Shadows will guide you home | Azriel × reader
Summary: Some fae don't like the idea of the Archerons turning into high fae and reader being one in unfamiliar city makes a perfect opportunity for an intervention Warnings: acotar related violence, not super descriptive, language, slight angst Word count: 1.4k a/n: Hii, this is my very first fanfic, please remember to be kind. <3 Also English is not my first language so it may be a bit rough.
Being another Archeron sister was quite exhausting. The constant comparison drawn between you ever since you were born created a dark place deep within you. After years of being poor, starved, and uneducated, the family regained their riches back thanks to Feyre. The cost left you empty, breaking your heart into a million pieces. You wanted your sister back more than anything, you would return your newfound lifestyle to have her with you again. Taking lessons together, sharing laughs, and pretending as if everything is normal. As if she never left and their father hadn't left them to starvation.
Instead, the Gods were laughing in your face as you with two of your sisters were changed and thrown into the world of high fae. While you got your sister back, there were matters to be taken care of. Leaving you alone in a city and with species foreign to you. You had met the inner circle while you were still human. They were nothing but kind to you then, but you assumed that was because you were Feyre's sister. Now they haven't paid you much mind because their hands were either full with court business you didn't understand or your sisters. You were left scarred inside while pretending it hadn't affected you as much.
''Are you listening?'' Asked a pretty blonde in a red dress, Mor. ''I'm sorry, I just spaced out a little. What were you saying?'' You smiled, red creeping up your cheeks. ''You are free to explore the city, you don't have to feel caged inside.'' She returned your smile. ''Oh, I don't feel like that. I...I guess it's kind of strange to be here. Is there an apothecary around here?''
''Yes, it's in the square just next to the bridge you can’t miss it,'' Mor replied. ''I must go, but I will see you during dinnertime.'' She smiled for the last time as she disappeared into thin air. She came by just to invite you as per Feyre's request. Your sister knew you were too polite to decline any offer and without it you would probably not show up.
''Right.'' You mumbled under your breath as you looked out of the window. In the reflection, you caught the sigh of a shadow. You whipped around to see nothing. Signing, you turned to the window again thinking about certain Illyrian familiar with shadows. When you first met him, he was like a rock that you could lean onto while the queens invaded your home. You talked, feeling an instant connection and thought he felt the same. You didn't remember what happened during the changing process, your brain blocked the memory altogether. But after waking up in Velaris, he didn't seem to notice you, rather seeking the company of your older twin sister.
You knew it wasn't rational to feel hurt by this, but that didn't stop your heart from throbbing. Exhaling a deep breath you went to explore the city as Mor suggested, feeling sick of your little pity party.
After hours spent in the city, it was starting to get dark. Nights here were magical, but your fear of them only amplified during years spent in the dark streets trying to provide for your family by any means necessary, so you tried to hurry back to the house. Taking a turn into an ally wasn't a choice you wanted to make, but panic started to take over every action your body made. Looking around you knew you were lost and didn't know where to go next.
''Looking for something?'' You whipped around with shock in your eyes. ''No, but thank you. My partner is just around the corner.'' You smiled politely your instincts kicking in as you lied smoothly. A shadow caressed your skin as if to soothe your worries and disappeared. You didn't have time to think about it more as the man standing in front of you stepped closer. ''Are you sure? We could help you, Y/N.'' Another dark figure from behind you said so near you could feel his breath on your neck. ''I don't know who you think I am, but that is not my name. And I do not need help from strangers. So let me pass.'' You tried to will your voice not to tremble, but it was of no use. You were starting to give in to the panic rising within you. ''And we don't need humans becoming high fae and hijacking our court. But here you are.'' Said a male in front of you while pulling out a knife. “This will send the message." Continued another one next to what you pressumed was the leader. One againts three were not the odds you prefered.
You had no idea how they found out your name or how they knew of your fate of becoming fae. "Feeling threatened by a female?" You knew getting a rise out of them was not the smartest idea. But maybe it could gain you valuable time for someone, anyone to notice. Velaris was supposed to be peaceful after all.
"You think you're funny, huh? We'll see if you'll find the knife just as entertaining." The male behind you pulled your hair harshly earning a scream from you. You didn't understand how they could blame you for something you had no control over. “Watch the alley, will you?” The male infront of you ordered the one standing next to him as he lifted his hand to your face. The knife danced lightly on your cheek leaving you defenseless. "Just so you know, maiming your face will be a pleasure." He whispered to your ear as he increased the presure on the knife drawing blood.
The whole alley turned pitch black. You had fae senses, but the dark was completely impenetrable yet familiar. You could only feel your hair being released, knife falling to the pavement, followed by screams and scratches on the stone. You were paralyzed, terrified, and unable to move. The dark had you in its claws and you could feel your breath getting more and more quick. ''How dare you hurt her ?'' A deep familiar voice took you out of your panic. There was no answer to his question. Only whimpers.
The shadows slowly dissolved letting in light from the main streets. There was no one here anymore. Only blood and scratches deep in the stone indicated a struggle.
Azriel appeared in front of you his hands gently grazing your untouched cheek. ''Don't look at it.'' His voice hoarse. You inhaled his scent making you instantly relaxed. ''Are you hurt?'' He asked worry lacing his voice. You gave him a shake of a head not trusting your voice. ''Lies. Shaken. Blood.'' Hissed hushed voice, startling you. ''I am not lying. I am just fine.'' You pushed Azriel away looking around for the source. ''You can hear them?'' Azriel frowned examining you.
''Look, I am sorry you had to bother with this. I know there are a lot of things to be done and I should have known how to protect myself-'' He stopped you from rambling with a thumb to your lips. His previous question forgotten. ''No one has a right to assault you. It is not your fault. Velaris is supposed to be safe. I promise that no one will harm you ever again.'' He left you completely stunned. ''Now, could you please show me where they hurt you, so we can heal it?'' Azriel asked slowly removing his thumb from your lips. Leaving you wishing it could stay there for a bit longer. You pushed back the hair that was covering your healing cheek. ''It's already healing. My abilities do come with very fast healing. As long as I don't use my powers much. I am just a bit shocked, that's all.'' You admitted looking to the stone path. ''Let's get you home then." He offered his hand which you gladly took your heart threatening to jump out of your chest.
''Look, Nesta started training with Cass and a few priestesses joined her. It is a way for them to regain their power and help them with their struggles. I was thinking that maybe it could be something you would give a try?'' Azriel asked as he led you through the house to your bedroom. ''Oh...I think I would like that.'' You smiled. Silence enveloping you again.
''Thank you, Az. For today and the offer.'' You looked down standing infront of the door to your bedroom. ''There is no need to thank me. But you should get some sleep.'' He looked at your door and then down the hallway. ''I will be right next to your room if you need anything. So please, let me know.'' He gave you a look of urgency and you gave him a nod even if you knew you would not. He probably knew it, too. ''Goodnight.''
"Goodnight."

Wishes Do Come True
JJ Maybank x fem!reader
Summery: It was just a legend, something out in place to make people believe in something that couldn’t be true. But when fate has its way, JJ learns that sometimes, wishes do come true. CONTAINS SEASON 4 SPOILERS!!!
Ryan shot the gun first. He shot it because Ward was charging at him, his teeth bared and his arms spread wide. How fitting that he would go out as a somewhat decent father, a man who took three bullets and threw himself over a cliff to save his daughter and her Pogue best friends.
JJ remembers the feeling of the earth bending beneath his feet as he practically sprinted over to the edge, looking down past his feet to see where the Kook and the henchman lay. JJ thought it was strange, how someone could be so crumpled up, he knew bones weren’t made to bend that way, so seeing the way his body twisted made him a little sick.
He can hear Sarahs soft cries and echoing hiccups clearly, how Kiara seemed to grab onto herself to steady her breathing. He remembers seeing how tightly John B’s arms were woven around Sarah’s body, as if he were afraid she would jump next, as if her body could save his. There was no saving that, as sick as it was.
But what he really remembers, is the softness of her voice calling out for him, the way her voice shook like it was hard to get out. Only then did the sounds of his friends stop ringing in his ears, and through some champagne party effect, he could focus in on just the quietness of her. Only then did he realize as he tried to wrap his arm around thin air that she wasn’t at the ledge.
A stray bullet, it’s a funny thing. The shots fire, four, the last four bullets the man has, and only three reach the sacrificial lamb. The last one reaches one of the seven targets behind it.
Her hands shook over her upper stomach, gripping her skin just below her ribs. Even with a shaky focus, he could see the tint of red beginning to seep past her once light blue nails, now chipped and digging into the cloth of her shirt.
“JJ, I…I don’t…” She stumbled forward, her eyes flickering from his to some distant thing over his shoulder. She could barely focus her vision. He remembers the weight of her head hitting his shoulder as he caught her, the feeling of an extra warmth seeping into his own clothes, something wet and sticky that shouldn’t be drenching the two of them, but was.
“No, no, no. Come on cupcake, come on.” He gritted his teeth, trying to hold her up, but his need to keep her up was wavering at the look of agony on her face. She laid in his lap, his hand holding hers as they both pressed down on the wound, though, it was no use because they had no way home, and the nearest hospital wasn’t for miles. They had no idea where to even begin to search for one in the middle of all the greenery.
JJ rambled in a panic, a habit he’d always done, but she couldn’t make sense of it anymore. Her hearing was fuzzy and her vision came in and out in waves of darkness. She tried to look at her friends, but her eyes wouldn’t tear themselves away from her best friend’s face.
She had just gotten him, their love was still brand new, discovered on an island they were sure they would never find again. It was barely a month since they had shared a kiss under the stars, one both had been dreaming of for years. They went back and forth for what felt like centuries and now none of it mattered, because JJ was holding his love in his arms as she helplessly spat up blood and tried to focus on the blue of his eyes and not the tears on his face.
“It’s gonna be okay, you just gotta fight, you can fight. You fucking…” JJ broke out into a bitter laugh, one he didn’t mean as his palms messily wiped away the blood that trickled down her jaw. Red smeared everywhere, sticking to every crease in his skin. It burned, and so he kept smiling because his laughter, as disingenuous as it was, brought a weak smile to her face. “You saved my life, when I fell off that boat. You kept me alive, and I’m gonna keep you alive, so don’t give up on me.”
The sight of the tears finally spilling from her pretty eyes would forever haunt JJ, because he knew as her chest caved in against his lap, that the pain was too great to make her stay and suffer through, when they both knew she was as good as dead as soon as the gun was fired.
“It doesn’t hurt so bad anymore.” She had told him weakly, the initial throbbing turning into an intense burning, a mix of the powder and the blood that pooled around her, soaking his skin through his pants.
“N-no, come on baby…baby, cupcake, please.” He pleaded. “I love you, please.”
Her ears seemed to clear at his heavy confession, and a sweet smile, the sweet smile he had fallen for back in the third grade, graced her pretty, tired face one last time.
“I love you JJ.” She promised, blinking back the tears. Somehow, she found the strength to lift his hand from her wound and press her bloodied lips to his sticky palm.
He had to watch the way her eyes fluttered shut, one last choked breath that sounded similar to what Pope would later explain as death rattle breathing, escaped her mouth, and that sweet little smile faded into nothing as she laid dead in her best friends arms.
JJ was never quite the same after that. He still loved his friends, he was still reckless and loud and impulsive, but he seemed to do it all for her.
When they won their money finally, he thought of all the things he would’ve bought for her, all the beaches they could’ve surfed across. When he finally found a place to call home, he placed her pillow on her side of his bed, fluffed it up for her and swore some nights he could feel her head resting on his heavy chest.
He thought of how much she would have loved Poguelandia 2.0. It was bittersweet to see the flag because all he could think of was their first kiss under the white flag that waved proudly above them.
He missed their matching P4L stick and pokes, he hated that he had to look at his forever and know it no longer matched with anyone. He hated that everyone else around him had someone to lean on, a lover to come home to, when he knew he would never be able to love again. But most importantly, he hated how young she was. She was only nineteen.
John B told him it wasn’t about the time we had with those we have lost, but what we make of it, but JJ was too angry to care. He didn’t care, it was easy for John B to say when he had lost a best friend, but JJ had lost so much more.
He wore her charm bracelet on his wrist, even though it was tight and caused a lot of noise. He loved the charms on them because they were old and made of clay and they matched his rings and necklace. She made them when they were ten because they were too young for their tattoos.
He swore to never go after treasure again, he couldn’t risk it, but with the promise of a singular wish, JJ followed along like a duckling to Morocco, blood on his shirt and a new father to betray him.
“You know, they say the crown grants a wish.” Kiara broke the silence between them in the heat one day, looking up at the sky to avoid the awkwardness of eye contact. She didn’t have to ask to know he would wish for her back in a heartbeat, but she did anyway because truthfully she liked the way JJ talked about her. It made her feel like her best friend was still alive.
“Yeah?” JJ scoffed with a smirk. “What would you wish for?” He asked, leaning over the unstable ledge, bricks dusty and the cement breaking apart. It wobbled under his forearms.
“I’m not saying I believe it but…I’d wish to go back in time maybe. I’d try not to rush into everything.” She said calmly, her eyes finding JJ’s.
“What about you?” She asked softly, and JJ hummed.
“The thing about wishes is, they don’t come true if you say them.” Kiara laughed breathily at his words.
“Yeah?” She questioned for confirmation.
“Yeah.” He breathed out. “And I really want this one to come true.”
That phrase, “be careful what you wish for,” was made for people like JJ Maybank.
There’s this old game called “Monkeys Paw” that Y/n and JJ both loved when they were younger. One person would make a wish, and the goal of the game was to make that person regret that wish.
They would stay up for hours laughing about it.
If JJ wished for a pizza, the pizza was poisoned. If Y/n wanted a dog, it was rabid. They’d spend hours at a time waking up the neighbors just laughing at how outrageous they could make the faults.
Now that they were older, and now that Y/n was gone, JJ seemed to forget about the rules of the game.
He stumbled back, all air caught in his throat. He lost the crown, and he’d lost his girl, and now, here his biological father was with a knife twisted deep into his abdomen, pulling it out with a sickening crunch.
Kiara pleaded for him to keep fighting, her hands on the wound in a way that reminded him of the way he desperately pressed against Y/n’s all those weeks ago. Her cries were just as desperate, and they were just as fuzzy.
JJ now felt thankful he let her go peacefully, because living through the pain was insufferable, and he knew it would have been cruel to make her fight it any longer.
He cried a little, but he wasn’t sad. No, he was happy, even as Kiara screamed for Pope and John B, begging for help that would do no good because just like his precious Y/n, there was no way home and no help in sight.
He let out a hiccup, and his eyes focused on her brown ones as his vision cleared for a moment, the sting turning into a familiar burn.
“Kie, I never told you my wish.” He smiled, and she shook her head.
“No, Jayj, come on, you gotta fight it. I can’t lose you too.” She pleaded, and it was like he wasn’t even listening as he kept choking out words.
“I already got what I wished for.” He smiled.
All he ever wanted was a home, and though every sacred place he ever had to call that were short lived and destroyed, he had found it in the people who loved him, and the people he loved.
JJ wished for so much more than anyone thought, and he’d gotten all of it.
He had you at one point, and he was eternally grateful for every hug he ever received from your loving arms. He had Pope and John B, who made him laugh like no one else ever could, his ribs sore and his stomach shaking. Kiara and Sarah kept him grounded. He was grateful for how much they cared, how safe he felt around them. He knew he would miss his best friends more than anything else, he would miss them like family, because thats what they were.
The Pogues were his family, and his family was his home.
JJ wished for one last thing with the crown as the darkness took him. He slipped away from his body, his head lulling to the side as Kiara shook him, but he wasn’t there anymore, and he wasn’t afraid because there she was.
Kneeling beside Kiara and she didn’t even know, there she was, her sweet smile and her pretty eyes. She was holding both Kiara’s hand, and his hand, nothing more than wind to them on the ground, but now JJ could see her, and now he could hold her.
“Y/n? Cupcake?” He breathed out with a smile, the luckiest man in the world, even if his toes didn’t physically touch the dirt or the sand anymore.
“Jay…” She smiled back, a sweet sound falling past her lips, and it was simply half of his name.
As his arms wrapped around her tightly, his nose buried into her shoulder. It felt good to know that he would never have to let her go again, and that someday, his friends would have the same pleasure of holding him again too.
JJ’s wish had been a little greedy, because in addition to what he was already granted, he wished to be with Y/n again.
He guess he never really specified how but hey, wishes really do come true.

