this is what happens when you absorb too much of content you enjoy so it bleeds into you and your characters, so there you are apocalypsing around and there I am unable to die even in the face of the apocalypse because I threw in vague references to a goddess of death that’s just straight up a minecraft youtuber’s wife that I intended as just a fun thing to throw around that may or may not be my character losing it/hallucinating as a trauma response but the dm went like awesome, you’re a warlock now and can’t die bc goddess of death is your patron

sometimes dnd with your friends is being devastated and cowering on the floor because your character just accidentally killed the entire world, and sometimes it's letting your dm yank you around by your hair because her favourite npc is a bossy little bitch with anger issues.
