I’m sitting at the Academy Awards, sipping on my champagne and gossiping with my best friend, Florence Pugh. She’s presenting an award with Andrew Garfield later tonight, you’re her guest. “…so anyway after all of that they ended up getting back together.” Florence finished her story about one of her friends.

“Wow yea that is ridiculous why would she take him back after that.” I responded in bewilderment of her story. She just shrugs her shoulders and the lights dim. Jimmy Kimmel comes back out onto the stage.

The night has been going great, you and Florence are having an amazing time. She killed it presenting, the host is funny, you’re running into friends and icons. You’re having a wonderful time at the Oscars. The announcers voice booms over the audience, “Please welcome academy award winners Jessica Chastain and Halle berry”

The two women walk onto the stage in their beautiful gowns. They smile at the assuring crowd as they walk to the microphone. “When an actor or actress first approaches a role we use every tool at our disposal to help us create the world of the character” Jessica says, reading the teleprompter. They continue about how actors create their characters.

“Here are the nominees for best performance from an actor in a leading role” Halle says

“Austin Butler, Elvis.” The announcer exclaims. The screen above the stage changes to a camera of Austin at his seat, he smiles and looks at his costar. The crowd erupts with applause. The announcer continues to read off names and the crowd cheers.

“Would now be a bad time to tell you I’ve never seen Elvis?” Florence whispers to you

I turn my head and gasp at her, “YOU WHAT” I whisper yell at her, but it doesn’t really matter nobody else can hear us over the cheering for Colin Farrell. “Ma’am you have to see it, I’m showing it to you next time you come over, I own it.” She laughs at my demand and nods her head, she cheers for Brendan Fraser.

I turn my head back to the screen as the announcer says, “Paul Mescal, Aftersun.” My brain screeched to a hault at the mention of his name. Then he was on the screen, wearing a white suit. He looked good, really good. “Bill Nighy…” the announcer continues. Just like that he was gone again. Florence cheered and smiled at me with an exaggerated smile, yay see you worked with him and his next role got an Oscar nomination, she’s probably saying in her head.

She doesn’t know what happened, I didn’t tell her. How could I have told her? She loved Mike, she would have been so mad at me. I’ve never seen her mad before, upset and frustrated sure, but mad? No, and I do not want to see it.

“Do you mind if I sit with ya? My trailers a Sauna.” Paul asks, sticking his head into my trailer. “Well we’re in Australia, so it’s hot in my trailer too but sure.” I retorted. “You’re probably just looking to escape your own mess.” He closes the trailer door and puts his hand over his chest, “You wound me, I thought we were friends.” He “stumbles” down onto a chair. I roll my eyes at him and throw a pretzel out of my bowl at him, “friends don’t steal from each other.” “Don’t bake delicious biscuits and expect me not to eat some” he says to you smiling, looking at you with those blue eyes. You look back into them, you could look into them forever. Your eyes meet, and the moment hangs there, magical, electric. Then breaking the spell he clears his throat and looks away from me.

The announcer finished the names and all the nominees are shown on the screen but you can’t help but look at Paul. “And the Oscar goes to,..” Jessica begins, “The Whale”. You audibly groan and Flo gives you a strange look and laughs.

“God I know you worked with him but I didn’t know you wanted him to win that much.” She chuckled as she claps. “Did you even see his movie?”

“Of course I did” I reply, “it was amazing. He was very good.” I drastically lowered my volume halfway through because Brendan began his speech. His face, you can’t get it out of your mind. It was only a slight falter when The Whale was called but it was noticeable.

You’re standing at the bar of the Vanity Fair Oscars Afterparty, waiting for Florence to come back. You grab your drink off the bar and turn around to look at the crowd, you scan the room hoping to find a familiar face when you see Paul. Standing halfway across the room laughing with a couple people. Then as if sensing her gaze, he looks up. Their eyes meet.

He excuses himself from the group and walks over to you. There’s a beat of silence as you take each other in. He looks a little rougher, more grown, but his eyes are just as sharp. His blue eyes that I wanted to swim in.

“You look…” he breaks the silence, “incredible”.

“Thank you” she blushes, “you don’t look too bad yourself. White looks good on you.”

He chuckles at her compliment, “thanks.”

There’s an awkward silence. He takes a sip of his drink. “Congratulations on your nomination” I say to him, holding up my drink, “I was hoping you’d win. I saw your movie it was amazing Paul.”

“Thank you. That really means a lot, coming from you.” He says, “It’s good to see you. Really good”

I take a sip of my champagne, studying him. I’m about to say something to him when Pedro Pascal walks over to us.

“Paul hey, could I talk to you for a minute?” Pedro asks, then he turns to me “I’m so sorry could I steal him for just a moment?”

I laugh, “Go right ahead.” I pause for a moment and look at Paul, “It was nice talking to you, I’ll see you later.”

Paul nods, “See you later” His gaze lingers on you until Pedro grabs his shoulder and they turn away. You sit alone at the bar, finishing your drink.

Edward Quinn proceeded to go get the delightful Audrey in her old-fashioned pre-war Renault. Then his car stopped dead, halfway to a picturesque coastal village.

The desolate Quinn offered all sorts of excuses, but Audrey wouldn't listen to him and instead offered to help.

Before he died, the famous couturier Christian Dior had made several interesting clothes especially for Audrey, such as this one that serves, among other things, to make us forget the grimace on the previous page. Note: This costume for Funny Face was made by Hubert de Givenchy.

Audrey conquered all with her sympathy and understanding. She was cheerful and optimistic until the small malfunction was repaired.

Together they made several excursions around Monte Carlo with no other goal than the professional ones. Success crowned Quinn's work, and he obtained a collection of Audrey's photographs that are still classified today as the happiest available to the famous actress due to the grace and ingenuity she breathed.

Fred Astaire confessed that with Audrey Hepburn by his side put the Ginger Rogers of his time to shame.

The last film of Audrey Hepburn is Love in the Afternoon, a romantic and light comedy that also had Paris as scenery, directed by Billy Wilder, the same director for Sabrina. Here she is in a scene from the film, in which Gary Cooper played the main role.

The photographer had finally found a model that matched all his artistic aspirations—a woman who combined elegance, grace, and intelligence with exotic beauty, as well as the originality of expressions on her malleable face.

Audrey, for her part, was interested in having a good collection of advertising photos so that she could send them to the agencies that requested them. She posed in a bathing suit, in delightful light with classic dance attitude.

At that time, Audrey's first love was born, in the person of the French dancer Marcel Lebon. They met at a party and Marcel invited her to dance.

"Would you mind dancing with me?"

"But how, dear God! You dance like a great ballerina!"

"Flatterer!" she commented ironically.

"I swear to you, Audrey. I don't want another partner for the rest of my life. You are like a feather."

"I dance like so many others."

"Listen, Audrey," Marcel told her, a little emotional. "You don't dance because you fly like angels."

"Marcel! If you continue with flattery I will have to go back to my table. In fact, I don't like people talking to me like that!"

"Listen, Audrey," he said again. "I swear to you I'm not used to being a flatterer."

"Well, it doesn't look like it."

"I think my words just express the admiration I feel for you. I swear to you, Audrey, you're more than charming. And I think I'm falling in love with you at full speed."

"Stop it, Marcel, lock it up before you fall victim to a disaster."

"It will be difficult, Audrey. I think you're too beautiful to forget. Wouldn't you like to walk with me for a few moments by the sea? The atmosphere here is suffocating, don't you think?"

Gigi's Broadway debut in 1953 was a resounding triumph. Audrey's interpretation was unanimously commented on by the Press with laudatory phrases that predicted a triumphant future for the young actress.

After performing for Gigi, Audrey moved to Hollywood where she immediately began shooting her first film for Paramount: Roman Holiday with Gregory Peck as the male performer.

OC Master List

Obviously if you’ve followed me for any length of time you will know that I have a really nasty habit of making characters of my own design. I love to be creative and make my own realities through this medium. It’s actually one of my favorite things to do. I’ve wanted to make this for a while because my friends sometimes get confused as to which OC that I’m talking about so this is the master list for everybody. 

My Hero Academia: If I have any fandom where most of my OCs go it’s into the MHA fandom. I have currently five OCs in this show so let’s talk about them one by one. 

