2000 followers!!!!
Graphic by @not-a-unique-snowflake-blog 🥰🥰
Wow, I'm in tears y'all I can't believe I'm at 2k!!!!!
I'll be straight up, the 1k celebration was a lot ;-;
And with school, I can't commit to a whole lot especially writing things for people who don't interact with my shit at all. So, I decided to do something specific
My talent lies in series more than one shots. It's where I shine. So I think the celebration will be centered more around my different universes! Acceptable universes will be listened an linked at the bottom.
Here's how to participate!
Fuck Marry Kiss
Pic 3 canon characters or OC's from any universes. If you say "Marc Spector" Specify if its from Seattle or Sunshine. Make sure I know which series bc there slightly different characterizations sometimes. Same with reader. MOST of my readers have a nickname like Little One or Madonna. Example: FMK: IYWBW Santi, Lorenzo, and Puppy Girl reader
2. Bonus chapter or thoughts (or thots)
Ever wanted to know how Zach and Lorenzo fell in love? Ever wondered what Jana and Will's friendship is like? Wanted to see what Guard Dog! Joel and Reader do for fun? Now is your chance! Please be clear if you're looking for thoughts or an organized chapter. Example: Can I please request a scene with how Santi calms down Laci when she has PTSD now that's she's a few years into healing? Example 2: Was wondering if you had some random thoughts of what shows Jake and Sam have watched together over the years?
3. Crossovers!
Want two characters from different universes to meet? Have a cross story ship? Think two readers or OC's would be besties? Think a pair of characters would be fun in a different AU? Come on over!
Example (From Fen): Leather and Lace Santi and Laci meet The Wrong Way Joel and Little one
Example 2 (Also from Fen): What if Sam met Becca.
Example 3: I think Angela from Blessed be the Fruit would absolutely love Candy and they should date.
Acceptable universes to ask for fics or crossovers from:
If You Wanna Be Wild (Santiago Garcia x Latina!Reader/OC x Javier Pena) with @my-secret-shame-but-fanfiction Sunshine Starlight Sweetheart Brightside (Steven Grant x OC x Marc Spector) Seattle (Marc Spector x Jewish!OC) Leather and Lace Universe (Santiago Garcia x OC, Frankie Morales x AfroLatina!OC, William Miller x Vietnamese!OC, Ben Miller x M!OC) Awakening (Reader x all 4, IronPope, FishBen) Darkness on the Edge of Town (Joel Miller x reader, no age gap) DBF!Joel Miller Holiday Fucks (Joel Miller x reader, large age gap) Pieces from my dark side blog @romana-after-dark are allowed too. I have 2k followers here but Ill want to open the worlds in here to the event.
The Wrong Way (Dark!Joel Miller x reader, Dark!Tommy Miller x reader DDDNE) Guard Dog (Dark!Joel Miller x Dark!reader) Blessed Be the Fruit (Dark!Joel Miller x darkish!reader) Puppy Girl (dark!Joel Miller x reader, pet play) Room's on Fire (Reader x Santiago, Francisco, Will, Ben, FishBen, FishPope)
If you have other ideas, just ask!!!
Spring Break is coming up so im excited to do some of these and my commissions!
I CANNOT thank my lovely followers enough for all this!!! I love writing so fucking much and many have reached out to me about fics being healing for them
so, thank you. I mean it. Man of these stories, like LaL universe or TWW have been healing for me, processing a lot of feelings through them and i pu tmy heart and soul into my stories, so it makes me so happy and proud yall want to read.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
Tagged by @mihrsuri. Thanks, Lil! I feel like I've answered these in the not-so-distant past, and might have accidentally ignored one or more tags. Oops. I need to check the Mentions tab and check it out!
(I also started writing this… earlier this week, and forgot about the tab. Sorry this is so so long.)
01. how many works do you have on ao3? 24 fics, though one of them has eight ficlets… So some would count it as 31. (It's still 24.)
02. what's your total ao3 word count? 167,815 words
03. what fandoms do you write for? TWW.
04. top five fics by kudos?
maybe everything's just turning out how it should be
(big gulf here)
say it's here where our pieces fall in place
just your smile lit a sixty-watt bulb in my house that was darkened for days
nobody knows how to get back home
we could be the way forward and I know I'll pay for it
05. do you respond to comments? Yes! I try to get to all of them, and feel bad when I hoard them (because they're lovely) or they slip through the cracks. (I tend to wait some time before replying to the comments on my most recent fic, so if anything comes in later, it might be immediate or two months late.)
06. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I feel like I always struggle with this answer because they're mostly hopeful endings! Which is just my perception and now how it is. Tempted to go check what I've answered in the past.
Most recently, I think what if the way you hold me is actually what's holy has that 'right person, wrong time', on borrowed time vibes. But maybe not! My go-to answer always feels like my post-Portland Trip fic, don't want you to go but I'll be okay, because it feels so final and bittersweet then.
07. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Oh, which one should I pick? I think the Cali/Jan 22nd fic from earlier this year (oh, and I will be with you to feel the California sun) is just pure happiness, tbh. Memoir fic (still you never took your hand from mine) also feels like a saccharine, sweet ending! (Could've also picked the literal wedding reception-set fic, lol.)
08. do you get hate on fic? No! Luckily. If I have, I don't remember. I've gotten a weird comment or two, but those weren't about the fics. So no!
09. do you write smut? Nooooo, of course not. (This is the last time I'll beg you to read on main and that's under a cut lol.) Up till now I could say it was mild scenes in yet-to-be-posted fics, which remains true, but I posted a literal smutty fic last Friday, lol. I'm proud of it and myself, for getting out of my comfort zone, and while it's flopping I'm glad those who've read it liked it!
10. craziest cross over? This is the question that undoubtedly makes me go “lol I've definitely done this before.” Because I always joke that I've already seen the craziest canon crossovers on screen. That said, I haven't personally written one, and don't have ideas.
11. have you ever had a fic stolen? No? Sometimes I wonder if some ideas have been borrowed but wouldn't say stolen.
