reading springfest now after everything in nagazora is making me crave more fu hua and mei interactions. i feel like thus far in my go through, i've never actually seen them interact, but it's kinda fun that the person who made the recommended reading order put springfest after nagazora (though of course this is probably in preparation for whatevers going on with senti/fu hua rn in ch 19)

but the way that the empyrea isolates herself so she doesn't have any attachment to those who she will outlive and how she winds up becoming lonely as a result threw me back to mei isolating herself in world serpent so that she can protect kiana and just... idk..... i think the two talk about that isolation would be interesting

He's a sweetheart, Patience and Virtue is a thing he learned the most during his years of living. Yet, unpredictability is also his nature. Especially as a monkey king. There are times when he would tolerate you acting bratty, a bit Defiant is all fun, but when the day comes where he's fought too many Yaoguais, Demons, and Alike. All he wants is your comforting touch soothing him of his worries. The last thing he needs is your uncooperative attitude.

Wukong is canonically someone who hasnt experienced any romantic nor sexual attraction, the moment he does. He doesn't have a clue on what to do. All he can think of is being in his monkey nature, which includes being possessive, territorial, dominating, and providing you with nutrients. He doesn't trust others enough to help him with his feelings, barely have the guts to ask Bajie if you're in a bad mood. He prefers to wait for others to give him advice (not that he'll take to account).

"MK doesn't know anything, he's a kid! He doesn't understand love like i do... like us adults do. Im doing this to PROTECT you, peaches!"

There might be times where he'll be more touchy than usual, conditioning you to feel comfort and used to his physical affection. Wukong is nothing but patient, he knows how to pavlov you into feeling relaxed once you feel his hands. You'll notice his punishments ranged from letting him groom you, mark you and finally letting him eat you out.

The euphoric bliss whenever he touches you or caught a whiff of your scent is tantalizing, Due to this, he prefers to be the one to serve you rather than you serving him. A king needs his Queen to bleed his heart into, not a concubine who perfoms.

Wukong who gloats about the ring around your finger, making sure everyone. Even the heavens. Know, who you belong to. Theres an endless amount of love flowing through his heart for you, it seeps through timelines and past reincarnations. Even if your current life is done in this world, he'll continue on finding you. Binding you with him, gripping your heart so close till it beats in harmony with his. something im so fascinated by after reading some posts about severance online is ppl saying they like mark’s innie more than his outie. which like, do NOT get me wrong, me too. but i cant help but think abt how odd the implications of that are sometimes, when u think about why innie mark is the way he is.

like, outie mark is an asshole. for understandable reasons, of course. but he’s super abrasive and has major issues with alcohol and honestly it’s so painful to watch him lash out Over and Over at the people in his life who are literally just trying to help him. and it makes me want to rip my hair out, because with the way he acts sometimes it’s a wonder people even try to help at all.

innie mark is literally the complete opposite of that. he’s meek and polite and his actions aren’t tainted by grief (that he’s aware of) every waking second of the day. but he’s only that way because any and all of the fight has essentially been abused out of him. He mentions how he threatened to kill the disembodied voice when he first woke up but now he’s quick to admit to any wrongdoing before he’s been caught because he’s painfully aware of the what the alternative could be. when he and helly are about to go up the elevator that final time in S1, she asks if he’s scared and he says he’s scared /of being caught/. He’s mustered up all of this courage to rebel and he’s still scared shitless of the consequences.

Not to mention (if I’m remembering this scene correctly) that one of the earlier times he kind of “talked back” to Cobel, she proceeded to fling a mug at his head, and his immediate reaction was to people-please by asking if she wanted the office door closed or not. Jesus christ man. Slides my hands down my face

Innie mark is objectively more likeable for some of us but it’s because he’s been treated like absolute garbage. For a good chunk of S1 he’s just in this constant state of anxiety because who wouldn’t be?? And even in S2, (SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO HASNT YET WATCHED S2E1!!!!) when he barges into Milchick’s office and grabs the speaker his hands are fucking shaking, both from the adrenaline of his plan working but I’d also imagine that barging into his ex-bosses office and attempting to communicate with the Board directly goes against literally all of his conditioning and that’s gotta be terrifying.