Nanami with a sick/touch starved reader. 💉
Nanami who left your peaceful sleeping form early in the morning and left for work.
Strange, He thought to himself. No good morning text from you or any other texts.
“Have you had breakfast?" [Sent]
Being in an arranged marriage and as a newly wed couple, you two weren't that yet affectionate in the relationship. No it definitely doesn't mean he doesn't like you. He does, a lot. But, you're both still very new to all this.
New to each other.
An hour later and still no text from you. You didn't even see his message. Now he was getting worried. So he took a very much early leave and came back home at around noon.
His worried suspicions came true when he saw you still lying on the bed, under your blanket.
You didn't get up yet? That's strange, you wake up an hour later after Nanami wakes up. Sure it was your day off but that's still strange.
He slowly approached you from behind and shook you gently, quietly whispering your name. With a hum you slowly opened your eyes but everything felt like a blur.
"You slept 'till noon." He smiled gently. You lay there motionless, not having the strength to get up. "I'll make us some lunch, why don't you go freshen yourself up."
A few minutes later when he came back from the kitchen and still saw you in bed lying there, he got a bit worried.
"Are you okay?" He said. "You've been in bed all-"
Just as he grabbed your hands, they were warm. Warmer than normal. Your forehead and neck were burning. He only noticed now how flushed your face was. Your cheeks were burning too. And your eyes..
They were red. You have been crying for who knows how long.
He gently sat you up, touching your cheek. "Why didn't you tell me about the fever?" Unable to answer, you looked down. Lips quivering. "I'm fine," you let out in a weak voice. Eyes watering slowly. "You can let me know anything, you know that right?"
Not able to hold it anymore you start crying. Nanami didn't know why you were crying, but he let you cry, holding your hand gently. He understood you needed to let whatever it was out. He was worried that something serious might have happened.
"My mother.." you sniffed. "She would get irritated with me whenever I got sick." He listened patiently. "I had no control over my getting sick, and she treated me so coldly too."
You wiped your tears away with both hands like a child. "I sometimes didn't wanna let her know that I was sick or feeling unwell."
"I didn't wanna bother you too"
You felt two hands pull you towards him.
Being in an arranged marriage and as a newly wed couple, you two weren't that yet affectionate in the relationship. This was the first time he took you in his embrace and let you cry.
"I'm sorry," he started "that you had to go through that. But, I'm here for you now. You are a part of my life. So please," he takes your hand in his. "Never hide your pain from me again. We're in this together."
This love, this affection, it was all too much for you as you had never experienced it before. You cried it all out and fell asleep in his embrace. He held you close, letting peace take over you.

Hi!! I’ve been loving your writing so far! And I agree, there’s not enough Ruggie love! mayhaps we can get a Ruggie x fem!reader is like Mitsuri Kanroji from demon slayer? Like she’s all happy and touchy and he’s just really flustered by everything she does (not sure if you’re comfortable talking about body types because Mitsrui is very curvy, so if you want to pls do!) the ending is up to you, just make it super fluffy
🩷
Hi 🩷-san!
I'm so glad you've been enjoying my writing so far!! Thank you! >w<
I'm so sorry this took so long! I'll be honest....I've only seen the 1st season of demon slayer. Shame on me! I need to continue watching it lol
Not sure if this is true to Mitsuri's character, but I tried my best. 🫶 It's one of the reasons this took so long 😆
TW: Guy being rude and pushy. Reader has a curvy body.
"Here! I got this for you. Make sure you stay hydrated!"
"I had some extra sandwiches that I packed for you. Here~"
"Oh. Your hair is a bit of a mess. Let me fix it for you."
Ruggie just sat on a bunch with his hands in his lap with a deep blush on his face. His ears were flat against his head as he felt you run your hand through his hair. Outside of the physical affection, it also didn't help that your rather busty chest was right in front of his face! He didn't know where to look!!
He wasn't sure why you started to dote and pamper him, but all Ruggie knew was he didn't know how to handle it. The hyena had to always fend for himself. To find his own food and to help provide for his family and friends back home. This sudden onslaught of attention left him feeling at a loss.
Not that it was a bad feeling or anything. Being treated with kindness by a beautiful and sexy woman was surprisingly....nice. More so than he would have thought, considering how females were back in the Sunset Savanna.
"There we go." You said after removing your hand from his hair. "You really need to learn to take better care of yourself, Ruggie."
Ruggie just nodded his head before glancing away from you with his face still red. "Y-yeah." Even the tone you used with him was so sweet and caring! His heart was having a hard time handling it! Clearing his throat, the hyena stood up as he gave you a small smile. "Got class coming up soon, so I'll catch you later."
"Okay. I have some time after classes today if you want to go out together? I heard they have a new flavor of donut." You said with a smile as you noticed his ear twitch at the mention of his favorite food.
"I'll meet you by the statues of the sevens after class." Ruggie said with a smile before he headed off to class.
As you watched him leave, you turned to head towards your own class. You have always admired Ruggie's tenacity, and despite what people thought of him, you liked him, and other people's opinions weren't going to change what you saw.
After the day came to an end, you stood by the statues of the great seven as you waited on Ruggie. A short while later, he came running up to you before the both of you headed off into town.
"You seem to be enjoying yourself." You said with a laugh as you watched Ruggie happily munch away on a couple of donuts he was holding.
"Of course. You can't go wrong with a good donut." He replied with a grin. "Wait here. I'll go grab us something to drink." He said before heading off towards a small stall that was selling drinks.
As you waited for Ruggie to return, you were suddenly addressed by some random stranger.
"Here there, beautiful." The man said grin as his eyes moved up and down your body. "How about we go get something to eat? I'll show you a good time."
Instantly, an annoyed look crossed your face as you made no effort to hide it. "I'm with someone." You said, hoping they would get the point that you had no interest.
"Come on, baby. Don't be like that. We can have some fun together." The strange said as he moved closer to you. The look he was giving you made you feel sick. It was a look you've gotten before and one you hated. The look like you were just some kind of object or plaything. It wasn't like you were aware of your body or looks, but you also didn't see any reason to be ashamed either. It's annoying people like this guy who needed to learn boundaries.
Just as the stranger started to reach out towards you, you took a step back but stopped when you noticed he seemed to be struggling.
""W-what...the....?" The man grunted as his body shook lightly before he turned around and started to walked towards a large fountain that was nearby. As he reached the edge, you watched as he man suddenly threw himself into the fountain as water splashed up.
With surprise writen all over your face you suddenly heard a voice as someone walked past you towards the man who suddenly gasped as he emerged from thr water in the fountain.
"The lady said she wasn't interested." Ruggie said as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Hope the water here helped to cool you down a bit."
"You bastard! What did you do to me?!" The man yelled as he pulled himself out of the fountain.
"Not that it's any of your business, but you should consider yourself lucky that all I did was make you to a bath. If you want to see what I'm really capable of, then by all means, continue to make an ass out of yourself. I don't mind at all. Shyeheehee." He said with a grin as he waited for the man's next move.
Unsure of this hyena power and the whispers coming from the crowd that was form, the man just huffed before he turned around and left.
"Damn jerk." Ruggie whispered under his breath. While he was waiting in line for the drinks, he happened to glance over and noticed some guy getting a bit too close to you and how uncomfortable you looked. In that moment, Ruggie felt his skin crawl at the sight, and before he knew it, he had already activated his signature spell on the guy. No one messed with you like that!
As he turned around to check on you, Ruggie let out a small "oof" when a body came colliding into his. Stumbling back a bit, he glanced down to see you with your face hidden against his chest and your arms wrapped around him in a hug.
Feeling his face grow hot again, Ruggie just kept his arms up as he wasn't sure what to do. "A-are you okay?" He asked as he blushed heavily at the feeling of your body pushed up against his.
"Thank you..." You muttered against Ruggie's chest before she slowly glanced up at him. "I always feel safe with you."
Ruggie froze as he felt like he had been just shot through the heart as you looked up at him with your large eyes and the light blush that dusted your cheeks. Ahhhh! He really was becoming weak when it came to you.
Relaxing a bit, Ruggle slowly returns the hug before he places his hand against the back of your head. "You don't have to worry when you're with me." He said without thinking, and almost immediately, he wanted to slap himself. Since when did he become so corny!? You, on the other hand, just smiled as you pushed yourself up closer to Ruggie's face.
Once close enough, you placed a gentle kiss against his cheek before smiling. "As thank you for being my knight, I'll treat you out to some dinner."
Feeling like his heart was going to explode from his chest, Ruggie cleared his throat before he took your hand in his. "Let's just enjoy the rest of our date."
At the word date, you felt your eyes widen at the fact that he said it first and the fact that you had been debating on how to officially as him out. Feeling an overwhelming sense of happiness, you wrapped yourself around Ruggie's arm before smiling. "Mm!" You really couldn't have asked for anyone better to be with.

🌷♡₊˚geek lover! eren🦢・₊✧
———————————————————————
This is a remake of the already geek lover eren, but specifically a sfw version but I actually really love this story
———————————————————————
Eren is a geek lover. He absolutely is enamored with you. Watching your lips with every word you spoke. The way you got excited telling him about every single new detail of the things you got interested in. Eren worked hard as a famous rnb singer, long days in the studio trying to perfect his songs. Then having to perform when he literally had the WORST anxiety known to man. It always felt like someone needed him and was on his ass about something.
But he did it all for you. So you can have everything your heart desired. He left nothing behind when it came to you. You wanted to see a new sci fi movie? He already bought out the theater. There’s a new podcast you like? He’s downloaded all the episodes for you on both yours and his phone. Don’t even get started on books. On your first date you mentioned you like to read and study psychology in your free time. Once you moved in he had your very own book room built for you. Carefully picking out each book for you on his own. Your own desk and room for you todo your writings in. He even surprised you with a laptop and camera so you can start your own podcast! He just wanted to show you how much he loved and supported you.
For moment like this were he could come home and listen to you tell him. About the things you've watched in your huge list of video essays that you had in a playlist on YouTube. How you lit up telling him different facts from how the dating game killer had a coworker that also happened to be a serial killer and he didn't know to the conspiracy theory of the 27 club, no matter what you said it always made you so happy and seeing you all giddy and stimming while you talked to him made him so content with his life.
"I know cotards syndrome, Koro, Diogenes, fregoli, hypochondria, pica, capgras, boanthropy, apotenmophilia, kulver bulcy, ekbom, erotomania, Stendhal. Pics is like one of the more well known. You know that show my strange addiction that we watch together? Yeah so like those people who eat the random shit like the lady who ate rocks- omg that reminds me!"
You were sitting on his lap, yapping his ear off.His eyes couldn't help but wander to your legs which lead him to notice you were wearing his boxers. Your hands thick thighs were filling them out so well. His hands moved to grip them as he watched you talk. You’d kill him later for not listening but he just felt so much dread when he was away from you that he couldn’t help but just stare at you forever.
Erens ass was not listening one bit. He was watching you, watching your body. You guys had been apart for a little over a month so could do a very short tour in another country and he was sick as fuck that he couldn't bring you.Everyone knew it too. His attitude fucking sucked that trip. He was antsy, his anxiety was through the roof, he snapped at everyone, overall he fucking hated it. But now, sitting here with you he finally felt at peace.
“Rennie, papa are you okay? You’re getting all red. Are you feeling sick baby?”
You were worried, he had a bad history of getting sick easily. With him coming back from another country he could have likely caught something. It would hurt your heart to know he wasn’t feeling well.
“I’m fine baby. Keep going. I wanna hear you talk.”
“Are you sure baby? We can go lay down if you’d like.”
It warmed his heart how much you cared for him. You made him the man he was. He used to be so closed off to anyone that wasn’t your friends mikasa and armin. You taught him how to deal with the grief of life and got him therapy to get through the rough days of his depression. He just loved you so much and truly couldn’t imagine being anywhere without you.
“I’m fine baby, just missed you so much..”
For my girlie @merakidoll