Mitsuki Haruka: My first OC that I truly ever created and invented with the knowledge of doing it. Mitsu has a really special place in my heart because she was the first and the one that I work for the most in this fandom usually. Her comfort character is Katara from Avatar The Last Airbender. Her quirk is water. She can pretty much do anything with water. She can heat it, freeze it, glide around on it, whip it out of her and use something that I stole from Fairy Tail called waterlock where she locks a person inside of a body of water. Her canon partner is Tenya Iida my favorite square boi. I often talk about her with her adopted brother and my amazing friend @bio-hazard0us OC Kaku. 

Violet Katsuragi: Violet is one that I don’t really talk about in great detail a whole lot because every time I try to I cry. Her family is a massive shit show and I always feel so bad for making it that way.  I’m always like “My poor baby who is making you suffer so much-oh yeah it’s me sorry about that babe.” She is my “villain” OC. She is really only a member of the league so that she can stay close with her boyfriend and love of her life Twice (Jin). Her quirk is that she can control the plant tattoos that are on her arms by summoning them and using them in combat. Her comfort character is Mary Poppins because it reminds her of her older brother. Violet is an actress for a local community theater once the league disbands quietly. She and Jin also adopt Toga (a younger member of the villain league) as their own daughter to give her a second chance at life. I love her even though she’s the saddest backstory one that I have to work with it’s also the most fulfilling when I write fluff for her. 

Shizuko Kanade: Another absolute baby with a crappy home life. I’m sorry that I made it that way hun but it gets better for you I promise. Shizuko is my quirkless OC and my genius tech girl. She lives below her best friend and brother in arms Denki Kaminari and they’ve been best friends since they moved into the same building together. Her comfort character is PJ from the Goof franchise especially from Goof Troop that was her favorite show to watch with her aunt when she was growing up. She starts off really chubby, the cute kind of chubby but starts drastically dropping pounds in order for her parents to love and accept her. When they still don’t Denki has enough and talks to his mom and they decide to call the police and foster Shizuko into their own home. They get a restraining order against her biological family and my best girl gets a happy home. She wants to be the first quirkless hero to rely completely on support items. (She is also partnered with Shoji if anybody is curious.)

Arashi Mitsuha: This absolute baby, I love them. Ari is my gender fluid OC that I made who started off as just your everyday cis male but then I had an idea that spiraled from Ari in eyeliner to Ari in a skirt and then we wound up with the gender fluid absolute icon that they are today. Ari has a weather quirk. Basically anything involving weather they can do it with their eyes closed. Thunder and lightning storms, tsunamis, tornados but also snow and sunshine. They’re really OP and hella versatile it makes it more fun to write their fighting style. I paired them up with Denki in your stereotypical meet-cute scenario. In terms of backstory they just had a really bad ex-boyfriend before Denki came into their life like a literal speeding bullet. Their comfort character is Hedwig from Hedwig and the Angry Inch. 

Litzy Diaz: My last and FINAL MHA OC I promise you. Litzy is from a small town in Mexico and transferred to UA giving herself a second chance to start anew with her new friends and away from her toxic parents. She is fostered by Aizawa and Present Mic who have already adopted Shinsou so they are brother and sister in every way but blood. Her quirk was very heavily inspired by my love of Dr Facilier in Princess And The Frog. She can control shadows, shadow travel through things such as walls and she can control her friends on the other side basically demons from the underworld. Present Mic sees her as his long lost daughter and basically worships the ground that she walks on. He loves her more than anything in the entire world. Her comfort character is Miguel from Coco and La Muerte from Book Of Life. Her canon partner is Juso from Class B. 

DuckTales: I only have one DuckTales OC (thank the Gods) but she’s very special and important to me. I love the reboot of this show even if I’m way the hell behind on it (I promise I’ll catch up after Gravity Falls Donuts!!). 

Sabrina Duck: Sabrina is a sister for Huey, Dewey and Louie!! She shares the title of oldest quadruplet by thirty seconds and often took over the motherly role for her siblings when their mom wasn’t there. She was always reminding them to do their homework, regulated who got TV time and who was in charge of the delegated family movie night. This resulted in a rift between her and her brother Dewey that only got bigger overtime. School was really hard for her to deal with. She was never the best at paying attention during her classes and had a really bad sensory overload one day. She was really close with her uncle Ludwig though and he offered to teach her. They have a really special bond between the two of them that I love writing for. Sabrina was the person that grounded Ludwig to not think up as many crazy inventions. She also knits!! She loves knitting sweaters for her friends and family around the holidays. I am partnering her up with Gosalyn eventually. 

Star Vs The Forces Of Evil: To be perfectly honest with you guys, I have not seen the entire show. It’s really hard for me to get into it. Because when you only really love one character in the entire thing it gets harder to keep coming back for more. Especially because in the first two seasons you don’t get a whole lot of him and I’m stuck on season 2. 

Allania (Nia) Alvez: I feel like out of all my OCs I am the most like Nia. She’s a half elf-half mortal princess that isn’t allowed to live with the elves so they sent her to live with her mortal father. Her dad’s run a bakery in town and she works there as an assistant baker when she isn’t preparing for her next drag show. She grew up in this family full of love and acceptance and grew excited about one day having a relationship just like her parents. Her first brush with love left her broken by the side of the road even though no relationship came of it. A lot of my feelings for my ex-best friend went into Nia’s personality. However, there is a bright side! Of course with every one of my fics so far there is a bright side that comes in the form of my favorite character Tom who gives her the love that she deserves. 

Animaniacs: Of course this is me we’re talking about so there has to be an Animaniacs OC on this list! This is actually the first character that I ever made on my own free will! She has changed a lot throughout the years that I’ve had her mostly because my tastes have changed.  

Elizabeth Martin: Lizzy is a member of the scene crowd, I was inspired by my best friend and what she wears every day. For the modern au that I have her in her and Yakko are dance partners in a musical theater style school. For the regular fic she’s cast as his love interest. I love this girl so much. To me she is everything that I want to be even now. Her strength and confidence to get through every situation, even the ones that she is afraid to deal with speaks volumes to how I want to be one day. One of the few things that we have in common is that we both did martial arts! She stuck with it for longer than me though and is currently a green belt in kempo karate. Her favorite musical is Fun Home because it’s the one that she relates to the most through the eyes of the mother Helen Beckdal. Her parents basically had three other kids and went here take care of these it’s your job. Every time I listen to Days and Days I think of how much she had to go through just to make sure that everything was going according to plan. 

Looney Toons: Who doesn’t love Looney Toons?! We all have our personal favorite characters, mine has always been the schemer Daffy Duck. I thought that he was a combination of the funniest and had the most personality other than Bugs. I love his antics and get rich quick schemes and I thought to myself one day “How cute would it be if he had an adorable little niece who loved space?!” 

Daniella Duck: This began the creation of one of the best ideas that I personally think that I have ever had. So Daniella is the only one out of all my OCs that does not have aspergers. Instead I looked at Daffy’s elongated tongue and was like “Hm something inside of me thinks that she would have down-syndrome...” At first she was just going to have a little bit of her uncle’s speech impediment but this is what happens when I get ideas when I’m working out. Daniella lives with her uncle on the warner movie lot in the show fic. I love writing for her and her uncle’s relationship because it’s soft Daffy (it’s very similar to writing for soft Grunkle Stan and I LOVE BOTH). Daniella also has an uncle figure in Bugs and Porky of course. I gave her canon partner to Wakko because I just thought that they would be SO cute together. He helps her work on her self confidence and working her way around her speech impediment. In the modern au that I have she has a brother Ding Dong (@oo-fabooo02 OC). She goes to school with Wakko, loves Ed, Ed N Eddy, helps her uncle on his podcast because Daffy is a comedian in this au and she helps him write his script for the episodes. She loves space in both aus but in the modern au she actually is able to become an astronaut! 

Teen Titans\Promare: I have the same OC for both Teen Titans and for Promare but she’s more for Promare right now. What started off as just a happy au that she could have with her comfort character from the TT fic sort of spiraled into this whole other au. 

Keiko Katsuragi\Fotia in the Promare au: Keiko is a really special OC in my heart. She’s adorable, fun loving, sweet and just an all around amazing girl. In the Teen Titans au she’s a lot more damaged emotionally. Her father gave her powers through a serum that she didn’t even really want (she thought that he was joking) and it caused her house to burn down. When she left Japan she was homeless until the Teen Titans found her. Keiko is a member of the decora community and loves cutesy, girly things (especially Pokémon, Sanrio characters, Spongebob, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears). Her collection of stuffed animals is immense and intimidating. Her canon partner is Beast Boy. I’ve had Keiko since I was six and only just started to refine her and make her into an official OC. Promare au Keiko still has BB as her partner but I made him into a fire fighter for this au to work. She started off in a poly relationship with Meis and Gueira but I changed my mind. Writing the Promare au gave me the chance to make a happy unscarred Keiko. Her comfort character in this au is Dot. 