It’s been great seeing innie mark become way more defiant than he used to be. I think it’ll be interesting continuing to root for him as the story goes on, because I know full well that as outie mark’s personality starts to shine through he could very well become more unlikeable, even though that change would be an objectively good thing. Arghhhh severance mark you make me sooooo mentally ill

Secretkeeper & Moon • I understand theres a lot of reasonable hate for Secretkeeper but!!! I find her & moon to be a very fascinating pair! To make a long ass thought short, I think Secretkeeper is the embodiment of “product of her environment & deeply traumatize & projecting”. I think she genuinely really loves moon but obviously expresses that through being “”protective””. But I think shes genuinely a character with a capacity for change & realizing the autonomy Moon has over her own powers. Also from the perspective of Moon I think her arc around her relationship with her mom could be really interesting, especially as Secretkeepers authority becomes challenged in Moons life & she has to confront the bullshit her mother has put her through. Overall very very interesting pair I think about them a lot.

Design Note: Secretkeeper is duller in color than Moon & has less stars due to lack of moon light on the island! Also the scales around her mouth are almost completely black, making her mouth barely visible, giving her the name “Secretkeeper” as she “has no mouth to tell others secrets.”

Tsunami & Starflight • Just one of my fav siblings! This specific illustration is from the Arena Scene in Dragonet Prophesy! I really really love Tsu & Starflights dynamic of looking up to eachother & their development together just. So neat!

Design Note: Starflight has very few constellation marks in this illustration as he hasnt spent much time under moonlight quite yet!

Shark & Abalone • One of my more out-there ships! I based this on the thought that Shark was once close with Abalone (cough. Husbands.) and that relates to why he was willing to give Tortoise a lunch-break from watching the eggs. He already saw someone close to him die from being overworked to watch the clutch, he didn’t want to watch another dragon die from his sisters selfishness. I could write an essay on these two I swear

Tamarin & Pike • My fav background friendship! They’re just fun. I like Pike just chillin out around Tamarin & describing flower colors to her to the best of his ability (she just likes to hear him ramble about a shared interest)

Design Notes: I updated how I draw Tamarins eyes to properly resemble a blind-born dragon ! Also Pike’s deisgn got some yellow in it and I really like it <3

Whiteout & Thoughtful • I just think they’re neat!! They just seem like a sweet pair love them

Tsunami • Its just her :) my fav dragon <3!!! I definitely dont think she upholds the “princess” title once she gets older, her only link to the throne is by Coral insisting monthly visits but Tsu otherwise wouldn’t be any interesting in royal life I would imagine

Anemone • I LOVE HER. SO MUCH ! Anemone haters BACK OFF!!!! Her relationship to her powers is so fucked man. Something you’d think would give her power & control is just a key by which others use to manipulate and abuse her like . Man :( shes literally never had any autonomy over her own identity & intermingled her powers into her identity So Much only for that aspect of herself to also be revealed to be a facade for someone else’s desires like. GUH I love her so much I hope shes having a good day I dont care what anyone says she deserves to be a brat and I support her for it

Design Note: none really! The stars in her talons are just metaphorical though

At first, it was just innocent flirting and shy smiles when you'd pass by each other. But after 2 months of it, Scott was over it. Not in the sense that he wanted to end whatever this was. It was a question. It was a statement.. and you liked that.

Soon, he started hanging out with you at lunch and after school (when football season was over so that he wouldn't miss any practice). You'd sit on the bleachers with him, watching track, tennis, or baseball while they practiced or had games. Sometimes, he'd even participate in after-school activities you liked just to spend time with you.

"Don't let anyone hear you." Scott says as he kisses down your neck. "We dont want Silvia to find us and kick us out, do we?" Silvia is the strictest security guard at school. London hasnt seen a case this high profile since the case of Harold Shipman, who killed up to 250 victims. Many feared this may be another case of Jack The Ripper, as they double checked their doors at night, hoping the serial killer wasn’t going to show up at their door. The relief that washed over the town when the police had finally caught the man whom they think is responsible for the latest killings of 20 men and women. The scenes were too graphic to show on tv.

Y/N ended up with the case. The crime scene photos were unnerving to her and interviewing the victims families made it even worse. Bile creeping up throat as she read the horrific things that happened to each victim. She wanted to know this case by the back of her hand, because of course she was up against one of the top defense attorneys in the country. He rather lost and found plot holes in every single case, having a 97% success rate with getting his clients off the hook and their record clear. She thought noone would pick up the mans case, there was so much evidence that pointed towards the man.

