👀 what do you think about about love triangles in BLs?

Hmm, so-so. But as I see it mostly represents lust and not real love. Or one is suffering because the main let them hangin' and not turning them off once and for all. And oc many times after the oh-so-big love they can stay easily friends. I don't see that as too realistic. If the love was true and was able to cause so much harm, saying friends is not easy. Because the feelings stay just as strong as they were - but if they can't live them, it turns into hate. The bittersweet taste of unrequited love will stay.

But oc it can happen like this in real life. Maybe I would like to just enjoy a media that represents the power of clear and healthy communication.

(I wouldn't mind TRUE polyamory either IF it was about LOVE and not LUST.)

It is a tough one! Because tbh I don't like most BL's endings, so I had to scroll through the ones I watched and tried to remember their endings and how I felt. And I decided next to A Tale of Thousand Stars! It was heartwarming, and even the story could surprise me. It was a very pleasant surprise! 💕🙏

🌄 your favorite scene of any BL show

Okay, I dunno if this scene is in The Untamed series (because I never saw it just with jumps to see how much it follows the novel - and erhm, no comment), BUT! I adore LWJ and WWX's first-not-first kiss! It happened in the past when they were still young, if I remember right 17 years old, maybe. WWX the way he is, went for a hunt on a mountain, blindfolded.

Yes, LWJ "attacked" him with a passionate kiss - and I understand why people find it unpleasant - but God, what it implies! The longing for what is behind it! The way Wangji had to hide it while his mark was on WWX's lips! And when it finally turns out that it was Wangji who stole WWX's first kiss... It is just an amazing storyline built for that scene. I loved it. (Plus blind folding here or there, the chemistry worked there, too, even if it caused more harm at the moment).

Wip Wednesday 📸

I am adamant on getting back into the saddle, so have yet another snip from the insta fic. It's kinda dramatic but it's still pretty much just the prelude lmao

The call turned out to be a major three alarm apartment fire, which, due to some faulty insulation no doubt, was going up in flames way faster than it should have in Eddie’s opinion.

After getting asigned into groups by the IC, they fought their way through falling debris, breaking down doors and looking for survivors, up to the very top floor, until they deemed the scene clear.

“Let’s get out of here.” Chimney called over, his voice muffled by his visor and the thick smoke surrounding them.

Eddie barely just opened his mouth to reply when the building groaned under their feet and the whole floor suddenly shifted with the loud, telltale creak of the walls.

“Let’s, let’s go, let’s go!” Chimney waved his arms around, urging Eddie and the rest of their group to make their way towards the stairs.

They were close, but not close enough.

One moment, Eddie was hurrying through corridors with singed wallpaper and billowing smoke and the next, he was free falling from two stories high and landing on top of a large pile of debris and his own oxygen tank.

The pain was unlike anything he had ever experienced before — and he was shot during his last tour in Afghanistan. In all fairness, it wasn’t that it was more painful than a bullet wound, more so that it felt like melting into scorching hot molasses; blisteringly hot and yet somehow numbing.

He couldn’t hear much aside from the blood rushing through his ears and the flames crackling away as they ate up the building around him, board by board — and his own breaths becoming louder and more spaced behind the plastic of his visor.

He knew what was coming and all he could hope for was that his team would get to him in time; or if not, that they’d get out of there alive without him.

Roma, Alisa and Katya were supposed to make the cake and we can see how it’s going 👀

Oliver and Celia took charge of food and flowers respectively. Because Oliver is a very good cook, like he was sewing buttons on blouses, of course he knows how to cook! And Celia helped him out and brought flowers <33

Phoebe went shopping with Juliette to distract her and Silas is panicking looking at the time because everything is still a mess and according to what phoebe said before leaving they should be coming back soon!!!!

Will they finish everything before juliette comes back??? Yes because they take another hour to come back! Why? Well somebody has to call from Moscow to wish Juliette too ;)

They gossip for a while with phoebe joining in too (Phoebe and Marshall and Juliette are THE gossip besties) (benedikt only comes on the phone for a minute to wish her and then goes back to whatever he was doing) (the three of them would have gossiped more but somebody else had to use the phone too)