Princess And The Frog: If you forced me to pick a favorite Disney movie this one would be one of the two answers that I gave to you. I have a very big soft spot for this movie in particular. It is one that changed my life when I sat there as a young child and watched the movie unfold in front of my very eyes. Every time I rewatch this movie I am reminded of how much of my childhood I spent loving hand drawn Disney animation. 

Rhiannon (Rae): Rae is the daughter of Tiana and Naveen. I named her after Raymond the firefly. If you knew what a big comfort character my favorite cajun firefly is for me and my mom then her name will come as no surprise. She is the baker and pastry chef for Tiana’s Palace. Rae is a multi musically talented young girl she plays the ukulele, trumpet and accordion. When I first started writing for her I knew that I wanted her to be bisexual. So I turned to one of my favorite animation fun facts that I know. When Jim Cummings was first auditioning for Raymond they had him sing a song. This song that he sang is by Leon Russel and it’s called Cajun Love Song. It is also the song that he sings when he is untying Tiana and Naveen’s tongues. The song is about a girl named Alice. And part of my brain that makes these connections went perfect! That’ll be the name of her girlfriend. Rae is mostly a daddy’s girl. The relationship between her and Naveen was really what helped me refine her personality. Her comfort character is Rabbit from Winnie The Pooh. She is a gardener in her free time and that’s where she gets a majority of her fresh fruits and vegetables for her pastries and desserts. She isn’t really the best at being a princess. In fact she hates when she has to go and visit Maldonia. She doesn’t feel at home there and they won’t let her cook or bake anything at all because it’s not seen as ladylike. This is when she mostly feels like something is wrong with her. Why can’t she just do this one seemingly simple thing for her dad? When he does so much for her why can’t she do this? She learns that even though she isn’t perfect she is so very much loved that it’s ridiculous. Her family loves her so much and they’re willing to move hell or high water for her to be comfortable. 

Gravity Falls: My most recent obsession (I did not have cable when the original show was being released please don’t kill me). I have recently been binging this show on Disney+ and have just started the second season. I hope to be done with it within the next week or so because I love it so much. My favorite character so far is definitely Grunkle Stan. I love his growth and development from a power hungry greedy old man to somebody that clearly loves the kids that are put under his care. Watching his adorable relationship with mother and the father son relationship with Dipper is something that is really close to my heart.

Twilight Pines: My most recent OC!! Twilight is the older sister of Mabel and Dipper and has been visiting Grunkle Stan for years prior to the start of the show. She’s used to his money scheming antics by now but she still loves her favorite Grunkle. Growing up, Twilight had a nervous stutter. She was shy, nervous a lot, socially awkward and was never really the best at dealing with other people. This made her comfort character Piglet from Winnie The Pooh. Her stutter is still there but it’s gotten a lot better!! She spent the year before the show starts at drama camp trying to get over her stutter. While it’s not gone completely it was a lot of progress. She has a really strong relationship with her caretaker for the summer because of the years that she’s spent with him in the past. Up until Mabel went with her for the summer she thought that she would be the only niece in his heart. See, after Mabel was born she took up a lot of the attention. Everyone wanted to look at the cute one instead of the nervous one. It’s just the way that life is. But during the summer she got to spend it being the favorite relative of somebody. When she notices how close Mabel and Stan are getting that’s when she knows that it’s over. She was naive to ever think that somebody would pick her as the favorite. Not when Mabel existed alongside her. It’s not that she doesn’t love Mabel because she clearly does. It’s just that well sometimes she wants to be loved and appreciated by her parents instead of constantly being sidelined. That’s why her summers with her Grunkle were so important to her. It was just three months out of the year. But for those three months working at the Mystery Shack and having all kinds of chaotic fun were the highlight of her year. She has to learn that she has her own values too. One’s that while don’t oversell her sister are still her’s and they are still beautiful. She learns that her parents love and care about her just as much as her sister. It’s just hard to be a show stealer in this house let’s be honest. Twilight is a pansexual and her canon partner is Wendy.

let’s start from the context (for those who don’t know me/winx): winx is an italian show that aired in the early 2000s and was targeted towards 5 to 10 year olds (girls) so, being an italian born in 97, i obviously watched the entire show to the point that i still know every single song from it by heart (disclaimer: i know it aired in the rest of the world too around that same time period)

oKAY SO FIRST OF ALL i had a lukewarm reaction to hearing that a new winx show would be produced by netflix: it’s good that the story can be explored further/in different ways (this applies to the changed target audience too), but i do not trust live action reboots. i also have noticed that netflix tends to uhhh do those badly, if sabrina or wtv is anything to go by...  so i was skeptical but still... i was going to watch this new winx thing for sure (and if not the whole thing at least the first few episodes idk)

THEN THE TRAILER CAME OUT  and oh my fucking god not only is it fugly, it also lets us know just enough to know the serie will be a fucking shit show

so let’s start from THAT - why does it look like it’ll be BAD!! cause it’s.......... bad... the tone is all wrong. or well idk man i guess it’s the tone they wanted but it’s Wrong. first of all it completely ignores the reason why winx was so loved to begin with (by all ages btw, not only by 5yos): the playfulness winx was bright and fast paced and funny by all means, even if it was cringeworthy puns and jokes thrown there to make the slightly older audience giggle. this new trailer makes the show feel as if fate takes itself already way too seriously! - it spoils a few things already tho we all knew by now that bloom is a fairy and that she and sky end up together, BUT!! it does so in a shitty ass way (aside from the dreadful cgi): bloom and sky seem to be already deep into that whole teen drama thing that netflix and everyone else seems to think it’s entertaining (noah fence to riverdale fans, but.... do they not know how badly that exact strategy impacted riverdale as a whole??? it’s bad writing sweety) it doesnt set the universe up whatsoever!! like obviously it’s a lot to do with just a trailer, but it doesnt take much to show that there’s multiple worlds and stuff in this universe and this does nothing but make us squint to try and make up the dark figures on the screen

but let’s go into the VISUAL ASPECT of this whole aberration of a “show” - the tone is too dark!! i’ve had this problem with probably every single tv show that has come out since 2013 or smth, but WHY CANT I FUCKING SEE!!! WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE NIGHT!!!!! WHY IS EVERYTHING POORLY LIT!!!!!!!!! WHY CANT YOU FUCKING USE A GOD FUCKING DAMNED BLUE LIGHT THAT YOU EDIT IN PP FOR NIGHT SCENES IF YOU LIKE NIGHT SCENES SO FUCKING MUCH, JESUS CHRIST ON THE CROSS HURIEFJDKLIFOHEUD hi im a film major and ive been taught how to film night scenes and while im not working in the film area (cause im taking another degree in the meantime) im pissed @ literally everyone in the entire film industry rn