Harry was attractive, tall, dark hair and those piercing greenish hazel eyes. Y/N was nervous and she hated being that way. Harry often came by the law firm, having connections with anyone and everyone. His career was unmatched, he was handsome, wealthy, the whole package. Yet he was single and that blew Y/N’s mind.

Harry was just as shocked as Y/N to learn they’d facing each other in court. He was certain his client did it, but, he had to defend him anyways. He was called by the court to do it pro bono, as noone else wanted to take the case. If he lost, his numbers would certainly be impacted. If he won, people may look at him differently in a moral sense. Surely though there was a plot hole and the prosecution would slip up. He couldnt believe it was Y/N who got the case. Soft, shy, gorgeous Y/N. He already developed this small crush on her and now he had to take her on in court? Surely this wasnt a good thing. It had to be God punishing him for helping criminals and making a good living while doing so. Harry always viewed her as the more submissive type and his dirty thoughts were hard to keep at bay. Maybe that was the reason God was punishing him.

While Harry laid awake, staring at the ceiling, Y/N was doing the same. Y/N had never seen Harry in action, but, she’s heard how he’s always been strict and concise in the court room. His dominant side coming out, and that scared Y/N. Especially because she imagined him being dominant somewhere else, mainly at night when she lay in bed alone with her thoughts and hands.

The most annoying thing about attending a prestigious academy is without a doubt, pride. The deadly sin curses every individual at NRC, all of them having been told that they are destined for greatness, fate being on their side.

This obviously leads to some of the most egotistical bastards this side of the Shaftlands being cooped up all together in the same space. Also at the age where the dumbest decisions of maintaining self confidence are made.

To you, one of the many young adults cursed with being a general annoyance was Idia Shroud. You also happened to be sat right next to him.

Funnily enough Ortho was able to convince his older brother to begin attending his classes in person, a thoughtful gesture to his brother, but not to you!

Now you had to spend every day face to face with one of the most bothersome people at the school. You made your annoyance of him very clear, too. He was an anti-social shut in who somehow still thought himself better than everyone else despite being so pathetic he couldn't speak to someone face to face. How in the world was he supposed to be a talented mage?!

The most annoying part of it all was ever since he had started going out of his comfort zone he had also seemingly started to become slightly less of an ass. It was unfair. People aren't allowed to just change out of nowhere when you hate them, you're supposed to hate them!

It didn't matter anyway, Idia Shroud hated you so you were allowed to hate him, even if you suddenly started to see that he was a troubled man, untrusting because the world had wronged him before. It didn't matter if he was simply confident because of his talent that was truly better than others, he was rude anyway.

You opened the document to skim through it quickly when something near the bottom caught your eye. A small footnote about a project. A group project. A group project without pre assigned partners.

Once again you were proven right, Idia Shroud being his typical self. He didn't speak to anyone in the class so it's inevitable he had no one to do the project with, and was sharing his notes to try and guilt you into doing it with him by making you feel in his debt-

"The uh, the project at the bottom is groups of two. I think some of the people in the row who sit behind us don't have partners yet." Idia held his tablet close to him, glancing at the door.

"You already have a partner?" Impossible, he was probably just saying that to make you to be the one to ask to be in his group, to safe himself the embarrassment of having to ask.

"Yeah, Cater had already asked me to join his group. He said Trey had grouped up before he could ask him. Well, uhm, I have to go. Uh- you- you can message me if you have questions about the notes!" Idia ran out the door before you could say anything.

Something about that made your blood boil. It wasn't jealousy though, it couldn't be. No, no it was disrespect! He said that to be condescending, to brag! To shove it in your face that even a shut in like him could join a group before you. That was his plan all along! To share his notes to get you to ask about the project just to laugh at you for trying to ask to join his group. Well the joke was on him, you'd never be his partner, group project or otherwise!

Idia drank out of his own cup, a bright red drink that looked fizzier than your own. He added something to your project on his tablet at the same time. So you did. For maybe a minute before you couldn't help taking a sip. It was fruitier tasting than you expected, but not citrus or sour. You pulled the cup toward you to move the straw from the pink section to the blue, noticing that the darker color tasted more like some berry you couldn't pinpoint than the pink had. Overall it tasted good. So good, in fact, you drank almost half of it before you remembered you were supposed to be working.

You glanced up at Idia to see if he had noticed you absolutely chugging whatever drink it was he had gotten you, but either he was pretending he hadn't, or he was really into this project. You noticed only a small amount had been drank from Idia's cup.

