Tysm anon, these were such fun questions to work on and I'm always thrilled to get a chance to think about my faves! I appreciate it so much!

📚 BOOKS — what level of education has your oc most recently completed/is currently in (GED, undergraduate, grad school, phd, etc)?

Julian finished undergrad and that's where he stopped. He was never especially fond of school (he always did well without really trying, but found it incredibly boring and the atmosphere unpleasant) and wasn't going to go to college at all, especially since his parents weren't offering any financial support. But his aunts really encouraged him to go on their dime, and study whatever he wanted so he got his BFA in music composition and minored in studio art. He's not especially interested in pursuing anything further, other than private music lessons to improve his skills but occasionally he kicks around the idea of a conservatory program for piano if he gets more serious about it.

Niko most recently completed his PhD in art history, he also has his masters in museology. He's always been SUCH an overachiever when it comes to school and academics (he double majored in undergrad, and has always been at the top of his class in school at every level), and while he's not currently in any program he's not opposed to the idea of it and would probably leap at the chance to do another degree if the opportunity came along.

💛 YELLOW HEART — how many languages does your oc speak? what language(s) are they learning, if any?

Julian's fluent in English and French, and has learned quite a bit of Greek for Niko's family - he's probably in between a B1-B2 on the CEFR scale. He's working on improving his Greek more than anything, but he's not averse to picking up little bits of Italian or German from Niko and Saoirse. He finds languages really interesting to dabble in, even if he's not looking to become fluent in them.

Niko's fluent in English and Greek (he grew up bilingual), as well as Italian which he studied through school and undergrad. He's around a C1 in French, and at about the B2 level in German, both of which he started learning later because they're both so vital in art history studies. He lowkey hates speaking German though, and tends to stick more to reading and writing in it while he's happy to speak French.

Elijah's only fluent in English, but he's learning Korean mostly on his own with the help of one of his teammates, Flora. He's still very much a beginner at it, somewhere between A2-B1 on the CEFR scale. He took Spanish in school but has forgotten pretty much everything he learned since he never used it.

Alexei speaks English fluently, and while he's not fluent in either he's relatively advanced in both Spanish and French. He's a bit better in Spanish (especially with speaking) as he took it in school and didn't start learning French until he was an adult. He's probably close to C1 in Spanish, and B2 in French. He's a bit like Julian in that he just finds languages really interesting and tends to pick them up easily, so they're a fun hobby for him.

☕️ HOT BEVERAGE — does your oc prefer coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk, water, or some other drink? how do they like to take this drink (ex. coffee with milk, hot chocolate with whipped cream, a specific kind of tea, etc)?

Niko is all about tea lattes and while he prefers a good chai latte, he'll drink matcha lattes or earl grey lattes as well. He'll drink coffee, but generally doesn't enjoy it. Every great once in a while he likes a good, really rich cup of dark chocolate hot cocoa. He's not really a fan of water overall - he'll drink it because it's necessary, but it's boring. He prefers sparkling, and would rather it be flavored.

Julian probably loves sparkling water than anything else. He just finds it really refreshing, unlike still water which he thinks tastes kind of stale. He's not a big fan of coffee overall, it makes him feel a bit jittery, so he usually sticks to tea. He loves green and white teas, he definitely prefers them over black teas which he finds can get a bit bitter and unpleasant.

Alexei's an iced coffee boy. Even if it's cold out, that's what he wants. He has a few favorite drinks from Literati that he loves, but will often make himself a big travel cup of it at home (with fancy syrups) to take to work with him. They always keep a jug of cold brew concentrate in the fridge to use as a base and he goes through it pretty quickly (less quickly now that he knows you're supposed to dilute it).

Elijah's one true love is matcha, and he makes himself all sorts of fancy concoctions and lattes with it. But he loves coffee too, and fancy hot cocoa. Don't make him choose between his children, he literally works at a coffee shop and will try anything once.

🤔 THINKING FACE — what are some of your oc's quirks/mannerisms?

Okay, this is the hard one! This is something I hadn't really considered before so I don't have a ton for you (sorry!), but here's what I've managed to think of for them over the last few days.

Niko talks with his hands, especially when he's talking about something he's really passionate about. He's also a fidgeter when he's stressed or trying to focus himself - he alternates between bouncing his leg under the table if he's sitting, tapping his fingertips against the table or any flat surface in front of him or, if neither of those things are an option, twisting one of the many rings he wears as a fidget.

Julian is 100% a lip biter when he's worried, or stressed, or concentrating. When he's really focusing on something, he'll stick the tip of his tongue out just a tiny bit which Niko finds ridiculously cute. Julian has no idea that he does this, and Niko will never tell him because he knows if he does Julian will get embarrassed about it and stop doing it.