12. have you ever had a fic translated? No! Maybe one day I'll do it myself. (I don't think there's demand for it/Spanish-written fics in this fandom.) (Once again, I'm sure that this answer matches the previous ones.)
13. have you ever co-written a fic before? Sounds fun! No. But anyone interested? hmu.
14. all-time favorite ship? In what sense? I cannot choose, but at the same time… We all know.
15. what's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? I don't like putting this energy out in the universe. It's one thing to post (that's probably a long list) but actual WIPs that are worth it? I want to believe I'll get to them eventually. (But. Unfortunately, the answer is many of them.)
16. what are your writing strengths? Internal world? As in, I am “good” at describing the internal world of a character. idk.
17. what are your writing weaknesses? I write in my second language. I feel like everything's a weakness. (World building, descriptions, dialogue.)
18. thoughts on dialogue in another language? As long as it doesn't take the reader out (and makes sense in the story), 👍 I might have peppered in some Spanish in some of my writing but it feels wrong somehow.
19. first fandom you wrote in? Bones.
20. favorite fic you've written? I cannot pick a favorite child. I can affectionately call them flops because they mostly are, stats-wise, but there's something about them that I love. And I feel like some of my favorite stuff is what's not yet posted! Because it stops feeling “mine” once it's out there.
don't want you to go but I'll be okay · Portland fic · my automatic answer because I felt it was special the second I finished it. So many things came together (that quote, particularly).
we could be the way forward and I know I'll pay for it · St Augustine, a precanon campaign fic ·(Any of the first four (posted in 2021) is super special to me. This one was another one I knew would be special. And it has big “there wouldn't be this if there hadn't been you” energy.
your love is a secret I'm hoping, dreaming, dying to keep · (3+1 fic set in the last third of S7, ft the press corps) · Taylor sang KOMH on N2 because she loved this. I just know it. (I just really love secret relationships/working around that S7 period so much.)
nobody knows how to get back home · itsotg missing scen) · I just like it a lot, and it's also a good candidate for angsty ending. When did it get so many kudos?!
maybe everything's just turning out how it should be · big block of cheese 2008 · felt disingenuous not to include the fic I always knew I wanted to post, even if it's another early one. It's my most popular by a huge margin, and I'm glad.
I so wanted to add fics like the Cali one but this always depends on my mood! So this is the answer that might always change haha.
Shoutout to some unposted ones that I love but won't get published. Or others perpetually in limbo, like the two big multichapters (IM and S5 pregnancy). I feel like some of my best stuff is in What Once Was Ours (the IM AU fic I wrote in 2021), or the S5 Pregnancy AU (which I hope to finish this summer! And I want to start posting once I feel like I'll make that deadline)… And I'm currently really fond of one I've started to call “demons that you know raise hell worse than a stranger.” Coming to you soon, if I get my crap together!

Do you view Gary/Ef as a 'fanfic' ship? Like... for me, Augus/Gwyn, Eran/Mosk, all the canon FT ships... whenever you wrote a different setup with them, I loved it, but I was sort of aware that it was a fannish thing. But somehow I don't get the feel here? Like I know Arden/Ef came first, but Gary/Ef feels just as canon, if that makes sense? Maybe bc the Rainbow verse is so fleshed out, idk, but I thought it was interesting and I'm curious how you feel abt it XD
Hi hi anon!
This one's complex, so I'm gonna try and explain how I think about it as clearly as possible.
To me, everything I write that's set in my own world with my own main characters is original fiction.
That includes the alternate universes, because those alt universes are canon within those universes. So what happens in The Wildness Within isn't canon for the main universe, but it's certainly canon to TWW, and not only that, but about 70% of the extra character details are canon to the main universe, they're just things I couldn't share there, for whatever reason.
On the other hand, if someone else wrote an FT story, it wouldn't be canon to anything at all, except for like, their own story.
I think of many of the Fae Tales AUs as being fannish in nature (they're serials, they go up on AO3, I'm pro transformative works, they show characters in different or new scenarios etc.), but to me they're still original fiction. I've never seen a single AU that I've written as a 'fanfic' ship, no matter how connected it is to the original canon (like The Nascent Diplomat and The Wildness Within which I think we can say are probably the closest to the original world, and the original canon).
However, when it comes to almost complete departures, where characters like Efnisien become almost unrecognisable compared to his original counterpart, I think of those as new worlds. For example, I almost never tag any of Underline the Black with 'fae tales AU' anymore, because it doesn't really mean anything. It's not helpful to newcomers. It's not useful.
Most of the cast never appeared in the canon. (This was also true for the main cast of Falling Falling Stars sans Efnisien - Arden, Gary, Kadek were all newcomers; for me, if a story is 75% new main characters and 25% one holdover vastly AU character, that's now another canon universe lmao).
But back to Underline the Rainbow:
Kadek, Gary, Anton, Flitmouse, Caleb, Faber, Nate, Janusz are all either original characters or were developed as original characters in AUs (like Kadek). Kadek, Caleb, Faber, Kent, and more aren't AUs of anything, they're original to the story. Characters like Gary, Anton, Flitmouse, Nate, Janusz were never anywhere near the Fae Tales canon, or the early Fae Tales AUs, and to me they have nothing to do with it. Which makes classifying Underline the Rainbow as a 'Fae Tales AU' make about as much sense as classifying it as an 'FFS AU' - there's about as much crossover in the characters, after all. And not only that, but main ensemble characters more fundamental to the canon - Ash, Mosk, Eran, Julvia, Gulvi, Augus, Gwyn, either haven't made an appearance (or been mentioned once), or have only been one or two chapters out of 50+.
Proportionately, the amount of characters remaining from the original canon Fae Tales universe stands at about 10%. If you had a dog that was 90% border collie and 10% beagle, you probably wouldn't call that dog a 'beagle AU' or a 'beagle cross' - you'd probably just start calling it a border collie with a weird grandpa. Falling Falling Stars is the same to me, honestly, because so much of the core cast was original to the story, and everyone else from the original series mostly got 'cameos' if they weren't Efnisien or Gwyn. I made a conscious decision to give more weight to original characters - even side characters we don't see much - Vicki, Bridge, Han Yuen, Leo, Nate, Janusz, Teddy, Mika, Gary, Arden, Kadek, etc. The story is nothing without them.