- the CAST & costumes are something straight out of my deepest nightmares so let’s go in order like to start off with the fact that i dont want to hate any of the actresses cause theyre just doing their job: why the fuck are they like That > bloom isnt bad, but the expressinons she givs in the scenes from the trailer are all aloof-y and naive, it’s as if we’re seeing season 1 flora. bloom is a fiery, hot blooded character, where is that in her dead fish expressions???? why does she look confused as fuck??? blooms wardrobe is tragic. red on a redhead?? what is this, riverdale??? (again: nò fens) what was great about blooms OG wardrobe was that she was dressed in a contrasting palette!! light blue/red was DIVINE!! > stella is...... sad.... she’s literally the fanciest diva there could be and yall dress her up in some dumb ass palazzo pants??? like??? how?? when??? also BLACK????? on a fuCKING LIGHT FAIRY?????????? A *LIGHT* FAIRY!!! GIVE CROP TOPS TO MY PLUS SIZE QUEEN. i became what i am (gay) for her. gimme it. > aisha/layla. so first of all: shes called aisha, fuck that layla bullshit this aint start wars. what...... is.......... all that...  im happy, like really happy that they casted a darker actress, thats something the og show didnt do well (cause they kept making aisha whiter as the seasons went by). but........ the rest of That... is atrocious.......... again: where’s the palette???? are we really giving a FLUIDS FAIRY A BLUE PALETTE???? groundbreaking. her og palette was Green and Pink and it worked PERFECTLY. and it works especially well on dark skin too (like most bright colors imo) why did they give her tHAT GOD AWFUL PLAID SKIRT THAT ONLY A COLORBLIND GRANDMA WOULD WEAR!!!! what’s with that bright dark blue???? bad! ugly!!! get it off.!!! it’s redundant and UGLY. > now... MUSA... they whitewashed my baby. my love.  like okay, the og show was bad, i said it i’ll say it again, it wasnt good in any way, but it did give us representation during a time period when representation wasnt even remotely a requirement. there was aisha, black, flora, latina, and musa, asian (chinese to be specific cause it was like... explicitly said), and while it is a really basic 2000s take on diversity on screen, it still manages to be a more diverse cast than this fucking 2020 (TWENTY TWENTY) production manages to have??? how did this happen. so yeah im not even going to touch on musa’s disgusting costumes but just know that i despise them (shorts and a bomber jacket????? what mushrooms did they get themselves high with) > the specialists if theyre even called that in english all look like emo tiktok boys who do POV videos so im not.... not gonna say things... godspeed for getting the part and now something i am extremely angry about: WHERE THE FUCK IS TECNA where’s the women in stem rep? where’s the women with short hair rep? where’s the smart women who dont care about fashion rep???????? where’s the literally GNC WOMEN REPRESENTATION, NETFLIX??????????????? i could write a better rendition of winx club by hitting my keyboard with a hammer on beat with the og winx club opening song.

> the whole mood tho the whole mood is... disgusting... disheartening.... terrible who thought we as a generation needed more dark and edgy and gritty shows? cause theyre thousands of light years from where we fucking stand. winx club was campy and colorful and full of glitter and while im sure that wouldnt be anytingn but cringe today, im also asbolutely positive that THAT energy, that vibe, that colorful aesthetic that made you  squirm because of how bright everything was would work perfectly right now, and it would fit amazingly in the needs of this gen z age group these people keep thinking theyre appealing their shows to. and theyre not, these shows are at best sad renditions of what neo emo 13yos want to see on tv, this is the new twilight at its worst and it’s fucking ugly. take it back.

My god-tier Audrey Hepburn movies

I just realized I’ve technically seen all of Audrey Hepburn’s movies-- or rather, all the movies in which she was given star billing.

So, because I’m bored, here’s a list of my top ten personal favorites of her films. The criteria is simple: 1) she had to have starred in it, so nothing from her pre-Roman Holiday career counts nor does 1989′s Always, and 2) this is based on my level of enjoyment of the movie in question.

1. Wait Until Dark

Wait Until Dark possesses many merits, but Hepburn is one of its key strengths. For me, the most interesting performances are the ones able to balance seemingly opposing elements of the character in question. Here, Hepburn balances vulnerability with inner strength, insecurity and terror with courage, angry frustration with budding confidence. She makes her character seem like such a real, vital presence, like someone you would know. Also, having someone as sweet as Hepburn as the target for the cruel mind games and brutal violence of the villains makes the horror all the more terrifying.

Beyond her performance, this movie feels like it was tailor-designed to appeal to me: an intelligent and formidable villain, the everyday setting juxtaposed with a menacing atmosphere, scary scenes that don’t rely on gore, eccentric criminals, dark humor, a tight script without an ounce of fat on it. But you’ve heard me go on, so I’ll leave it there.

2. Charade

Charade is a prime example of how to mix suspense and comedy. The mystery at the heart of the movie is very clever, with twists and turns every other moment, constantly keeping the audience on their toes. Best of all, the film holds up after repeat viewings because of the delicious chemistry between Hepburn and Cary Grant, and the witty screenplay, which has such an elegant and tight structure that I seethe with envy as a writer every time I revisit this glorious thriller.

As in Wait Until Dark, Hepburn is concerned for her life as she’s terrorized by criminals, only here, they’re mostly more humorous in nature, sometimes even lovable (except Scobie, he can just jump off a cliff). She mainly gets to exercise her comedic chops, throwing off quips, sarcastic lines, and screwball banter with wonderful finesse. It makes me sad she never made more films with Cary Grant-- the two have a spark that belies the large age gap between them.

3. Roman Holiday

The character-building, naturalistic performances, and humor make Roman Holiday one of the best examples of romantic comedy. The film has both a gentle touch and a grounded maturity that make it more than just a remix of the earlier and quite similar screwball comedy It Happened One Night. To get a bit literary and pretentious, it reminds me a bit of Romeo and Juliet-- not because of the romance, but in how the movie starts as a standard screwball comedy and ends on a lyrical, wistful note you might not have expected.

Even though this was her first lead role in a feature film, I think Hepburn’s performance as Ann remains one of her strongest. Ann feels regal and dignified while also possessing the naivete and restlessness of a teenager on the brink of adulthood. It’s as fabulous a star-establishing movie as anyone could want.

4. How to Steal a Million

How to Steal a Million is pure fun. Not a moment of this caper comedy is to be taken seriously (which makes it the perfect quarantine movie if you need something to de-stress with). I always regard this movie as Charade’s even frothier spiritual successor: both films are playful, stylish, funny, and packed with romantic banter, plot twists, and colorful 1960s fashions. The main difference is that in this one, there’s no mortal threat involved and the humor gets a little more risque though not crass.

Also, how nice is it for Hepburn to be paired with a leading man closer to her age? Peter O’Toole was only three years younger than Hepburn when this was filmed. The two of them have glorious, cute chemistry.

5. The Nun’s Story

I hate the question of “objective best” anything, but if you put a gun to my head, I would say The Nun’s Story is features Hepburn’s most impressive work as an actress. For those who accuse Hepburn of being too affected, of being a mere clothes’ horse, here she is bare-faced, dressed in a nun’s habit, and playing a very reserved character whose dilemmas are largely internal. She plays her character’s spiritual conflict with an understatement that could only be considered skillful.

The film itself will likely be seen as “too slow” by most and there are a few colonial elements towards the Congo section that date it, but the film’s strengths, both from Hepburn’s performance and the mature way it presents its individual versus the system story, give it classic status. Few movies regarding organized religion are this balanced and lacking in propaganda, either for or against it.

6. Breakfast at Tiffany’s

While still Hepburn’s most iconic role, Breakfast at Tiffany’s gets called “overrated” a lot these days and fans of the original Truman Capote novella routinely dog it for making heavy changes to the source material. There’s also the, you know, gross yellowface a la Mickey Rooney that deflates every scene in which he appears. However, is the move bad? NO. It juggles zany comedy, tender romance, and rather heavy drama too well for me to consign it to the “overrated” bin. Blake Edwards was a fine director and this movie is one of his best.

And Hepburn gives a damn good performance as Holly Golightly, even if she is not the character envisioned by Capote. This character could easily be unlikable if played the wrong way-- she’s a “phony,” rather pathetic, and self-loathing despite her wit and charm. But rather than coming off as an unbearable loser, Hepburn’s Holly is a realistic, relatable loser we all love in spite of her own delusions and lashing out. She might even hit too close to home (or maybe that’s just me).

7. Funny Face

Funny Face took a few viewings to grow on me. It was one of the first Hepburn movies I ever saw (that was back in high school) and I was initially excited because it was directed by Stanley Donen who co-directed Singin’ in the Rain with Gene Kelly, a long-time favorite of mine. I expected this movie to be just as sublime and was disappointed when it didn’t hit that high mark.

Rewatching it later, I now find it very charming. It’s incredibly upbeat and relaxing, the sort of old-school movie musical that doesn’t get made anymore. Hepburn’s singing is a bit rough in the bigger numbers, but she is very sweet, a damn good dancer, and quite attractive to the point where she just takes my breath away. Fred Astaire and Kay Thompson are also wonderful and get a lot of great moments that show off their talent.

8. My Fair Lady

When considering what would go on this list, I was honestly shocked to realize how much I like this movie. I’m in the camp that considers Hepburn miscast, I find George Cukor’s direction rather stiff, and I really don’t like how the ending is changed from the original play. In spite of all this, I still really enjoy this movie for the songs, costumes, and what remains of Shaw’s brilliant satire on class and gender relations. Those three hours go by and the movie never outstays its welcome.