You didn’t know how it happened. It was supposed to be a safe place. Security is everywhere.
Though security probably didn’t have reason so suspect an engineer of doing something so awful. Defiling someone’s body without their consent.
You’d come to see Charles’ home race. Granted you live in Monaco and spend majority of your down time with drivers, their partners, and families. You’d grown up around them having gone with to see Charles race and then Arthur.
Your three older brothers had promised to keep you safe. Lorenzo felt that he had to fill your fathers shoes after his passing. Not that he saw you as helpless, but you’re always going to be his baby sister.
You wonder where they are now as you sit in Charles’ driver room. Your clothes crumpled around your body and hair tossed in every direction. You want nothing more then to peel away your own skin.
Something was in your water. She blamed it in chemicals or something, but the more you drank it the thirstier you became. Having downed the whole bottle in five minutes.
The dizziness set in after that. Body now lax and head foggy.
Charles had picked up in your now rather sick complexion and suggested you watch from his room in the motor home. An offer you gratefully took.
Right before the race, someone came to the door and opened it without knocking. A stranger in red who’s face you can’t make out.
Your phone had been buzzing nonstop with texts from your family about her location. Texts you didn’t answer. Limbs to heavy to reach for the phone.
One thing stuck in your mind is what Max is going to think of you now. You’d only been dating for a year. Would he look at you with pity in his eyes? Wonder why you didn’t fight back?
It was funny how you and Max came to be. Much if it having to do with Charles being sick of you two making heart eyes at each other growing up. He’d went as far as to throwing you in Max’s driver room and telling the two of you to confess.
Needless to say it worked.
The hours seem to drag on. Your phone still buzzing. You want to answer but you can barely move. The vertigo no letting you move further then an inch at a time.
Charles is the first to find you. Though you don’t know it’s him. The voice at the door sounds like it’s underwater and your brain can’t make out his face. For a minute, you panic. Charles’ hands are on you, trying to get you off the floor but your wailing at him to stop. Slurred words that he can’t understand fall from your mouth.
Charles can barely get close to you. So he switches tactics. Your family meets him at the door and takes one look at you. Immediately, your moth has a sense she knows what happened.
She’s so gentle. Careful not to touch you and she examines your face. She knows she’s going to have to get you to a doctor. That’s a given. However, she doesn’t know how to do so when you keep flinching at all your brothers who are wearing Ferrari red.
For now, she tries to get water down your throat.
~
The Leclerc’s find themselves waiting at the hospital. The best news being that you weren’t overdosed, but definitely close to it.
Charles is pacing furiously. Angry that the security around the paddock didn’t see anything strange. Arthur is trying to piece together how it could have happened and Lorenzo has been stringing together angry sentences in French over the phone.
It all comes to a halt when Max comes barreling through the door. He looks scared. Charles had called him to tell them where they were but had given him no details.
“What happened?”
~
Everything feels wrong. Your throat is sore. Your head hurts. Your muscles ache. Thoughts seem to be stuck somewhere.
It all comes rushing back as you remember what happened earlier that day. The room is dark, so you assume she slept for a while, but you can’t get her heart to slow down.
Max is stroking your hand gently. His eyes are sad and you can tell he's been stressed. "Nobody is telling me what happened. They said it should be you."
Some part of you is relieved, and the other is wracked with guilt.
"We don't have to talk about it now if you don't want to." He's still running his fingers along her arms.
"He was wearing red." Your nails start clawing at your skin.
It clicks and he's angry.
~
It's been a month and a half.
It's a slow process of getting out again.
Max refuses to leave you alone because you've been sinking further into herself. Then you're always around people. Out in the open. Stuck to someone you trust.
This morning is spent at home in bed. Max's arm tucked gently around around your waist, pulling you further into him.
It's the overwhelming feeling of nausea that has you diving out of bed and into the bathroom. Her stomach contents now not wanting to be in her body.
Max feels her panic and runs after you, trying his best to shake the sleep from his eyes. As soon as he figures out what's happening, he's holding her hair back and rubbing comforting circles on her back.
~
You clutche the pregnancy test in your hands. It makes her sick again. Five positives and a single negative. Three different brands.
Just when you feel you're getting better, now you have to tell everyone you're pregnant, and it's not Max's. Sobs overcame you before you can get up from where you sunk down to the floor.
Max finds you hours later, still on the floor looking and the blue lines.
"I'm so sorry."
"Nothing to apolize for, lovely. Just know I'll support you on whatever decision you make."
~
It's not an easy decision to keep the baby, but she can't see herself parting with them.
The sucky part is knowing that the biological father is still in the Ferrari garage somewhere. Charles, despite his best efforts, could not catch him. He must be some really nice guy that everyone likes. It's always the to nice ones that end up being evil on the inside.
Max has decided he'll take the role of father if you let him. He's been attentive. Making sure your every need is taken care of.
He's also still looking for the man who decided to take something that wasn't his. He's in the Ferrari paddock or hanging around the garage with Charles to see if anyone even looks at you funny.
~
Eight months in, and you're exhausted. Your mom has been staying with you while Max is traveling for races. He calls every chance he gets to check in on you.
Carlos has been sending you videos of why he is going to be a better uncle than Lando. Then Lando goes and brings you food and baby things to prove him wrong.
It's night, and you're tucked into bed, wishing Max were here cuddle with you. Then, the sensation of water leaking down your legs makes you call for your mother.
You stay calm while she drives to the hospital. You were expected to carry to full term. Neither of you expected the baby to come a month early.
You're calling Max repeatedly. The time difference puts him at prime sleep time.
Eventually he answers.
He's on the next flight home.
~
You waited as long as possible. Max had gotten there in the nick of time. He held your hand the entire time.
You were in labor for over a day. The pain getting unbearable at times.
When you finished, you were holding a healthy baby girl.
~
Isabella is your everything. Practically attached to your hip. She took more of your traits than you were expecting. Something that you're grateful for.
Your brothers spoil her to peices. Charles rarely says no to her, Lorenzo loves to show her how to boss the other two around, and Arthur has expanded her vocabulary is ways that are less then ideal.
Oscar was probably the most reliable to leave her with if Max or your brother aren't available. Having sisters comes in handy when he's combing through her hair. She falls asleep in his lap during almost every race weekend at some point.
Her favorite place is either on top of Landos shoulders or in Max's arms.
Max treats her like his own. He's said she's his daughter on multiple occasions. It was nice like this. Creating your own little family.
~
It takes two years after she's born for someone at Ferrari to ask you about her. Personal questions that were starting to make you uncomfortable.
Memories you'd locked away quickly find themselves flooding into your brain. Why is he so familiar?
You're outside the paddock, thankfully. People are within view.
"I want my daughter." He rasps. He is very much in your face now and You can feel his breath sticking to your face.
Your brain and chest short circuit. You send a silent prayer to whoever is listening that someone comes to save you. Thankful at yourself for leaving Isabella with Lando and Oscar.
Max had managed to catch a break and was on his way to find you. A small hop in his step at the thought of finding you and the little girl.
He freezes as he comes around the corner. His legs are carrying him faster than his mind can think. Max's hand finds his shoulder, effectively shoving the man away from you.
It takes everything in you not to fall into him as he slides in front of you protectively.
Your quick to take the opportunity to text someone to come help. Your definitely not strong enough to break them up if this gets physical and you don’t want to risk Max getting in trouble.
It's not long until Charles is barreling around the corner. Lando and Oscar close on his heels.
"You're trying to take away something that's rightfully mine." His voice is scratchy and angry, dripping with venom.
"Just like you took someone's body? I'm pretty sure taking a child is kidnapping." Max is practically growling.
Lorenzo comes running around the corner, Isabella running around the corner away from him and straight to you.
She's too far gone to stop. You lean down and scoop her up in your arms. Holding her head into her shoulder.
Max is still in front of you and her protectively. "You messed up, and now you're missing out." He spits.
Security is able to pull the Ferrari man away. Much to your relief because Charles was getting ready to swing.
You break in Max's arms once he's gone. Isabella is confused at the sadness but is still trying to cheer you up.
Max just holds you. Both of you.
"It's okay now, I'll always keep you safe."

The Night We Met (forget me not)
Author: orshii
Pairing: Kim Hongjoong x female reader