Alexei taps the tip of his pen or pencil against his desk when he's reading essays or parent e-mails or whatever, usually to the rhythm of whatever song's currently stuck in his head. He's also a hummer and will often be humming something under his breath quietly when he's trying to concentrate on something.

Elijah furrows his brow when he's concentrating on something and he doesn't realize he's doing it until Alexei's stroking the pad of his thumb between his eyebrows to release it. He tends to doodle absentmindedly whenever he's left with a pencil or pen and something he can draw on - could be the back of an envelope, a cocktail napkin or an actual notebook. He's also incapable of sitting in a chair properly - he's either sprawled out in it with a leg hooked over one arm, perched on the edge with his feet tucked up under him or leaning back in it.

Preferred drinks for each main Atlas:

Starting with Rosalie, in college was very big on coffee with a little cream and a little bit of sugar. Over time, as her classes got a bit easier and she removed certain individuals that were causing stress, she ended trying different variations of coffee and how it's made.

As an adult, Rosalie has a decent balance of Coffee, water/juice, and tea in the evening to relax or calm down after a long day. Sometimes if she's feeling lazy and doesn't want to cook or actually eat food ( we've all had those days ), she'll make smoothies instead and call it a meal.

Despite being a bartender, Tyler actually doesn't drink heavily at all. He's the type to drink more energy drinks and water than any other Atlas. Sometimes he'll have a beer or a glass of wine with a meal he cooks just so everything compliments one another, but where's not at the bar or at home, he'll have some kind of energy drink in hand, or a large bottle of water. When he's out with friends or his sisters, he'll drink whatever they're drinking, but most of the time he doesn't finish it and will always end up throwing it away at some point.

As Tyler got older, he did ease up on the sugary drinks, only having one energy drink when he wakes up to start his day, and then drinking water throughout the day. If he's having a really bad day, he'll make his mother's secret recipe of tea that she would make when he was a boy to calm his nerves. He's never given that recipe out and he only makes it for good friends and significant others. Someone who's earned his trust.

Out of all the siblings, Victoria is the biggest tea drinker, but she does NOT drink sweet tea. She prefers to grow her tea leaves in her greenhouse or in her home. If she's out in public, she'll go for flower-based teas just to get ideas on how to grow them herself. Victoria will rarely drink coffee but if she does, she enjoys lavender lattes.

As an adult, Victoria still drinks tea, but also understands the importance of starting your day with coffee. If she doesn't have time to make a lavender latte, she drinks her coffee black. In the evening, she enjoys a nice glass of red wine, the older the better in her opinion. Other than that, like her brother, she tries her best to drink as much water as possible to stay hydrated( almost like a plant ).

it's the most convenient method of travel fr... the only 2 things preventing us from travelling all over teyvat in this way is 1) seeing a dragon flying overhead would scare any humans, and 2) the air up there is freezing, so i'd turn into an ice statue if we go up there for too long lol

oghhh personally we all love to try out different tea types! especially zhongli and wriothesley! but we do have preferred 'tastes' that we usually tend to lean towards. i prefer light, floral or fruity blends (e.g. osmanthus, strawberry). zhongli likes a smoky, dark, heavily steeped teas (e.g. pu-erh, souchong). wriothesley likes the classic, simple and straightforward flavors (e.g. black tea, peppermint). and al haitham's a fan of hōjicha and only hōjicha lmao. how about you and your hubbies? <3

What The Redacted Characters Would Get

(this is just my opinion, but as a barista this is also the correct opinion /j)

Shaw Pack:

David- you might think he'd just get like, a black coffee, you'd be wrong. He gets a hot white mocha triple with no whip, only sometimes he'll get it iced. Depending on how exhausted he is, he'll add more shots.

(dumb head cannon time, a regular (s) comes in and gets a hot triple white mocha and a iced triple white mocha with no whip. It's a couple, and they alternate who gets the drinks every couple days. I think it'd be kind of cute if David's dad and mom used to do the same, and now David drinks a hot triple white mocha with no whip because of his parents, specifically his dad)

Asher- he used to get pink drinks all the time, but then David realized that all the refreshers have a shit ton of caffeine, so now he gets a strawberry creme frappe with a scoop of vanilla bean powder. It's still very sweet, and a lot of sugar, but it does not have caffeine which everyone is appreciative of.

Milo- iced caramel macchiato with almond milk and a quad shot, this man is lactose intolerant and you cannot tell me otherwise. And no, he does not care that Starbucks doesn't make a 'correct' macchiato, it tastes good and has caffeine, so he doesn't care.

side note, Aggro has tried a pup cup before, it did give him explosive diarrhea (as it does to a lot of pets). Milo will never give him another one, however, sweetheart did make the mistake of feeding him one early in their relationship, and it also ended an explosive diarrhea. So Aggro is no longer allowed pup cups

Christian- Normally he gets a iced Americano, but if he's going to a pack meeting he gets a pink drink just to spite Asher.