To me, this kind of process (10% og characters remaining) separates Underline the Black out into its own universe. It has very heavy, fairly robust worldbuilding for an omegaverse story (enough that I need to use worldbuilding software to keep track of some of it). I don't need to go back to the Fae Tales canon ever to write it (which I did have to do sometimes for The Wildness Within, and have very rarely had to do for The Nascent Diplomat). I don't need to go back to the Falling Falling Stars/Spoils universe to write it. It stands fully on its own, complete and contained.
Because it has some links to Fae Tales (Efnisien + Gwyn's family mostly), it still has like... a Fae Tales flavour. And now that I've started working on like completely original world stuff in the background, there is a difference.
But yeah no, for a start I don't consider any of it fanfiction, and it's weird when people do, because it's not fanfiction if it's something the OP is doing. We don't call comics by the same comic author - that happen to be different versions of the same world - 'fanfiction.' If the Russos direct two Marvel movies focusing on two separate characters, but the first character cameos in the second in a way that retcons the character's narrative, we don't call the second movie an AU of the first, or fanfiction of the first. It's still an original property.
Underline the Black and Spoils are both separate universes as both have like less than 25% of the original story/characters within them (Imho Iron Man is still Iron Man just because Loki or Thor cameo, or join the ensemble as minor characters). It could be that the Spoils universe feels less fleshed out to you because it's contemporary, for me they're on a similar keel. Especially because Efnisien was literally a 2 dimensional paper cut-out of a fae before Spoils who exists for like 5 seconds in the canon, and he bears almost zero resemblance to his originating character except in name, family and appearance. But certainly not in personality, origins, actions or capacity for growth - i.e. everything that makes the character a character.
But it is fannish.
Tl;dr: I definitely don't see Gary/Ef as a 'fanfic' ship. I don't see any of my AUs as 'fanfic ships' because I don't see any of my original writing as fanfiction even though it's fannish in nature.
If anything, Underline the Black is a Spoils AU, lol.

What is Chronicles?
Tumblr media
I've had folks ask me, 'BG what the heck is this Chronicles thing you've spent the past five or so years writing'?
Well, to that the best answer I have is:
Tumblr media
Chronicles is an Evangelion multi-crossover MST3K with approximately 7 or 8 layers of Kingdom-Heartianesque lore alongside it (don't ask how it got that bad, I just roll with it now!), originally spun off from the absolutely wonderful Advice and Trust from Strypgia. So if you ever wanted to know:
How the characters of Evangelion react to watching their own show (NGE, the Rebuilds...) and their own fanworks (The Second Try, Re:Take, Mobile Fighter Evangelion...),
How they react to other non-Evangelion works (Darling in the Franxx, Half-Life 2, Kill la Kill...)
How many other universes and lore I can cram into a single fanwork while still maintaining a semi-cohesive narrative (cause there's like thirty something-),
Various slice-of-life fluff and drama tidbits starring all your favourite characters from Evangelion (and other universes, and some originals as well!),
Then boy do I have the work for you!
As of writing, there are currently 22 mainline Chronicles entries, plus various other omake and sidestory. Check out the individual arc posts for more information!
Check out the series on AO3 here! Story updates will be posted here, on my AO3, and on Sufficient Velocity under the A&T thread!
I also have asks open, if you ever wanted to know something about the Chronicles universe, drop me a line! You may even have someone from the Chronicles universe answer!
Few other details as an FYI:
Chronicles is broadly PG-13/M rated, there's sexual references abounds and things get violent in parts. If we cover sensitive subjects or things are more violent or sexual than usual, it will be disclaimed in the fic or the chapter.
Ships are mostly inherited from A&T, so Asushin, Kaworei, etc, though I am flexible with this and it may change and develop as the story goes on (yes this includes that triad Kensuke developed with Sayaka and Kyoko from PMMM). Ships outside of the NGE cast are also broadly untagged, so don't be surprised if something springs up in some of the other characters that you didn't expect!
The lore of Chronicles is more or less flexible as well (look there's been 1.8 million words over five years, I've done my best to keep it all together but I'm only one bloke!). If there's anything contradictory within it, the latest fic in the series takes priority.
Yes I know the generally poor rap the MST3K genre has, believe me I have taken steps to mitigate this. Permission will always be sought from the original author for any fanfiction covered, and I do my damndest to write it from how the characters would view it. The MST3K portion is generally written in script fic style unless something big happens within it.
Chronicles is a democratic series. Everything covered outside of the first four entries and Thrice Upon a Time have been suggested by the people. Any suggestions made for works to cover in the MST3K potion are added to a list and polled, the winners of said poll get covered in subsequent entries. Active polls will be noted here, on SV, and on AO3 when the time comes. Feel free to ask suggestions to cover!
@wixelt does all the logos for Chronicles (and is a longtime collaborator for Chronicles, it wouldn't be nearly as good without them so go chuck them a follow!)
Hope you enjoy!
ARC I: CRUCIFIX
ARC II: SOVEREIGN
ARC III: SOUTHERN CROSS
ARC IV: AMERICAN TALE

🍉🍓🍒🍍🥝🍐🍈🫐 That should be enough to give you something to chew on. :)
🍉 Do you prefer to write short fics or long fics? Multichaptered works or single ones? Why? I love writing both, but I think I prefer short fics/one-shots in a series. It's just more fun building a universe with little snippets here and there.
🍓 What’s a fic you’ve written you feel is underrated? A lot of my CSIverse stuff that's not about CSI: NY. Back in its heyday, I was a pretty popular Buffyverse author, a prolific and respected Sherlock writer, I got a lot of love when I was into Bleach, and while I don't write as much Wholock anymore it got a decent amount of hits and stuff. But my CSI and CSI: Miami stuff was usually overlooked? IDRK, I've been writing fanfic for nearly 25 years, I could be forgetting the love I got in those fandoms.
🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!) Idiots to lovers.
