While pursuing a career in the Korean Pop Music industry, Kalmiya has many musical talents, including playing the piano. What she likes to do in her free time is make piano covers or "slowed down" covers of music she hears from various artists or even movie soundtracks. In her childhood home, there is a grand piano that she likes to practice on when her mother isn't home.

There are a few times when Kalmiya has played her covers for her family and they were the ones who urged her to post videos of them to broadcast her talents. She decided not to do this simply because she wanted to keep this talent for herself. If she has a strong relationship with someone, she'll show off her talents and even take requests to play songs to make her friends happy.

Her favorite song to play is the Halo theme from the video game, Halo.