Angel- a Connoisseur of seasonal drinks. Tries each of the seasonal releases until they find one they love, and drinks it until it's gone. If there aren't any seasonal drinks, or they don't like them, they get a peppermint mocha frappe (because yes, Starbucks does have peppermint year round)

Baabe- Iced matcha latte with caramel syrup and drizzle. Matcha has a decent amount of caffeine and Starbuck matcha is also mostly sugar, so it's a nice pick me up. If it's too cold for that, they'll get a hot chocolate.

Sweetheart- This bitch (affectionate) gets two vanilla sweet cream nitro cold brews and a venti cup of ice, bc the biggest size of nitro cold brew Starbucks can legally sell is a grande bc of all the caffeine. So this bitch (again, affectionate) gets two and pours them into one cup. Milo is very concerned for their health.

Darlin'/Tank- like sweetheart, I see them wanting/needing a shit ton of caffeine, so they also get two nitro cold brews. But they'd probably go from the salted caramel cream cold brew and would drink them separately.

Solaire Clan: (idc if canonically caffeine doesn't affect them, I make my own rules bitch)

William- Hot mocha with raspberry syrup. I know that sounds weird, but it basically tastes like chocolate strawberries. His drinks have changed over time, but currently this is his favorite.

Alexis- Blonde roast with caramel and oatmilk. This sounds simple, but fun fact: Starbucks stops brewing blonde & dark after 11am (mostly smaller stores do this), and she always comes after that and ends up having the baristas make a pour over, then bitches over how long it takes to get her drink.

Vincent- French vanilla latte, which at Starbucks is vanilla and hazelnut, so it's very sweet. He also gets it with oatmilk, just bc it tastes good. Gets it either hot or iced depending.

Sam- London fog latte, no water. I see him as a tea guy, idk. Sometimes he gets a few shots in it, but it depends.

Lovely- chai creme frappe. They like chai (even if the Starbucks chai is not even close in taste to real chai lol) and normally get it with cinnamon powder on top and in it.

D.A.M.N:

Gavin- Changes every time, since he doesn't need nutrients, he just wants sugar and fun tasting shit (this also goes for the vamps, but more for Gavin) he will make up the most random combinations, but if it's super busy he'll try to be simpler for the poor baristas. Mostly fruity combos and overly sweet frappes.

Damien- iced soy latte with 3 stevia, with a minimum of four shots, maximum he's done is, like 11 (Yes, I have put 11 shots in an espresso drink, I imagine it tasted like shit). He's basic but really just needs caffeine and something to hydrate so he'll ask for a water too.

Huxely- matcha. and if you say it tastes like grass to this man, he will say yes, it does, but he likes grass. Probably gets a matcha frappe to be specific, sometimes asks for vanilla syrup. Very sweet and caffeinated.

Lasko- here's the dilemma, tired boi needs caffeine, but anxious boi does not need caffeine. So with friends around he gets decaf, but by himself... Iced brown sugar shaking espresso with six blonde shots. No, he's not hiding his caffeine intake, he wouldn't be very good at it if he tried it lol.

Kody- tiny bitch boy (extremely hostile) gets an extra dry vanilla cappuccino, and will send it back at least once because he says "it's not dry enough".

Freelancer- strawberry acia lemonade refresher, with peach juice, no strawberry pieces, and light ice. That's their go to, however, if they need more caffeine, they will order just an iced quad espresso with liquid sugar.

Calleum- there's this weird "secret menu" item called the cotton candy frappe, which is really just a vanilla bean frap with raspberry syrup, that is what he gets, and he would also like chocolate drizzle and chocolate crumbles on top. He is not allowed to have caffeine, I don't care if it affects daemons or not, he's not allowed to have it.

Everyone else:

Aaron- boring bitch (affectionate) just gets a medium roast coffee with light cream. He wants to put the splenda in himself, I don't know why but he does. Smartass has convinced him to get an espresso frappuccino with a shot on top, he didn't hate it. So that's progress.

SmartAss- gets an espresso frappuccino, three shots, add whip. Basically an iced expresso with milk, but blended with some sugar. If it is freezing cold, they will just get it a triple expresso with heavy cream and sugar, but that is rare.

Ollie- very simple, non-fat vanilla latte, sometimes gets it iced, sometimes it's hot. However, he will always ask for a pup cup to take home for his cat (Yes, I did forget his cat's name) because unlike Aggro, it does not give Ollie's cat explosive diarrhea.

Baby- Get a sweet cream cold brew with light ice and extra sweet cream. Also asks for extra vanilla. For some reason I get vanilla flavored vibes from Ollie and Baby as a couple, not in a sexy way, just in a flavoring way. idk.