It was a good movie too which made you even more mad. Now you'd have to think of him every time you saw it which is not what you wanted to happen.

Idia shrugged, slowly stepping away from where you were sitting. "I'll get you a drink, wait here."

"Huh, wha?" Once again Idia had left you before you could argue. He had paid for you guys to go to the movie, refusing to accept you paying him back much to your annoyance. You didn't want to be any more in his debt than you already were. You looked down, attempting to form at least a small shadow over your face, at the price of your neck, when a cold cup lightly touched the side of your face.

You jumped a moment before realizing it was Idia, and took the cup with a small 'thank you'. Once you looked at the cup properly you recognized the blue and pink colors of the cold drink, which felt particularly nice in your hands. You hadn't realized the two of you were near that cafe again, much less that they made drinks to-go.

"You, uh, you seemed to like it last time so I figured it was better to get you something I knew you'd enjoy." Idia's fingers played with the sleeve of his sweatshirt, as he glanced in every direction except for you. You looked back down at the drink again, noticing a small resemblance between the light pink if the drink and a light pink dusting the ends of Idia's bright hair.

"Stop being nice, I'm supposed to hate you." You couldn't stop yourself before you blurted out words without thinking, but you quickly caught yourself just a moment too late, slapping a hand across your mouth in shock of your own harshness.

"Huh-! I- what!?" Idia looked just as confused and shocked as anyone would, which made you rethink if he ever actually disliked you as much as you had thought. He quickly shook off his surprised state and gave you probably the most sarcastic look you had seen from him in weeks. "If you hate me why did you agree to be here...?"

Though through starring at his face, admitting your difficulty in keeping up your one sided rivalry, and being exposed to what you now could only see as genuine acts of generosity and kindness you were hit with a very quick, and very mind shattering realization.

You had feelings for Idia Shroud.

Ah, a counter. You could play this game. "Did you? You're the one who asked me to go see a movie with you."

You were hit with another wave of shock, despite prodding him with the question expecting this exact answer. You quickly responded before he could continue to convince himself you wouldn't return his feelings.

"I'd like it to be a date too!" You stepped forward, reaching to grab his hand before hesitating. He might have wanted to be on a date with you, but that didn't mean he'd be comfortable with you touching him.

"I- you- uh- I thought you hated me?"

she realizes that her and matt are different. that maybe matt isnt always right. it kinda kills the honeymoon phase that shed been stuck in for so long. this guy shes idolized in her head is kinda full of himself. hes hot and he knows it!! and he does kinda act holier than thou now and again! but holly? holly isnt religious. she hates cops. and, worst of all, she doesnt think second chances are always possible. (keep that in mind lads)

she also emphasizes with frank, and he knows it. the punisher comments on the relationship between her and matt, noticing how tense and quiet holly is being. "whats wrong, blue? he treat you the same? like he'll always be better than you?" she stays quiet and, when he finally frees them, holly leaves. she doesnt help matt fight the gang coming to kill him, nor does she just swing him to safety. her brain is short-circuiting.

enter elektra. matt begins cancelling hang outs with holly, stops talking to her as much, and is, overall, pulling away from her. understandably, holly asks if its about elektra or karen and- of course- matt denies this. after seeing him kiSS elektra, though, holly feels as if hes throwing out everything they had together. its like the 'you vs the girl he tells you not to worry about" except the other girl is a MURDERER?? holly is pissed. now, she knows she wasnt entitled to a relationship with him, but shes still hurt after all the blood, sweat, and tears she put into their friendship / partnership. matt finally calls her, trying to let her down gently, but they end up arguing and holly hangs up on his ass hjkgf. NEITHER of them can handle stress, clearly, and the elektra/frank one-two is TOO much for them

although matt expected holly to eventually cool down, that was not in the plans. to his horror, holly actually AIDS the punisher. she brings him food, gets information for him, and does whatever the fuck she wants until the defenders series

understandably, frank goes under the radar, and holly is left on her own. she watches whatever the fuck is happening in the defenders, and is trying to decide whether or not she wants to help when a BUILDING COLLPASES. AND FOGGY CALLS HER TO TELL HER MATT FUCKIN DIED.