While I think Hepburn wasn’t the number one best choice for the part (I don’t really buy her as a crass flower girl in the beginning), she isn’t a disaster by any means. She’s still charming and sympathetic, and once she makes her transformation, you have to wonder how Higgins held it together, she’s so gorgeous. And I love the relish with which she approaches the “Just you Wait” song or the way she delivers the “move your bloomin’ arse” line at the races.

9. Sabrina

I think producers figured because of the fairy tale appeal of Roman Holiday, Hepburn would be perfect for this modern take on Cinderella, set in 1950s New York. Just like in Roman Holiday, Hepburn gets to undergo dramatic character development and show her comedic skills. It’s a cute movie, with a very charming William Holden and gorgeous black-and-white cinematography. It’s also shockingly uncynical for a Billy Wilder project.

About the closest thing this movie has to a flaw is Humphrey Bogart as Linus, the guy who Sabrina chooses in the end. This is a role Cary Grant could have played in his sleep, but Bogart clearly is not enjoying himself in some scenes. However, he isn’t movie-breakingly bad by any means. His character is meant to be a hidden softie and far more dependable than his handsomer brother, so I can buy that Sabrina would warm to him in the end.

10. They All Laughed

People tend to argue what the last “worthwhile” Hepburn movie is. Most argue it’s 1976′s Robin and Marian, while I’ve seen some go as far back as How to Steal a Million in 1966. They All Laughed, a Peter Bogdonavich comedy from 1981, gets my vote. This is a love letter to screwball comedies much like Bogdonavich’s 1972 classic What’s Up Doc, only with a far more melancholy edge.

Hepburn does not become a major presence in the movie until nearly halfway through. However, she approaches her role with a mature dignity that makes me wish she’d done more work along this line towards the end of her career. Her character comes off as an older, sadder Princess Ann from Roman Holiday. This makes the movie sound morose, but it isn’t: it ends with life going on and the characters accepting that with grace.

Ml: Theatre Production Au (or heathers, they’re doing heathers)

Okay first- so pretend all of them are good at singing and dancing and whatever. Second- pretend Lila is actually a good character.

Good? Good.

Okay so this starts off surprisingly with the bathroom threatening scene, this is inspired by this actress lila au I saw where Marinette is like “Huh. You’re a good actress Lila. Like- I don’t think you should lie and stuff but you could put this talent to good use!” And helps Lila find her own self through theatre. It’s cute.

Anyways it’s been a While since then, long enough for the tension to die down and for Lila to have made a full redemption and the class is semi chill with her (with slight but healthy salt every now and then). Eventually she comes to the class and is like “hey guys.. so uh.. I just asked for permission but do you guys want to do Heathers?”

Anyways yeah yeah we get the usual “Oh my god Adrien is JD and I’m Veronica!!” shit, you all know the drill, I won’t go into it much because it’s pretty standard Adrientte drama. I’m not writing the details.

Lila might’ve caused that though, she feels bad about the whole Adrien thing but she’s still a little shit so she’s like “aha. this’ll work”— and she makes sure to make as many jokes about Dead Girl Walking as possible.

ANYWAYS TIME FOR THE OTHER CHARACTERS

Lila isn’t playing anyone, she’s the director and she’s the one throwing everyone around. 

Heathers first: Chloe and Sabrina auditioned for Heather Chandler and Heather Mcnamara, and they did pretty well- but when the roles come out they stare in shock to see Chloe as Mcnamara and Sabrina as Heather Duke.

Chloe screams why she isn’t Heather Chandler and Lila is like “look- you did great- but trust me I—”

The door is then unsubtly kicked down by a absolutely ecstatic Alya who’s like “I GOT THE FUCKING ROLE!”

Yep. Alya’s Heather Chandler. Do I care about logic? No. 

I saw a short one shot fic where Alya got Chandler and I was like “yep this is reality now”

What a Queen. (She apologizes every time she has to bully Marinette on stage but it’s all fun, she also pokes fun at Dead Girl Walking too)

Anyways Chloe is hella confused but she can’t really argue cause Alya plays a kickass Heather Chandler, but she thought it’d make more sense for her to play Heather Duke or someone more.. mean? The others share this confusion but Lila says nothing but “trust me”.

No one sees Chloe sing Lifeboat when she practices it for the first or other times, only Lila and the musicians, which is odd.. sense those practices last a long time. Some just assume it’s cause Chloe sucks. It’s on their first opening night that’s when they see why Lila chose Chloe for it. Because when Chloe breaks into tears and her voice is straining as she practically sobs/belts the last line, glaring at the empty spot of where her Mother’s seat was going to be- they just.. get it. There’s no specifics, no horrid realization.. they just finally.. understand.

Marinette runs in a little early after that song.

Chloe waves it off when she goes backstage and hastily says “it’s just acting” but Marinette knows better and hugs her. Lila gives her a thumbs up as she directs everyone to the next scene.

(Meanwhile Sabrina is having a fucking blast as Heather Duke, Lila probably added Never Shut Up Again to this, it’s very therapeutic for Sabrina and her own silent fuck you to authority/Roger, I can and will go on a rant about how shitty Roger is but Sabrina has probably realized it by now)

Continuing forward- I don’t know who Martha is- Kim and Nino are Kurt and Ram and they’re having a fun time playing them.  Stage crew is Juleka, Aurore, Marc, Nathaniel, and Ivan, + Lila helping too when needed.

The ensemble is basically everyone else (a few extras plus the stage crew jumping in when needed)

After it’s all over they all just sit down and relax, super tired from the very intense show they performed.. when Lila speaks up and says, “..So who wants to call dibs on Regina George?”

and the chaos starts again

? ~ Threats & Frights Tonight

I decided to do some smaller fanfics to just make sure everyone is on the same page as me so the SongFic will be revealed later on. However, I’m going to write out of order just like season 3 because I thought this would be cool and a nice way to introduce my OC.

I believe this takes place in season 3, after Lila gets back but before the oh so great finale episodes, so they’re still like around 14. I won’t mention all the episodes but I will post more about how my OC becomes friends with Kagami and Luka. (And Felix because I love Fanon Felix)

Also, I want to ask, do you want consistent salt, salt but redemption for few or all?

Edit: The question mark just means I’m unsure which part this takes place in my main story. It doesnt mean too much.

“HAWKMOTH!”

Marinette stood there frozen, her new best friend, one she knew she could trust with everything, one who knew her identity… Was being Akumatized right in front of her.

Rosina, the newbie of Collège Françoise Dupont, the one who was able to get Marinette and Chloé to settle their differences and let them become friends had fallen for Hawkmoths Akuma.

Why don’t we go back to see how that happened?

Ever since Marinette and Chloé’s friendship blossomed apparently overnight, things had only gotten worse for the girls.

All the classmates had believed that they were always friends but decided to trick them so Marinette would be seen as their ‘Everyday Ladybug’ while Chloé was the bully.

Thank god they ditched her as soon as they saw her “true inner colours”

However, even with all the glares and comments directed towards the girls they never even bat an eye to them, they just kept on walking ahead never looking back. They even had the nerve to smirk back at them.

And now it had appeared there was one more person they wanted to convert.

Rosina Scoats.

She had been a new student to Dupont, and everyone had been excited.

She had looked so pleasant, and everyone had tried to warn her of Marinette, the bully, the one who had made Lila feel so sad and disheartened after Marinette had openly tried to oppose her for being a “liar”.

After all, she had done nothing wrong.

…Nothing wrong.

And yet, no matter what they did, she had always gone back to the outcasts of the class, and they talked as if they had been long-time friends.

It was hopeless now, she had fallen for their lies, there was no way they could save the poor girl.

Although they thought it weird it was only after she came that Marinette and Chloé became friends.

It had just started like any other day. Marinette and Chloé had arrived first and walked to the back where their seats were located, not that they minded being at the back.

Because Rosina had been staying with Marinette she made sure the busy girl got up early for school much to Tikki and her Parents comfort, although she hadn’t appeared yet as there was something the girl had to take care of before coming so the trio became dos at the back.

Then the quiet ones, Nathaniel, Juleka, Ivan, Mylène and Adrien came in. The latter held a disapproving stare at the two girls who should’ve taken the higher ground. They shouldn’t have rocked the boat, and what did they do? The exact opposite.

Honestly, they were worse than Lila at this point.

He just wanted them to apologise to Lila and they could be friends again, couldn’t they see the error in their ways?