Geordie- He needs caffeine, but if he is over caffeinated his brain will basically short circuit and then he will take a two hour long nap. So he sticks to iced coffee, with sweet cream and caramel syrup. However, he also likes the hot chocolate with caramel in it as well. It depends on the day.

Cutie- iced shaken espresso with chocolate cream cold foam. The shaken expressos come with classic sweetener, which they like, and an extra shot. They will mix in the cold foam and the espresso so it tastes more like chocolate, without having to add any other syrups.

Elliot- French vanilla iced coffee with two blonde shots and soy milk. He gives me soy milk vibes, for some unknown reason. He doesn't always get the blonde shots, but more often than not he does. Iced coffee only has so much caffeine, and he has lots of work to do.

Sunshine- a medicine ball, which is another name for a honey citrus mint tea. It is jade citrus mint & peach tranquility tea, half steamed lemonade, half hot water, with honey blend. They like it because it's sweet, and doesn't have too much caffeine.

Guy- He tries all the different TikTok drinks, his favorite being an iced white mocha, sub whip for sweet cream cold foam, with caramel drizzle and lining the cup (This started being ordered like a couple months ago, and it hasn't stopped lol)

Honey- a honey almond flat white, with extra honey blend (This was not intentionally a pun, but now it is) it's sweet, but they can add as many espresso shots as they need. And they need it.

Up the Hill

"What do you think about moving out of the city?" She asks, not hesitantly, but a little haltingly. Like she thinks he'll want to stay here, in their little apartment where they'd moved right after they got married, and she doesn't want to press it too hard. Neither of them has had one, solid place to stay for a very long time. Maybe it's time they did.

Raleigh's immediate, almost-before-she-finishes-her-sentence response is, "I've always wanted to build my own house."

Mako's whole face lights up, and then Raleigh mirrors her grin, and they're looking up properties for sale by evening. They don't care where it is, anywhere calm and safe where they can make a home. A place they can stay, for a very long time.

It's just outside a reasonably sized town, a place that looks like a snapshot picture taken long before the Kaiju War. The property is down a long driveway, up a long, mellow hill. It's fall when they sign the papers, and the leaves on the trees are vivid red as they drive through the valley. There's a foundation in place already, a framework in place for whatever they're going to build together.

They design it together, of course, with plans to build a detached garage later on — for tinkering, mostly Mako's, but to keep Raleigh's tools as well — and Raleigh starts building as soon as spring hits. He's always enjoyed this kind of work, though the majority of his experience is more industrial. Now, he's building using logs and timbers instead of metal beams and panels. It's different, but he likes it.

Mako climbs up onto the framework with him one day in the middle of the warmest summer he's experienced in years, and they eat lunch right there, looking down over the half-finished house the same way they'd looked out over Gipsy Danger in the Shatterdome almost five years before. How far, geographically, emotionally, relationally, they've come.

Raleigh has never been the best at domestics with anyone but his brother. There was an uncomfortable adjustment period, directly following their marriage, that neither of them had known what to do with a semi-normal life. They'd spent most of their time following the destruction of the Breach focused on cleanup and recovery efforts, still living in the Shatterdome for nearly a year afterwards.

Even when Raleigh had finally gotten up the guts to get down on one knee — which hadn't even surprised Mako, latent drift and all — they'd still been working out of one base or another, traveling around mostly together, but often not. The apartment was their first step back into a world where Jaeger pilots weren't needed any longer, and it was more like stepping down a set of stairs when you thought you were at the bottom already. Neither of them was prepared for what normalcy meant — grocery shopping, delegating household chores, Mako's twice-yearly need to rearrange all the furniture. It was intensely uncomfortable for about a month, before they finally, finally managed to relax into it, and into each other again.

Now, with a truck (and a car) packed full of boxes, ready to move in to a house that is solely, fully theirs, both of them are ready to tagteam making the bed, tidying the living room, checking for any final unwashed spoons (from sneaking ice cream) or mugs (late night tea) before sinking silently into bed. It's fall again, and according to the locals the first snow should hit soon — perfect timing for finishing a house. Raleigh convinces Mako halfway up the hill to let him carry her over the threshold.

His work building the house, along with past credentials that make a trail across coastal Alaska, catches the attention of some of the locals in town, and within another few months, Raleigh has a steady job working with a local construction company. Mako does not let him kiss her, or try to surprise hug her from behind — which doesn't work, anyway, he can't surprise her — until he's washed his hands. She's a hypocrite, the way her hands are often stained with grease from whatever vintage or otherwise car she's tinkering with, so half the time they both end up smeared with the residue of each other's labor.