Word count: 8,7 k
Trope: strangers to lovers
Summary: Kim Hongjoong lived anything but a normal life, his enigmatic presence shrouded in mystery. You were drawn to him when you met him on a strange, rainy night, soaked and with nowhere to go. Despite his guarded nature, a connection formed between you, fueled by curiosity and the allure of the unknown. What will happen when one night he comes home bleeding? Will you unravel the truth behind Hongjoong's enigmatic existence, or will the dangers lurking in the shadows consume you both?
A/N: Since I am very obsessed with red-haired Hongjoong because, he killed me at Coachella bfr, I just felt the urge to write something with him, so this happened. It ended up a little angsty, sorry not sorry, I love writing angst tbh lol. So enjoy the ride, I guess. xoxo, orshii. (also, sorry if there are mistakes :'( ) (divider) horanghae tho
The swaying bodies around me tortured me, I felt like I couldn't breathe as all I could see was him, speaking, and shouting over the loud music, that made my heart break with every strong beat. I couldn't hear the music, all I could hear was the words that came out of his mouth. 'You are sick', 'I'm tired of your shit', 'You'll never be good enough' and it went on and on, these words were the only thing I could hear, I breathed them in and it went straight into my heart, breaking it into thousands of pieces, as nothing remained there only little powerless specks of dust.
He kept on going, glaring at me like I was a wet stray dog on the street. His eyes were full of hatred, the man with whom I fell in love, made me feel special and made me feel good enough, now did the whole opposite of these things, and made me believe I was a fucking nobody. After a little time, as he still spat the most hurtful words out of his mouth, I could see everything in slow motion, the way he spoke and he was angrily shouting at me, his spit landing on my face as he spoke, the dancing bodies around us pushing closer to him, even tho I wanted the opposite. No one really noticed that I was on the verge of breaking down right there, as I barely could breathe. My brain closed him out, I was just staring at him and wondered, where that sweet guy that I fell in love with had gone. Suddenly I felt empty, nothing was on my mind, all I knew was that I wanted to disappear from the world, especially I wanted to get away from him as far as possible. So, whilst he was speaking, suddenly I turned my back without a word and started to somehow push myself out from the bodies that surrounded me.
I felt weak as I bumped into random people, they pushed me from left to right as I barely had any strength. It felt like ages until somehow I could fight myself through the strange bodies. I stepped out of the club into the cold night. I was just standing in front of the exit and closed my eyes shut, I just needed some fresh air, but it couldn't reach my lungs for some reason.
Suddenly I felt something wet and cold landing on my face, followed by a lot of cold drops. I opened my eyes and looked up at the sky, as it started to rain very strongly, immediately wetting my face, and my hair as I suddenly could breathe. It felt like the rain was caressing my face, that felt like invisible hands, cupping my cheeks, wetting my lips, the wet drops dropping down to my chest that melted right into my heart, giving some reassuring feeling. I closed my eyes again holding my head up against the sky, letting the raindrops wet my brain as it kind of brought me back to life and made me realize what just happened, I breathed in as I felt the cold air getting into my lungs slowly, making my body tremble.
That was the exact moment when I broke down. I couldn't hold it any longer, as all the emotions that I cut off when I was in front of him, not letting him see me break, now shuttered into pieces, my breathing got heavy, as I hunched over my knees, and tears suddenly blinding me as I was staring at the wet ground. I was sobbing, tears fell into the wet ground disappearing like it wasn't even there, now I looked like a wet stray dog, that had nowhere to go.
"Everything's alright?" Suddenly I heard a strange voice behind me. After a few deep breaths I tried to calm down, I straightened up and turned around. Just to see a man leaning against the club's brick wall, one of his legs propped on the wall. His clothes were soaked just like mine, as he was holding a cigarette between his thin pierced lips, which were long burned out from the rain, his wet hair that strangely looked like the shade of a deep red that looked like fresh blood, his wet hair would've fallen into his forehead if it wasn't for the black sunglasses that were pushed up to the top of his head, making his forehead free from his hair. He looked at me curiously, eyeing me up and down with a look I couldn't entirely read. Maybe he seemed a little concerned. But that thought immediately made me forget that, when I saw the confident smirk on his face. Just another asshole in this world, that looked at me like I was a nobody.
"Yeah," I said after what felt like an eternity, somehow I almost forgot why I was standing in the rain and cried myself almost to death. I locked my eyes with him, he really didn't seem bothered by the rain pouring at us unstoppably. I wasn't in the mood to chit-chat with a stranger so I turned to get the hell out of there. I did not know where I could go, but I knew that I needed to go somewhere, far away from here.
"It didn't seem like it, sweetheart." He shouted after me, his voice melting with the rain that was falling on us.
"It's none of your business." I turned around to look at him as I shrugged.
Then he pushed himself off the wall and walked towards me, throwing the wet cigarette to the wet floor. I barely saw him because of the rain, but as he closed the distance suddenly all I could see was his face being close to mine. I could see as raindrops dropped from his hair, the water on his veiny neck flew down in red strings, as I assume he died his hair red recently, the wet drops fell from his thin lips as he looked down at me.
"My heart can't take as little girls like you cry in the rain." He slowly reached his hand towards my head and tugged my hair behind my ear. My eyes unconsciously fell on his pierced lips that were so close to mine, that if I had leaned in a little, it could meet his.
I snapped his hands away from my face, and my sanity came back, I couldn't believe there weren't any normal people on earth that couldn't deal with their fucking problems.
He chuckled at my movement. "Why are you so mean, sweetheart?" His smirk still did not disappear.
"Do I look like someone who would let a stranger touch me? And don't call me sweetheart!” I said to him getting angrier. “Oh my God, what did I do to the world." I cried out in disbelief looking up to the sky. I was so soaked, but at that point, I didn’t really feel that I was all wet.
Then suddenly I was sitting in the stranger's car, -whose name was Hongjoong apparently- all soaked, wetting the luxurious car's seating, which was a beautiful raven-black Maserati. I looked at my left side, Hongjoong's side profile on the sight, his undercut showing with the sunglass still being pushed back, which highlighted his sharp jawline. The dye on his neck now dried leaving red marks there. He was a very handsome and apparently a rich stranger. I have no idea why was I even in his car, as we were heading toward his apartment. Because I had nowhere to go.
Long story short, I kind of told him everything about what happened on this tragic night with my life. My ex dumped me because he thought I was cheating on him, the reality was that he was cheating on me and he just blamed it all on me, saying I was the problem as I couldn't keep him excited so he needed to try if someone else could. What kind of bullshit is that?
I was living with him, my parents were far away on another continent, I moved here because of my, well, now ex, and started to work at a random café, just so that I could start a painting course, as my biggest dream to achieve was to be a known painter. I wanted to organize exhibitions where I could put my paintings out, to show them to the world, to show my emotions through the paintings, so other people might feel the same, and share common feelings.
Painting was the only thing that understood me. When I was painting I felt like it was my therapy, the way I traced the brush on the canvas, with different kinds of colors. I always painted my emotions on the white canvas, which in the end, always ended dark, full of black and red colors. As those were the representations of my emotions. I felt pain, just as the word painting symbolized my whole being. But there were times, very rarely, when I painted a whole rainbow on the canvas, as something good happened that day. It was always personal, I wasn't the kind of person, who painted lands and random vases with fruits next to them. I just painted what I felt, it always came out like a mess, like chaos, but there was something beautiful in it, something special.
I always felt vulnerable when I showed it to people, but in the end, it's only me who knows what it is about. People only see random colors and shapes, that are a little grotesque, some of them are amazed by, how artistic it is, but some of them are just looking at it frowning, as they only see a splash of colors, saying 'I could do that easily, it's only a bunch of colors poured right there'. It is hurtful hearing things like that when it's my emotions that are painted there in a physical form. But I think it is only you, yourself, who can understand the struggles you are going through.
So as I was dumped by my ex, I remained alone. I was kind of new in the town and I didn't know anyone besides him and a bunch of his ass friends. I had nowhere to go, as I didn’t want to see his face anymore.
Hongjoong…kind of made me tell him these things, and he offered I can stay at his place, while I figure out what can I do in the future. The rain stopped after a while as we sat in his car and I told him all these things like I had known him for ages, he was listening to me and I could see on his face he cared for some questionable reasons. I had no idea why he offered this in the first place, and I had no idea why the hell did I agree. Even tho he seemed like an asshole for the first seeing, when he genuinely asked me what was the problem, I kind of felt like I can tell him anything I want and I kind of blame it on my fucked up day and on the fact that I was tired, I was tired of people, whom I always wanted to be good enough, but I just failed all the time. And now, it seemed I could trust in a stranger more than everybody.
As soon as we arrived at his apartment, which was a penthouse, my jaw was on the floor when I looked around. Everything was luxurious, most of the furniture was surprisingly black, with a hint of dark red, just like his car and his hair. It really did suit him. I had no idea who this man was, but I am sure he was rich as hell.
After Hongjoong showed me the guest room and gave me clothes that I could change into, he left me alone so I could shower. In the bathroom, I still couldn’t comprehend where I was and what exactly happened. It only came in a big flow when I managed to lay down into the big king-sized bed, that was so soft I felt like I was going to disappear into it.
I was laying on my right side and hugged my knees to my chest, just so I could hug something, something that gave me enough comfort, whispering to myself everything is going to be alright, as I finally managed to fall asleep with tears flowing down my face.
The next few weeks went by just like seconds, my only escape was work and painting as it mostly occupied my mind. Hoshi, my ex, tried to talk to me a few times after work when I was closing up, but Hongjoong always came to pick me up, after the first time he heard my ex was there.
It was really odd, the way he was acting, acting like he wanted to protect me from the world, even tho he didn't know me. And I didn't know him either, but as we spent these few days together, we kind of grew closer to each other, I felt like he became a person whom I could rely on.
I needed to figure out what to do next, because I did not want to bother Hongjoong with my poor ass, living in his penthouse like a princess, as he did not accept any money for the rent. Even tho I barely had money, I still wanted to make it up to him, so instead of money, I decided to clean the flat when I had the time and to cook for him some delicious meals, like a freaking maid, but quid pro quo.
I'm not going to say that Hongjoong didn’t act suspiciously from time to time. Because that would be a lie. The times when he suddenly came into the apartment with blood on his face and slight stabs on his body, painting his body red here and there, made me realize he was into some dangerous games. Luckily I learned how to stitch wounds when I was in high school, as back then I wanted to be a doctor, not until I found painting.
It was again a rainy dark night when the front door closed with a loud thump. I ran out to the living room, where the storm outside lightened it up in slow-motion, just to see a collapsed Hongjoong on the floor. The white carpet under him was now full of blood, that looked like the color of his hair. My heart started to race, as I hurried next to him.
"Hongjoong!" I kneeled next to him, just to cup his face and check his heartbeat. It was still beating but very weekly. I was so scared he might die in my arms.
"Sweetheart" He mumbled faintly, reaching his hands to my wrists that held his face. He was looking up at me with desperate eyes, almost begging me to save him.
He did come back with some stitches here and there, but this was much deeper. As I slowly reached my hands towards his wet white T-shirt that was mixed with rain and blood, I lifted it very slowly, he winced at that painfully.
I let out a quiet gasp when I saw the wound, it was a bullet lodging into his abdomen. Tears started to flow down my face, as I tried to think, about what to do now.
"I'm going to call an ambulance!" I wanted to stand up, to get my phone, but Hongjoong suddenly grabbed my wrist.
"You can't, you have to do it yourself, sweetheart." His voice still came out weak, like he was breathing his last breaths.
"But the bullet is too deep, I can't-" I started to breathe heavily, as I ran my fingers through my hair, squeezing it, as I started to panic. His life depended on me. "I can't do this Hongjoong." I sobbed.
"Come here." As I leaned closer to him, he caressed my cheeks, wiped my tears away with his weak thumb, and looked at me like he had given his life into my hands, and that was literally the case. "You can do it, I trust you, sweetheart." He whispered, weekly, as his hand suddenly dropped to the floor weekly and his eyes closed.
He was unconscious. I needed to put myself together and save the life of the man who saved mine.
The next hours were full of me trying to get the bullet out somehow, I needed every kind of knowledge I learned in the past. Everything was full of blood, the carpet, my hands, my clothes, but all I could concentrate on was to clean the wound, get the bullet out, stitch it carefully, and hope that he did not die. After I finished and his heart was still beating somehow I felt relief going through my body. His body just needed some rest, so it could function again.
When I cleaned up and somehow with all my strength, I managed to lift him to the grey couch and put a warm blanket on him, as he was sweating like crazy because he had a fever. I kneeled next to the couch pressing a wet cloth to his forehead hoping his fever was going to drop. He was fighting for his life and I was praying he could make it alive, as I finally gave in to the dark that swallowed me completely.
I was dreaming of some dark figures that were chasing after me, and then I suddenly found myself on a field, where I saw a red-haired man's back facing me, he was standing between the colorful flowers. Then he suddenly turned and I saw Hongjoong's beautiful smile as he was calling me to follow him.
I felt as if someone pushed me weakly, a voice calling me. Sweetheart. Only one person calls me like that. I quickly came to my senses and lifted my head from the couch I was still kneeling beside it, my limbs numb I barely could move, but the only person that mattered was Hongjoong.
"Hey," I smiled at the survivor, as he was looking at me weekly, his mouth dry.
"Hi", his lips cornered up with a weak attempt.
"How are you feeling?" I scooted upper, so I could caress his face with my thumb.
"Better." He whispered, with a dry throat. As I noticed, I quickly went to pour water into a glass and took some painkillers to give it to him.
"Here, drink some." I slowly helped him up as he was wincing from the pain. I reached the pills to his mouth waiting for him to open it and then the glass so he could drink. After a few gulps from the water, he closed his eyes.
"Thank you, Y/N! You saved my life, I knew you could do it." He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me gratefully.
"Even tho, it was a very bad call from you…You could've died Hongjoong…" Tears started to appear in my eyes as I looked down at my hands.
"But I'm alive…thanks to you, sweetheart. Come here." He took my hands and slowly pulled me closer to him, as he laid down, leaving space for me beside him.
"I don’t want to hurt you." I hesitated a little.
"You won’t hurt me." His thumb traced my cheek and looked at me with affectionate eyes. At that I slowly laid next to him on my side, trying not to be too close to his wound. I was looking at him, and as he did the same, I saw his eyelids were closing, but he forced them open, so he could pull me closer to him by my waist. His face was inches apart from mine. I felt his hot breath on my lips, as he slowly ghosted over mine.
"Kiss me so I won't feel the pain." He whispered the words into my lips, his lips almost touching mine, I could feel his cold piercing on his lips. My heart was racing like crazy. Suddenly all my thoughts were gone, gone into the cold rainy night, as he pressed his lips against mine weekly, giving me control, so I could lead him out of the pain and he wouldn't feel anything. All I wanted to do was to take his pain away, to swallow it, so I could feel it instead of him. My lips moved against his slowly, very patiently, making him forget that he was in pain. He grabbed my waist and pulled me even closer to him, with his remaining strength. But he moaned into my lips from the pain that the movement caused. I wanted to separate from him to make sure he was okay. But he did not let me, he reached his hands to my nape and pulled me closer, suddenly getting some strength from who knows where, as I let him control the kiss again. It started to get more heated, as I separated from him, because of the lack of oxygen.
I looked at him like I couldn't believe he was right there, in pain but still kissing me.
"Sleep now, honey." I whispered at his lips, pecking them again, then moving to his sharp cheekbone, to his nose, then lastly I left feather-like kisses on his eyelids that were already closed, falling into a deep healing sleep.
After a few days of nursing Hongjoong, I was heading back from the grocery store to Hongjoong's apartment. His wound was healing perfectly, it just needed a little more time. He was only able to walk from his room to the balcony to smoke a pack of cigarettes. I asked a lot of times, what had happened, and who did that to him, but he always ignored me or changed the topic. After all, I was just a stranger to him, and he took me in because I was all soaked and I had nowhere to go. Even tho we kissed, that seemed like a fever dream.
But still, he was so protective of me, he did not let me go anywhere alone, and his friends lifted me to work and back, I didn’t even have the opportunity to paint as the painting courses were late at night, and he did not let me outside for some weird reason. He even insisted he was coming with me to the store that was just a few blocks away from his apartment, but I convinced him that it wasn't that far and I was going to be quick.
I was only one block away from the penthouse when suddenly all I could feel was cold hands around my throat and something cold being pressed against my temple. My back was pushed against a wall with an impact, I saw black points as I closed my eyes.
"Where is Captain?" The man who pressed me against the wall forcefully hissed through his yellow teeth.
His hand squeezed my throat with more force. Even if I wanted to talk, words just couldn't leave my mouth as the air was knocked out of my lungs, and my sight started to blur.
"I asked, where is Captain? I am sure you know it, little slut." He shouted at my face, spit landing on my face, as I closed my eyes, trying to scrape his hand off my throat. He pressed the cold thing harder against my temple, it was a gun. I didn't know who Captain was, but I had a very little clue, of who it could be.
The man was on the verge of hitting me with the handle of the gun when suddenly I felt the air getting into my lungs as the man was pushed off me. I hunched over trying to get some air into my lungs as I desperately needed it. My throat felt soar, my heart was pumping like it wanted to jump out from my chest, and I felt the urge to take my hands to my chest just to prevent it from jumping out. I couldn't catch up with the noises that were around me, some shouting and groaning noises that screamed pain. Then suddenly silence came. I slowly straightened up as I finally came to my senses, and tried to get what was happening. I didn't even realize the fact that a gun was pressed against my head, I didn't even realize I could've died. Our mind is a tricky thing, sometimes it is helpful, and sometimes it's our biggest enemy. But for my luck, as I straightened, I saw Yunho in front of me, one of Hongjoong's friends, who picked me up from work a few times. He was a tall, black-haired man, with a well-defined body, who looked intimidating at first, but after a few times as we always chatted the way home, it turned out, he was the sweetest guy ever, full of golden retriever energy.
"Are you okay?" Yunho came closer to me and carefully put his hands on my shoulders, looking at me with concerned eyes. That was the time when I looked down at his hands, that was all bloody, his knuckles full with stitches, then I averted my gaze to his face, which was all beaten up, his lips also bleeding, a cut on his cheekbone. Then I looked down next to us, where four men were laying unconscious, it was a slow process until I somehow put the puzzle together. He knocked out four men with his bare hands only.
"Yeah, I'm okay." I said quietly, my mind full of questions. "Who were they? They asked about someone called… Captain? Is that Hongjoong?"
Yunho's eyes were full of pity. "I'm sorry, Y/N, it isn’t me who should tell you these things." He turned around and went to his black Jeep, which was hurriedly parked on the sidewalk. "Let's get you back to Hongjoong." He said tilting his head a little.
I went to the car and sat in the passenger seat. "How did you know I was in trouble?" My voice felt sour a little, as I still felt the hand around my throat.
"Hongjoong told me to follow you, in case something would happen." He said, not even daring to look at me.
I scoffed at that and remained silent. I didn't know what the hell was happening. Is it normal to send someone so he can watch over you? Is it normal in Kim Hongjoong's life to be attacked? It was, based on the bullet that almost sent him to the other world and me, almost. Kim Hongjoong lived anything but a normal life.
Immediately as I closed the front door, Hongjoong hurried in front of me, pain running through his features that disappeared immediately when he saw me. He quickly came closer to me, worry taking over his painful features. He was eyeing me up and down searching for any injuries. Hongjoong cupped my cheeks and lifted my head.
"Fuck, Y/N, did you get injured?" He traced his right hand through my throat which was red from the choking. I just shook my head as a no, I was glaring at him, analyzing his features that changed between so many emotions, as his gaze remained at my throat, just to finally meet my glare.
"I told you not to go alone, for fuck's sake, Y/N!" He stepped away from me ran his finger through his red hair and squeezed it.
"Did you know someone would attack me? Hongjoong tell me something 'cause I have no idea what is happening." I looked at him with desperate eyes, trying to convince him, that he could tell me anything.
"No, I didn't know, but I felt it was going to happen." He turned his back to me and started to walk up and down in the living room. Then he stopped in front of the big window, where you could see the whole town, being busy, everyone living their normal life. He buried his hands into his face. I could see that his thoughts were screaming at him. A few minutes of silence fell between us. I was just waiting for him to collect his thoughts.
"You have to move out." His voice came out low, I barely could understand it. He didn’t even look at me, he was staring down at the city buried in mist.
My heart started to race, I knew, I knew I needed to move out at some point as I couldn't live here forever. But…it felt weird, months of being here, getting used to each other in ups and downs. And this coming from his mouth, I don't know why…but it hurt.
"Joong…" I stepped closer to him, slowly approaching him. "At least tell me what is going on. They asked about some Captain…is that you?" He was still standing in front of the window, his side profile was sharp, and his red hair seemed brighter as the sun was shining at him, giving it a little shade of orange, he was frowning as he was still thinking. But when he turned, all the emotions were gone from his features, I couldn't see any signs of the prior emotions that were running through his face.
He was glaring at me sharply very determined. "They are going to hurt you if you stay with me, just pack your things and I'll take you somewhere." He said with a commanding voice, that shouted he did not accept no as an answer. I was just looking at him, making sure he really meant it, but he held my gaze without blinking. Tears started to appear in my eyes from all the sudden emotions and from the thoughts of being alone again. I couldn't do anything other than to obey him.
After I quietly packed my things into a bag, this was all I had, I could pack my whole life into a black dirty bag. This bag was by my side all the time, not like the people, who always left me.
The ride to the place Hongjoong was driving us, was quiet. The sun hid behind the big, angry clouds and slowly raindrops started to drop at the windshield. I just leaned my head against the window and stared at the raindrops that were racing against each other on the glass. My mind was empty, I couldn't think. I felt Hongjoong's eyes on me at times, but I just couldn't look at him, because I felt like I might break then.
When we arrived and went up to the apartment that was also Hongjoong's, I stood in the living room and dropped the beg from my hand as I looked around. It was smaller than the penthouse, it was just an ordinary flat, with white furniture, as you stepped in, the living room was an open area with a kitchen. I saw two doors that I assumed were the bedroom and the bathroom. It was small and cozy, but I'm not sure if it will stay like that when I'm going to be left alone with my thoughts. I felt his gaze on my back and I turned around, finally looking into his eyes. Tears immediately started to appear in my eyes, I knew it was a goodbye, and I hated goodbyes. He slowly approached me, his eyes never leaving mine. His hands traced over my cheekbones, wiping the tear away that escaped along the way, then he traced his thumb over my lips, carefully as he was afraid he might break me. But it was too late cause I was already broken.
He slowly replaced his thumb with his thin lips, the piercing on his lips cutting my lips, the stinging racing down to my heart, he cupped my face and pulled me into a passionate kiss, that screamed, it was good 'til it lasted. Tears fell onto my face, falling on our lips as I felt the salty taste. He moved his lips against mine as he wanted to endure this moment for the rest of his life. My heart was aching, I felt like a knife was stabbed directly into my heart.
"You have to forget me, sweetheart." He whispered painfully onto my lips, as he leaned his forehead against mine, his words twisting the knife in my heart.
"But I don't want to." I shook my head, grabbing his wrists that still held my face. The tears never stopped rolling down my face.
"You have to, you are capable of anything, my heart." His eyes were full of adoration, that I never saw in his eyes, caressing my cheeks for the last time as he stepped away from me.
I shook my head as I cried out, I felt like my heart was going to stop at any time. "No, don't leave me Hongjoong…" My voice came out weak, it was barely audible as my crying got worse.
But all he did was turn around, without any emotion. "Goodbye, sweetheart!" and I was left alone again.
My legs gave up and I fell on the ground as I pressed my hands to my mouth just to somehow calm myself down. After all, he was just someone, who helped me out when needed. In these few months, I felt like finally I was heading in the right direction, I felt like I was finally stepping on the right road toward my dreams. Being with Hongjoong made me realize, that everyone deserves someone, who can support them, who can be by their side and give them some bits of advice, to keep them going. But destiny said, no, and I needed to move forward. My life was a never-ending circle, I always found someone who I trusted but eventually, they just treated me like I was some garbage. In the end, I was always alone, being left alone with my bag, to go somewhere else.
The next few weeks were all about painting. When I felt down, I always escaped into painting. At first, I was just staring into the white canvas in the building where the painting courses were held, I wanted to paint, but I didn't feel anything at all. I thought I was going to paint all the existing canvases in the world based on the emotions that I felt. But, when I found myself sitting in front of a big white canvas, I felt empty. I felt like I was there but at the same time, my mind was elsewhere.
As I closed my eyes, the dream that I dreamed the night when Hongjoong collapsed on the floor with a bullet in him, jumped in front of me. I saw his face, his smile that was rare to see. The warm breeze blew on his hair, lifting his red hair from his forehead. I saw him again in slow-motion as he turned around just to look into his eyes, he lifted his hand, inviting me to go with him. As I slowly approached him and reached my hands to take it, he disappeared.
I opened my eyes as I found myself in reality, facing with the white canvas and I saw an image on it, a face. I lifted my brush to the colors that were laid out in front of me and pushed it into the red color, just to lift it in front of the canvas. I drew one line with the red color and it was the most beautiful thing I saw in my life. The way it excelled on the white canvas fascinated me, it was a deep shade of red, that reminded me of Hongjoong's red hair, but then the blood that was all over the place that night. I kept drawing on the canvas, tracing the brush in shapes, switching between colors as my mind finally felt at ease. I never felt more calmer than now, as I didn't even realize what I was painting. I closed the world out and continued to paint the picture I was imagining in my head.
Who knows how much time went by, I didn't want to stop for even a moment, as I was desperate to finish this work, the work that brought me peace, that calmed my racing thoughts, that made me feel like I wasn't alone. I painted the last remaining white spot on the canvas with black and then I put my brush down, just to see the outcome. I inhaled through my mouth deeply, as I felt this was the first time I breathed through the whole painting.
The outcome was nothing compared to my recent paintings. It wasn't some random colors mixed, that had no shape at all.
It showed a scene, a scene that I saw with my own eyes. And it was the night I met with him. The background was all black, with different shades and a figure was leaning against the black wall, his right leg propped up to the wall, the cigarette lazily hanging from his pierced thin lips. His red hair was all wet from the rain that fell on him, it was pushed back with a black sunglass. The red dye was leaving red strings on his face, on his veiny neck. His black clothes were all soaked, and still, he was staring at me with eyes that screamed understanding, that was full of worry.
I never painted things like these, things that made sense, well not for others. It made me believe that Hongjoong started something in me, that I had never imagined I had.
The doorbell suddenly rang just after I arrived home after a tiring day at work. I changed into comfortable clothes, wearing a black hoodie and grey sweatpants. I wanted to make some dinner for myself when I heard the sound of the doorbell. I frowned, I really didn't know anyone here, maybe the neighbor came to welcome me.
I went to the door a little hesitantly, then unlocked it and when I opened it, I froze. It was Hoshi, my ex, glaring at me with his typical sharp eyes, that always reminded me of a tiger. His platinum blonde hair was always shaped perfectly, it was similar to a buzz cut, two straight strings falling close to his eyes, which made his gaze and features even sharper. He was always wearing punk clothes, with a lot of silver accessories.
"What are you doing here?" I asked when I finally found my voice. I needed all my confidence.
"Hi, baby." He smirked at me and just pushed me away to get into the apartment, letting himself inside.
"What the fuck are you doing here, Hoshi?" I was amazed by his behavior, he acted casually, went to my kitchen, poured some water for himself, making himself at home.
"Can't I just see my girl?" He turned and leaned against the counter with the glass of water, eyeing me up and down like a predator.
"Fuck you Hoshi! Don't tell me bullshit. Just tell me why are you here!" I lifted my voice up, it sounded angrier as I couldn't believe this man.
"Woah, easy, girl." He put the glass on the counter, just to come closer to where I was standing. "I just came to apologize." He reached his hands towards my waist, but I immediately stepped away from him. I saw that he needed to hold back himself from doing something wrong at that moment. "Okay." He lifted his hands to the air. "I just wanted to say that I feel bad about how I behaved at the club, you disappeared, Y/N. I didn't know where have you gone." His voice came out a little trembled, and his eyes were full of worry, but I knew it was just an act, an act so I will go back to him. I didn't say anything, but he didn't even let me when he continued.
"But I found out you were with that fucking red-haired shorty." His features suddenly changed from worried to angry. I had never seen him like this, it scared me.
He slowly came closer to me, just like a tiger that approached its prey. "Had fun fucking around with the Captain?" He looked like a psycho as he asked.
My heart rate picked up as I stepped back, just until my back hit the wall behind me. "How do you know him?"
As he was inches apart from me, he slowly reached his right hand towards my chest and traced his fingers on my skin, up to my neck, his gaze on his fingers. My chest was rising as shivers ran through my body, but these weren't the good types of shivers, it was because I felt terrified.
"Oh, you don't know a lot, babe." His fingers slowly traced up to my jaw and cheekbones. All I wanted to do was to run away from him. I felt disgusted, but he caged me against the wall, I had no chance.
"Then tell me." My voice came out rough, as I wanted to convince him I wasn't afraid of him.
"Well, that little redhead, is a fucking mafia leader. I didn't know you were into mafia gangs." He stepped away from me, as I finally could let out a sigh. "Stupid, Hoshi." He hit his forehead, with a psychotic smile. "If I would've known, I would've told you that I'm a mafia leader as well. Then you wouldn’t have run away." He approached me again, pushing me up against the wall. His face was inches apart from mine. I couldn't believe what he said. There was no fucking way I managed to catch both the town's mafia leaders. What happened with my life?
I scoffed at that, it was a joke. "You? As a mafia leader, you are funny Hoshi." I laughed into his face, as he got more annoyed.
"Did you have fun, when I sent my gang to threaten you so you will tell them where that fucker is?" He whispered it close to my face, his fingers crawling around my throat and squeezing it. My eyes rounded immediately, as my hands automatically tried to tear his hands off. "You had to fuck my only enemy that existed? I hate him, he destroyed my life, he took everything away." He hissed through his teeth.
"I'm asking again, nicely, Y/N. Where - is - he?" He squeezed his fingers more around my throat, as tears fell on my face, blurring my vision.
"Wh-where is that H-Hoshi I loved…" My voice came out weak, as I slowly saw black dots in my vision that were already blurred.
"He never existed." And with that, he squeezed my throat harder, as I was in desperate need of air, but it never came.
I was on the verge of fainting when sudden noises came from the staircase. The door was suddenly slammed open with a loud thump, all I could hear was footsteps, and my vision went black.
Hoshi's hands were gone from my throat, and I fell to the ground, barely conscious. I heard loud noises that my brain couldn't comprehend, glass breaking, shouting and when I opened my eyes weakly, I saw red. My vision was blurry, but when it cleared out I saw him and I knew I was safe.
He was holding me in his warm arms on the floor, my body was shaking from the lack of oxygen and the overwhelming emotions. He hugged me, as I buried my face into his chest, inhaling his peaceful scent, which always calmed me down. He traced my back up and down and pecked the top of my head, my forehead.
"I'm so sorry, sweetheart for leaving you alone." His voice seemed like he was on the verge of breaking.
I slowly lifted my head up to look into his eyes, and I met with two eyes full of regretful tears. My tears started to flow down my face at that, as I started sobbing.
"Please, forgive me." He cupped my cheeks and wiped my tears away with his thumb. "Shh, don't cry please because my heart breaks. You are my heart, Y/N." He leaned his forehead against mine. I closed my eyes and breathed in and out, just to get myself together. This man in front of me, who was only a stranger to me, in a short time became the most important person in my life.
"Don't you ever dare, leaving me." I whispered after a few seconds that felt like ages.
He smiled in relief, his smile looked exactly like in my dream, his lips curved up, and his nose scrunched. "I am never going to leave you, sweetheart."
He slowly reached his hands under my knees, just to lift me from the ground, my hand immediately curled around his neck, as he brought me to the bedroom and carefully took me down to the bed. He crawled next to me as we were both on our sides, facing each other. He reached his hand towards my face and caressed it as if we were just looking at each other.
"This time that I spent without you was hell." he tugged my hair behind my ear as he said. "I realized I can't live without you, Y/N. I never felt like this before. I got scared when those bastards attacked you, and I never felt this scared before in my life. I thought if I keep you away from me they won't hurt you. Please, forgive me." Tears started to appear in his eyes, that screamed regret.
I took his hand from my face and lifted it to my mouth, to carefully peck his warm palm. "It's okay, Hongjoong, I get why you did it. But you could've at least told me who you were." I looked at him weakly, as I felt more and more tired.
"I know." He scooted closer to me, holding my waist as he pulled me closer to him. "I was just terrified if you find out, you will run away from me." He said with a low voice, leaning his forehead against mine.
"I never would've run away, don't you remember how many times I stitched you up?" I smiled at him.
He chuckled at that sweetly. "Yeah, that would've been enough reason for you to run. But for some reason, you didn't." He frowned at that.
"I just couldn't leave you, even tho you acted weird all the time, I felt like I needed to be by your side." I wanted to tell him that I was going to be by his side forever.
"I want you to be by my side, sweetheart. I never felt more at ease than I was when you were with me." His lisp was inches apart from mine, as he whispered. "Being with me is going to be dangerous, but I'm going to do everything to protect you." He said as he pressed his lips against mine, capturing it as I could slip through his holding. His fingers reached to my neck, to the back of my nape just to run his fingers through my hair, pulling me impossibly close to him. I kissed him back desperate, with passion I never felt in my life. I never wanted to break the kiss, that tasted like happiness, that whispered good promises for the future.
2 months later
"I want to show you something." Hongjoong hugged me from behind on the balcony where I was standing with a coffee mug in my hands. His hands crawled around my waist pulling me close to his chest, his head on my shoulder as we both were looking down to the busy town from his penthouse.
"What?" I asked with a genuine smile.
He pecked my neck sweetly before turning me around and taking my hands. "Come I'll show it to you." He was smiling at me like he seemed the happiest and most excited man on earth.
When we were in his black Maserati and I looked at him while driving, I could see that his smile never disappeared he was so excited for some reason and I started to get nervous as hell. After a fifteen-minute drive, we arrived somewhere. I didn't know about this side of the city. The streets were very artistic, with a lot of graffiti on some random walls, and artists were standing on the streets singing or painting. I looked around curious as I stepped out of the car. Hongjoong rounded the car and took my hand.
"Where are we Hongjoong?" I looked at him with a frown.
He just smiled at me, his perfect-white teeth showing. "I have to blindfold you, sweetheart. I don't want to expose the surprise." He took a silk blindfold from his pocket and chuckled as he saw my confused face.
"Just trust me, love." His voice came out low as he pecked my lips sweetly and blindfolded me.
He was leading me around, as I couldn't see anything. We went through a door, and the street's noise faded away. Our footsteps were echoing on the strange floor as we walked inside. Suddenly Hongjoong stopped me, as he turned me to face him. He reached his hands to unfold the silk material, as it slowly fell on the floor. My eyes followed how it fell on the floor, which was made out of brown marble. Then my gaze lifted, just look around where we were. My mouth fell open, it was a big and empty hall with big windows, where the light came inside, lighting the emptiness inside. The walls were all white, the ceiling was meters away from us, and it was huge.
"Why are we here?" I asked after my gaze fell on Hongjoong, who was looking at me the whole time.
He stepped closer to me, to hold my waist and pull me closer to him. His face was inches away. "This is your gallery where you can exhibit your paintings." He said with an excited smile, waiting for my reaction.
I pressed my hands to my mouth, my eyes rounded unbelievably "No way." Tears appeared in my eyes.
"Yes way, sweetheart." Hongjoong giggled seeing my reaction. "I want you to show the world how talented you are." He caressed my cheeks as he said with a sweet and proud look on his face.
I couldn't believe this. "Hongjoong…" tears started to fall to my cheeks, as I started to jump in excitement just to jump on Hongjoong who was taken aback by my sudden movement, but he caught me in time. He lifted me to spin us around as we both chuckled like two teenagers.
"Thank you so much Hongjoong." I whispered to his ear when he took me down and I buried my face to his chest. "I couldn't be grateful enough for making my dreams come true." I lifted my head to face him.
He was looking down at me with the proudest smile. "I'm happy I can be by your side while you achieve your dreams." He cupped my face and pecked my lips as I giggled.
"I love you, Hongjoong." I said looking up at him with teary eyes, as I never felt happier in my life.
"I love you more, sweetheart." And with that, he kissed me passionately like never before, his lips moved against mine slowly, as we were standing in the gallery that was going to hold all the emotions I felt in the past years, so I could finally let them go. And that one portrayal of Kim Hongjoong, that promised me a good future by his side.
The portrayal that showed the first time I saw him, the first time I fell in love with him, on the night we met.