🍊 Who’s a character you don’t write for that often, but keep meaning to write for more? (They’re so interesting! But maybe you have trouble pinning them down, or keep getting distracted by another blorbo…) I keep meaning to write Elementary stuff, but the show was so damn perfect as it was that I can only write missing scene stuff. Sherlock and Joan are just so fascinating, as are Gregson and Bell, but I just can't figure out what to write for them.
🥝 What’s your favorite trope/AO3 tag to write? Trope? Fake dating. AO3 tag? -INSERT CHARACTER- Needs A Hug
🍐 Is there anything in canon that you absolutely hate and love to fix in fics? A wrong choice made, a fuck-up in characterization, a misunderstanding never cleared up, a conversation never shown onscreen, etc… Okay. I am not bashing Sherlock here, not really, but after ending season 3/getting utterly and completely spoiled for season 4, you see the show has a fuckton of flaws making it ripe for fix-it fics. First and foremost there's the travesty of Mary's death, then there's the missing Reichenbach stuff, there's Irene being rescued and conflicting ideas by cast and writers as to what happened then, the mystery surrounding just why Molly was in a bad mood for the phone call, Sally's disappearance for most of S3/all of S4 (we know in real life it was scheduling conflicts, but they never explained it in the show), and Eurus...just Eurus. So it's like, you can pick any point in this show and use that as a starting point for fix-it/missing scene fic that's better than canon. But yeah. That's why I have thousands of Sherlock fic and very few Elementary fic by comparison.
🍈 Who’s your blorbo and what are some of your favorite headcanons/ideas about them that repeatedly show up in your fics? Free pass to rant about blorbo opinions. My blorbo has to be Molly Hooper. I write her in so much, with characters from four other mediums as well as multiple male AND female characters in her fandom. I am a strong supporter of the "Molly Hooper is bi" sentiment, that she knows self defence, that she and Sally are friends (if not dating), that she has more money than Sherlock, and that she wants a child at some point (preferably before she's too old to enjoy parenthood).
🫐 What’s your favorite underrated thing in your fandom? (A ship that only you seem to write for, a character there’s almost no fics about, a trope that criminally hasn’t been written yet, etc.) In my primary fandom (Sherlock)? There isn't enough crossover stuff. Don't care what it's crossed over with, it's ripe for crossovers.

Sonic the Hedgehog
Tag: His RP posts will be tagged "muse: sonic"
*This version is my own, based on the movies and maybe a little on the Sonic X anime (background is movie based). Do not expect it to align with the games, comics, or other shows.
Tumblr media
Name: His legal name is Sonic Wachowski.
Height: 3' 3"
Eye color: Green
Fur/quill color: Blue, with markings
Gender: Male
Species: Mobian, Hedgehog.
Age: About 14, though this can change for memes, M!As, or just asks.
*I will do threads as Baby/Toddler Sonic, too, and these will have "muse: baby sonic" as a tag.
Tumblr media
Powers/Abilities:
Super speed
Accelerated thought process
Chaos energy manipulation
Ergokinetic combat
Acrobatic skills and reflexes
Durability
Strength
Stamina
Enhanced agility
Enhanced jump
Hand-to-hand combat skills
Expert air pilot **In crossovers with my Rovarians universe, he's also an expert fighter/starship pilot and captain of the Mobius One**
Survival skills
Skilled baseball player
Driving skills
Leadership skills
Super Sonic transformation
Verses: My version is primarily movie based, at least as far as his background goes. However, I can also play him from the Sonic X anime. His personality just might seem a little more like the movie version. I will also do crossovers with other fandoms, but please DM me about them first, as I may need to research the other fandom.
*I also have an AU that crosses over with my Rovarians universe, in which Mobius and Rovaria are allies against the newly discovered Metarex threat, as well as any other alien threat. In this one, Sonic, knowing the Blue Typhoon isn't really built for combat, asks to borrow a Rovarian ship. Instead, the Rovarians build an entirety new ship, with all the equipment designed to be easily accessed and used by Mobians (most of whom are half the size of the average Rovarian). It's a Saturn-class heavy cruiser, with more defenses and armaments than a standard Saturn-class. Sonic leaves the Typhoon for a time to go to Rovaria (Mars) and pick up the vessel, which he names Mobius One. At a time when the Typhoon had sustained heavy damage in battle, and the others were concerned that it wouldn't last much longer (despite Tails' best efforts) Sonic drops out of warp with Mobius One to turn the fight in their favor (unbeknownst to their enemies, the Artax has also tagged along, remaining cloaked in order to collect data on the enemy and lend emergency aid. The Typhoon is able to land inside a docking bay aboard Mobius One and the journey of Sonic X would continue from there. Threads for this would probably start during or after that battle (or this AU might happen completely differently if we muns decide it should. I'm just putting the ideas i had out here.
Bio: Sonic's parents died when he was very little, so he doesn't really remember them. He was found crying beside them by the Owl warrior Longclaw, who took him in and cared for him as her own child and loved him very much. He was four when Longclaw sent him to Earth (with her bag of Rings and a map of safe worlds) to protect the secret of his powers, shortly before she was killed by the Echidna. For ten years, he lived in the forests around the town of Green Hills, Montana, until the events of the Sonic the Hedgehog films occurred (not going to detail those, in case someone hasn't seen the films. I don't want to spoil them). He now lives with his family in Green Hills. (unless we're doing Sonic X, then it's Station Square or Mobius)
Personality: He's very energetic and optimistic, and can even be a little cocky and overconfident at times. He's got an attitude (what teenager doesn't?) but he's really a sass basket with a heart of gold, a very caring person. Despite his overconfidence, he can be a little insecure at times, especially when it comes to serious matters, where he sometimes feels inadequate compared to Knuckles and Tails, and he'll often try to cover up his lack of confidence (in himself, only ever himself) with a stupid joke or some other attempt at humor. He's actually a pretty selfless person who loves his family and would do anything for them, even put himself in danger to protect them. When he messes things up, he's not always so quick to admit that HE was the one who messed up, but he does try to make it right. Really, he's making up for the childhood he never got to have, since he's lived alone for ten years. Because of this, he may act younger than his actual age at times. If he catches this, he may act embarrassed by it or ashamed of it, such as the fact he sleeps with a stuffed animal (an owl that looks kind of like Longclaw) or that he sometimes wants to sleep with his adoptive parents after he has a nightmare. He doesn't really get angry unless his family or someone he cares about is threatened or hurt. He's dependable, always there when you need him, and if he says he'll do something you can be assured it'll get done. He does suffer from nightmares of various battles, close calls, or the attack that took Longclaw from him. Sometimes he wakes up on his own (usually screaming and/or crying) but sometimes he may need someone to wake him up. He may deny it verbally, but he actually does like being held and hugged, and is happy to do so for his siblings if they need it. He's especially protective of Tails, knowing how much the fox admires him and looks up to him.