They keep to themselves, there in their cabin up the hill, but they aren't hermits. Mako's mechanical engineering skills make her popular with the town's teenagers, particularly those looking for a skill to learn. If they're willing to drive — or, in some cases, bike — up the hill, they can fiddle around with her in the big detached garage with all her pieces and parts. One boy, a quiet, curious-eyed high schooler living with his aunt downtown, walks up the driveway in mid-September to show off a robotics project. That night, Mako sits at the kitchen island and makes a phone call to the school's principal.

"Do you have a robotics club?" She asks, not hesitantly, but unsure. She's still an outsider to many people here. She waves over her shoulder at Raleigh as he walks into the room, before he even says anything. When the principal says no, is there interest? Her face lights up and she replies, "I have interest in starting one."

So: Raleigh with his construction work to keep him from going stir-crazy and purposeless, Mako with her robotics club and a gaggle of teens around her — most of whom surpass her in height, which Raleigh takes far too much pleasure in pointing out and gets elbowed in the ribs over quite often — and a place they can stay for a very long time.

There's a secondhand shop in town, across the street from Raleigh's favorite grocery store. Their deal is that he does the grocery shopping, which Mako hates — "You take too long," she complains, "Just get what we need and be done!" — while she putters around the thrift store. The mantelpiece of their fireplace at home is cluttered with little trinkets and knickknacks.

Their second Christmas in the house they built up the hill, they drive out to a tree farm an hour away and pick a bushy, fragrant fir. Jake is coming for Christmas, Raleigh's invited Tendo too, and the fake tree they'd brought from the apartment and used last year currently resides in the garage for the robotics club kids to have a small celebration around. Mako has never had a live Christmas tree, and Raleigh suddenly feels as if he's failed her — so, a live tree they shall have.

It probably takes up too much space, but it fits, including a silver and gold star on the topmost point. Mako sits on Raleigh's shoulders to hook an absolutely ridiculous amount of ornaments — half of which were collected from the secondhand shop, little trinkets that probably meant something different to their original owners — to the upper section of branches. It isn't until a little too late that they realize they should have strung the lights around first.

"Save some for the kids to decorate the little tree," Raleigh says over his shoulder, heading into the kitchen to drop off empty hot cocoa mugs. He pauses, then, turns back. Mako is facing away from him, her hand hesitating over a branch, poised to hang another ornament. Her head is tipped to the side, as if she's thinking hard about something.

Something quiet prods at Raleigh's mind, but he can't discern it. Something about her kids, about the way he'd said it so casually — the kids are almost a constant presence, when they aren't holding meetings at the high school; both he and Mako have gotten used to the questions about Jaeger piloting by now — and it's playing along the edges of their remaining drift bond, a quiet loop that's more vague feeling than words.

Mako places the ornament, a silver and blue fish, on the tree, and Raleigh turns away again. He zones out a little bit, watching snow blow off the eaves just outside the kitchen window. Mako won't stay quiet if something is bothering her, but he doesn't think something is. For a moment, he considers refilling his cocoa cup, but it's probably not a good idea. He's driving to the airport in the morning to pick up Jake; a sugar high to keep him awake isn't much help.

Still, it's nearly midnight by the time the lights are strung — slightly tangled with ornaments — and the remainder of the decorations are safely in the garage, where the kids will spread glitter and goodwill on Christmas Eve night. Raleigh almost dozes off as soon as his head hits the pillow, the hot cocoa sugar high turning into a sugar crash, but that little thing is still bouncing around in his head. The kids; he'd said it unthinkingly, like a given — like he would talking about their kids, if they had any.

Mako is curled up asleep already against his side, and Raleigh is about to drift off and join her. The house up the hill is going to be slightly bustling in the way only holidays, no matter the amount of guests, can cause.

Neither of them has brought up the topic of starting a family yet, not hesitantly, not at all. Maybe it's time they did.

For the questionnaire: question 1 for NGD!Dark?

What is the character’s go-to drink order?

He didn't know a lot about drinks while he was on the pc.

Not even the difference between regular drip coffee and an Americano, or regular iced coffee and a cold brew. All he really knew was that dark roasts were stronger than medium ones, and he probably only knew that because noogai looked it up while Christmas shopping or something.

Orange would sketch various different beverages as art studies, and Dark was happy to taste-test them. He ended up liking many of them, as long as they weren't overly sweet.

(He did not like the unicorn frappe. That was...that was not a good day. He never figured out whether it was because Orange imagined it incorrectly, or because it's just inherently an abominable and abjectly-disgusting drink, and he's never been willing to try a real one and find out.)

Anytime he asked Orange for a drink, though, instead of just letting Orange make one for him because he felt like it, he'd usually just ask for a coffee or a water, nothing elaborate. Mostly because, if he was asking for a drink, then it wasn't for enjoyment; rather, it was because he'd be working on something for hours at a time and he wanted to stay awake or refreshed while doing so.

As for the extended timeline...

