 3 episodes following them around just hanging out. I have said from day one that Ismail ends up alone in their season and am sticking to it. Ismail may end up in a situation where sascha says maybe in the future when they grow up but they aren’t there and they aren’t gonna get there in 4 episodes. This season really feels like Arthur’s season to me. Seasons dealing with incredibly delicate topics effecting teens but making the main highly unlikeable and making their LI super like-able. Like I said issue with those set ups is it basically puts the writers in a corner concerning the outcome. It’s clear in druck the outcome is isi being alone and maturing as a person. Not only taking more time to explore what gender means to them but what loyalty and empathy mean when investing in people that care about you. Communicating properly with your family and love ones. Like I said I don’t see how the outcome of this season isn’t Ismail working on himself as a person. It was the same with Arthur and it was the same with Lola (her outcome had to be rehab there was no other option because of the writing). Like you said I don’t mind antihero seasons they just corner the writers into an outcome and so the lead up has to be kinda of perfect. Also concerning the writing the writing room is new and they wrote 1/2 episodes each and handed off and it shows. Some of these episode like you said could have been cut in half. At this point I just want to see Ismail work on themselves at the end. That’s for me the only real valuable outcome.