Interests/Likes: Action movies, especially those starring Keanu Reeves, The Flash comics (and others, but Flash is his favorite), music and dancing, playing baseball (especially when the town's team, the Green Hills Bluedevils, let him play with them. He even has his own uniform). He also enjoys doing things with his family. His favorite food is chili dogs.
Fears: Water. He cannot swim, and he's afraid of drowning (he can take showers and baths, but he cannot do pools, unless it's a kiddie pool, or lakes/rivers/the ocean. He's also afraid of losing his family to his enemies (usually Dr. Robotnik, a.k.a Dr. Eggman, but could be someone else depending on whatever us muns want)

All of my fics have happy endings. Sorry, I'm a fluff person, I hate angsty endings with a passion lmao That's not to judge those who do like those types of stories by the way, OR those that write them! I just have a hard enough time with my depression as is, I need happy content to balance it out
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
...all of them? Lmao The problem here is I really don't remember, like, any of them, even the ones I've recently written so... heh. Sorry.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I haven't so far. That I recall, anyway.
9. Do you write smut?
*Giggles and clears throat* well, see, I didn't before but something's changed because of Daniel, he's an entirely new experience for me in my history of hyperfixations, and now I can't seem to stop writing smut. I don't know why he's different, but he is. I hate that it's really fun lol
10. Do you wrote crossovers? What's the craziest one you've ever written?
My brain has a hard enough time handling one universe at a time, I think I'd just get confused trying to cross any over, but I do appreciate and respect all those that do write crossovers; y'all are incredible.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Given how AO3, unlike Inkitt, does not protect against the copy/paste option, I'm sure someone somewhere stole something of mine. I'm not too upset about it, everything on AO3 is just for fun anyway. All my serious stuff is locked down proper.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I think I have one time, by someone who wanted it available in their language. I forget which fic it was, though I do know it was back in my SPN days.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
I have not, but I have leaned upon @ellie--eille for the first smut piece I ever wrote for SG1, which was a big step for me and I'm so grateful that it turned out so incredible. I still appreciate her help so much <3
14. What's your all time favourite ship?
Daniel Jackson x reader, ngl; I'm having SO much fun with it
but also Daniel Jackson x Cam (I don't know why, though, cos we don't get as much content with them as we did with Daniel Jackson x Jack O'Neill; guess the heart wants what it wants)
Look, I can't pick just ONE, okay?? Lmao
15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
My original novel "Out Of Time". Book one is complete and I'm very slowly editing it, but book two is stuck on their honeymoon and I cant, for the life of me, seem to get past it :(
16. What are your writing strengths?
Fluff, 100%. Anything cutesy and emotional and happy and sweet. Stuff that makes someone swoon and feel like they're melting, stuff that makes them smile and hopefully giggle.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Literally everything else lmao That, and, I never studied grammar, cos honestly it's the most confusing shit in the world for me, so my grammar is likely atrocious. But, like, if you can read it, and you can understand it, and you can enjoy it, does it really matter??
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
That is extremely tricky and I usually avoid it. Because unless you know all the slang and grammar rules and stuff, you might accidentally be saying something you never meant to say and/or you might insult someone who's native to that language :/
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Supernatural
20. Favourite fic you've ever written?
Ooh. Uhm. Honestly, it's a tie now between When Fate Strikes (SPN; I remember that being a big deal when I was writing it) and The Things We Don't Know (Stargate SG1) that I'm working on now.
This was a lot of fun!! I don't really remember who's a writer on here and who's not so if you see this and you write, please partake! Questions to copy are below the cut:

Thinkin' 'Bout NaNoWriMo
It's getting to be that time of year again--that time when writers everywhere sit down and ask themselves important questions. Questions like, "Am I doing NaNoWriMo this year?" and "If I am doing NaNo, what am I even gonna write?"
I am planning to do an abridged NaNo this year--probably not more than 20k words for the whole month. (Part of me always wants to shoot for 50k, but the rest of me knows me better than that, and knows that down that path lies horrific burnout, so.) I am having trouble choosing which story I want to work on.
Which brings me to you, Tumblr.
Here are my current story ideas for NaNoWriMo. There are five of them, and I've listed a little summary for almost all of them, along with some personal pros and cons.
Idea #1: Fantasy Titanic This idea came to me in a dream two years ago (no, really). The basic gist is thus: What if Titanic (1997), but instead of a love story, it's a heist story, and also there are elves and magic and shit? The summary:
The grandest cruise ship of the century is setting off on its maiden voyage. Passengers include young Neela, who is crossing the ocean to meet her fiance before their wedding, and Alice, a sorceress and unwilling conwoman/thief whose mother has chosen Neela as their next mark. The con is nearly done when disaster strikes--the ship hits an iceberg and begins to sink. In the chaos that ensues, Alice must make hard choices, not least of which is who she wants to be if she survives.
Pros and Cons: +I already have the first half of the story plotted out. +I already have extensive profiles of my two main characters written.
-I have to do a lot more research on the actual ship and the disaster. -I feel like some of the plot I do have needs to be reworked.
Idea #2: Beauty and the Beast Retelling This story is a rewrite of a story I wrote about 15 years ago in my online writing group. I've been wanting to retackle it for a while now, and I spent some time this past spring making plans for it. I don't have a formal summary for it yet, but.