just had to write this out of my brain, I'm sorry pierresteban lorekeepers if I have fucked up the dynamic, I'll go back to my corner at once
2k of post-Brazil stuff tentatively titled something like slow lane, fast lane, parallel lines
Pierre didn’t pack a podium-worthy outfit for the triple header. Certainly not for Brazil. A party outfit, sure, in case Charles did well – that’s still fucked, a crumpled bundle rank with sweat at the bottom of one of his cases, shipped back home without him two weeks ago after Austin. He hadn’t seen this coming.
No one had seen this coming.
He has to settle for a creased button up, undone so far the team will be able to see his heart still thudding against his ribs, hours after the last bubbles swirled away into the standing water on the track. It’ll do; he tries to smoulder into the mirror, but he can’t stop smiling. It’s just going to get soaked with sweat anyway, in whatever bar backroom they’ve secured. It was Harriet, he heard, shaking with hope from the moment the red flag came, ringing round Sao Paulo venues with broken Portuguese and her heart in her mouth.
It is strange, being alone for this clutch of minutes, to shower and shave and press cologne against his skin like anointing oil. The team had been all around him the moment he was out of the car, all the way to the hotel. Esteban next to him for hours, hip to hip. Pierre had been warm, despite the rain, the perpetual grey of track and sky.
The shirt is not so white that he’ll look filthy, later, if he’s touched. He undoes another button, just in case. Kiki said, once - if he won, and she wasn’t there. Then it was fine. She’d been joking, maybe, but he hadn’t pressed her. There are many beautiful men and women in Brazil.
He goes down to the lobby early, already sick of the quiet. He wants the roar back, the force of it against his skin. He wants hands on his back, fingers on his neck, in his hair. Three girls from the team are huddled waiting for a taxi, by the doors, but they hover six inches away now, like without their uniforms he’s unsafe to clasp. Apart, again.
Pierre drifts away, to the spot where the lobby leaks into a bar and - George Russell is there. As out of place as usual, squinting at his phone, folded up in an armchair that’s too low for him. It turns his knees into a ski slope. He only looks up when Pierre gets right up beside him; then he unbends upright, gets halfway to a handshake before he’s gripping Pierre’s shoulder instead. “Good racing, today,” he announces, like he hadn’t said it hours ago, dripping wet and still horribly sincere, all his natural animosities tucked away.
“Thank you,” Pierre replies, automatic. “I did not think Mercedes were slumming here though?” It is a fine hotel, but not so very nice. The lifts are slow. And Mercedes take up space. They have a sponsor deal, he thinks; some foolish video Charles had sent him last year with a string of emoji.
Russell snorts. “No. Meeting Alex for our sad bastards dinner.”
Of course. Because for Mercedes, fourth is a disappointment. Which trophy did Russell imagine he’d be snatching today? Pierre’s? Max’s? He hopes Alex charges his meal to Russell’s card.
“I am going out with the team,” Pierre offers. Immediately feels foolish. He meant- the point was to not invite Russell. It is fun, usually, being rude to him, watching his jaw tic. He is very English about it.
Now, though, he seems unfazed. His eyebrows jump just a little. “I gathered.”
His gaze drops briefly down the deep V of Pierre’s shirt. It is perhaps not an achievement with the most notorious homosexual on the grid, but still. There’s some satisfaction to it.
“Where are you- oh!”
The cooldown lap had felt a hundred years long, after an impossibly drawn-out race. Pierre had felt like he could count every drop of spray between his and Este’s cars.
It is a little like that now, watching Russell’s eyes slide over his shoulder, the way his face changes slowly and utterly. Cheekbones lifted, so his eyes get a little smaller, the start of crows feet at the edges. The top of his face starts smiling before the rest catches up. His shoulders roll too, back and down and open. It happens in a blink, and yet it changes the whole shape of him. Like sunlight through clouds.
Pierre doesn’t need to look round to guess what he’ll say next. “There he is,” Russell adds, regardless. “Have a good evening, Pierre.” He strides off before Pierre can find the right sniff for such an abrupt dismissal.
He turns to wave at Alex, but he’s already turned back towards the lift, shoulders up around his ears until Russell slings an arm over them. He hears Russell teasing: “Don’t be a lazybones, Albono, you’re on the fourth floor, we can walk it.”
And then they are gone, and the girls from the team come to collect him for the car, and they are squashed up close enough that he does not have to think about it for too long. Just long enough.
How many people look at him like sunshine? He had friends like that, once. More than one of them, once.
Tonight, he will say something gracious. Tell Esteban he raced better. That Pierre could not have caught him if he tried. (Perhaps not if he tried. Perhaps that is ungracious. Perhaps he should not remind Esteban that he is the better teammate. That he is keeping the team.) He has a whole taxi ride to find the right words, the olive branch that Esteban will not reject, or discard, or ignore.
They will hug, and it will not be the last time. The Haas is not so bad; that will help. And ten, or twenty years from now, Pierre can walk into a room somewhere in France, some gathering of old men who raced fast cars, and someone will smile to see him.
It is twenty minutes to Harriet’s bar. By then he can see it; where in windswept Normandy it will be. Snow on the ground and overcast. He will keep most of his hair, he decides, somewhat against the odds; he gives Esteban a little gut but fewer lines, no jowls. Silver in his stubble, but not his hair. Comfortable shoes. Bracelets on their wrists.
The bar is good, for a last minute get. The staff on the door know his face, gesture him through. There are beautiful people in clusters, grapes on the vine, ready for picking. And on the dancefloor, Alpine, Alpine, Alpine. In the centre of it, Esteban, tall even there.
There’s a whoop from near the edge of the throng as someone spots him - one of the pit crew, Marc. It spreads, fast, a sea of heads turning his way, a cheer Pierre thought he might not hear again. They tug him in, hands on his shoulders, back, feet already bouncing, the strange wistful sadness in his stomach already lifting as he raises his hands, shouts with joy and-
Esteban looks across to Pierre and smiles like clouds parting.
---
The carpet in the hotel stairwell has a dizzying pattern, geometric but impossible for the eye to follow. Or perhaps only impossible for someone who has been awake for 24 hours now, staring at it in the half-dark of emergency exit signs. But Pierre has to try, has to trace the thick black lines up and left and down over and over, or the choking gluk sounds Esteban is making round his cock will drive him mad. Tip him over ten seconds into the best-worst blowjob of his life.
They had taken the stairs because it would be quicker than the ancient lifts. Not quick enough, for Esteban. Despite the risk, Pierre does not want to make up the distance. He wants this to last.
Esteban pulls off for a moment; his smile is a slice of white in the darkness. Pierre doesn’t mean for his hand to drop to his face, thumb along his bottom lip, down his chin, but it does so anyway. He catches Esteban’s spit on his thumbpad; sucks it into his own mouth. There’s salt to it.
“You are very wet for me,” Esteban murmurs, matter-of-fact, and Pierre gives up on the carpet, shuts his eyes and lets his head fall back into the corner with a thunk. He has been wet all day, drenched in rain and champagne and sweat. What is one more? He can feel it, the way precome rolls down the underside of his dick to Esteban’s fingers, until Este’s tongue drags back over him, a long side up the inches he cannot fit in his hand.
(“It’s bigger,” he’d said, and Pierre had failed to hide his smirk. He hadn’t made it up, tripod. And Esteban’s hands are bigger now, too.)
His shirt is undone, bunched at his elbows where hands - some familiar, some strange - had dragged it down to trace the shape of his shoulders, the rise and fall of his arm muscles. He’d tugged it back up in the car back, but not enough to stick, not with Este’s long fingers at his neck. It makes him feel on display now, naked from his thighs up, Esteban’s dark head the only modesty he’s been afforded.
He’s cold where Esteban had slicked down his happy trail with his tongue. It makes him shiver when Este gets back to bobbing back and forth, and his hair whispers over Pierre’s stomach. He has been touching him all night, never a hand off him, and yet Pierre is still so sensitive to each new collision. He can feel Este grin, smug, around him, like he’s noticed. It doesn’t rankle like it should.
Esteban divebombs down Pierre’s dick again, and he comes before he can get out a warning, choking on thick air, hot and tight in his lungs. Este surfaces seconds later, cracks Pierre’s mouth open with a finger and thumb on his jaw, and feeds him his come in long, loving licks around his teeth. He’s still got his other hand wrapped around Pierre’s softening dick. As Pierre blinks up at him, stupefied, those clever fingers slide to cup his balls instead. A single digit taps at his taint.
“Dry here,” Esteban muses. Pierre’s mouth falls open, panting. He thinks his come must still be gleaming on his tongue. He can still taste it. “We can fix that.”
And then there is light, crashing through the dark, as the door to the stairwell on the floor above opens, and the perpetual glow of the corridor shines through. Pierre clutches Este to him like cover. The bastard still has all his clothes on, at least, even if Pierre’s bare thighs are obvious either side of his too-skinny frame.
The shaft of light falls a little to their left, not quite a spotlight. Perhaps they will not be noticed. Perhaps there is still enough luck for one more miracle.
Soft steps, on the stairs. And then-
“Fuck,” someone hisses from above them.
Not someone. Familiar. Far too English.
Someone who should not be in the stairwell of the Williams team hotel at 4am. But. Pierre is in no position to throw stones. His stones are still in Esteban’s large, warm hand.
Esteban is being no help. He snickers into Pierre’s neck for a moment, so lightly his lips barely leave his skin. Then: “Take the lift, George,” he calls, apparently deciding plausible deniability is for other motherfuckers.
His voice is a little rough. Well-used.
Russell, at least, understands how to play the game. It is silent, except for the hurried steps up and away. The whine of the door.
“Shit,” Pierre groans. Esteban’s finger presses again at the space between his arse and his balls. “Shit,” Pierre says again. It echoes differently. Higher.
Esteban is snickering again. “Always so dramatic,” he chides. But his hands are gentle as he pulls Pierre’s slacks back up his legs; does up precisely one button on his shirt and slides his palms down the sides like that will make him presentable for the CCTV in the corridor. “Come on, two floors more to mine. I shall have to fuck you in the morning, you are too spooked now.”
Pierre doesn’t like the needy sound he makes; Esteban’s eyes gleam. He won’t beg for it, but: “When is your flight?” Pierre’s is late, commercial. They book different flights, more often than not. Esteban’s gaze wavers for a second. But only down to Pierre’s mouth, his navel, and back up.
“The same. It is the same. I asked- said to change it. After. At the track.” Este must bite his lip – his bottom teeth disappear for a moment. Pierre wants the light back, wants to see his face. “We were-” he says the rest with his hands, palm to palm, parallel – two cars moving in sync around a curve. “And in the cooldown. You smiled at me.”
“I smiled?”
Este huffs. It is just enough like his cruel silences to make Pierre feel alert again, hands twitching to grasp a wheel he cannot see. “I cannot change it back. It will be sorted by now.”
There is an inch between them that has not been there all night. Esteban’s weight shifts, like he means to step back further. Pierre has to lunge for him, cram their mouths together. They had not done this at the bar. Touching, yes, everywhere they could get away with, but this was different. Private.
Este whines a little into the kiss. His fingers get grabby again.
“Fuck me now, and later,” Pierre demands against his mouth. Esteban nods; in the dark his lips leave a smear against Pierre’s temple.
His echo sounds like a promise. “Now and later.”