If he's drinking coffee because he needs to stay awake, he won't even look at the menu, he'll just look the poor barista in the eye and say he wants the strongest, darkest drink they have. He doesn't care what it is, or whether it's hot or cold, or how much it costs; though he gives the impression that he wants it made as quickly as possible. He leaves before the barista can count out his change and he's already downed half the coffee by the time the door swings closed behind him.

If he's drinking coffee for leisure, he'll have a brief look at the menu and casually order the first beverage with the word "latte" in its name that catches his interest.

This could be a regular latte, or a matcha/chai/turmeric latte, or any other variety; he's willing to be a little experimental about the taste, because what he really wants it for is so he can stare at the milk foam art while he drinks it. It...makes him feel nostalgic.

If it's a regular latte he usually has a specific request for the art, but if it's his first time trying the drink he'll let the artist surprise him with one of their routine designs.

If it ends up being a sweeter drink, he'll have some complimentary spices added to it (whether powdered, like matcha, or whole, like anise stars or cinnamon sticks). It's...always more spice than you'd expect a person to be able to handle.

Will tilt his cup 180 degrees to get every last dreg.

Waits until right before he leaves the venue to tip.

If he's a guest at someone's house, he's more likely to ask for some kind of fruity or herbal tea, or even cider, mulled or otherwise. Though if he knows there will be coffee he might bring along a bottle of Amaretto to leave at their house for next time they invite him over. (He'd wondered what Irish coffee tasted like back on the pc but figured it wouldn't be a great idea to drink one while he was attempting to figure out escape plans. When he finally got to try one it ended up being too sweet for his liking.)

✧ Animal:      Carrion doesn't exactly have an animal he likes, however he does find the concept of dogs amusing. The idea that humans tamed a ferocious beast into something that blindly follows every command for validation ?? Absolutely hilarious.

✧ Flowers:     He doesn't particularly care too much about flowers. I suppose he prefers poisonous varieties for obvious reasons, but he also won't complain if it's the colour red. If asked on streams or in interviews, he'll claim his favourite is poppies.

✧  Scent:      He prefers scents that are sickeningly sweet, such as the smell of honey or candy in addition to the smell of rain and blood. What a variety, I know !!

✧ Coffee:    Coffee is only ever drunk for the aesthetic. People who lounge about in little cafes with a coffee while they read or do emails seem more approachable in his eyes. Usually he'll order anything with an ungodly amount of sugars and syrups in them. Floral coffees such as rose and lavender lattes also tends to make him seem more impressive to baristas, and it's always a good idea to keep them on your side...

✧ Tea:      Tea is something more typical of the fae realms, but considering they all tend to live in isolated areas his preferences in tea tend to be rather... unique. Things they stick in boiling water range from things like acorn, nettle, dandelions as well as a variety of plants that may or may not be poisonous to the average human. Of course, it's usually paired with honey.

✧ Drink:      ... Does blood count ?? No ??? In that case, anything sweet enough to make a dentist faint.

✧ Alcohol:     They don't care, so long as it's alcohol. Though, they do prefer sweeter things such as dessert wines, ciders and cocktails.

✧ Food:      Can you guess by now that he has a sweet tooth ?? Carrion doesn't exactly need human food at all, so usually he just eats candy and chocolates to indulge. His real preference, however, is flesh. Preferably fresh and from the source...

✧ Dessert:      ...Anything. He'll eat anything ranging from cheap dollar store gummies to cakes served at fine dining restaurants.

✧ Clothing:   In general, Carrion tends to wear earthy toned robes and accessorises with a large variety of jewellery made of bones like necklaces and bracelets. Due to this, he tends to rattle. As Alistair, he sticks to earthy tones but opts for oversized sweaters and a red scarf. There tends to be a small skull or bone hidden in between the many pins he wears.

✧ Candy:      Once again ?? Anything. Though, he seems to rather enjoy anything with more chewy textures.

✧ Left or Right Handed?:      They're ambidextrous, but for convenience's sake they tend to use their right hand more.

✧ Sloppy or Neat Writing?:    He prefers writing in a neat, print style. Unless the document is professional, he also doesn't tend to use upper case letters as it apparently makes his writing cute to others. Overall, in addition to all the little hearts and smileys mixed in with his writing, it seems performatively innocent looking.

✧ Clean or Messy Home?:  For reputation's sake, he keeps rooms clean. After all, he has to maintain a kind and loveable persona. However he really couldn't care less considering his "home" is quite literally a forest.

✧ Shower in Morning or Night?:      Morning. He tends to be... active at night, so showers act as a was to switch to his "work" mode. It also means any scented shampoos and body washes linger around.

✧ Tasks Done Early or Last Minute?:      It depends on the task. When it comes to the online persona, videos and other content is often done weeks in advanced just in case something comes up. However, due to his impulsive nature he will often plan on the go as what he wants to do often varies with his mood and the situation.