The story follows the basic shape of the original fairy tale, but with some modernization and fantasy twists. The story is set in the US, and it's set in a world where magic has been gone from the western world for well over a century. Other than that, things are more or less the same: Penniless father of three daughters gets lost on the way home from a trip, ends up at a mysterious and obviously magical mansion. He accidentally offends his host, a monstrous Beast, who demands the father give up one of his daughters to the Beast, or else return himself. The eldest daughter (rather than the youngest) agrees to go in her father's place.
Pros and Cons: +I have almost three-fourths of the story plotted out. +I am eager to revisit this idea and improve on my first attempt.
-I may need to do some more worldbuilding before drafting can begin. -I’m not sure if I have a good grip on my main character yet.
Idea #3: TRON/Pacific Rim Crossover I have had this idea for about five years now, and it's a basic "what if I mashed these two universes together?" style crossover. My concept is a series of fics that follow TRON character Quorra's point of view of the Kaiju War, and her journey towards eventually becoming a Jaeger pilot with Sam Flynn (another TRON character). I've got about five or six of the stories already plotted out, though I don't have much more of a summary.
Pros and Cons: +I know how the next few stories are meant to go. +I am feeling enthusiastic about the story as a whole, and am eager to continue work on it.
-I am kind of blocked on the second story, and have been for a while. -I’m still worried no one’s going to read this thin, so what's the point.
Idea #4: TRON '82 High Fantasy AU Not much to say about this one except that it's very new, but here's a summary:
Chesst styles himself the God-Emperor of the Seven Realms, and has outlawed worship of the old gods. Those who still cling to the ancient ways are consigned to the empire’s gladiatorial arenas, forced to fight to the death in dangerous games. Tron, a former knight-paladin of the realm of Enqor, has spent nearly a year in the arenas, fighting and surviving and keeping his faith alive. The gods have not forsaken him yet, and he knows they will not let Chesst’s blasphemy stand. When an amnesiac prisoner named Flynn arrives at Tron’s arena, Tron and his friend Ram are tasked with preparing him for the games. As Flynn recovers and trains, it becomes clear that he is much stronger than even Tron expected. He has access to a powerful magic that he cannot fully control, even with Tron mentoring him. As the start of the games approaches, Tron can only hope that Flynn’s true power can be concealed long enough for him to control it, and perhaps long enough for the three of them to escape.
Pros and Cons: +It’s a new idea, which means it could spark a lot of creativity. +I think it could be a fun idea to explore at length.
-I’d have to do a ton of worldbuilding to get ready to write it. -I also need to plot the whole thing (or at least part of it), with the original film as a guide.
Idea #5: The Face in the Mirror This is also a new idea and yet another TRON story. Concept came about a post on here about what might happen if one program's disc was put on another program's body. I've billed this one as a horror story; here's the summary:
Metz is having a little trouble with his memory. He remembers… horrible things, things that don’t make sense. He remembers derezzing, or at least, he thinks he does. His best friend and lover, Starr, says that it’s just a packet of bad code that will purge itself in time. She reassures him that he’s fine, and he wants to believe her, but… Sometimes, it’s like someone or something else is inside his body. And every time he sees his reflection, he’s startled by the face staring back at him…
Pros and Cons: +I know the basic shape of the story already. +The plot will probably fit my lower NaNoWriMo goal of 10-20k.
-I have no idea how to write a horror story. -I’m not sure I have enough enthusiasm for this idea right now.
I do not promise to abide by the results of this poll, but I'm interested to see what y'all think of my conundrum.

Oooooh I'd love to see the '"we shouldn't do this" but they do it anyway' kiss prompt 👉👈
from this list
on AO3 in full here
Okay, so a quick explanation: One of the alternate universes/crossovers I have for Caleb and Kaidan is my ME/Werewolf: The Apocalypse (RPG) 'verse where this prompt fit PERFECTLY. It actually helped me sort out a spot I'd been writing, though I don't know if it'll end up in their story just as it does here. (will likely be close though!) One of these days I'll get that 'verse sorted out enough to get more writing done for it!
Setting: Just after breaking the Normandy free of the Citadel so they can head to Ilos...
~~~
Anderson’s offer of assistance to help the Normandy get free comes as no surprise. Knowledge that they have support on the Citadel – as limited as it might be at the moment – is still a relief.
On the other hand, stealing a prototype warship, even if it’s their ship to begin with, and fleeing the system like common criminals? Going completely renegade? That’s a whole other kettle of fish, and one that could brand them, HIM, as much of a renegade Spectre as the quarry they are after.
Once they’ve made the relay jump, Caleb retreats to his quarters, sitting at the monitor on his desk, yet not really seeing it for all the thoughts chasing around in his head.
The knock at his door a short while later, he expects. Are you here to relieve me of command, I wonder? You have every right to. “Enter.”
The thought of what might come next, of how this conversation will likely go, sends ripples across his flesh, a pervasive itch inflamed by uncertainty. Gaia, help me through this…
Still, if they are going to have this conversation, it’s going to be on his terms, at the very least. Crossing the room, he retrieves a bottle and three glasses. When the door opens, he finds just Kaidan standing just outside. Interesting. Caleb gestures him inside as he sets one glass back. “Aye. C’mon in.”
Kaidan takes a seat at the table while Caleb slides into the other. “I expected Williams to be with you.” He nudges the bottle over for Kaidan to do the honors of pouring their drinks this time around.
“I suggested it, but she said she’d rather focus on our equipment, make sure it’s good to go when we get to Ilos.” The lieutenant pours two-fingers worth of liquid in each before nudging one back in Caleb’s direction. “I also think Wrex is helping her with that new armor.” Lifting his glass, he murmurs, “Sláinte.”
“Sláinte agatsa.”
I was tagged by @crescentbunny and I'm not tagging anyone in particular because I never really have a good grip on who's already done a tag game and who hasn't...
Anyway! Here goes :)
How many works do you have on AO3?
I write lots of one-shots, so this should be around thirty... Yep, twenty-seven.
What’s your total AO3 word count?
Where do you check that? You can check that???