It was even worse when he had that argument with Chloé. After that everyone told him it was great, he finally got rid and stopped being friends with Chloé, he could, at last, see just how much she had hurt all his friends and he felt like a fool; he only just realised. Chloé had hurt people while Lila hadn’t.

How ironic right?

Then all the rest came in, ending with Lila, again sprouting some nonsense about meeting several celebrities and she was like a little Sister to them all. Alya was sucking all this information and typing it on her Ladyblog, which by now should be called ‘Lilablog’ considering all the information dedicated to her ‘bestie’ instead.

“Of course, but because they live so far away, they can’t come and celebrate my birthday. Sometimes it’s hard being so far away from them, they’re like family, but they always give me a message and the best presents to make up for it” Her fake tears earned her so many sympathy votes the girls were surprised she wasn’t nominated for best actress.

A scoff was heard, and all heads turned towards the back, it would’ve been creepy considering how in tune they all were, but they didn’t say anything.

“Yes, is there anything wrong?” Lila innocently asked but pulled a disgusted face when no one saw her.

“Oh, nothing nothing, I just love watching Reality TV so early.” Chloé knew they all hated her, but she didn’t care, Lila had already turned Sabrina against her, so she only had Marinette and luckily newbie Rosina as friends.

“Don’t listen to them Lila, their just jealous of all the people that love you compared to them” Some snickers were heard but the girls didn’t pay them any thought. However, a noise disrupted the talk amongst the students.

A phone ringing.

Marinette’s phone was ringing.

“H-” Before she could even get a word out, she had to pull her phone back by how loud the girl’s voice had been on the other line.

“OPEN THE WINDOW NOW OPEN THE WINDOW NOW OPEN THE WINDOW NOW OPEN THE WINDOW NOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!” Marinette confused but used to weirdness in her life did what she was told and opened the nearest window. It was a close call as a body slammed into her just as the window opened, leaving no room to run.

“Owww…”

“Sooooooorrry about that Mari. I got held up again. That thing I told you I had to do while here, weeeeell it came up, so I had to take care of it, and then Piper wanted to- AHH! Piper are you ok? You aren’t hurt, are you?”

The redhead turned to the bundle she had been carrying while she flew through.

A child, possibly 4 or 5, with black hair and pink eyes in a colourful mini dress, that looked incredibly cute on her all the girls awwed at the girl that they all knew as Piper.

Their meeting would be stated for another time.

Part of her hair was tied in a small high side ponytail, adding to the girl’s cuteness as well as her fringe. They just hope the girl wouldn’t become a bully like the other two. But whenever they tried to come up to her she was always too shy and would bury her head in the girl Rosina.

The little girl nodded before going over to Marinette and trying to help her up. Even if she was shy of the class somehow the bullies were able to warm their way into the girl’s heart, it seemed surreal.

What did they have that the rest didn’t?

“Don’t worry Piper I’m fine you don’t have to worry about me.” The girl nodded before hugging her after noticing everyone was still glaring at her, or rather Marinette.

Before they could even sit-down Lila just thought she should tell the class her thoughts.

“Shouldn’t Piper be around some nicer people? I would hate to think what would happen if she continues to be in that type of environment?” She said sneakily yet no one seemed to notice while they all still nodded.

Rosina although knew about the situation between her friends still always wanted to remain positive for her besties and besides, she was great at being civil.

“While I appreciate your concern, Layla-”

“-Lila-”

“Layla, my seat is assigned here, and Piper would tell me if she wanted to move. So, Piper, would you like to-?”

“No thanks,” A barely audible voice spoke before she could even finish.

“Well you heard it folks the answer is no. Hey, Piper, you want to draw something?” She nodded enthusiastically and started drawing while Lila wasn’t finished.

“But I’m worried. I’ve been to multiple care homes and helped out whenever I could, and all children love me. You can just leave her with me, I’m sure it would be good for her to spend some time with new people.” The rest seemed to agree with her and started to encourage both girls to hang out with them instead, even if the child had previously said no.

But Piper had been focusing on some particular words.

‘No’

“No no no, p-please don’t leave me, p-please y-you promised me you would s-stay with me!”

Everyone stopped, they didn’t realise the girl would be so upset over this. Even Lila, she was mean but not heartless, especially to a kid.

The three girls at the back tried to comfort the girl with her worries, one bluenette especially worried.

But that didn’t stop the Akuma from entering. Mylène had been the first person to see it.

“Quickly move! The Akuma’s headed for the girl” Even if the teacher was there what could she do? Become Zombizou and have to go through all those Kissy Boo again? No thank you.

Rosina didn’t know what to do. Sure she had faced Akumatized victims before and helped Ladybug (Marinette) whenever she could, she was an amazing fighter, but that was all after the Akuma.

This, right here, was now.

And like hell, she would let Piper be Akumatized.

“Chloé!” Before the girl could respond Piper was placed in the blonde’s arms anyway, the girl would’ve denied but she could see the urgency in her eyes, plus she was trying to be a better friend anyway.

At that moment Rosina was concentrating. She focused her feelings, learning that you must keep a level head in this city, she had to make sure to display positive emotions all the time.

So she threw all of that out the window.

The Akuma had nearly touched Piper but quickly changed course once more prominent emotions appeared. Surely Hawkmoth would prefer a capable fighter to a little girl?

Hehe, you’ll see.

There was a bow in her hair, just begging Hawkmoth to Akumatize it.

And so, that was how everyone stood in terror to the girl with the magical pink mask on her face.

“HAWKMOTH!”

“Rosina please control it you have to!” Marinette grabbed onto the girl, trying to calm her. Tikki looked apprehensive, there was no way Marinette would be able to turn into Ladybug now, all they could do was wait.

“Angerella, that anger is nothing like I’ve felt before. I am Hawkmoth, I see all you want is to protect your little girl, I can give you the power to make that come true, all I ask is for Ladybug and Chat Noir’s Miraculous.” Hawkmoth’s offer and voice seemed so tempting.

“I can protect and conquer” No. No this couldn’t be possible, all that’s left would be the purple substance covering her, she was going to have to fight her friend.

A friend with a lot more fighting experience.

…

“If I cared.” Marinette breathed a sigh of a relieve, as well as Adrien. She knew she should’ve trusted her newfound friend but she was so scared. She’d make it up anyhow.

“What!?”

“Now Hawkmoth, I have your attention and you best listen to every word I say” The class looked on in anticipation, some had run off to try and get some help from teachers. Alya, thinking it would be great for the Ladyblog, started recording the whole ordeal.

“That girl you were about to Akumatize, if you ever try to Akumatize her again I will give you hell. Not even the heroes would be able to protect you from my wrath, understand”

“…”

“Your answer is duly noted. Now!” She but her hands on her head, seemingly struggling with the sudden Akuma. Was Hawkmoth increasing his control?

“Get out of my head! Now!”

…

Swoosh

“It's… Gone…” They didn’t expect that to happen, certainly not.

So they cheered and raved how great and cool she was able to do that. Alya cheerfully exclaimed how excited that scoop she was able to get and posted it on her blog right away.

And they all carried on as nothing had happened.

As if it wasn’t important.

Little did they know repelling an Akuma took a lot out of you, ask Chloé she’d tell you.

“Rosina are you ok? You had us so worried” When Rosina stumbled because of her unbalance, Marinette held onto her tighter, that ordeal really frightened her.

“I-I -pant pant- just need a moment, can we get some air? Please?” She nodded and the four immediately left.

“Rosy? Are, are you ok?” Rosina smiled and hugged the girl as they approached the entrance.

“Of course, don’t worry Li’l Piper, no one will ever hurt you, if Hawkmoth knows what’s good for him he will stay away from you.” She rubbed her head as the little girl smiled.

“I gotta say that was impressive, you had me worried for a sec but of course you’d be able to pull something like that off” The blonde lifted her ponytail up and down while commenting the tired girl.

“Thanks for your belief. I never would’ve forgiven myself if I hurt either of you. I love you two so much” She hugged them both surprising them more.

“We love you more Rosina. But please don’t scare us like that again. Angerella” Marinette couldn’t stop the light punch coming from the redhead before they all laughed.

All the while Hawkmoth in his lair was coming to a conclusion.

“She is the one who will bring me both the Miraculous’”

Summary: Nathaniel has a crush on Marinette and Damian isn’t having any of that. Superboy and Chat Noir become friends and bond over their annoyance with Chloe’s attitude.

