So I've learned a few days ago that I may have spent the majority of my life fighting demons I didn't even know existed?? (inattentive adhd)
#somehow i never learned that adhd can present as primarily inattentive until a few days ago???#anyway i say may have because im not actually sure i meet enough of the qualifications laid out in the dsm-5#you need 5 out of 9 of the things listed in the dsm-5 if youre an adult but at a quick glance i think i only have. like. 4#but i did an online self-screening test (which i know arent always accurate but they can give you a general idea)#and the result was probable adhd#but i cant say for certain one way or the other if i have it yet#id need to do more research before coning to any solid conclusions and maybe seeking a diagnosis
