hm. i actually really like cazador (<my last words before getting executed)
#rena.txt#LIKE. yes he's done terrible things etc etc you don't need me to go into specifics here everyone knows it#but i do like the whole narrative arc and the unbroken cycle of abuse that leads to astarion having the choice to break or be part of it#and i like the moral bankruptcy of vampires and i like how cazador was 'raised' into a monster by vellioth and how his teachings#still follow cazador and live past him as he does the same to his spawns#like vellioth making cazador pay for rebelling with an ELEVEN years long impalement vs astarion being entombed alone for a whole year#left in the dark and to starve bc he refused to bring cazador a victim........yea. the patterns i'm seeing them in my brain#what can i say yes i like a character for his terrible actions no i don't think a character always needs a sad heartbreaking past to#like their terrible vile self. sometimes characters are evil bc they are and that's it and it's okay to find them interesting#(<you can tell i'm scared to he hunted for sport for this. it's tumblr after all)