JEEZ.

at this point, holly's mental health has been stretched thin. this girl had already gone through three mental crisis before her first 'canon' appearance, so all this stress has been weighing her HEAVILY on her. she misses having someone to work with. frank is gone. matt is gone. the sokovia accords make her a wanted criminal AND shit is getting worse with every month. theres also another spider person in the picture, and hes backed by stark technology!! how the hell is she supposed to compare to him? shes just holly! holly holly holly! and you know what holly is, besides inferior to this new guy on the scene? holly is alone! she doesnt have friends. she hates nyc. and everyone shes ever loved is GONE!!

one night, while out on patrol, she finds herself watching researchers moving their equipment into trucks and airplanes. theyre moving, apparently! luckily, no one attacks the scientists. one of them drops something, sure, but thats fine, right? no. holly goes to inspect the broken glass, and the green liquid that had spilled onto the asphalt comes to life, seeping into her skin and binding with her.

this is malice.

malice doesn't exactly explain what it is to holly; it just promises her power. now she'll be able to keep up with all these big name heroes, and can keep protecting her city no matter what comes her way. what the symbiote DOESNT explain, however, is the fact that shes both slowly killing holly AND manipulating her. malice uses her anger and loneliness and converts it into an indescribable rage. she stops pulling her punches. she blacks out as soon as the sun goes down, and wakes up the next morning with blood on her hands and suit.

after a few weeks, she looks at herself in the mirror and, despite her healing factor, she finds someone sickly looking back at her. holly's hair is thinning, her skin is turning yellow, her eyes are turning green, and there are huge, black splotches spreading across her body.

she is dying. malice is using everything holly has to satiate its hunger, and doesnt give a fuck about the effects its having on its host. worse case scenario, theyre in new york! malice can find some other sad vigilante once holly dies.

but holly doesnt lay down and die!!!!!! she goes through newspapers, searching for anything that can help her, and eventually lands on doctor stephen strange. surely he can help, right? he's a weird, magical doctor that does crazy, otherworldly shit. if anyone can do something, its him.

and so, she pulls herself up by her bootstraps, and limps her way to the sanctum sanctorum, where the sorcerer supreme exorcises the symbiote from her body using FIRE!!! this way, malice isn't just contained, malice is DEAD. and holly gets to live!!! yay!! she can go back to living her life and being happy, right?

cut to my dear, stubborn holly forcing herself to tolerate matt again. at this point, she finds him insufferable (and hot, still, but mostly insufferable), and is continuing to struggle with her emotions towards him. nonetheless, she keeps as much distance from him as possible, but helps him defeat fisk + dex. now, with them out of the way, she couldve gotten back with matt, right? that, or she could find frank and team-up with him. no. holly doesnt do any of that. she doesnt even flirt with her pen pal, eddie brock, who she's been talking to regarding their mutual symbiote experiences. holly just stays in new york. miserable, self-hating, and full of regret. despite being a hero, she still feels like shes fucked up her whole life.

then the snap happens. hollys only two friends seemingly die and the world feels terribly bleak. even after everyone is revived, nothing feels the same. how is she supposed to recover from all this shit? how does she pick everything back up and move on??? shes a mutate, sure, but shes also a reclusive, mentally ill mess. life is bad, and she's not contributing much to society anymore. how is she supposed to help people now? shes not captain america. shes not iron man. she feels miserable.

we've recently noticed just how pathetic you are, ma'am. it seems like a real waste of your powers! how would you like to team up with a particular red-suited superhero and help us protect the sacred timeline? it'll give you a sense of purpose!

oh, the other guy? yeah! he goes by deadpool! you'll like him. maybe.

understandably, holly is kinda confused. she knew aliens and shit existed, but what the fuck is the sacred timeline?? dimensions?! what the hell is going on?? desperate for anything that'll prove that shes not useless, she accepts the deal and eventually meets wade wilson. and good god is he annoying. imagine spideypool, spiderman has forgotten to take his lexapro for a few days. holly is pretty fuckin annoyed, but surprisingly takes his side when paradox announces that he's going to destroy wade's universe. yeah, she has no real stake in this conflict. but paradox is cocky and pisses holly off.

cut to her, wade, and logan stuck in the void. they look like a set of fingerpaints when they stand together. holly tries to prevent the two guys from fighting, but she can't separate them; her healing factor CANNOT deal with all these fucking blades. especially not after she had to deal with nobu and THIS thing

she has been filleted like a fish once, and respectfully sits out during any fighting between them. that, or she webs them up. unfortunately, she cant really protect herself when cassandra's gang pull out a huge magnet + both wade and logan pin her to it- smushing the trio.

