ok this has nothing to do with my usual 60s 70s 80s posts and i know its a heated topic but i just need to get this out bc my brains going wild about this. im literally crying about whats happening in israel/palestine. however ive been reading a lot of headlines in the big german online newspapers tonight and im just shocked and appalled however not surprised at the "us vs. them" mentality promoted by the western media. hamas dont equal the entire palestinian population but they really be putting out articles telling how israeli citizens get "sl4ughtered" in their own homes and get hurt and abducted as if that isnt a daily reality for palestinians in occupied territories that were not even taken rightfully in the first place but through just as much violence as well like be so for real man thats so hypocritical it just proves again how NOT NEUTRAL western media is when it comes to the middle east and how they will keep justifying everything israel (who is one of the top military forces of the world at that) does to palestinian civilians who are just as innocent as the israeli ones who got taken today (except for the fact they dont get worldwide media attention even if they too suffer from injustice and have been for the past almost 8 decades but go off) anyway i just feel this is probably gonna get real bad in the next few weeks and i think it will definitely fuel the fire in another wave of muslim h4te but dont trust the mainstream western media when it comes to this and get your own sources (also palestinian news ones!) bc i only really realized how full of lies it was when i went on a 2 week educational round travel through israel/palestine (ive been everywhere but in the gaza strip for obvious reasons) four years ago and there ive first hand seen people get mistr3ated for literally NOTHING other than the fact that there was a birthplace in their passport that didnt suit the israeli government (i could literally tell yall stories of what i experienced in those days man also the change in how they treated us at the airport upon arrival and how their behavior flipped when we wanted to travel back like they questioned us and we truthfully told them weve been staying with arab guest families in tamra for a week of the trip and after that our luggage was rummaged thru and some of the suitcases got lost and never made it back to germany like im not lying or exaggerating) and only after coming back from that trip i read up on the entire history and "conflict" (i used to shy away from it bc growing up people were always like ohhh its so complicated when it really is not tbh) like before that i was just as much blinded by the western medias representation and didnt question it so all i wanna say with this rant post is i hope all innocent civilians get thru this in the best and safest way it usually is always the wrong people caught in the line of fire and if i have followers directly affected by this please be safe and i wish yall the best and everyone else pls fucking think for yourself and dont blindly succumb to the hate and the "us against them" mentality

so theres this kitten that was born without sex organs and people here are like "wow nonbinary cat!! wow this cat is me!" the cat is intersex not nonbinary bro. its a cat. the cat doesnt have gender identity. it was born the way it was.my god and christ.but as if that wasnt cringeworthy enough now people are going "umm this cat isnt intersex its SEXLESS it is born neither :]" ignoring that the definition of intersex is anything born with a physical body that doesnt fit the typical definition of male or female...it is a spectrum of variations that exist everywhere in nature. it really goes to show how dyadic trans/nb people do not give a single shit about intersex people when theyre out here literally fighting to claim a...cat ... as nb and not intersex. we out here getting our organs harvested as children and abused and systemically erased by the medical infrastructure and the lgbt community still refuses to be allies. and no, you arent inherently an ally because youre trans. half the time yall include us in the acronym for no reason and call it a day. you cant even stop using bioessentialist language. you cant even stop being trumeds. you cant even stop using agab language. you cant even stop saying HERMAPHRODITE. you look at me like i have five heads when i call the trans/cis binary what it is: a BINARY, because that challenges the very rigid worldview youve constructed around only people like yourself. apparently all we're good for is to be used as a "gotcha" against terfs from people who cant even define the word intersex at all. all of this...and some of u still want to BE us. listen. if you woke up one day and were suddenly intersex, you will not be treated like some magical fuckin unicorn. doctors, coworkers, friends and family WILL force yr square peg ass into the neat boxes that will never EVER fit you. and before you clown on this post IM TRANS!!! i am literally transgender and intersex and i stand by what i said. suck it up & do better

she was born in henan, china on september 21, 1989. having a son would have been preferable for the couple but they settled for her instead.

spent more time with her mother than her father as he worked in the city.

her parents were pious buddhists and she was brought up with it so she was no stranger to lighting up joss sticks at the altar in their house, observing different special occasions.

on the year she turned twelve, her father had gotten the promotion he wanted. the catch? they had to move all the way to america.

at an awkward age, an awkward time, in a country where she barely knew how to speak the language, she couldn’t help but feel impending doom.

maybe she’s right on the money; she stands out like an odd thumb with her pale skin and jet black hair among the freckled, tanned kids with lighter hair. and that’s just in the small town airport.

she’s not one to let small things hurt her but when it happens everyday, any wound inflicted would be left to fester.

(bullying, xenophobia tw) these things spread and multiply; they start with schoolyard taunts, stinging chants, mocking words, told her to go back to china but the kicker was when one of neighbours suddenly provided them with more material.

it’s a small, christian town where everyone knew everyone and anything different that happens is bound to be noticed. and then shunned.

“she’s a witch. my mom saw her and her mom and dad burning stuff and incense thingies in their backyard. she said they had sacrificial offerings and were worshipping the devil.”

it’s not true, of course, but it didn’t matter if it wasn’t the truth. it only mattered if they believed it to be.

she suffered the brunt of it all, with her father working more often than he was at home and her mother staying at home if she’s not outside shopping for groceries.

(implied violence cw) the only time she loses control is when they make jabs at her mother and the teachers have to call her parents in to take her home.

the scholarship to an out-of-state college is an escape, and she dives into her studies like a fish taking to water. it takes long for her to complete her bachelor’s, medical degree and it takes a little longer for her residency when she suddenly made the decision to complete it in athens, greece.

finished her training and worked at the hospital she was a resident before eventually transferring to a psych clinic her senior opened in kaos.

she’s worked there for a little over a year and has no current plans of leaving.

current client: self-explanatory, could discuss how their doctor-patient relationship is generally like or how they feel about her 

a date: someone introduced them to her or vice versa / they matched on a dating app (which would be a friend’s idea) and we could see how it goes! doesn’t have to end up in a romantic plot lol