partyisntover.
→ pairing: yan!kth x reader
→ "we could still dance"
→ wc: 1556
→ cws: drugging, kidnapping, slight sexual innuendos
→ notes: this is inspired by one of my favorite songs, specifically the first part "PartyIsntOver", it's by tyler, the creator, and i would recommend listening to (the whole song obviously cus its fire) but specifically PartyIsntOver before/while reading :) enjoy!
parties were like your safe space. it was a strange thing to say, but it was true. for some odd reason, you always felt more at home at a bustling party than your actual house. maybe it was something about the anonymity of parties, how for one night, you could become whoever you wanted, hide the vulnerable parts of yourself within the dim lights and use the alcohol as an excuse if things were to get out of hand.
or perhaps, you just liked the chaos. raised to be a good, studious girl, you didn't get out much for your entire childhood. everything was meticulous, planned out, by-the-book. there was no room for spontaneity, or a new adventure, or even a happy accident. it was nice for a while, having the assurance that nothing would ever go wrong, but after so many years of it, you grew sick of the blandness. it was then, you realized that describing your life as "calm" and "peaceful" was masking the sad reality of it: that your life was dull.
so, the second you left the house, (literally, the minute your parents drove away from your college), you went out and found something to do. that is, you walked into the first random celebration you happened upon while strolling, and you were hooked. now your life revolved around parties, and gatherings, and events, and any excuse to throw on a nice dress and do something fun with new people. and honestly? you wouldn't have it any other way. in a way, it felt as if your inner child was being healed, like you were finally fulfilling the dreams of a little girl who just wanted to have fun.
taehyung, on the other hand, hated parties. he despised the loud music, the drunk people and their sweaty bodies, thrashing around in a closed off space, forming a pit of body odor and bad decisions. not to mention the feeling of social inferiority that he felt when he was there, and the way he just stood around, drinking whatever poison was shoved into his hand by a drunk rando didn't help his case. yet he kept showing up, every single time, he always came back, for one reason.
you.
he couldn't explain it, but the two of you, you completed each other. the yin to his yang. and the two of you, together, would create the perfect balance that you needed, that he needed. hell, just looking at you, his heart was relieved of the negative emotions that came with the social ostracization. like the confidence and happiness that bloomed in your heart was sent to his, traveling by a long, invisible string connecting the two. he knew that it would take work, and the very type of meticulous planning that you grew to hate. he wasn't someone you'd even look at. but he had determination, a drive to achieve lifelong joy, the same type he felt whenever he looked at you.
of course, he had already started by removing the obvious disturbances to fate. he tore them up, burned some of them, dissolved others, and some of them he just buried. it didn't matter where they wound up, as long as they weren't stepping on the string, he didn't care. but they were all gone now, and he could undo the final loop, the one that stopped the string from drawing a straight line from you to him, the one that would finally make things so much clearer. of course, it was a little extreme, but taehyung always took precautions. he couldn't risk the string tangling up again, and how would that happen if there was nothing for it to get caught on?
spying you from across the packed room, you were holding a drink, in your element. somehow, the painful colored lights did wonders for you, the reds and blues giving your skin a purple hue. all he could do was look from the shadows, and wait to catch your eyes. and catch they did, as it was only a few minutes before they met, and with a smirk, approached you.
you could talk later, after all, you'd have all the time in the world to talk and get to know each other after tonight. for now, he just wanted to do what he had to do and get you both out of there. you smiled at him, giving him a shouted greeting. he smiled back and leaned down towards your ear. "the party isn't over yet. want to dance?" he offered, reaching out his hand to lead you to the dance floor.
you nodded, since it was too loud to give him an actual response, and took his hand. he smiled, and weaved through the mass of people holding you tight as he did so. you found yourself in a small corner of the dance floor, away from the large crowd of people in the center. you were surprised at him, since you had seen him around at a few parties, and never saw him dance or even talk to other people. but he wasted no time in grabbing your hips and swaying the both of you along with the music. not that you didn't appreciate his forwardness, you actually enjoyed it, and it didn't take long for you to follow his lead.
"good song, hm?" he asked, leaning down so far that his head was basically in the crook of your neck. you nodded shyly, the heat in your face hopefully being hidden by the colored lights. he gave a short, husky laugh in your ear, as his feet twisted up with yours. "sorry about that, i'm not the best dancer." he apologized. you smirked, turning around to face him. standing up to talk into his ear, you laughed back. "if you're such a bad dancer, then why am i out here with you?" you asked cheekily, smiling as you took a sip of your drink.
what a shame you were facing backwards that whole time. if you weren't, maybe you would've seen the little bag of white powder taehyung dumped into your drink. maybe you could've thrown out the drink, slapped him in the face, and gone home. what a damn shame.
he shrugged his shoulders. "you're taking a chance, i guess." he shouted back, grabbing your waist again and pulling you in closer to him. as your head hit his chest, you felt the room spin violently, too violently to match the level of alcohol you had drank that night. suddenly, the music felt too loud yet muffled and far away. the strobing lights were giving you a migraine, and your legs felt like wet spaghetti.
taehyung picked up on your weakness, right away, almost as if he were expecting it. "woah, okay. have a few too many, princess?" he joked, clasping his arms around you tighter. you shook your head, the idea of forming words and annunciating them too much for you to stomach. he laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "come on, you, let's get you out of here. come on." he told you, reaching his arm under your knees and scooping you off your legs, your drink falling from your limp hands and its contents spilling out onto the floor.
you tried to shake your head more, tell him you were okay, but your movement was too weak as everything in your line of vision began to bleed into one another. he laughed again, as he moved his way through the crowd, you heard the noise of the party fade away, the sound of his voice now amplified in your ears. it was only now that you could hear the darkness in his voice, finally being unveiled as the street lights shined above you.
"god, i can't wait to get you home. we're going to have some fun, aren't we?" he murmured, hands digging further into your legs as he struggled to open the door to his car. that was enough to send you into an adrenaline overdrive, shooting your head up as he laid you gently on the car seats. "huh?!" you sputtered, trying to grab for anything you could to fight back.
"i said, 'your night out is done'. you're drunk, sweetheart, you need to go to sleep, okay? just shut your eyes." he pleaded, standing in between your legs as he stroked your cheek softly. you shook your head, weakly, but you still did it, trying to kick your legs to get him away. he grabbed your calves, stilling the thrashing motions. "stop it. i need to bring you home." he growled, "i'm doing this because i love you."
you looked around helplessly as you struggled to comprehend what he said. "what?" you choked, as he shut the back door and got into the driver's seat. "nothing, princess. just go to sleep. it'll all be good when you wake up, okay?" he comforted, starting the ignition and driving away from the bustling house.
you could feel the strands of consciousness slip out of your hands, and felt yourself falling into the abyss of something deeper than sleep. the last remnants of a thought that you could piece together were ones of panic, and the last thing you could see as your eyes fell shut, was taehyung's glare in the rearview mirror.

