why are you hate watching even if you are pirating

I watched it on hbo max but it’s honestly just bc I am curious/I already had the streaming service. Like I did not go into the first episode w the mindset that I would hate it. I wanted to think that it might have some redeeming qualities, bc we all know critics can be cheesy & not truly reflective of a show’s quality. I’m also a major Weeknd fan (like top 1% level fan) and I also think LRD is okay, so naturally I wanted to see how he’d be like in his acting debut. But NO it’s ass so far & I don’t have high hopes. At least the cinematography is there (as is always the case for a Sam Levinson show). If nothing else we might get a banger soundtrack and some really cool visuals
