#also if you vote id like to hear your reasonning in the tags#see in my story the father only see his value as someone who can give his life so others wont have to die#they only get one shot at life while his are technically endless#he gives himself body and soul and not only does it take a toll on him bc dying is extremely painful and scary#but he cant always stop people from dying where he couldve and each loss and failure weigh so heavily on him#the end result is that he is carrying so much physical and psychological pain#the son on the other end is prioritizing self care. he does not throw his life away at any opportunity for others#but he does end up being called selfish and heartless by those aware of his immortality for his inactions#idk its a fun debate for him and good father and son drama :)#tagging later
