#this was off a joke I made about how the first hour of calamity ep 4 is bad#but following it up with cerrit sending away his kids was INFINITELY WORSE#like the horrors of the sundered tree actually happen SO fast but cerrit's tragedy playing out in the same timeframe LINGERS#you could SEE even the members of the table who were not parents just HEARTBROKEN#(which. to be fair. is also probably because who does not remember how to be a child when it comes to it)#anyway yeah the point being that horrors beyond your comprehension don't actually necessarily hit the hardest