This is my first longer fic—an idea I came up with a few years ago and finally wrote. I had most of it written before my trip so I was able to finish and edit it real quick. Hope you enjoy 🫶
Kara Danvers/Supergirl x Reader sickfic
*TW: small amounts of city destruction, mentions and slight descriptions of throwing up
Weirdest Day Ever
You murmured a raspy ‘thanks’ as you payed the cashier and left the pharmacy with a small plastic bag in hand. Your body ached as you slowly walked down the sidewalk, the sunlight amplifying your pounding headache. You couldn’t wait to get home and take some medicine to help dull the symptoms of this awful cold? Flu? Whatever it was you had come down with. You’d gone to bed last night not feeling great and woke up this morning feeling like you’d been hit by a bus.
You called in from work first thing then you had thought about calling your girlfriend, Kara Danvers. You knew she would drop everything to come over and take care of you, and all you wanted was her warm arms wrapped around you until you felt better, but you decided to not tell her you were sick.
It was a random Tuesday and she was at work and you knew she took her job very seriously. Kara was the sweetest person you had ever met so you had no doubt she would want to cake care of you, but this was also the first time either one of you had gotten sick during your relationship. You really didn’t want to end up getting her sick too.
Sighing, you continued to make the walk back to your apartment, a loud sudden BOOM jumped you from your thoughts and the ground rumbled under your feet. Your legs shook with the ground beneath you and your eyes widened in panic when you looked up to see a massive alien shooting bright purple lasers all over the street before you.
You screamed as you barely dodged one of the violet rays which had been knocked off course as the alien lost focus, his aim disrupted by a familiar figure flying onto the scene. You watched in shock, your heart drumming in your chest as you saw Supergirl, a blur of golden, blue and red as she punched the alien down in rapid super-speed succession.
A loud crack had your gaze shifting up, your body reacting before you could realize that you were rolling out of the way just in time as a huge broken piece of building came crashing down right where you just were.
The impact exploded the area with dust, blinding your vision of the fight and filling your lungs, making you cough. Between the dust and your flu, you quickly found yourself unable to stop, your head getting light from the lack of oxygen. Your vision blurs as you hear distant cheers and you can only sit on the ground, your chest burning and ribs aching from the force of your coughs.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt?” A worried voice asks as the dust begins to settle and you look up, the dust still clouding most of your sight. For a second, all you can see is a pair of ocean eyes, so vibrantly blue and strangely familiar.
“Ka..” you start to utter your girlfriend’s name, sure the eyes were hers, but another coughing fir cut you off. The figure in front of you moved closer, and standing before you, was none other than THE Supergirl, the Girl of Steel, the girl who just saved your life by showing up at the exact right time and distracting the rouge alien.
She approached you slowly, hesitating before placing a hand on your back, patting it gently in an attempt to help. “Are you hurt?” She repeats, her voice a strange mix of emotions like she was panicking but trying not to show it.
You shook your head, letting her know you were okay. Well, if only you could stop coughing. The hero released a sigh of relief, continuing to pat your back. If you weren’t having so much trouble breathing right now you might have laughed. The same girl who just beat down an alien five times her size was now patting your back as gently as if you were made of glass.
You marveled over the control she had of her powers. “Um…” You heard the Kryptonian say and you both looked up to see a crowd of people forming around you and the destruction caused by the attack. In the distance, you could see some sort of black ops team cuffing the unconscious alien and taking him away.
Supergirl leaned closer to you liked she was about to say something else, but then she stood up. “I should probably fly you to a hospital miss, get you checked out.” The blonde said loudly, with her ‘hero’ voice, directing it more to the crowd than to you.
Not a second later you were wrapped securely in her strong arms, flying above National City, the chilly wind blowing through your hair and sending a shiver down your spine. You leaned more into Supergirl’s warmth. As fast as it started, the ride was over and she was setting you down carefully onto of a random building in the city.
You glanced around confused. “Um, this isn’t a hospital.” You pointed out of obvious, your voice rough and raspy. The hero in front of you flashed a bright, toothy smile. “No, it isn’t. I just needed an excuse to get us away from that crowd and all their cameras.” She explained then stepped closer, hands hovering over your body.
“But-I…if you need me to take you to one I can. Guess I didn’t think that through too well huh?” She gave an awkward, apologetic smile. You couldn’t help but smile back, clearing your throat. “No, no, it’s alright, Supergirl. I’m alright.” She nodded, her shoulders relaxing a bit and her arms moved to wrap around her chest, her muscles flexing a bit against the fabric of her suit.
“If you-uh don’t mind me asking. Is there a reason you were coughing so much?” She asked. You didn’t answer her at first, momentarily distracted by the hero. You had never seen her up close and it was easy to say she was even more gorgeous than on tv. And a lot more awkward too, kind of like Kara. You shook your head. Kara, your girlfriend. The sweetest woman ever.
“Uh sorry. Yeah it’s just this stupid cold or flu, whatever you could call this nuisance.” You rasped gently, your throat still very much dry and hoarse. A small crinkle formed in the blonde’s brows. “You’re sick?” She clarified. You nodded, clearing your throat again, it was really starting to bother you now.
“What um…if you’re sick then why were you out and about?” Supergirl asked hesitantly. “You held up the bag of medicine you miraculously still had. “Needed some supplies.” Supergirl nodded, frowning slightly.
“Sorry if um this is more personal but do you like have anyone who could have gone out for you?” She questioned and you thought of Kara, a smile forming on your face. “Yeah, my girlfriend, Kara. Gosh she’s amazing.” You gushed, too busy thinking about her to notice that Supergirl’s cheeks had taken on a slight blush.
The hero looked intently at you with her sparkling eyes. “Was she not home?” You nodded at her question. “She has work today. I-um-I mean I love her but her job is important to her, so it’s important to me and I didn’t want her to have to take time off.” You explained, looking up just as her expression changed, becoming difficult to read.
She looked sad, slightly guilty and maybe embarrassed. This confused you but you didn’t think much of it as a strong breeze swept across the roof, leading you to wrap your arms around your shivering body. The previous adrenaline from the mornings’ craziness starting to wear off, the effects of your flu becoming more prominent.
Supergirl closed the distance between you and put a hand on your shoulder. “I uh, I can’t speak for your girlfriend but I think you should give her a call. But first, you should be in bed, not on top of a building. May I fly you home?” Her tone was strong and sweet as she held out a hand for you. She seemed to know what you were thinking as you hesitated.
“Don’t worry, I can’t get sick. Perks of being an alien.” Her smile and light tone were reassuring. “Well then, I’d be honored, Supergirl.” You took her soft hand and she grabbed you gently by the waist and flew up into the air. It was amazing, flying up above the city like this. You couldn’t have felt more safe in Supergirl’s strong arms…well actually you always felt safe in Kara’s too, but this. This was something else.
“Where do you live?” The Girl of Steel asked, smiling at the look of wonder on your face as you marveled at the view. You searched for a second until your eyes landed on your apartment building. “There, third floor, window on the right,” You pointed and Supergirl nodded. Within seconds the hero had flown you into your apartment, through the window which luckily you’d left unlocked.
She set you down and you took a wobbly step forward, slightly disoriented from moving so fast. Your growing fever definitely wasn’t helping either.
“Here, let me help.” Supergirl was back by your side faster than you could blink. She steadied you then wrapped an arm around your shoulder and helped you to your couch. You blushed at her kindness and tried to rasp out a ‘thanks’ but your throat was too irritated, the attempt only sending you into yet another annoyingly painful coughing fit.
Your eyes closed as you doubled over, coughing harshly into your elbow. You felt the couch dip next to you and no sooner was Supergirl rubbing your back softly until you were done.
When the fit subsided, she was gone and back within a flash, offering you a bottle of water she found in your fridge. You gulped it down like it was air, the cool water immediately numbing the pain in your throat. “Thank you.” You managed after taking a few deep breaths and a few more sips of water. The blonde just nodded flashing a cute smile.
“Just doing my job.” She chimed and you smiled. Her whole sunshine-like demeanor was contagious. You quirked an eyebrow at her. “I didn’t know that involved house calls.” You joked and she let out a cute chuckle to match her cute smile.
“Yeah sometimes, you know, when I’m not punching down aliens with purple laser eyes.” She joked with you then let out a small exhale. “Well, you’re safe and home now so I guess it’s time to make my leave.” The blonde stood up and walked to the open window.
She turned her head back to look at you. “Remember what I said. Being sick alone is no fun. If this girlfriend of your’s is as amazing as you say, I’m sure she’d much father be here with you than at work.” You nodded and cleared your throat. “Thank you, Supergirl. For everything.”
With a wink, she took off without another word, leaving you sitting there, baffled at how this had become your day.
Taking Supergirl’s advice, you picked your phone, taking another sip of water before calling Kara. She answered immediately.
“Hey, babe are you okay? I heard there was a big attack near your apartment.” You hadn’t even spoken before being hit with Kara’s loving concern. “Yeah, yeah. I’m alright Kar…Supergirl saved the day as always.” You rasped out and there was a slight pause on the other end. You could practically see the adorable crinkle of worry that was no doubt present in your girlfriend’s brow.
“You sound off, is everything alright love?” She asked and you weren’t surprised at how little time it took her to notice. She always knew when you weren’t feeling well or when you were sad or just tired. You turned your head to muffle a few coughs into your shoulder.
“I’m alr…well…er…no actually. I’m not alright, Kara. I’m sick and exhausted and everything aches and I really just wish you were here.” You took Supergirl’s advice and told Kara the truth. “Aw baby, I’m sorry you don’t feel well. Don’t worry, I’m actually already on my way. James sent me to report on the attack but he’ll understand. I’ll see you in a few minutes babe.”
Kara’s words made your chest warm with love and the thought of her being only a few minutes away made you smile. “Wait, um…don’t hang up, please? I just want to hear your voice.” You pleaded and a light chuckle filled your ear.
“I’m right here my love.” Kara hummed into the phone and you sighed, pulling a fuzzy blanket around you. She spoke about random things, shared little bits about her day and before you knew it, you heard the soft click of her key in your door and a second later your girlfriend walked in.
She immediately made her way to where you were snuggled up on the couch, laying on your side with the blanket pulled up to your chin. Kara knelt down to be at eye level with you. “Hey baby.” She murmured softly, her hand moving to cup your cheek as her thumb grazed lightly over your warm skin.
“You’re here.” Your words were slurred with exhaustion. “Of course I am.” Kara’s voice was loving and low, figuring you probably had a big headache, which you did. You swallowed hard. The sight of your girlfriend finally here and looking at you with such adoration added with the fact that you were completely miserable and exhausted meant the few tears that snuck out were inevitable.
Kara’s heart broke seeing you like this. “Hey, hey, no you’re okay baby. I’m here now, it’s okay.” Kara’s tone was reassuring as she moved to sit with you, pulling you into her lab and cradling you close to her chest. Her warm strong arms wrapped around you and you wrapped your arms around her waist, leaning into her loving, protective touch as she kissed your hair.
You sighed, closing your eyes. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you I was sick.” You murmured into her soft shirt. “No, no, baby, I’m sorry that I didn’t provide you with the space where you felt like you could tell me.” You hugged Kara tighter. Your voice was riddled with congestion when you spoke. “I love you.”
Kara’s hand moved to rub soothing circles along your back as you fell into a comfortable silence for just a moment. “Hey.” She said, gently putting her other hand to your cheek, waiting until you looked up at her before she continued.
“You know you’re more important to me than work right? More important than anything.” She asked and you offered her a small smile as you nodded. “I know, Kara.” You closed your eyes again and she kissed your temple. “I love you babygirl. So, so much.” She hummed.
“Kara?” A few more minutes of silence passed before you spoke, deciding to tell her about earlier. “What is it love?” A small crinkle formed between her brows as you looked back up at her. It wasn’t hard for Kara to see that you were hesitant, and that whatever you were about to say had been on your mind for a bit.
“Well…um…I wanted to let you know that I…uh…I met Supergirl today. I had gone to the pharmacy. She saved me during the attack.” You started and Kara nodded along, her crinkle fading a bit.
“That’s now all though. She saw that I was sick and flow me home, helped me get settled. It was really nice of her but kinda weird too. She made it feel so personal even though we’ve never met. I just wanted you to know that even in her presence and hero-ness, all I thought about was how much I wanted to be with you.” You finished.
For some reason you felt like todays’ events would upset Kara but she just smiled at you. “Thank you for telling me, babe. I can see that you’re worried about it, but know that I trust you completely.” Kara’s words were sincere and loving.
You hummed, closing your eyes and leaning more into the blonde. “You know, she so much hotter in person than on tv.” You murmured, still quite out of it due to your fever. Kara chuckled. “Is she now?” Her tone was light, amused even.
“Mmhum. But you’re so much prettier and she may be the Girl of Steel but I think your muscles are actually bigger.” You added and Kara’s adorable giggle put a smile on your face. “Really? I find that hard to believe.” She laughed, hew chest rumbling below you; the feeling providing you with incredible comfort.
You felt like shit, but you couldn’t help but be happy when you were in Kara’s arms. Somehow when you were with her, you knew everything would be alright. She would always be there for you, to comfort you, protect you, or whatever you needed and you hoped she knew you would always do the same for her.
Your eyes were closed now as you just soaked in being with Kara. You could hear the faint sounds of a movie or show she’d turned on at some point, hoping the background noise would help distract you from how awful you felt.
Kara’s gentle finger were sifting through your hair and every once in a while they would pause to scratch your head lightly. Her soothing ministrations had almost lulled you to sleep when a sudden wave of nausea course through you, your heart fluttering as the feeling rose in you.
Kara felt you tense in her arms. “Hey, you okay?” She asked softly and you shook your head slightly. Kara saw the sudden panic and discomfort in your eyes, not to mention the green tinge to your skin tone. You closed your eyes, willing yourself not to puke on your girlfriend when you suddenly felt a second strange sensation, one that felt somewhat familiar.
There was a soft ‘woosh’ sound and when you opened your eyes not a second later, you were in the bathroom, immediately kneeling over the toilet and throwing up. Ugh gross, you thought. No sooner were you over the toilet, Kara was pulling up your hair, her hand already running along your back.
When you were done, you leaned back into her embrace and she hugged you tight. You looked up at her, pure confusion and disorientation swam in your eyes. “Kara? I-how…what? How did we—?” Your tried to stammer out. Kara’s cheeks flushed, her deep blue eyes shining with regret, love and something you couldn’t quite tell.
“We should talk.”

Stalker (A Twisted Chris Evans Love Story)
Chris Evans is walking home from a lengthy extended climb up a mountain area as he is returning home he dug into his pocket as he walks into the side of the road sending that something off. He wants to believe that it’s all in his head but it’s obvious it is not as he ships clearly seeing a shadowy figure brush past the leaves craving him off guard and he rushes into his pocket. Chris shook his head thinking about how it is utterly ridiculous this all is, he is in deep fear of his life since that chance meeting at the red carpet event and remembers it all too well. He sighs as the jet black limo stops as the door pops open swinging to the side as he is stepping out onto the stylish red carpet and made another one of these lame movie events. He places a fake smile on his face as it is plastered for everyone to see giving all of the camera men a good show in that sexy toned blue suit, black shirt and silky black shades. He puts his hand up in the air waving at the camera lens with bright lights flashing in his face as he ships cold, his mind rushes into him soon everything begins to fade along with his mind. This young man hops over the gate coming face to face with his acting idol as the man places a hand on his shoulder with a kind smile that warms Chris heart and he begins to feel safe. Nothing in this world matters to him except to listen to the interviewers load of questions that came sparkling through his sweet mouth and his eye begin to glisten brightly. Chris eyes meet his eye lines as the world is swirling away all mixing together into a new realm as all everything’s and every one is mixing together and blending existence into one things. “Mr. Evans! Nice to finally meet your acquaintance! What is your favorite role that you have played up to now? Mine is Captain America, Ransom, Luke and my boy Johnny .” I say speaking from my soul.
“Chris? Chris? Where are you? Boo”
“Who are you? You are that guy right.”
“What guy? Mmmmwwwwwwaaaaaa”
“Did you just blow me a kiss?”
“You hated it?”
“Stay the fuck away from me”
“I will blowing much more of you “
“Oh Fuck you!”
“Language “
“Shit! Sorry “
“Your downfall begin now”
“What did I ever do to you ?”
“You saw me! You showed me such kindness”
“I knew we belonged together “
“I am married “
“Fuck that!”
“Do you see her?”
“I am in the forest “
“Are you? You are at home dummy”
“Of course! Sorry I am a dumbass “
“Love that Bostonian accent “
“It’s average”
“Like your package”
“Hey woah! That is no man’s land “
“I want to play it with it not suck it”
“You are a fucking liar”
“I don’t submit but I want you to claim you as my bitch”
Chris eyes stir back to the real world sighing as he looks at the ceiling with super smiling so silly it is unbelievable as the nightmare that he escaped a minute ago with that stalker. That is until he attempts to get up his body comes to realization of his current situation as his body struggles to undo the metal restraints holding him down and yankhim down. The fear apparent on his face calls to him in a strange bed fellow kind of way he may be into this, does he actually the terror aspect of his life? Can he really be into type fear kink? That is sick! He cannot be that guy to be in the most vulnerable person in the world holding him back a bit he slowly tries to calm himself down and find a way to leave this shit. The man is in the house he freaks out thinks to himself he could free himself maybes as he envisions his body, he could race up to the windows pulling it up a she struggles to exit the window and he makes a major run for it crossing the street then past all of the area. He felt the sweat piling onto him profusely as his brow began to itch as he footsteps growing more intense and even louder as he climbs up to the main and floor entering the room the door closes up leaving us no room to escape and Chris knew there is no way for him to win. “Hey Chris! Chris Evans! Pretending to not hear me because you can’t stand the sight of me. Replacing me with someone of something you like can’t and won’t work Chris. Since I am the real man here.” He whispers kneeling down to him as he places kissing map from Chris lips to his cheek and blowing air into his ear as Chris trembles with shakes at my power and soon he will be in love with him.
“Will you be mine without any issues?”
“I love you”
“Get off!”
“Why should I get off?”
“You should beg me”
“I am telling you GET OFF”
“Fuck that Will you surrender nicely”
“Get a life “
“I do”
“And maybe?”
“I want yours “
“You need to release me or my wife “
“Your wife, your wife “
“Yeah! Take my hand”
“Your wife is not here”
“She will be soon”
“And she is not coming back”
“So forget about it”
“I think…wait”
“What was I saying “
“How much you love me”
“I love my stalker “
“No! You are my stalker “
“Oh Hey!
“How did you find me Chris?”
“Don’t be scared of me”
“No! No! Ssssshhhhh”
“I just want to have some fun”
“At my expense “
“No with you “