Nathaniel stopped Lady Wifi and Stormy Weather who were hurting Marinette. She was grateful that he saved her and fell into his arms obviously in love.

Nathaniel snapped out of his delusions when Jon nudged him looking at the teacher. He we sent to the office and Jon gave him a look from the back of the class as if saying sorry.

“And the next group is Adrien, Nino, and Alya. And then Chloe, Sabrina, and Marinette,” Marinette slammed her head into the table groaning. Jon was already in a group with Nathaniel and Kim so there was no trading with him and Alya wouldn’t want to switch either.

They met up in the library later after Marinette told Sabrina that she shouldn’t let Chloe bully her. 

That was when a bunch of hats started falling on Chloe which looked really suspicious, then a giant hairdryer.

The heroes decided to go back to Chloe’s place to keep an eye on her.

“Any idea why this Evillustrator would attack you particular Chloe?”

“No, everyone adores me,” Chloe said flipping her hair.

“Right cause you’re just so adorable,” Ladybug said sarcastically. She was so out of there. 

“I can’t believe her!” Ladybug said going through her window and Jon was sitting down in her computer chair. 

“Your thingy is flashing,” Jon pointed to her yoyo.

“What Chat?” she asked exasperated.

“Could you possibly send in Superboy fro backup if you’re not going to be there, I would ask for Robin but I know you and SB are close,” Chat said into his baton.

“Yeah, but don’t you like someone else?” Marinette teased making Jon’s eyes light up and look at her asking for more information. 

“Ha ha really funny.”

“He’ll be over in a bit,” Marinette said hanging up. “Go on, why is it always blondes with you though?” Jon stood there eyes wide mouth open.

“IT’S NOT ALWAYS BLONDES MARI!” Jon yelled after a few second. “GOD YOU AND DAMIAN HAVE WAY TOO MUCH IN COMMON!”

“Really, you think so?” Marinette asked. Jon flew out of the house furiously trying to get as far away from his teasing cousin as possible.

It was twenty minutes later that Marinette called Jon on the superphone.

“JON HELP!” she yelled.

“OK, breathe in then out what’s going on,” Superboy said excusing himself from Chloe and Chat. 

(Two C’s and two blondes God if Jon was bi, he’s not tho)

“Evillustrator just came to my house, I don’t want to interrupt you but could you call Robin, I’m sure he could handle it,” Marinette said not wanting to drag the dark brooding bird into her business but she didn’t really have another choice.

“Yeah, I’ll text him,” Jon said hanging up and texting Damian.

Jon: Marinette needs help, I’m caught up in something. Help her but as the bird not the brat.

Damian: screw you Kent

Jon: you wish

Chloe was freaking out, Superboy was in her house but he seemed to be more interested in Chat Noir.

“So, Superboy, how long have you been in Paris?” Chloe asked grabbing onto his arm.

“Ladybug has my phone number, she calls me every time something goes really wrong or if she just wants me to visit,” Superboy said making Chloe gasp.

“Maybe you could give me your number too, we could be the cutest couple in Paris!” Chloe said jumping on Superboy’s back making him fall over shocked.

“Yeah, maybe not, not really interested in you that way,” Superboy said taking Chat’s offered hand as Chat laughed.

“Not really interested huh?” Chat asked smiling. Jon let out the most manly eep ever before letting go of Chat’s hand.

“Yeah, not really interested. I heard from Ladybug that you like someone though,” Superboy said fluttering his eyelashes.

“Alright I’ll answer that if you tell me if you and Ladybug are dating or not,” Chat countered.

“Nope, hell no, I would never date Ladybug, she’s like a sister to me. Your turn.”

Robin stood on top of the boat with his sword out watching intently as Marinette flirted with the villain, she was a great actress unless... no, she couldn’t actually have a crush on Nathan or whatever Jon’s friend’s name was. He... he was a villain, Damian got his breathing back to normal and continued watching feeling something red hot, not jealousy, burning up inside him as she gave the signal.

Robin blushed and watched Marinette grab the pen and soon they were in an enclosure together. Damian took his sword and pushed up before grabbing her and grappling back to shore.

“I hope I didn’t make you think that I don’t know how to do my job, Ladybug and Chat Noir are normally the ones to handle this sort of thing. I’m going to find Superboy,” Robin said smiling at Marinette.

“Where the hell have you two been?” Robin asked going through the window of Chloe’s hotel room.

“Just chatting,” Superboy said before they both laughed.

“God, it’s like they’re the same person,” Damian said filing that away for later. Ladybug swung in through the window. 

“Aww, the whole gang is here, Jesus Christ Supes, you look awful,” Ladybug said looking and poor Jon who’s cape was slightly torn and had lipstick on his cheek.

“It’s been a long day, can you just finish this up,” Superboy said.

“Chloe has a little crush on Supey here, said he’s not interested. Chloe doesn’t really take no for an answer,” Chat said sheepishly. Damian felt like an idiot for not noticing sooner but filed that Chat had an understanding of Chloe’s behavior.

When Evillustrator did come around, he was taken down rather quickly. All the teens went their separate ways.

Chat was sitting outside of the Dupain-Cheng residence watching Jon through his window when he felt a tap on his shoulder. 

“I know who you are, I know that you care about Jon... Adrien Agreste, you care for him deeply but he is one of Superbaby’s friends so that means that you have to leave him alone until you at least have the strength to not jump when I tap you on the shoulder,” Robin said mask eyes in slits. 

“I guess I can work with that but you can’t tell anyone who I am,” Chat said holding out his hand.

“Wasn’t planning on it.” Damian was going to have a lot of fun with this information.

It was the next day at school and Nathaniel was in the back and Jon sat down next to him. He was drawing again but it was someone different this time. It was Superboy and Ladybug fist bumping.

“Cool drawing, you should start a comic book,” Jon said smiling at Nathaniel and Adrien eyed Jon from the front of the room lovesick. Good thing Valentine’s Day was right around the corner.

Wifi and I talked about that for around twenty minutes trying to put certain character in certain places. Hope it paid off. I think I’m about done writing these for today but I’ll be posting three or four more tomorrow.

Season 1episode 14 Nightmare

I honestly did not remember this episode right away. it's funny that the same people who wrote Faith a very Dean centric episode wrote this Sam episode. although Faith was more character and philosophy focused this is more putting the pieces of the larger story together there are a lot of themes being introduced we see in later seasons Sam vs Dean in the world in the way they see things and deal with people. Sam thinking he has evil in him but he doesn't want to be a monster thing (we did with Jack later) so of course and he thinks everyone can be saved and Dean thinking if you have evil in you youre automatically a monster (the same way he told Jack) the main argument that we see if you start killing people you are a monster which is interesting b/c Dean kills people all the time that's a whole nother article / study. Jensen just acts the whole I'm afraid of Sam but I'm afraid for Sam beautifully because of course he does I can watch him all day I swear there are moments when Sam is having a vision his eyes turn black and that made me freak out like I actually screamed "oh my God his eyes are black!!" There is some subtext about John being an abusive father that they immediately walked back and it's like "oh our dad was never as bad as this guy's dad" And he know he never beat us and all the stuff. I wonder about Deans eating a note played for laughs and he keeps stuffing his face more more as the show goes on but he seems very excited to see food all the time and it means something (I'll get there) the actress who plays the stepmom is also the same actress who plays the aunt in Sabrina teenage witch from the 90s and it's great to see her as a guest star but she's terrible in this like she's about to be killed several times and she just acts like she doesn't care and and it's so low energy I think she's having a hard time acting with pretending that they're floating objects in the air coming at her it's just really bad I agree with Dean can't just kill people but fuck those guys who beat that kid they deserve to die

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Season 3

I watched season 3, while it wasn’t a bad season and I enjoyed it. There are some aspects of the season that were just a let down. 

I really thought it was going to take most of the season to get Nick back.  The fact it happened in the first episode seems rushed.  I would have been much happier with this taking longer to happen. 

Also they make Sabrina, Queen of Hell way too fast.  I feel like that is something though should have happened at the end of the season.  I feel like that aspect of the season felt like too much.  It was just something added in so they could uncover the Unholy Regalia. I am sure they could have found a way to bring those items so they could be used with the time egg differently.  Wait, they could have found something that mentions using the those items to power the time egg.  Yes, I know that is the easy way out but come on they have their own stone circle like Stonehenge under the academy.  