✧ Love Language?:      Carrion doesn't quite feel love properly. It's usually just an obsession, and the way he expresses said obsession I suppose leans towards physical... Violence and pain is the closest thing they have to a true love language. Seeing someone fall apart at the seams before him allows him to understand them more than anyone else, after all...

✧ Believe in Love at First Sight?:      Yes, in his own sick sense. Usually he's not scouting out new followers or targets based on months of conversation, flirting and slowly opening up after all. Usually he'll just look at a person and think "Oh !! They seem interesting. Yes, this is my new obsession."

Lux's eyes glitter like gold, they are a beautiful color reminding many of a dragon's eyes. Sage's eyes are an ocean clear blue. 💥 - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with? Lux has a tendency of ignoring when something upsets him. They'll ignore it and go back later, always showing a strong persona. Sage is similar but he doesn't deal with it because he would be made fun of by his family and older brother for showing "weakness" so it's difficult for them. 🥞 - what is their comfort breakfast? Lux: "Pancakes" The demon enjoys how fluffy they can be and the sweet taste. Sage's comfort breakfast is warm fresh baked bread. It doesn't matter what kind as long as it's fresh, he loves it. ☕️ - do they prefer hot or cold drinks? what is their favourite drink? Lux prefers hot drinks, espresso is one of his favorite forms of coffee but he also likes teas. Sage enjoys cold drinks, gingersnap or gingerbread lattes are his favorite. 🍧- do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it? Lux doesn't have much that connects him to his childhood. He moved past that. It's not one object but his family always has a golden retriever or two in the family so the breed always means family to him, and happier times. The dogs he grew up with were hard to lose, the small child crying for multiple days after his favorite passed. Lux doesn't care for flowers. They last a few days and then die, he doesn't understand the appeal. If he had to pick a favorite, lilies. A blue lily flower not only stands for tranquility but also of hope and inspiration. Sage enjoys a lot of flowers, tiger lilies and orchids are his favorites. Tiger lily - Symbol of Wealth, Positivity and Pride orchid is love, beauty, refinement, many children, thoughtfulness and mature charm. 🌙 - what is your oc's greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?

Lux wants fame and recognition. It's something a lot wish for. Lux will go as far as he needs to, not worrying about who he hurts at the time until he can see the aftermath. Sage just wants to make his family proud, even though he knows it's silly because if his family knew a lot about him they'd disown him. ☀️ - are they a morning person? what is the first thing they do in the morning?

Lux is a morning person, first thing is a cup of coffee and reading the paper. Sage enjoys getting up with the sun. Normally the first thing he does is take the dogs out. 🙉 - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone?

Lux: You did a horrible job.

Sage: You're still a disappointment. ⚾️ - can they play sports? what is their best position if they play a team sport? what's their strong suit (speed, power etc.)?

Lux prefers not to, but can if he's forced. Sage has played baseball, normally the pitcher. So he has a strong arm and is good at catching. 🪤 - what will always lure them into certain danger? a loved one in danger? a promise of something they are always searching for?

The promise of fame would be one for Lux. His family or loved on in danger would easily get Sage to cave in/lure him to danger. 📸 - do they enjoy having their picture taken? what's their go-to pose? do they like taking photos? what do they take photos of?

Lux doesn't care either way. He won't react a lot of the time unless it's with a group of people he's close with then he'll smile.

Sage always his smiling and has his arms around someone pulling them close. He loves taking pictures of his pups. ✏️ - is there a particular quote / lyric that you associate with them? They are too new so I don't have anything for them 🔫 - do they trust people easily? how easily will they turn their back to someone? have they been backstabbed before? will they betray someone if given an ultimatum?

Lux doesn't trust easily it takes him a bit to warm up. He meets most people as clients so its easy for him to learn about them before deciding to trust them. He can be quick to turn his back if he needs to, used to not having close ties with many. Sage is slow to warm up to people but does eventually. Its hard for him to turn his back on someone or to betray someone. He's loyal and trusting too much when he does open himself to others. 💧- random angst headcanon

Lux doesn't have much ties with his family since he can't remember most of them, a lot of his family passed when he was young.

Sage has nightmares from his own past, but they get worse after witnessing the belphie plot line. 🌈 - what advice would they give to their younger self?

Lux is a book nerd. He has to read a lot for his job but he enjoys sitting down with a book in his free time, normally a romance novel.

Sage has tried to take in multiple lost creatures that find their way into the HoL gardens. Sneaking them in is easy, making sure Lucifer doesn't find out is the hard part. ❤️- their love language(s)?

Lux enjoys acts of service. Most of the time it's him making an extra drink in the morning or doing a chore, things like that. Sage enjoys physical touch, hand holding or just sitting close are enough to make him happy.

who in your self ship tells the waiter your order was wrong?

