thinking more about demi-goddess of death elizabeth + headcanons

she's been in peril (frequently) and she never seems to die.

10 years after AWE, elizabeth should be like 35ish, but she appears perpetually 25

people start to get curious/concerned. rumors start up that the Pirate King made a deal with Calypso to stay young forever.

In fact; the rumors aren't that far off, Elizabeth and Calypso frequently spent time together away from men's prying eyes.

Eventually her son grows old enough to take her place as King. Given that he grew up in shipwreck cove, and learned the ins and outs of strategy, trade, and pirating by the time he was 15, he was elected in the 5th ever Bretheren Court. Directly following this, Elizabeth seemingly disappeared.

She sought out Jack, immortal after his return from the locker, and spent the next few years with him in the time between Will's 10 year anniversaries.

As the years go by, she's gotten more in tune with her divine self, and is able to sense death's aura. She can feel the way it clings to starving people, the way it reeks from the oppressed and high risk living folks.

Occasionally she goes onto land and immersed herself in some terror or peril with a high mortality rate, fighting her best to save people and ensure freedom.

She never misses one of Will's land days, though. Not once, even when she got so distracted by the Stonewall Riots that she had to commandeer a seaplane to make it back to the meeting place in time. She is still a pirate, after all.

She likes spending time with Jack because death's aura leaves him alone. Laying with Jack is like a breath of fresh air after many days inside.

Again, I personally find no problems with the DLC except for how Radahn ship came from nowhere and can justify how that comes. But regardless of how many things anyone else dislikes about the DLC: you are valid to hate it as much as you want, but when you start insulting people who loved/accepted/justified the DLC as "media illiterate fromsoft dickriders who keeps coping even after the honeymoon phase passed" and variation I draw the line. There are many ways where other fans can find reason where you didn't and there is potential in new lore that you won't use. Absurd how some people are still willing to support illusory narrative that Radahn Redditor simps are the "worst" part of the fandom when not even at their most arrogant and annoying they can dream to reach HALF of the toxicity cultish Miquella/Malenia fans have, over the awful crime of having different readings, opinions and priorities.

And yes, I know it is inevitable that Tumblr and Twitter fans WOULD make a moral/intellectual/maturity contest out of how people feel about the DLC (🤡🤡🤡), but it hurts when people I actually don't want to butt heads with who start to approve of this mentality. Like, okay cool. Wallow in your elitist toxic pool of Ledas while we, "pathetic dickriders" go and "cope" somewhere else, hope everyone is more comfortable this way 🤦‍♂️ I am tired of getting hurt through endless passive aggression and I have my limits. cup headcanons bc im too anxious to sleep

- literally CANT sleep with socks on (me too)

- always has to be doing something even if its small to keep his mind busy so he doesn't go insane

My most major one is how Kenshi sees Ermac. Since Ermac is an amalgamation of souls and Sento allows Kenshi to see souls, they don't look human to him.

Kenshi, when they were still getting to know each other, was under the impression that Ermac didn’t have a human body.

I imagine Kenshi found out when they were sparring and Ermac managed to pin him down and instead of what he was expecting, it was a very human body pressed against him. (Yes I know Ermac probably would’ve held him down with telekinesis, but let’s imagine this was a no powers spar)

Like he’s touched Ermac before, but that’s never expanded past brief touches. So he was confused to say the least.

Ermac being technically undead has a lower body temperature. They often seek out Kenshi to cuddle.

Kenshi can't read Ermac's thoughts. Well he can but he can't make sense of them because each soul within Ermac has their own voice. It sounds like thousands of echoed voices overlapping each other.

Ermac got Kenshi hooked on Edenian food.

I have to admit...... and I'm ashamed to say it............... but I was only half-aware of Ace in Alabasta—like at that point, he was just another "wacky cool shounen guy" to me. It took Marineford breaking my brain down to its component parts and rearranging them for my full Ace brainrot to set in, and at that point he was closer to Ethereal Fridged Wife wano Ace, so I'd probably go with that one? God I do need to rewatch Alabasta tho, I feel like it'd be such a trip of fawning over greasy ratman Ace this time around ahahahah

And yesss, bc of that he was probably holding his memories of Luffy so close all the time, seeing his brother who loves him in the innocent, trusting kid he helps, and unable to stop bragging about his brave little brother to the brash, impressive club-weilding guy he runs into.

meanwhile I feel like Alabasta Ace is actually more mellowed-out in his feelings toward Luffy, in a way? like idk, maybe—I might be completely off—but he's more secure in himself and his attachment to Luffy... or at least he tells himself he is. I know it was ret-conned that "God created all the Gods," but it could be a lie. Maybe Chuck-God is doing a power grab!

I am not so good at remembering the timeline of season 7, and to be honest, I'm a shallow girl: I mostly paid attention to the Chronos episode for Eliot Ness and his awesome sass.
