#but i don’t really want samatoki to take away nemu’s place like if the division winners do take over the government

While I'm not excited about another 3 way battle, I'm intrigued by Chuoku fighting to determine the champion. I wonder if this means whoever beats them takes over the government... As much as I love Kuko I do NOT want him to be Prime Minister of Japan. I do genuinely think if the stakes are whoever wins takes over MTC would be the best. Samatoki is the leader of an organization already, and his teammates are a lawman and a soldier, they got three basic functions of a government right there! I just hope that BAT makes it to round two at the very least. Clown Division has a snowballs chance in hell of beating MTC, but BAT could pull a win over BB.
i might be misunderstanding the chuuoku track, but i was under the impression that chuuoku intends to lead the nation by whichever ideals come thru strongest in the divisions’ music???? like it’s a possibility that chuuoku gets dismantled if that’s something desired lol but i got the sense that it’s their ideals that’ll lead the nation and not the division winners themselves
tho i could be very wrong about that LOL anyway i think it’ll be close with bb vs bat!!!!! very very close!!!! bb had more total votes than bat in the 2nd drb but a lot of factors affected those votes (it being bat’s first so the fans didn’t know how to keep up, bb votes slacked off after crushing it in the first two rounds) so that tells me they have around equal sized fanbases
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and you never know lol!!!! fp was popular before the story swung in their favour yeah, but the story did frame an fp win. i personally feel like bat had the stronger story track (and music but who cares about that lol 🥴) so maybe there can be a story boost for bat lol

Ramuda: Baby Girl
Anon asked: ALRIGHT LETS COMPLETE THE TRIO!! Ramuda finding a baby or even just general Dad!Ramuda headcanons? (Can it be twins please!?) THANK YOU AND THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!
Oh sure! I love you!
Ramuda was a loner. No really, he didn’t want to get attached anymore, but the fact that he was bonding with Fling Posse wasn’t helping with that. Given that their new song was… written with nothing but the truth. Hypnosis mics don’t allow the user to lie… and he supposed now that he had Dice and Gentaro, there was a warmth gain in the place that was long determined cold by a past conflict.
Ramuda arrived at his studio, but the door wasn’t locked. His eyes narrowed and he reached into his pocket for his hypnosis mic. He went inside, his eyes wide and ready to attack, the skipping child facade no longer present. He closed the door behind him and locked it. He hated wreaking his studio, but he would have to if it meant-
A mound of clothes wriggled and Ramuda approached it with caution, a hand straying to his pocket where he kept a switchblade. He approached it slowly.
He then ripped the cloth away and nearly plunged the blade into the soft stomach of a baby. His hand stilled and he put the switchblade back in his pocket in one smooth motion. He put his hypnosis mic back.
The baby was a few months old, wriggling in a soft green blanket. He then laughed at Fling Posse becoming the dad division, not even the old man division first. It was of course, the one with a king, a bandit and a scientist. The one with a homeless man, an author, and a fashion designer. What were the odds?
He looked around the studio, looking at all the possible hiding places with his keen eye.
Whoever dumped the baby inside must be a brilliant locksmith.
When he had determined that no one was there, he picked up the baby. He looked under the cloths it was swaddled in. Female.
Ramuda sighed. He didn’t exactly want a daughter-
“Ow!” He exclaimed and looked at the baby with narrowed eyes. “Naughty.”
The baby giggled and pulled again at Ramuda’s pink hair. Ramuda wrinkled his nose. Something in Ramuda’s heart melted as he found himself stroking the baby’s cheek. The little girl leaned into his touch and babbled a little bit, drool dripping out of her mouth.
Ramuda wiped it away with the sleeve of his sweater.
He found himself thinking of the Buster Bros, without any parents. He thought of Samatoki-sama who raised Nemu on his own and went to drastic lengths to do so... he thought about himself, a loner almost since the beginning.
He wasn’t that open yet to having people in his life beyond Fling Posse, who was just beginning to be in his life anyway, but...
He couldn’t just leave her, or be as good as the one that let her go and give her to someone who might not be able to take care of her.
There were plenty of capable people, surely he wasn’t the only one...
He looked down at the girl again, whose eyes were blinking slowly as if she was falling asleep and finally feeling safe.
Something again cracked in his heart.
He pursed his lips as he knew the decision that he was going to make anyway.
Besides, if someone was desperate to break into his apartment and give a baby to him, he was sure he was probably the only one who could take care of her. And the baby was probably... meant for him. Maybe to teach him something, he wasn’t sure.
Well, he supposed he would make the most out of it, besides, five minutes in and she was already growing on him, those twinkling eyes shining with light that he had been faking for a long time.
“No way?!” Dice exclaimed, his son playing with Gentaro’s daughter in the discarded pile of fabrics. “You have one too?”
The fashion designer had invited the two of them over after he got the entire procedure sorted out, and he was now officially the guardian of the baby he found in the cloth pile a month ago.
Ramuda pouted and bounced the little girl on his knee. “Ehhhh, why not?” Ramuda smiled.
Gentaro thought back to some time when he didn’t want Ramuda to hold his child… maybe now it would be alright… considering the dynamic had improved in between them after some time and after the whole grasshopper incident… Ramuda hadn’t left them. Gentaro was sure he would, but he didn’t. The author cleared his throat and glanced at the two kids in the cloth. “Ramuda, you can take care-“
“If the idiot can take care of his son, then why can’t I?” Ramuda blew a raspberry into her stomach.
“Yeah!” Dice smiled and pumped his fist. Then he realised he was the one being insulted. “Why you little-“
“Eyyyyyy!” Ramuda covered his daughter’s ears. “No swearing!”
“The papers-“ Gentaro started before the argument could become a full-blown battle.
Ramuda waved a hand. “I got it covered and done! Don’t worry about me.” He smiled at the two men that were now his friends and… perhaps beginning to be his family. “We’ll be fine.”  And he meant that not just for his kids, but the growing family as well.
Gentaro and Dice exchanged a look, seeing a faint light in Ramuda’s eyes.
The author contemplated on this new development, figuring it was probably good for them and all that, even if they weren’t the most likely to have children first out of all the other men.
What mattered though was that Ramuda was improving, and he was letting him and Dice into his life.
Maybe a daughter would help that cause as well, bringing him back from the darkness the scientist buried himself so far in. Perhaps, a place called home.
Then they looked to where their kids are- were.
Dice screamed. “GENTARO WHERE DID THEY GO?!”
Gentaro, knowing that they were just hiding behind Ramuda’s chair, only looked bored. “Maybe they drowned in the cloth.”
Dice ran and dove for the cloth.
Ramuda and Gentaro laughed as the kids revealed himself.
The little girl on Ramuda’s lap also giggled as well.
Ramuda looked again at his new daughter with a tender smile which Gentaro didn’t miss.
Yes.
They would be fine.