*spends approximately 10 minutes going through AO3 settings they didn't know existed*
Cool! A lot of features I didn't know about. Anyway, um. Yes. My total word count is, for the moment, 471,674 words.
Wow. I. Um. Almost 500K words. But—and this is extremely important—I feel like this graph contains some vital information:
Tumblr media
How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
Wow. Okay. I'll do this in chronological order because I never really counted.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Inheritance, Assassin's Creed, The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Attack on Titan, Fallout, Sarah Jane Adventures, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Steven Universe. I don't think I missed anything...?
That adds up to 13.
Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
Of course I do! I thrive on feedback! Not implying that my entire self-esteem hinges on the approval of strangers on the internet, but comments are the best fucking thing ever! Instant serotonin for a whole day! Of course I'll reply! I love getting into little conversations with my readers, too!
What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
Wow. I'm usually more of a happy ending kind of person, but A New Quest (which I wrote at the super proud age of 11) did end with half of the main characters dead and a memorial service for them as the last scene, so... You know. If you consider that angsty, then sure.
Fun fact: Crossing A Line was actually originally supposed to end with Shepard dying! The last chapter (which to me still feels a bit out of place) was rewritten completely. I'm glad I changed it, though. I'm having a lot of fun with the sequel!
What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
A month ago I'd have said Waiting Between Worlds without second thoughts—does it count as a happy ending when the whole fic is just a happy ending?—but it's just been going downhill the last three or four chapters. Pretty much every one of my one-shots in the When I Need You series. Also, Crossing A Line, I guess, now that it has a happy ending.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I... really don't. I'm wildly ace, all my sex knowledge comes from smut and porn and I'm pretty sure that if I were to actually write the adult stuff, I'd either go way overboard and make it too obscene to read or end up with something completely dry and clinical and unreadable too.
When there's sex scenes in my fic, I usually leave them implied. I say the characters had sex, but I never explicitly write the actual sex. I don't think I'd be good at it. (Actually, I've tried plenty of times and I know I'm not. It's the dirtiest, kinkiest filth you'd ever see and I'd really recommend against reading it.)
I do like writing the pre-chorus to sex, as it were, though. The sensual foreplay to the sexual foreplay. The soft or heated moments leading up to the act. I've even gotten comments about my lime being "extremely hot despite not being smut" and I'm more than happy with that description.
Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the strangest one you’ve written?
I used to write crossovers. Now I only sometimes write AUs based on a different fandom, like a Shakarian Kimi no Na wa!AU.
The strangest crossover I've ever written? Don't know if any of them were strange. I had The Wolf Among Us/The Walking Dead crossovers and Doctor Who/Sarah Jane Adventures crossovers, but both of those pretty much exist in the same universe already, so... No. No weird crossovers.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
God, I hope not. At least none that I know of.
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Yes. Plenty. A lot. I'd wager around 4 out of 5 comments on my Shepard Twins fanfic are negative. I haven't updated the fic in a while, but that doesn't mean I'm not writing anymore. I have around 50K words' worth of WIP of it. So no, the hate comments don't bother me. (A lie: they bother me a lot. They even make me cry, sometimes. But they're not gonna be the reason I stop writing a story I enjoy.)
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
My very first fanfiction writing experience, actually. In retrospect, I think that worked out great, because that kind of cooperation made it easier to carry the whole thing through, get it to the end, and was a very positive experience - which is probably why I've continued to write fanfic.
What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Ahhh. Royai or Shakarian? Royai or Shakarian? Stupid, since they're almost the same relationship dynamic, but they're both amazingly written. I'm edging a bit more towards Shakarian, because interspecies stuff is always a bonus. Still, it's a close competition.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
I wish! I've translated other people's fics, but I've yet to have someone do that for me.
What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
I plan to hope to finish all my WIPs.
What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue. This is going to come off as boastful, but I think I'm pretty good at replicating individual characters' speech patterns.
What are your writing weaknesses?
According to my beta, I use elispses too liberally. According to me, I have trouble with transition scenes. I never write in order, so I always end up with disconnected scenes I need to join into a chapter. And the join parts don't even come easy to me.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
Not a fan. (When I write fanfics in Polish, I sometimes use English, but that's not the same because everyone in Poland knows English anyway.) If it's a made-up language in the fandom, I like to include some words every now and then in dialogue - especially when it doesn't translate exactly. I love spotlighting cultural differences. I actually learned a load of Jel words for my Murkmire fanfics.
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Good times. Damn, that was a long time ago. *suddenly gets the overwhelming realization that they've been writing fanfic for the bigger part of their life* ...Wow.
What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
Big Spoon/Little Spoon, a short Shakarian one-shot exploring the psychology of the Spacer background a bit. I also used lighting in a really cool way in this one! I'm really proud of it. Even when I call it "the Spooning As A Metaphor For Nationality Issues fanfic", I mean it in an affectionate way.
As far as non-one-shots go, I'm going with Crossing A Line. It's got it all: Enemies to Lovers, language barrier, interspecies awkwardness... Plus, writing from Garrus's POV is always a treat. I get to refer to humans as "aliens". What more could you want?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU’D LIKE TO BE ADDED TO THE TAG LIST FOR THIS STORY!!! LET ME KNOW VIA COMMENT OR MESSAGE—JUST INTERACTING WITH THIS POST IS NOT A CLEAR INDICATOR!!! Thank you for your cooperation!!!
(Feel free to reach out if you’d like more information about it before deciding if you want to be tagged! And thank you all so much for your support!!!)
What you need to know going into this story:
This fic is a Star Wars AU in that it is (to an extent) set in the Star Wars universe. This is just because I’m too lazy to world-build an entire universe for a single fic, but I already have a lot of energy put into creating my own pieces of Star Wars headcanons, OCs, and etc. that I’ve never gotten around to writing into anything, so I decided to adopt them for this fic. So while Yo Ho, Hero! takes place within the “universe” of Star Wars, it has little to nothing to do with the events of the films/shows/etc. I just wanted to use the planets/species/terminology/etc. of Star Wars instead of putting that much thought into it because I have enough else to do and all I want to do is write, not world-build, dammit.