Katsuki: I'm not likely to say anything at all if my order is wrong (unless I absolutely hate it, then I'll ask for my correct order), so depending on how closely he's paying attention (he's usually pretty sharp eyed unless something's bothering him), he'll probably speak up, much to my annoyance. I don't care about compensation or switching orders, I just want to enjoy my time out with him and the less either of us has to interact with any "extras" the better.

Hanta: We're both pretty chill and open minded about almost everything. Getting a wrong order is kind of a blessing in disguise. We both like trying new things, but asking the server to surprise us hasn't went well in the past. So, receiving something we didn't order is a nice change of pace. We get to try something we wouldn't normally order. If the order is something we definitely hate, then we'll make it a little competition to see who can flag down the server first.

Tomura: This guy is way more picky than me, he would definitely tell the waiter anything and everything that wasn't to his standards, whether it's my order or his. I roll my eyes and offer the server a quiet apology on our way out (behind his back). I've waited tables before, so I know the hardships of having a customer with particular tastes.

2. who makes the coffee in the morning?

Katsuki: He's very well put together as far as his schedule is concerned. He's the type to prepare his coffee at night before bed and have his programmable coffee maker start his brew 10-15 minutes before his alarm goes off. He'll be sipping coffee while we make breakfast together. If I'm going to have anything caffeinated, it'll probably be a sugary tea latte since he hates when I drink soda pop, especially in the morning.

Hanta: I can see him switching between tea and coffee in the mornings. He'll be in charge of making his own drink (I hate coffee), but he'll always offer to make tea for me if I'm in the mood (and he's not running late). I'll start breakfast while he's doing his thing and he'll help when he's finished.

Tomura: Honestly this dude's kind of a mess, so I'm not sure if he even knows how to make coffee, but because he's such a mess I can see him having an energy drink or a Mt Dew first thing when he gets up. He'll have some tea if I'm making it though.

Katsuki: He wants to prove he's the big strong man in the relationship, so he constantly goes out of his way to get a glass and a random piece of paper to catch any and all spiders and release them on my insistence we don't kill them even though he secretly hates spiders. In fact he'll get mad if I do it myself. "What? You think I can't take care of them myself?!" It's easier not to fight him on it even if I can tell he hates it, but I will try to get rid of them without his knowledge.

Hanta: Whoever finds it first lets it out, we treat most of the bugs we find in our home as little wanderers who happened to get lost in our place.

Tomura: He's likely to crush it which makes me feel bad, so I try to catch and release it before he gets a chance.

4. who pushes the cart and who grabs the items at the grocery store?

Katsuki: He prides himself on efficiency. We found the perfect system for us after a couple tries of him barking at me for picking subpar meat or produce and me griping at him to just pick between the two cans he's been staring at for way too long. We each get a little cart or hand basket, and armed with our own specific lists, he goes for meat and fresh produce, I head to the frozen and nonperishable goods, and we meet in the dairy or bakery near checkout.

Hanta: He likes to lean on the cart, lazily trailing behind and people watching while I buzz through each aisle. He's usually zoned out, so I have to smack him a couple times to get his attention if I need help reaching something or want his opinion on something.

Tomura: He's a wanted villain, so I try to convince him to stay home lest he's recognized and we have to switch grocery stores AGAIN. But when I can't convince him, he's in charge of keeping up with the cart. He finds the way I mutter curses under my breath at the assholes who block the aisles funny.

5. who plans the vacation and who goes with the flow?

Katsuki: He's kind of a control freak, but he's also a very busy man. He'll give me exactly one chance to come up with a dossier, including travel arrangements, prices, loose schedules, etc. If I can prove myself (which I do, I love planning trips), he'll be more than happy to trust it to me from then on.

Hanta: He's very much a go with the flow kind of guy, so if I want to see or do anything specific during a trip or vacation then I better do the planning, or we'll either stay in our room or relax poolside the entire time.

Tomura: Again wanted villain, so any vacations are a little on the difficult side to plan. But I'm almost always up for a challenge. I'll work out an initial plan and take it to him for help coming up with emergency escape plans in case he's spotted. After a few too many failed attempts and close calls, we decide stay-cations are a safer bet, and that's perfectly fine, we'll order takeout from places we haven't tried yet and stay in playing video games.

1. i definitely am the one telling the waiter our orders are wrong, shoyo is way toooo nice to say anything to someone.

2. shoyo doesn’t drink coffee but early on in our relationship he learned how i like it and will make it for me every morning :,) or just bring me a monster lol

3. oh my gosh shoyo gets rid of the spiders fs! i can’t handle bugs at all. he doesn’t like to kill them though so he tries his best to get them out in a humane way.