This season really just dropped the ball on some characters like Lilith, The Dark Lord and Father Blackwell.  I get it wanting a different threat but then don’t have these characters involved.  At least don’t give them major aspects in the story line only to barely use them and destroy any characters arcs they previously had.  I would have been fine with them bring the major villains of the season again.  The whole coven losing powers because of Lucifer being dethroned was a big deal.  They could have done some much more with it. Hell, Lilith was so passive the whole season until she got Father Blackwell to knock her up.  Which was a great move to prolong her life.  I really want to see what everyone is going to do about this baby next season and what chaos it will cause.  

I did like the introduction of other kinds of magic since that is a real thing. At the same time they had Pan who is God worshiping another God? I feel like Pan should be able to do more then make people go crazy.  EDIT: as I have learned from some research The Green Man is associated with Pan.  Basically he was getting people to worship himself.  They had a gorgon just to have one running around. A living snake who was no where near as cool as she could have been.  Circe who they basically downplayed her other magic skills because she is great at hebalism. Granted they left in the fact she can transform people into animals, that was good. 

Robin Goodfellow is the other name for Puck.  One of the most mischievous Fae’s out there.  He was so boring.  I happy he was a love interest for Theo and that he did the right things had helped the group in the end. He could have been so much more fun. Also was I the only person who didn’t care if Ros and Harvey had sex?  Really, didn’t need all that screen time.

I am happy they called in the Hedge Witches and looks like we should be seeing more of them.  Mama Mambo is a great a addition and looks like she will be a lot of fun as a character.  I am curious to see where things go now they are worshiping Hecate. 

I was not here for Hilda being turned into a spider and almost killing Dr. Cee.  That was heart breaking because I was happy they got engaged and that she has someone.  It just felt like a forced aspect of the show to give Hilda more screen time. I feel like they could have found something else better.

The whole Caliban thing was annoying.  Let’s be honest he was just there to give Sabrina a possible new love interest since things were failing with Nick.  Who was a major ass when he got back.

I get it he was dealing with a lot and he wasn’t handling it well. At the same time he needs to acknowledge he wasn’t handling shit right and make things right. Sabrina did go through a lot to bring him back.  Back to all the shit going on in Hell. Caliban really was there look pretty and give a reason for the Unholy Regalia.  I liked everything about the Unholy Regalia from having to find them to, to the guards, and having to them. One of the better aspects of the story. 

What I did not like was how without Sabrina, Armageddon basically happens and only she can fix it. That would make sense if Sabrina had more magic then being a witch. She was losing her powers the same as everyone else the coven.  Besides making Sabrina Queen of Hell there is no benefit to her being The Dark Lord’s kid. She has no extra abilities and well know she as celestial blood in her. All she did to save things was teleport everyone away and poison the Green God. Did anyone else think Gargoyle King when looking at it or was that just me?  And Sabrina might have messed with the Space Time Continuum with there being two of her. I am sure that is going to be a huge issue next season.

Also what was Sabrina wearing as Queen of Hell.  Lilith didn’t wear anything like that way does Sabrina have to?

Other thoughts I had while watching the show. Do all cheerleading squads in that area sing and dance? I don’t think I have ever heard any of them do an actual cheer. They basically made a reference to Pop’s, had a Southside serpent show up, mention the Blossom family and got to Riverdale. Does this mean we are going to see some kinda of a crossover? They did have Lucifer show up in the Crisis proving that a Netflix’s character can make an appearance. The creator of the Arrowverse shows does Riverdale and Sabrina. I am just saying it would be cool not to mention Archie is one of Sabrina’s love interests in the comics.

I didn’t like the fact they broke up the weird sisters. While Dorcus was the most boring of them I didn’t want her to die. I like the three of them together. I get it is needed for character growth and change. Prudence is going to be a very different person next season. I wonder what they are planning on doing with Judith and Judas since they were boring and just there this season. I would expect them to be powerful considering who their father is why not use them.

I want more Salem but I know the actress who plays Sabrina is allergic. He could show around other family members like when Ambrose had him guarding Hilda from the banchee. I love the fact this Salem is an actual ghoul or demon. It gives him so much more magical abilities. They need to be explored and used more.

Even with the issues of this season I am looking forward to next season. I am curious what the new coven will look like.  What Father Blackwell released from the time egg. How they are going to deal with two Sabrinas.  What is going to happen with Liltih being pregnant.

What words or phrases do they overuse?

she uses the word ‘basically’ a lot. she also definitely overuses her britishisms but that’s mainly because she’d been living there for the last few years. favouite curse word is ‘fuck’. ends too many sentences with the word ‘me’.

Are they more optimistic or pessimistic?

ellie will tell you she’s a realist, though she does tend towards optimism, particularly when it comes to the outcomes of certain events in her life. 

What bad habits do they have?

speaking before she speaks, drinking way too much coffee (and as a result has developed an unhealthy addiction to breath mints, seriously she’s always gone some on her person!), nail biting/picking (particularly when she’s nervous/bored), flirting before thinking (she’s sure your partner is great, she just didn’t consider their existence), pouting until she gets what she wants.

What makes them laugh out loud?

friends reruns, friends in general, lana sullivan. she’s also the sort to laugh at her friends embarrassments/trip ups but would also be the first to bail you out in a bind so figurers that balances things out. 

How do they display affection?

little touches (on your arm, your shoulder, your lower back), little gifts/things she’s seen that remind her of you, sending random texts/pictures throughout her day, sharing anecdotes/gossip. 

Do they make snap judgements or take time to consider?

she’s an impulsive little sun of a gun, just ask lana. she detests feeling stuck and that has driven her to make many questionable decisions and has resulted in the breaking down of some important relationships in her life. 

How do they react to praise?

she THRIVES off of it. like tinkerbell she needs applause and praise to live. 

How do they react to criticism?

she’ll tell you she can take it, and that’s not totally untrue, as an actress she has developed a fairly thick skin but she only really takes constructive criticism well. trolly comments on the internet will send her into a tailspin and often result in her seeking some outside affirmation of her awesomeness (often in the form of hookups or friendly cheerleaders).

work hard and be kind.

professionally? daily, her current project requires a lot of mental gymnastics. personally? after meeting up with lana. 

If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be?

apart from forever appearing ageless?? physically she wouldn’t mind being a little taller, but she thinks her face is nice and her ass is good so she happy with her appearance. there are a lot of internal things she’d change about herself but mainly she’d like to be braver and a little more vulnerable about the things that matter with the people she loves.

she does get annoyed easily and pinning down what will set her off from one day to the next isn’t an exact science but some things that never fail are slow walkers, people who talk on their phone in public, traffic (she probs shouldn’t drive bc the road rage is real), and people who insist on continuing conversations when she’s clearly checked out.

pretty small, just her dad, step mum and gran left.

family used to be everything but after her mum passed ellie hasn’t been super connected to her family, with the exception of her gran who is her favouite person in the whole world.

the real yin to her yang and the one person she will never put the moves on because it would totally ruin their vibe. also it would be weird because they are basically sisters at this point. if ellie is ever able to sit still long enough to sit and think things through things it is down to this person. big mom friend vibes. 10/10 angel on earth.

oh god no, she shouldn’t be trusted to care for a living creature.

What was your character like as a teen?

not unlike herself now, which speaks to her emotional maturity but much more moody and reckless, very little regard for the consequences of her actions, and pretty listless/unmotivated. she’s since learned to reel some of that in as she’s focussed on her career.

middle class, they were comfortable, but they didn’t go on holiday every school break or anything.

nurtured, but when she lost her mum she an her dad started to neglect each other.

winning a bafta.

awkward and the result of a game of spin the bottle gone wrong -- she’d really wanted to kiss matt jones but instead the bottle had landed on rory tyler.

no, not even a little which is funny because she is definitely the sort to fall quickly.

depends on the relationship and the person, honestly. ellie hasn’t been in many serious relationships because she typically bolts at the first sign of feeeelings as she tends to lean towards her need for freedom rather than commitment but on the rare occasion her heart has fallen before her brain was able to catch on she’s been quite happy to hermit with her partner. she becomes so smitten the idea of wanting someone else escapes her completely.

probably last night. or this morning. she’s a ho and she doesn’t like to be alone. that’s when things like thinking happen and that’s no good!

yes, twice. and both instances left her gutted.

she has, but in the end it’s usually by herself as she has the tendency to leave before she gets left.