back at their little headquarters, cassandra explores holly's mind, going through the layers of trauma this girl keeps folding up and hiding in the recesses of her brain. she mocks holly for letting a man hold so much power over her, and degrades her for being so useless in the grand scheme of things. she's fumbled every relationship she's tried to maintain, and, even though holly's powers were the only thing that kept her going, the other woman claims that they'll never be enough. wade, logan, and holly suddenly look AND feel like the biggest fucking losers in the world, and proceed to beat the fuck out of each other in a honda odyssey.

upon waking up in a random 'house', holly proceeds to watch logan drown his sorrows as she thinks about everything shes ever done wrong.

just as wade wakes up, GUESS WHO WALKS IN? ELEKTRA. Not HER elektra, BUT ITS STILL ELEKTRA. holly begins to spiral more than before, remaining quiet and shocked for the entirety of the conversation. the only thing that pulls her out of it for a moment is blade saying a slur + remy flustering her.

things pick up a bit from here. even though holly is losing it, the fact that shes part of a little team helps with her psyche. she also starts breaking the fourth wall a bit more + is a bit more sarcastic than she'd ever been (much how i expect a comic version of her would be.) theres a lot more spider-person typical quips coming from her!!

holly honestly expects to die during the big fight. she thinks that shes at the end of her story- she's run her course like elektra and blade- but a combination of her spider-sense and logan dont let her die.

cassandra tries to butter her up like she does to logan. like oh..... wades an annoying prick.. imagine the power we could have together....... but holly is sick of listening to other people and having them lead her. she'd been doing that for so fuckin long!!!!! even after trying to tell her she can erase the piles upon piles of trauma shes repressed, holly tells her to fuck off, and wade manages to finally subdue her.

theres not really much to say once they get to the time ripper scene. paradox tells them that whoever tries to stop it will die (no matter the healing factor) and holly sees this as her opportunity to make up for what she believes is her sad, little existence. after all, she thinks it makes sense for her to die. why have one of the immortal crime-fighters die when it could be her? of course, it doesnt turn out this way, and all three of them survive.

now holly happily lives with her two new friends in this new universe. hope this doesnt cause an incursion.

and they live happily ever after

been having some thinky thoughts today, and for a while, rly, abt my Feelings abt breathing underwater and i tried to type something up on twitter but that jsut was not letting me think my thoughts correctly

i love BU........... so goddamn much. it started out as nothing more than a silly idea abt little mermaid ed meeting stede and kind of ballooned into what ive built it up into today. it's so important to me... but it's making me a little miserable right now?

miserable because i dont want to work on it, but i WANT TO want to work on it, i want to tell this story and read the finished product, ive got so many ideas, but i just. cannot get myself to do the actual WORK of making sentences and then staging all the pics........... what used to be a fun little pastime now feels like a chore, an obligation, a compulsion almost. it sucks, but it sucks more NOT doing it, you know what i mean? idk.

i know ive built it up into this big THING to myself, like... idk, i do this so often, i have big ideas and love to plan and organize them and then i get going with such intensity until i abruptly fizzle out. i start things and dont finish them, and i guess i just rly dont want this to be another thing that gets thrown on my unfinished projects pile :/

i have the next 2 parts drafted, but every time i go back to poke at them and edit them i just get so disheartened because it's obvious that my heart wasn't really in writing them, and it's difficult to salvage a rough draft like that. part of me wants to just delete those parts entirely and say fuck it im taking an indefinite hiatus, and i will start fresh when this is fun again! which would probably be the best thing, actually, but... i am reluctant to do that, because i just dont have anything else to rly fill my time rn.

i havent been getting a lot of joy out of... anything, rly, for a long time now, im so bored and apathetic and even my normal go to things arent cutting it anymore. and idk if it's a depression thing or if im truly outgrowing some interests, but either way i know i need to get more Things in my life somehow, because writing and sims are my two biggest pastimes, and then i combined them, and then i got sick of both so ive got so little to go on! so i keep poking at the things that i used to love, hoping to find that spark again 😪 i love these little guys and their little world!!! and it makes me sad that im not actually having Fun with the PROCESS.

it doesn't help that i am constantly torn between man i wish more ppl read my fic!!! i work so hard on it!! and man i never want anyone to perceive me or my writing ever it's so amateur!! idk what i want and idk what i want to DO about it!!

so, idk!! idk where this is all going, lol, i just... wanted to try and organize these thoughts somehow.

trying to reason w myself that at the end of the day, i am writing a fanfiction. that's it. it's not that big of a deal, and yet it feels huge to me, somehow. I don't wanna let down the ppl who are reading it, and i dont wanna let myself down again, either.