Despite it sort-of-technically-kind-of-actually being a Star Wars AU, there are no Jedi. Just mages. No force, just good, old-fashioned magic.
In addition to planets/species/terminology/etc. from Star Wars, you may recognize some themes from other media. Yes, the “sailing ship in space” aesthetic is straight from Treasure Planet. It’s also likely that mentions of a planet called “Hyrule” will come up, along with Hylian and Rito species from it. Yes, this is a direct reference to Legend of Zelda, because at one point I was working on a LoZ/Star Wars crossover fic that never got written but did get absorbed into this story apparently. It’s also because I’m too lazy to come up with anything original.
There will be a few OCs who make minor appearances in this fic. Aleesha is one of my first-ever OCs (created when I was literally about 11-12) and has never found her way into an actual written story (despite me having PLANNED several stories about/concerning her) so I’m super excited to use her here!!! Jocasta is my D&D character who I love despite her being an actual disaster. I made a joke about how she should be in this fic cos she’s a pirate then had a galaxy brain moment and actually wrote her into it.
Pretty much any ship they encounter will be named after either a Legend of Zelda game or some other piece of popular media (my other primary source is Twilight book/movie names for some reason don’t @ me I’m unoriginal) so uhhh don’t be surprised by that. I am SO bad at coming up with names for places/things. People? Fine. I can do that. Places/ships/things/etc? Not a chance. (You may think I’m joking here, but you won’t think that when you read about a spaceship named Breath of the Wild or Midnight Sun, because those are both things that I’ve written and that may appear in this story.)
Read on FanFiction.Net | Read on Archive Of Our Own
Also including a cheat sheet of character species/races here because I don’t directly reference many of them by name in the fic. I’ll link references for some of them where I have them.
Jack Kelly: Near-human. May or may not have secret gills.
Race Higgins: “Canus”, AKA dog-based species. Think Dr. Delbert from Treasure Planet.
Elmer Kasprzak: Near-human. Appears human for all intents and purposes.
Davey Jacobs: Former human, current immortal. Basically a human frozen at 25.
Crutchie and Katherine: Humans!
Spot Conlon: “Canus”. Think Dr. Delbert from Treasure Planet.
JoJo: Onotoran (original alien race). Purple skin, deep blue eyes, and a rainbow array of feathers in place of hair on her head and running down her spine to the small of her back. Also feathers on the backs of her hands and running up her forearms to her elbows.
Romeo: half-Felis. Think Tabaxi from D&D but tall, or Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet, but more human cos he’s only half.
Specs: Literally just a Rito from Legend of Zelda (specifically Breath of the Wild).
Finch: half-Rito, half-Hylian. Closer to the look of the Rito in Wind Waker.
Skittery: Verpine (Star Wars: Legends)
Allie Raysh/Aleesha Shray: Human
Jocasta Mar’Soren: May have once been part Hylian but it doesn’t matter any more because she’s now an immortal, like Davey.
Albert Dasilva: Felis. Think Tabaxi from D&D but tall, or Captain Amelia from Treasure planet.
Buttons: he’s basically a cross between an Ood from Doctor Who and a Quarren from Star Wars.
Sarah Jacobs: human or near-human.
Les Jacobs: human or near-human.
Medda: Anatoran (original alien race). See description for JoJo, but with snow-white skin and black eyes and feathers.
Mush Meyers: Cosmoran (original alien race). See description for JoJo, but with coal-black skin and white eyes and feathers.
Elaine O’Dell: Hylian from Legend of Zelda.
Sniper: Togrutan (Star Wars)
Disclaimer: I do not own Newsies, Star Wars, Treasure Planet, the Legend of Zelda franchise, Twilight, or anything you recognize from any of those sources or any other form of published media. I do, however, own this story, Aleesha, the settlement of Haven, Jocasta, and anything else you don’t recognize from any form of published media.
I had this nagging idea
Before I start tho, just wanna say that this is inspired by @blooming-rose-writings fic which is linked here,
This is in bullet points btw, I'm toooo lazyyy and my brain's all mushy from lack of sleep.
Also, quick note here, it's a crossover of DC and mlb, hmmm, maybe even Marvel. We'll see how my thought process goes with this.
So, basically the multi-verse theory.
Or perhaps the suitable term/type of it for this little fic would be, parallel universe. Like in CW's supergirl cross with The Flash. Yeah.
Okay, going back on track,
Basically, the main universe will be, say, DC (this is optional considering I have not one clue of which ship would be the main) .
So perhaps there's a crisis, world ending threat, all that yada yada villainous schist.
Let's say, the Justice League are, for once, incredibly out matched to stop this threat. Since, it's probs miraculous related. Maybe like, one of the miraculous boxes got lost and ended up in DC Universe, idk.
Suddenly Wonder Woman be like, "I know someone who can help" Probs either referring to master fu ( which is unlikely since memory lost and all that) or maybe Ladybug.
So since all the parallel universes yada yada, they don't know which to contact and which is active and schist. Hence them just using the JL magic users to summon all existing and active ladybugs and black cats, since they're yin and yang and they probs can't be separated, platonic or otherwise.
Or another option would be to like, use frequency stuff like in that one episode in The Flash where they contacted all the Dr. Wells from each parallel universe.
Either two could work.
Anyway,
Once they did that, multiple people start appearing in pairs since they're summoning both cat and ladybug from each universe and all that.
They suddenly start to notice a pattern going on.
There was always this girl with blue eyes and dark hair.
Of course, the other pair would differ.
That's when everyone was just like, wtf????
The pairs included like,
Mari and Felix, Mari and Adrien, Kagami, Chloe, Luka. Older Mari and Jason, Tim and even Dick.
But what had them all surprised was Marinette and a smiling Damian.
Like fuck dude. What the fuck is going on???
Once the last of the Miraculous duo appeared -there were at least 20 pairs(is that too much????), all of them just looked around and at each other and sighed.
And one of them said something along the lines of "I'm guessing there's another world-ending crisis?"
"No no, lemme guess. There's a universe-ending crisis? "
"Welp, another team up, I suppose!"
Soooo, I might make this into a fic. Dunno yet.
What do y'all think?