Everything at Once part 3
Dieter Hellstrom x Original Fem Character
(I apologize if this fanfic is dumb, I've wanted to make one for a while but never gotten around to it. Again, English is not my first language, so I apologize for the grammatical errors and the some parts that make no sense. Also thank you for the support! ♡♡)
Warnings: cursing, N*zis, discrimination, dieter is smittennnn, flirting, smut in the future, violence and angst in the future. I do not support N*zis in any shape or form!
I'm sick of translating so everything is in English now. 😘
(not my gif)
.
A week later, Dieter found himself thinking of the French baker. He can still taste her coffee on his tounge and feel her fingers accidentally touching his. He wondered how those fingers would feel on other parts of his skin. The thought sent shivers down his spine.
He felt absolutely horrible about snapping at her for no reason. Her startled expression made his heart sink more and more.
BRRRRRIIIIIIING
His alarm clock buzzed. 5 o'clock.
"Shut up" he grumbled trying to turn off the damn thing.
BRRRIIIIIIING
He fumbled it in his hands for a minutes, eventually throwing across the room, hitting the wall. It broke.
"Shit." Dieter mumbled.
He looked over at the calendar. Sunday. Rest day... finally.
After getting ready for the day, he decided the walk around the city.
There was no one out, due to church goers and the ungodly hour.
There was something peaceful about walking the streets of Paris alone, but also strange
Isnt Paris the City of Love? Where is his love?
He made it to Camille's bakery and stopped the entrance. The door was blue and the windows blue floral drapes were closed.
He looked up at the apartment above the establishment and saw the window was open and the white lace drapes were softly blowing in the wind. Suddenly, a young woman appeared in a cream colored nightdress and leaned over the black metal balcony.
Dieter panicked slightly, and hid in the small alleyway around the corner; he could still see the woman.
It was the waitress.
The stupid waitress....
He watched her for a moment, basking in her beauty and she smoked her cigarette on the balcony.
The sight was almost too perfect.
Her golden curls were loose around her shoulders and her nightdress had the perfect sheerness that he could almost see her silhouette.
Dieter realized he was watching her for too long when that beautiful face saw his...
Shit
Camille gasped so hard she nearly choked on the cigarette smoke. She ran back inside clutching her chest, hoping he didnt see anything. Oh, but he did and he will never forget.
Dieter mentally kicked himself for being a peeping tom.
"Now my reputation is even worse now." He thought to himself as he trudged back to his flat.
When back home, he poured himself a glass of whiskey and sat on the sofa.
He drank his sorrows and embarrassment that night never not thinking of that stupid waitress.
.
The next evening, Camille was cleaning up the cafe, wiping down the counter, cleaning the dishes, and now he least favourite...mopping the floor.
Some idiot German officer's wife let her child throw a God awful fit and tossed a perfectly made hot chocolate to the ground.
Camille groaned and cringed when realizing the floor has been stained.
Small tears prickled in the corners of her eyes. That morning, she got a letter from the landowner stating if she doesnt make anymore money in the following week, her cafe will be shut down.
Out of a fit of rage and exhaustion, she threw her favourite vase full of flowers to the ground.
I'll never make as much as they want....I'll never make the bare minimum anyways...
Without notice, a pair of black leather boots came into view as she looked up from her fit on the ground.
Her eyes traveled upwards the black clad legs, to a long thick leather jacket and a swastika on a red cuff.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, sir. What would you like?" Camille panicked, not meeting the eyes of the officer.
"Nothing miss..." the voice spoke. She looked up and saw the face of the pale man...
She opened her mouth to speak but he beat her to it.
"Your flowers are on the ground." Dieter said plainly.
Camille giggled softly.
He cracked a small smile. "Need new ones?"
She looked up at him again in confusion. Then, he moved his hands behind his back and presented the bouquet. It was multicolored with different roses, lilacs, and baby's breath. It was beautiful.
She smiled and took the bouquet from him.
"I dont know your favourite colour, so I got all of them." He said proudly. Camille laughed and took a smell of the flowers.
"Merci... but why did you get me flowers?"
Dieter's face went red as a tomato.
"I felt sorry for bring rude the other day and spying on you. Trust me, it was not my intention. "
Camille rolled her eyes playfully and looked directly into his eyes. "Isnt that your job, to spy?"
He chuckled softly and shrugged his shoulders.
They shared this peaceful beautiful moment together a little longer. He plucked a small flower from the bouquet and but it behind Camilles ear.
"Would you like some help with cleaning?" He asked without taking his eyes off of her.
She felt droopy, relaxed finally.
"Oh...the mess..." she replied quietly looking up at him. His features more visable to her. She felt herself closer to him and slowly close her eyes.
Dieter panicked.
"Mademoiselle... the mess."
Camille immediately snapped out of her love bitten stupor and got right back to cleaning.
Dieter helped out on what he could with picking up the broken glass. As he leaned to pick the glass up, Camille was already on her knees trying to scrub the stain off the floor. They were inches part. Dieters heart raced.
She looked over at him and smiled.
He got up quickly before anything tempting would happen.
What is wrong with me...
As he threw out the glass he saw the small peice of paper containing the for closure of the bakery. His throat felt dry and his hands got clammy.
No...dont leave me just yet...
"I think I got most of it." Camille admitted as she got up from the floor.
Dieter looked her in the eyes.. she cant leave me yet...
"What is your name, Mademoiselle?" He asked her.
"Camille Robichaux." she answered. "Yours?"
"Major Dieter Hellstrom."
She giggled playfully and took his hat off his head and put it on hers. He laughed and tried to take it back, but she was too quick and ran away from him. He followed her, lagging behind on purpose. He watched her legs as they ran away from him. I wonder how those legs feel around my...
She turned a sharp corner and up a flight of steep stone stairs. The stairs to her flat. Should I? Dieter thought.
He heard her giggling and her feat running upstairs.
Fuck it. He ran after her, following her laughter.

Pssst, uh!!
I’m unsure if you do kinda hurt comfort-y esque stuff? But in the case you do, I wanted to mmmaybe request smthn with Wally?
Mainly just uhh,, a reader that. like. tends to isolate themselves when they get in a funk. they just kinda slowly withdraw more and more. maybe just,, like,, smthn of him checking up on said reader as he notices them slowly not being present more and more? Comfort stuff, blaahh (could be platonic or romantic!!- I don’t mind either)
I hope you have a lovely day!!!
Wally Darling x Isolated! GN! Reader
“Shh… Take a few deep breaths.”
Warnings : Tiny angst, reader collapsing, and reader isolating themselves until they’re sick. Platonic or Romantic?: Can be read as both. {———————————————————————————}
It was a normal day at the neighborhood, and you were having a moment with Julie and the others.
Julie had set up an idea for everyone in the neighborhood, and that was for everyone to share their games with others.
Julie held a fashion competition as her game, Frank held a butterfly catching contest— you name it.
Of course, you had your own game too.
When that day came and everyone began playing the activities one by one, you kept embarrassing yourself during the games even though the others insisted it was okay.
I mean, you mistook a belt for a scarf at Julie’s fashion competition and tripped so many times at Frank’s butterfly catching contest to the point he’d tell you to sit back and relax.
Of course, Frank had to patch you up after his game before proceeding to Sally’s game.
These mistakes of yours continued on as the day went and you felt absolutely humiliated and embarrassed.
Everyone was having fun, but you felt upset about yourself for making so many mistakes.
You felt worthless for not being able to do such simple tasks the others set up for their game, and you felt bad that the other neighbors had to spend their time worrying about you while they were having fun.
Since you noticed they were getting worried, you decided to shake your head and smile at them, giving them a small ‘It’s okay! I’ll be fine.’ each time they ask you if you’ll be okay.
At afternoon, it was Wally’s turn to conduct his game.
You didn’t show up.
Wally noticed this. He asked the others where you were, and they told him that you just decided to go home early because you had to feed your new pet rock.
Pet rock?
Both you and Wally were close enough to know that you didn’t have a pet.
Unless you didn’t tell him, that’d sort of hurt his feelings.
But either way, Wally decided to continue his game, which was a painting competition. He thinks you needed rest after the small incidents you went through today.
Wally decided to paint you for his game and give it to you tomorrow.
The next day, he noticed you hadn’t come out your house until it was around midday.
When he tried talking to you, your voice was slightly raspy and the area around your eyes were slightly red.
Were you crying?
He was about to ask if you were okay, but you quickly ended the conversation and walked to your house as quickly as you can.
The next day passed, and Wally asked the others if they noticed you.
They said that they saw you through the day sometimes. This confused Wally because he hasn’t even seen you.
Its been a week. After the 4th day, you were gone.
Wally decided that this was enough and knocked on your door.
“Neighbor? I know you’re there. Are you okay?”
No answer.
Wally doesn’t think you’re okay— but he tells himself that he shouldn’t think too soon and keep calm.
But you’ve been gone for days.
Ever since the game activity with the neighborhood, you’ve been acting strange.
That day, he noticed how your eyes would glisten whenever you’d mess up the activities. He was mostly staring at you the whole day, and usually you’d notice— but you looked too upset to even look back at him.
He knocked again. No answer.
“[Y/N]?… It’s Wally. Wally Darling, your friend.”
It took a few minutes, and he was about to give up and walk away until he heard the door unlock and open slightly.
You peeked through the door.
Wally looked at you, noticing how puffy your eyes were and how there were dark circles under your eyes.
You were a mess.
“Hi, Wally.”
Your voice sounded so tired
H took note of how you were trying to hold yourself up against the door.
“My dear, what—“
The short puppet was about to ask what happened to you, but you immediately collapsed against the door.
Wally reached out through the small crack in the door and grabbed your arm before you would hit the floor.
“[Y/N]?”
You were sleeping.
He fully opened your door and attempted to carry you. These were times where Wally wished he’d be a bit taller than you so that he’d be able to carry you properly.
Gosh, you were burning up.
The state of your house was slightly messy, but he heads to your living room and gently laid you on the couch.
Wally put his palm over your forehead. You were REALLY warm.
He sighed and prepared a bucket of cold water and a wet towel.
Wally put it over your head, and put a blanket over you.
By the time you woke up, you were about to sit up and panic until you heard someone call out across the couch your were laying in.
“Don’t move. You’re sick, dear. What happened?”
Wally? why was he here?
You listened to him and relaxed your body.
“Good. Just relax yourself, dear. What happened to you?”
You couldn’t respond well, since thinking about the events of last week made your heart ache.
You tried to restrain yourself from crying, really.
“[Y/N]?…”
You finally broke down into silent tears.
Wally walked towards you and gestured you sit up.
He sat down next to you and gently placed your head down his lap.
“Shh, it’s okay— take a few deep breaths.”
The puppet man wiped your tears and gently massaged your scalp so that you’d calm down better as you were taking deep breaths.
Once you calmed down, Wally listened to your thoughts and how you felt too embarrassed to show up around the neighborhood after the game activity from last week.
“Oh, [Y/N]…”
Wally lets out a few chuckles before looking down at you with half lidded eyes.
He gave you a sad smile.
“You know, I’ve been around here for long to know that our neighbors are nice and are willing to accept new people with open arms. Like how they did with you when you first moved in.”
“But dear, no matter the mistakes or embarrassments you make, they’d never think of you in an ill matter. In fact, they’re very grateful of you and respect you in many ways.”
You sniffled as he went along with his talk, his comforting voice making the weight on your shoulders lessen and lessen, until you felt better.
Wally sang you a small song in case you were still crying, and when you did— he gave you a smile.
“It’s all gonna be okay.”

Dirty little Frankie drabble with pregnant reader.
Warnings: P in V sex. Horniess. A little concern about the baby from Frankie, everything is fine. No proof reading. It's late I have to get the honry thoughts out.
Feel Good
Reading all the pregnancy books had not prepared you. They said your hormones would be everywhere. Mood swing would be common.
They did not say you would be honry all the damn time. They didn't say that your husband would become addicted to how wet and sensitive you were. Or that your pussy would taste 'even more heavenly' to him.
"Frankie. Fuck, please just put it in me. I need to feel full. I need it." The chair in your grip below you was covered in your sweat.
At six months gone you were getting rather round and it was easier for Frankie to fuck you from behind if you kneel on your reading chair. He could get as deep as you wanted, well as deep as you needed him. And you did need him, all the time. He had just made you come on his beautiful face and here you were begging him to fill you up.
"Patience, Sweetheart. Aren't you going to woo me a little first…?"
"Frankie." You snapped at him.
He was wise enough to notch his cock at your entrance and slowly slide all the way home after that. "Oh, Frankie. I love you. God, I love you."
Each long steady thrust hit its target. The air was punched from your lungs each time. The pleasure built along with a strange sort of pressure. If Frankie's thick cock didn't feel so damn good sliding in and out of you, you would have questioned it.
"That's it. I feel you getting tighter from me. Come on. Cream on my cock. I promise to fill you up afterwards. Come for me, Baby." And come you did, hard. Blindingly so. So hard that it took you a little while to realise that Frankie had pulled out completely and that it was more than just your cum running down your thighs. "Shit. Is that normal? Is that a baby thing? Do we need to get you checked out?"
Frankie started pacing frantically. His cock, still hard and leaking, bobbed as he did so. The part of you that was a hundred percent sure that Frankie had just succeeded in making you squirt for the first time, and the baby was fine, found the sight comical. The tiny doubt that only grew with his nervousness cleaned yourself off and got ready to head to the doctor's.
An hour and a very awkward conversation later it was confirmed that, yes, you were both fine and yes, Frankie had made you squirt. The longing glances the staff gave Frankie made you smile as you headed out.
"Here we go. You just rest." Frankie tucked you into bed with a warm drink.
"Frankie, I squirted. I didn't get sick."
"I know." His ears tinged red and a boyish smirk spread across his lips.
"Oh, you didn't get to come. Do you want to…?"
"No, Sweetheart. I just got you home and cosy. Plus you must be tired from before." His smirk grew cocky.
"You're pretty proud of yourself, huh? You liked making me squit all over myself?"
The tent in his sweatpants told you as much.
Frankie let out a low groan as you palmed him through his pants. "Are you proud that you are the only person to make me squirt?" His cock twitched against your palm. "Are you proud that this big cock made me feel so good?" Wrapping your spit slicked palm around his now free length, you felt him swell in your grip.
"This big cock that fucked a baby into me so everyone knows that you gave me your load good and deep."
"Fuck. Keep going." He could have meant your hand slowly pumping his length in a tight grip or your filthy words of praise. Either one could serve Frankie to get there.
"It always makes me feel so good, Frankie. It could just by the sheer size of it. Filling me up in all the right ways. Then on top of it you know who to use it. You always fuck me so good, Frankie."
"Yeah. I need to. I can't get enough of that perfect cunt." His breath was juddering, his hand came up to guide yours as his hips lifted up off the bed next to you. "It always feels so good pulling me in. Oh, that's it. Faster. Just a little m…ah. Oh. Oh, shit." Together you worked him through his orgasm. His cum covered your hands and his lower stomach. His chest rose and fell rapidly at first. Then it began to slow. Then it slowed further still.
"Frankie?" A snore was the only reply you got.
Climbing out of bed you washed your hands before getting a cloth to clean up Frankie. He stirred a little as you did. "Did I make you feel good, Mi Amor?" He asked sleepily.
"You always do, Frankie."

Day 2 of @mcyt-aro-week was way harder for me for some reason. I decided to do the prompt "loveless" so for context, in this headcanon Gem is a loveless aromantic, however she doesn't actually know it yet. ALSO, i am not actually a loveless aro, I am in fact the opposite, so if I got anything wildly wrong please tell me <3
----------
Gem had never liked romance. Even as a kid, she'd wrinkle her nose at kiss scenes, complain when her parents called each other pet names, and gag whenever anyone asked about “her future boyfriend.” Back then, though, it was less apparent. Easier to ignore. Sure, it was a bit strange, but she'd been a kid, and kids do strange things all the time.
The first time she remembers being aware of this, is also the first time she got in trouble at school. She was eating lunch with a group of kids, when one of them started bragging about how he'd kissed a boy. All the other kids were oohing and aahing, asking him what it was like and acting all together more impressed then she thought was deserving. If she was honest, she had thought it was gross, so when it came her turn to speak she said as much.
The reaction she got for that was surprising, even to her child mind. Up until then she'd been under the impression that romance didn't appeal to her, so why would it appeal to anyone else? The boy had started crying, and someone got a teacher involved, which all led to a very reluctant apology from Gem and a very awkward ride home with her parents.
Even that, though, was quickly forgotten. Sure, it was a bit strange, but strange things happen all the time, and for now Gem could easily go about her day talking to her friends, and drawing, and definitely not thinking about romance.
As a teenager she was well and truly sick of it.
She didn't get it. She'd never gotten it, and if her luck held she never would. She didn't know how, or why for that matter, but even with their exams only a few weeks away all anyone ever talked about was love, love, love. She didn't know where they got the time.
One day, while she was complaining to her parents on the floor of their living room, and working on an architectural sketch for her portfolio, her dad told her something that would stick with her forever, though not for the reason he probably thought.
“Everyone falls in love. It's what makes us human.”
He'd said it with a patronising grin, like he thought her feelings were childish, and her childish to feel them.
She took it as a challenge.
From then on, she stopped referring to her feelings as love all together. It was a subtle change, one you didn't notice until you did, but once you did you couldn't unsee. She adored it. She'd always felt divorced from what others called love, and being able to reclaim that discomfort, that disconnect as her own? It was nothing short of delightful.
################
“Hey, Gem?” Pearl asked.
Dappled light shimmered though tree leaves, spreading across a stepping-stone path as if someone had splattered the ground with paint. Gem and Pearl walked slowly, enjoying the view and each other's company. A bittersweet atmosphere stuck to them like glitter, since this would be the last time they could talk before Pearl left to her new server, the Empires SMP.
“Mhm?” Gem hummed
“Are you aromantic?”
Huh?
Gem cocked her head to the side, her red hair flowing over her shoulders. “What's that?”
“It's where you don't fall in love”
Well, that was unexpected. Neat.
“Huh. Guess I am.”