BUT it's not supposed to make me feel miserable it is supposed to be fun i am lowkey crying rn because like urghghghgh why isnt it fun?!!?!

so. i think i gotta do some more thinking, because not making any kind of decision is making things worse! and idk, if all of this hasnt put u off of the idea of my fic, here is the series page lmfao i could use some encouragement i guess......

but i am going to seriously put more thought into an official hiatus, because i think i am getting Too preoccupied with it again and it's messing with me!!!

i actually had a decent time doing those kitty ed pics today, even tho they didn't do so hot, so maybe i am just gonna try to focus on that kind of thing, doing stuff that actually catches my attention, and also doing things without the intention of sharing them at all. allowing things to be messy. i get so caught up in the thought of someone else seeing my work that i paralyze myself trying to make it PERFECT.

i had a decent time doing that oneshot from ed's pov as well. so maybe i need to work on projects that are a bit smaller scale. i dont have to say goodbye to BU stuff forever, but i am just so ALL OR NOTHING that it feels like a way bigger decision than it actually is 😓

so i guess....... im gonna sleep on it for a while. think about it and try and come to a firm decision. because if i take a break, i need to REALLY take a break, which includes not thinking about it all the time and constantly beating myself up for not doing it 😅

oooh Im just imagining Steve like outside of Tonys lab remembering the times where the team hasnt separated yet and him remembering the moments where they bicker and argue like a married couple like what Nat says all the time and that brings a pained smile to Steves faces but that doesnt last long cus of yknow him lying to Tony about his Parents death, him and Bucky fighting Tony without choice cus Tony wanted Bucky dead and the worst of all him Smashing his shield into Tony arc reactor which at the same was his literal heart and i know Steve is feeling so many emotions like guilt, regret, and anger. But he always tells himself that he had to smash his shield into Tonys arc reactor cause he will not stop until Bucky was dead so he had to do it right? Steve getting a headache from that so he decided to leave but was stoppped cus he heard a sniffing noise inside Tony labs so he investigated and found Peter AKA Spider-man on the floor hugging one of Tony iron man helmets and when Steve says Peters name he lets out a surprise yelp before looking up to see Steve and when Steve asked if hes alright and when Peter tried to form a lie Steve just gives him a frown and that made Peter stop and just looks down not even trying to lie infront of Steve

and when Steve asked if he can sit next to him Peter says he can Steve asked Peter if he wants to talk about it and Peter replies saying he doesnt want to be a bother and Steve of course assures him he is not being a bother so Peter tells Steve how much he missed Tony and how he cant sleep without having nightmares where Tony died when he used the gauntlet and is now even thinking he will die from the coma and Peter starts crying again and before Peter can react Steve just brings him into a big warm hug and Steve whisper assurance to Peter saying Tony will not die and Peter asks how does he know and Steve says he doesnt but he does know Tony is too stubborn to die and that made Peter let out a wet chuckle minutes passed when they finally stopped hugging and theyre were just in a comfortable silence when Peter breaks it by asking Steve why he was visiting Tonys lab and when Steve lied saying he heard Peters sniffs and wanted to investigated it. Peter replying he can tell Steve is lying and Steve lets out a defeated sigh and tells Peter everything from Bucky, The Accords, Tonys Parents and Siberia and the guilt the comes with it. and the only thing Steve wants is just to apologize to Tony for everything. Peter says hes not the only one who feels guilty and Steve looks at him with confusion as Peter continues that even though Tony cant admit he knows he was wrong on some things but his stubbornness makes it difficult, he also felt guilty on trying to kill Bucky back in siberia and it took some time to realize that both of them were victims of hydra and Tony was so blinded by rage to realize it, he also mentioned the times he caught Tony watching old Captain America films and Peter even knew Tony missed Steve Peter thought for a seconds and said that theyre both idiots for not talking like adults and Steve chuckled at that and agrees with him on that but Peter says even though they cant change the past they can learn from it so they dont make the same mistakes and Steve smiled and so did Peter cus they know things will get better
