Crisis parts 1-3 Thoughts

Overall it was very good as episodes of non-Arrow arrowverse. So, I liked it all and enjoyed it, but not enough Oliver and Arrow characters. But the Arrow episode is coming. 

Barry being the paragon of love checks out

If they are trying to sell to me the idea that all of the other leads are paragons and Oliver is NOT, then they better make that up to me in a BIG way with this whole specter thing (I know I could look up what the Specter is in the comics but I’m not going to)

getting Oliver’s soul back was surprisingly easy, to the point that I’m not even sure why they included the whole thing about him not having his memory

in general there were several story lines that were just.... super easy. 

I’m so grateful to the Monitor for giving Cisco his powers back. Hopefully he keeps them. 

it’s hilarious to me that the rest of the Legends just. aren’t around. 

it’s also hilarious to me how small Hoechlin looks next to Tom Welling and Brandon Routh

I like evil Batman a lot

we got a Titans cameo! But I’m incredibly confused why it was only Hawk and Robin. Even typing that pair of names together confuses me. It’s like 10 seconds of footage-- could you really not get any of the others? 

I like Ryan Choi he can stay

Barry and Iris just have SUCH GOOD moments together. Paragon of love indeed. 

Poor Jefferson. Just suddenly doesn’t know where he is, gets the “there are multiple earths” bombshell dropped on him, finds out everyone he knows is dead, meets a whole bunch of weird superheroes, then dies. What a day. 

Seriously there’s not enough Oliver. Or dig. Or Mia

The random Future Alternate Star City side quest was kinda just odd. I get that it was to give Sara a moment with Oliver before he died. But it was another one of those “this was weirdly easy” sub missions

I like Paragon Superman he’s not very bright

Snart gets to be the Gideon voice!!

Furthermore it’s funny to me that it being an alternate Mick Rory has absolutely no bearing on the story. 

Diggle and Mia’s roles were small but they were good

I actually liked what they did with Sara’s interactions with Mia and Oliver

the Lucifer cameo was fun

I never watched Smallville but I really liked the Tom Welling cameo. Him catching Lex’s punch and just kind of pushing him over was super satisfying

on that note, Lex is super annoying and shortsighted and i wish the antimatter had gotten him

I just wanted them to use soulless oliver to fight a bunch of stuff

Lois and Iris is a good friendship but I miss the Iris/Felicity friendship

Barry being determined to bring Oliver back made my heart happy

I wish they’d done more to make me care about Nash before all of this started

I don’t begrudge the whole “go talk to evil Bruce to find out that Kate is the real paragon” thing, but it was very predictable

Lian Yu being Oliver’s purgatory is nice

What did Jonah want with that mine anyway? and what’s the timeline on all that? 

So are we done with the whole “Barry’s gonna thing?

How did they even go to Star City 2046? I thought time travel was a no go because of Crisis

I like seeing Lyla so involved even if it’s weird Lyla

Iris had some really goo moments too

aaaaand yeah it was fun
